Pour la première fois, la Centrafrique réagit aux événements de samedi dernier en Russie. Les autorités centrafricaines espèrent que « tout va rentrer dans l'ordre et [que] les liens de coopération entre Moscou et Bangui vont demeurer comme à l'accoutumée ». Mais elles ajoutent que si les Français et les Américains veulent venir aussi sécuriser le territoire centrafricain, « ils seront les bienvenus ». Évariste Ngamana est le premier vice-président de l'Assemblée nationale centrafricaine. Il est aussi le directeur de campagne pour le « oui » au référendum du 30 juillet prochain. En ligne de Bangui, il répond aux questions de Christophe Boisbouvier. RFI : Pourquoi voulez-vous changer de Constitution ?Évariste Ngamana : Vous savez que c'est le peuple centrafricain dans son ensemble qui a fortement milité pour le changement de cette Constitution, étant entendu que la Constitution du 30 mars 2016 renfermait beaucoup de manquements et que c'était une Constitution qui avait été adoptée après la période de transition. C'est ainsi que vous avez vu, dans un passé récent, il y a eu des marches, des manifestations, des mémorandums, des pétitions qui ont été destinées aux autorités centrafricaines, demandant, effectivement, le changement de cette Constitution, la prise en compte des résolutions issues du dialogue républicain qui s'est tenu à Bangui en mars 2022.Pour l'opposition politique, en fait, tout est simple, le président Faustin-Archange Touadéra veut changer la Constitution pour pouvoir briguer un troisième mandat en 2025…C'est faux et archi-faux. Pour nous, ce qui compte aujourd'hui, c'est la réécriture de cette nouvelle Constitution. Les autres débats ne sont que du dilatoire.Mais, de fait, si cette nouvelle Constitution est adoptée, Faustin-Archange Touadéra pourra éventuellement se représenter en 2025, c'est ça ?Une nouvelle Constitution revient à dire que c'est une nouvelle République, et si le président de la République répond aux critères d'éligibilité, pourquoi pas, c'est un Centrafricain comme tout autre et c'est le peuple centrafricain qui tranchera à travers les urnes.Donc les compteurs vont bien être remis à zéro ?Le compteur sera remis à zéro, puisqu'il s'agit d'une nouvelle République, et d'un nouveau départ.Et dans ce cas-là, est-ce que le président Touadéra sera le candidat naturel du parti au pouvoir, le mouvement Cœurs unis (MCU), pour la prochaine présidentielle de 2025 ?Il est prématuré de vous dire un mot sur cette question, puisque au moment venu, c'est le MCU qui va se réunir en congrès pour décider s'il sera candidat ou pas. Donc pour l'instant, je ne peux pas vous dire si c'est Touadéra, si c'est Boisbouvier, si c'est Ngamana, mais le moment venu, vous le saurez.Pour l'organisation de ce référendum, vous comptez notamment sur le soutien du Rwanda et de la Russie, mais quand on parle des Russes, est-ce qu'on pense à ceux du groupe paramilitaire Wagner, ou à ceux de l'État russe ?Mais pourquoi vous ne parlez que de la Russie et du Rwanda ? On pourra aussi compter sur la France, les États-Unis, la Chine, etc. Mais en ce qui concerne la question du mécontentement en Russie, c'est un problème purement intérieur à la Russie. Notre relation avec la Russie, c'est une relation d'État à État et nous ne pouvons que nous conformer à cela.Et quand vous avez vu samedi dernier les images d'Evguéni Prigojine qui entrait en rébellion contre Vladimir Poutine, comment avez-vous réagi ?C'est un problème purement « russo-russien », donc c'est entre les Russes, cela n'entame en rien les relations qui ont toujours existé entre nos deux États. Donc nous osons espérer que tout va rentrer dans l'ordre et que nos liens de coopération vont demeurer comme à l'accoutumée.Mais concrètement, Évariste Ngamana, les deux chefs du groupe paramilitaire Wagner qui sont dans votre pays, côté militaire, l'ancien légionnaire français Vitali Perfilev, et côté politique, Dmitri Sytyi, est-ce qu'ils vont rester à Bangui ou pas ?Je n'en sais rien, puisque je ne connais pas leur fonctionnement. Vous savez, les hommes passent mais les institutions demeurent, donc ce qui compte pour nous, c'est la relation d'État à État qui ne date pas d'aujourd'hui entre la République centrafricaine et la fédération de Russie.Alors vous dites que tous les pays amis sont bienvenus pour aider à l'organisation du référendum du 30 juillet prochain, et vous citez la France parmi ces pays. Voulez-vous dire que la France reste pour vous