Hello friends, welcome back to Thrive Beyond Size! Today's episode was born out of some things I've been thinking about and some things my husband Rob and I have been discussing. Specifically about our future. What do we want for our future? What do we have to do today to get out of our own way, take care of our health, and achieve the future we want in our retirement? We made a dream list and thought “Well that will never happen” but then I wondered “Why not?”. Nothing was outrageous. So today I welcome Lucie Ptasznik to talk to us about getting what we need and want out of life. Lucie is a speaker, coach, and entrepreneur who teaches people specific tools and techniques to rewire subconscious minds and take action toward goals. She wants us all to step outside our comfort zones and be the best version of ourselves we can be. One of the first things Lucie shares is her very inspirational entrepreneurship journey involving horses. She self-trained herself to train horses and manifested a wild opportunity to buy and sell horses en route to the slaughterhouse to save them. From there she opened the most popular public trail riding company in Michigan then went on to corporate America. But now she's interested in connecting us all with the power we have within to be intentional about what we focus on, intentional about our desires, and how meditation and mindset can truly help us achieve our goals. Lucie talks about how the thoughts we harbor about ourselves can affect us physically either positively or negatively, she explains how awareness is the key to accepting that we have the power to change, and she speaks to the truth of how affirmations work. Our conversation is about not limiting ourselves, about freeing ourselves from the judgements of others and embracing the potential we have inside ourselves to tap into the power of the universe for the betterment of our lives. I really hope you find this as fascinating as I did.__About Lucie Ptasznik:Lucie is a speaker, coach & entrepreneur who quit corporate America to pursue her passion for horses. She went on to create a 7 figure business buying, training & selling horses all over the country. Today she teaches people specific tools & techniques to rewire their subconscious mind, transform their identity and take massive action toward their goals. She challenges you to step outside of your comfort zone & become the best version of yourself mentally, physically, financially & spiritually.__Resources discussed in this episode:Dr. Joe DispenzaUltimateSuccessBlueprint.com code: THRIVETransformation Nation on Facebook__Learn more about Lucie Ptasznik:Website: LucieLynn.comInstagramFacebookYouTubeLearn more about Dr. Michelle Tubman and Wayza Health:Website: www.wayzahealth.comFollow me on Facebook and InstagramEmail Michelle: michelle@wayzahealth.com

While she derives great fulfillment from swimming in mystical waters, she equally values nurturing her Earthly side through motherhood, animals, and plants. Kara says. “I came to meditation several years ago, in an effort to get through a particularly difficult year. I was dealing with an inordinate amount of death and disease within my family, and I needed something to help me shift out of hopelessness and give a more solid foundation to my life. I had tried meditation off and on for years prior to that and had never been able to make it "stick," but this time I sought out a teacher and received methods and techniques to help me establish a consistent practice. From that platform I have been able to use meditation not only to help me cope with the knocks life inevitably delivers, but I have truly transformed the way I see, interact with, and am received by the world."https://www.karagoodwin.comhttps://www.instagram.com/kara_goodwin_meditation/https://www.facebook.com/karagoodwinmeditationGet a free 10-minute meditation at https://www.karagoodwin.comKara's Podcast: Meditation ConversationPodcast link: https://www.themeditationconversation.comI want o hear from YOU! Life finds you while you're chasing it.Sunaina Sinha Haldea is a Global Head of private capital advisory for Raymond James. She's a regular guest on CNBC and has written Five Habits to Build Mental Strength for Fast Company. She had been a senior meditator for over 15 years when she started her entrepreneurial journey. Parallel with her entrepreneurial journey she started with meditation and that became a secret of her success in business and balancing her life - as she explained - she could not make it without it. The superpower of meditation is in allowing us to control our thoughts and emotions, not to let our thoughts and emotions control us. Sunania felt incredible liberation and huge empowerment when she started controlling her mind and making decisions without her mind running her but learning and focusing clearly on all challenges in front of her. Sunaina also enhances the role of meditation in managing the demands of entrepreneurship and maintaining mental strength. In the world where we started talking about mental issues but solutions for those should be proactive, and she advocates for integrating meditation into early education as a tool for building resilience and preventing mental health issues. She discussed the importance of setting boundaries and staying true to our values, especially in the face of pressures and temptations, and how meditation helped her with mindfulness and balance. Even her children are practicing it. We control how we live our days, how we experience each day, so take control over your life! Show notes

In today's postmodern digital age, the energies are moving rapidly. Are you feeling the speeding up of time? In today's episode I talk about the importance of making peace with your history and emotional trauma so that you are prepared for the uptick in the energies and have resilience and coherence daily. Meditation helps us take personal dominion over our thoughts, emotional experiences and our triggers. In this episode, I'm recording solo, sharing my reflections on the world's emotional state, followed by a guided meditation. Meditation is the act of purposefully guiding our attention to an internal still point to quiet the mind. Harmony happens when the mind is brought to a still point of focus — I believe it's one of the most valuable tools of our time. There is a groundswell of change in our world, and you may feel as if resolution is out of reach. But I'm here to share with you that everything is solvable. Listen in to learn more about how meditation can support and solve what feels insurmountable in order to harness the intelligence and intuition that comes from our hearts and souls.