un pays ami ?Mais pourquoi pas ! On a un lien séculaire, historique, culturel avec la France, même économique. Si la France veut venir nous prêter main forte, elle est la bienvenue. Je pense qu'on n'a pas de problèmes avec la France.Est-ce qu'aujourd'hui, après ce qu'il s'est passé samedi dernier en Russie, vous avez intérêt à maintenir cette alliance militaire privilégiée avec la Russie, ou est-ce que vous avez intérêt à diversifier vos alliances militaires avec d'autres pays, pourquoi pas les États-Unis, pourquoi pas la France ?Tout le monde est bienvenu en République centrafricaine. Donc aujourd'hui, si d'autres États se manifestent pour venir nous prêter main forte, de manière sincère et de manière durable, nous, nous sommes disposés et disponibles pour les accueillir, ils sont les bienvenus.Oui, mais vous savez bien que les Américains et les Russes ne vont pas cohabiter sur votre territoire et que, lors du sommet États-Unis Afrique de Washington de décembre dernier, le président Biden a proposé un plan de sécurisation au président Touadéra, à condition que les Russes quittent la République centrafricaine…Ça, c'est vous qui le dites, mais nous avons des exemples sur le continent africain où ces deux États coopèrent et collaborent. Et je pense que le gouvernement centrafricain a travaillé sur le dossier, ça a déjà été transmis au niveau des États-Unis, donc nous attendons la suite. La République centrafricaine ne ferme pas la porte à qui que ce soit.Donc, vous n'avez pas fermé la porte à la proposition Biden, vous avez répondu à la proposition américaine ?Évidemment, puisqu'ils voudraient nous aider, est-ce qu'on doit dire non ? Et si la France veut nous aider, on ne dira pas non.

Pour la première fois depuis son entrée en fonction, Evariste Ndayishimiye accepte de donner une longue interview à des médias étrangers. Pour cela, il choisit RFI et France 24. Le président du Burundi est interrogé par l'envoyée spéciale de RFI à Kinshasa, Sonia Rolley, et par le correspondant de France 24 à Kinshasa, Clément Bonnerot. Il s'exprime notamment sur les droits de l'homme au Burundi, sur la reprise du dialogue avec l'UE et sur l'état des relations entre son pays et le Rwanda. RFI : Monsieur le président, vous venez de terminer une visite en République démocratique du Congo. Vous êtes beaucoup sorti de votre pays depuis un an, depuis le 18 juin 2020, une dizaine de fois. C'est une véritable rupture avec votre prédécesseur. En quoi est-ce important aujourd'hui pour le Burundi de s'ouvrir ? Évariste Ndayishimiye : D'abord chaque chose en son temps. Nous avons passé des moments très difficiles, des moments où le pays avait des difficultés parce qu'il lui a été imposé des sanctions injustement. Alors, à ce moment-là, quand le monde extérieur vous enferme, vous essayez de gérer la situation interne. Donc, depuis 2015, on essaie de tisser le tissu interne. Et après, quand nous avons vu la volonté d'ouverture, j'ai décidé d'organiser des dialogues avec nos partenaires extérieurs, mais aussi nous avons des amis que nous devrions visiter pour échanger pour nous harmoniser sur les points de vue de la situation politique de la région et au niveau international et aussi, nous avons des amis que nous devrions visiter pour échanger pour nous harmoniser sur les points de vue de situation politique de la région et au niveau international. Et aussi, s'inspirer de l'expérience des autres. Vous avez rencontré votre homologue Félix Tshisekedi. Vous avez notamment parlé des questions sécuritaires, il y a encore des groupes armés qui sont hostiles à votre régime, qui se trouvent dans l'est de la République démocratique du Congo. De quoi avez-vous parlé avec le président Félix Tshisekedi ? Qu'est-ce que vous avez décidé de faire ? D'abord, je me réjouis que les deux pays ne se reprochent rien. On n'a rien à reprocher au gouvernement congolais, le gouvernement congolais n'a rien à reprocher au gouvernement burundais. Ce sont des défis communs. Il est vrai qu'il y a des forces négatives qui sont même contraires au Burundi, mais nous savons les origines. Et ceux-là, comme je l'ai dit, ce ne sont pas des rejetés, ce ne sont pas des refoulés de la société burundaise, ce ne sont pas des rejetés de la société burundaise, ce sont des gens qui avaient peur d'abord en 2015, et qui ont fui vers le Rwanda, puis le Rwanda les a formés. Puis, comme ils ont échoué trois fois à attaquer le Burundi, ils ont préféré aller dans un endroit où ils sont libres, parce que, quand il y a l'instabilité à l'est du Congo, les forces négatives ont aussi l'opportunité de s'installer là. Parce que personne ne peut les attaquer. Et maintenant, avec la détermination du président congolais, qui est déterminé à ramener la paix à l'est du Congo, nous pensons que ces forces négatives pourront être anéanties et les membres pourront rejoindre leur pays, et se reformer dans leur esprit pour travailler ensemble avec les citoyens burundais. Nous avons espoir. Cela veut dire que vous envisagez une solution militaire, qu'un dialogue politique est possible avec ces groupes armés ? D'abord, ce sont des enfants de la nation. Ils n'ont pas de raisons politiques. Le Burundi est prêt à les recevoir et à les reformer dans l'esprit parce qu'ils ont besoin aussi d'être rééduqués pour avoir le même esprit que les autres citoyens honnêtes du pays. Pour ce qui est d'une solution militaire, est-ce qu'il est envisagé que l'armée burundaise participe à ces opérations ? On sait que le groupe d'experts a pointé en janvier le fait que parfois votre armée faisait des incursions. Dans quel cadre se font ces opérations ? Est-ce qu'il y a un droit de poursuite qui a été négocié ? D'abord, c'est faux, l'armée burundaise n'a jamais fait d'incursions en RDC. Je crois que ce sont des gens qui veulent discréditer le pays, qui veulent s'intercaler dans les bonnes relations entre le Burundais et la RDC. Sinon, avec l'armée burundaise qui a une expérience dans la lutte contre le terrorisme international, nous sommes prêts à aider. Mais vous n'avez pas abordé cette question avec le président Félix Tshisekedi ? On a parlé de cette question de sécurité. Mais, au niveau technique, nous devons étudier ensemble que faire pour anéantir ces forces négatives qui sont là. Sinon, on s'est entendu que nos officiers doivent travailler ensemble pour pouvoir chercher des stratégies afin de stabiliser cette région. Parmi les questions-clé, il y a aussi la question des réfugiés. Vos compatriotes, notamment ceux qui sont au Congo, mais pas seulement, ne souhaitent pas rentrer malgré des conditions qui sont très difficiles dans les camps de réfugiés et malgré des opérations de rapatriement volontaire. Que pouvez-vous faire de plus comme gestes pour restaurer la confiance avec cette population réfugiée ? La question des réfugiés dans la région des Grands Lacs est une question très complexe. Imaginez-vous, des citoyens congolais qui sont des réfugiés au Burundi et des Burundais qui sont réfugiés à l'est du Congo. J'ai vu comment les Burundais fouillaient, ils cherchaient des laisser-passer, des passeports et puis ils allaient en bus. C'est-à-dire que la forme de la question des réfugiés au Burundi n'est pas la forme normale. Ils savent que quand ils veulent retourner, ils savent qu'il n'y a pas de problèmes, comme quand ils sont partis aisément. Quand ils veulent revenir, c'est la même chose. Ce que nous faisons, c'est toujours les appeler à rejoindre leur patrie afin de vivre normalement comme les autres dans le pays. Parmi les mémorandums que vous avez signés avec le président Félix Tshisekedi, il y a celui pour la construction d'un chemin de fer entre Gitega et Kindu, qui doit mener jusqu'à la Tanzanie. Où en est ce projet ? Quand peut-on espérer voir ces travaux débuter ? Combien est-ce que ça va coûter ? Ce chemin de fer est important du fait qu'il faut qu'on désenclave l'est du Congo. Si vous voyez l'instabilité qui s'y trouve, c'est parce qu'il n'y a pas de voies de communication, les forces négatives sont libres de tout faire. S'il y a le chemin de fer, il y a la stabilisation, il y a la facilitation des échanges commerciaux, parce qu'il y a une voie de communication. Comme vous le savez, l'est du Congo depuis l'histoire, Bujumbura c'est comme leur capitale, ils s'approvisionnent à Bujumbura. Donc, ce sera très facile de faciliter ces échanges. Il y aura désenclavement de l'est du Congo, mais aussi le Burundi en profite parce que, nous aussi nous voulons être désenclavés par rapport à Dar es Salam, c'est-à-dire le pays aussi va avoir des facilités de libertés de mouvements des personnes et des biens. Et cela peut commencer quand ces travaux ? Pour les études de Uvinza à Gitega, c'est déjà terminé. Maintenant, on va ensemble finaliser les études de Gitega-Bujumbura-Uvira-Kindu. Quand on va finaliser les études, c'est là où l'on saura alors le chronogramme de mise en œuvre. Alors vous avez visité presque tous vos voisins, sauf le Rwanda. Pourtant, il y a un processus de normalisation entre vos deux pays. Où en est ce processus et quand peut-on espérer avoir une de vos visites au Rwanda ou une visite de votre homologue Paul Kagame au Burundi ? Je crois que nous avançons très bien sur cette question. D'abord, vous le savez, le Rwanda et le Burundi, je le dis souvent, nous sommes des cousins. Dans notre culture, les cousins se dérangent souvent. Alors, j'ai vu qu'il y a une évolution positive, parce que d'abord, à la frontière commune, les officiers, les commandants des unités de défense se sont rencontrés plusieurs fois maintenant. Et sur la question de sécurité, je vois que ça évolue positivement. Le Premier ministre du Rwanda est venu célébrer avec nous la fête d'indépendance nationale. Et j'ai déjà envoyé le ministre des Affaires étrangères qui est allé au Rwanda. Je vois même que les messages sont positifs ; qu'il y a espoir que dans un proche avenir, il pourrait y avoir une solution finale. Il y a un autre partenaire avec lequel vous avez repris le dialogue après cinq années d'interruption, c'est l'Union européenne. Je rappelle que l'Union européenne, c'était le plus grand bailleur du Burundi. Où est-on de ce dialogue ? Nous avons déjà avancé le dialogue avec l'Union européenne. Au niveau des ambassades, de la représentation à Bujumbura, je vois que nous évoluons très bien maintenant. Nous attendons la réunion décisive qui va être organisée en Europe et nous espérons que cela va vite se terminer. Parmi les demandes de l'Union européenne, il y a le fait que la situation des droits de l'homme s'améliore et que la bonne gouvernance s'améliore également. Qu'est-ce que vous faites concrètement pour faire avancer ces deux dossiers ? Le gouvernement a la responsabilité de protéger les droits de l'homme et la bonne gouvernance, c'est notre cheval de bataille. Donc, s'ils disent nous voulons la protection des droits humains, ils vont nous dire où sont les défauts et comme ça, on va étudier ensemble pour voir ; sinon, la vision est commune. Nous voulons tous la protection des droits de l'homme, nous voulons tous la bonne gouvernance. Alors, je ne vois pas d'où peut venir la discordance et les divergences de vue. Je pense que l'Union européenne a pris cette décision unilatéralement et maintenant, il est temps de revoir cette décision sinon je ne vois pas les raisons de ces sanctions contre le Burundi. Il y a quand même des arrestations d'opposants, notamment ceux du parti d'Agathon Rwasa, leader du Congrès national pour la liberté (CNL). Cela inquiète encore beaucoup les organisations de défense des droits de l'homme ? C'est un problème historique. Des criminels veulent toujours se cacher dans des partis politiques. Quand on est criminel, on est criminel. Il n'y a pas de parti politique, il n'y pas quoi que ce soit.  Plutôt, il faudrait dire : celui-là a été arrêté, est-ce que c'est politique, ou c'est criminel ? Donc ce que nous faisons, c'est rendre effectivement l'État de droit. Si vous êtes criminel, nous avons l'obligation de protéger les citoyens, de poursuivre et de juger les criminels. Mais parfois, ces opposants disparaissent, parfois pendant plusieurs jours, n'ont pas accès à un avocat pour les assister. C'est ça aussi l'État de droit, c'est de pouvoir être assisté d'un avocat, quand on est accusé de quelque chose. En tout cas, à ce que je sache, il n'y a pas de disparitions au Burundi. Sinon, vous me diriez : « Telle personne est disparue ». Ce que je sais aussi, c'est qu'il y a des criminels, qui, une fois commis leur crime, vont au Rwanda. Et nous n'avons pas le droit d'aller fouiller au Rwanda. Vous savez qu'il y a 19 criminels qui ont saccagé des familles et qui ont tué des personnes à Kayanza, et après, ils ont fui vers le Rwanda. Et jusqu'à présent, ils sont au Rwanda. Les gens disent qu'ils ont disparu, mais je sais qu'ils sont quelque part. D'après les derniers chiffres de la Banque mondiale de 2020, vous héritez d'un pays qui est l'un des plus pauvres. Il y a des pénuries de biens de première nécessité, des pénuries en devises. Que pouvez-vous faire pour lutter contre ces pénuries ? D'abord, je sais que c'est une chanson qui s'inscrit dans une rhétorique pour que les citoyens ne soient pas bien dans leurs esprits. Imaginez un pays qui n'importe jamais de denrées alimentaires. Est-ce un pays très pauvre ? Aujourd'hui, nous avons pu avoir la surproduction de maïs, demain nous aurons la surproduction de riz, etc. Si les gens mangent, si les gens sont soignés, si les enfants vont à l'école, si les gens sont logés, ont de l'eau potable, que nous manque-t-il ? En fait, la Banque mondiale et le FMI comptent l'argent, et nous, nous comptons les besoins. Les citoyens ont-ils des besoins élémentaires ? S'ils n'ont pas d'argent, pourvu qu'ils mangent. Vous avez vu qu'au niveau même de la maîtrise du coronavirus, le Burundi fait partie des meilleurs pays qui ont pu prévenir le Covid-19. Une des critiques des bailleurs, c'est le niveau élevé de corruption. Vous avez pris quelques sanctions, il y a eu des arrestations. Mais la société civile souligne que ces arrestations sont souvent suivies de libérations peu après. Peut-être, et sans doute avec un remboursement. C'est en tout cas ce qui est avancé. Pourquoi ne pas faire tout ça dans la transparence et faire ces procédures de manière publique pour que chacun sache ce qui est rendu ? Je crois qu'il y a des personnes qui se réjouissent quand il y a des tensions dans la société. Quand il y a beaucoup d'arrestations, ceux-là sont contents, quand ils voient que les prisons sont pleines, ceux-là sont contents. Souvenez-vous : la société civile burundaise, ce sont des gens qui ont échoué dans la politique. Qui s'enfuient pour se cacher derrière la société civile, mais ils continuent à faire de la politique, à montrer à la communauté internationale qu'ils sont des hommes honnêtes. Alors que ce sont eux même qui sont corrompus. Je connais des gens qui ont des associations de lutte contre la corruption, qui sont eux-mêmes des gens corrompus qui planifient comment voler, et, ensemble, avec certains cadres (de l'administration). Ce sont la société civile qui volent. Nous avons une histoire propre au Burundi. Nous sommes en train de rétablir la société burundaise, nous sommes en train de réconcilier. Alors dans tout cela, il y avait des mauvaises habitudes au départ. Aujourd'hui, nous sommes en train de mettre tout sur les rails, ce qui fait qu'il y a des gens qui ne sont pas contents, et d'autres qui le sont. Vous pensez vraiment qu'avec cette méthode, d'arrêter temporairement des gens responsables de détournements, et de les forcer à un remboursement, vous allez arriver à mettre fin à ces mauvaises habitudes ? C'est une stratégie qu'on a prise. Avant, les gens disaient : « Je vais détourner, si on me met en prison, à mon retour, je vais consommer ce que j'ai volé ». Mais maintenant, il est puni et il rembourse. Donc ça décourage, parce qu'il sait qu'il ne va rien gagner. Alors maintenant, vous avez vu que j'ai mis en place un système de communication, où les citoyens dénoncent. Et quand ils dénoncent, on doit savoir où ça s'est passé. Quand les gens savent qu'ils n'ont pas d'intérêt à détourner ou à être corrompus, ils vont être découragés, ils vont laisser.

Evariste Ndayishimiye a été reçu ce mardi par Félix Tshisekedi à la Cité de l'Union africaine. Le Chef de l'Etat burundais était arrivé la veille à Kinshasa. Les deux parties ont échangé sur des questions d'intérêt commun sur le plan bilatéral, sous-régional et continental.  « C'était un riche entretien. Nos peuples sont liés par la géographie, la culture, la langue et une communauté de destin commun. Nous n'avons pas des reproches à se faire entre nous. J'en suis heureux. Nous avons des défis communs », a dit le président Burundais. L'une des questions fondamentales sur la table, c'est la sécurité. « Nous avons convenu de collaborer sur le plan sécuritaire surtout au niveau des frontières communes pour éradiquer les forces négatives qui endeuillent les pays et sabotent le développement ».  Le Chef de l'Etat burundais était notamment accompagné de deux Ministres dont Albert Shingiro des affaires étrangères et de la coopération au développement et de Alain Tribert Mutabazi de la Défense Nationale et des anciens combattants. L'autre volet important concerne les infrastructures. « En construisant le chemin de fer qui reliera la capitale économique du Burundi à Kindu en passant Bujumbura, Uvira, Bukavu, Kamituga, les deux pays auront accompli un grand pas vers le rayonnement socioéconomique, en améliorant la libre circulation des biens et des personnes », a ajouté le président Burundais.  Les deux pays ont décidé de relancer la grande commission mixte de coopération pour que les accords signés antérieurement et ceux signés aujourd'hui puissent être mis en application.

Chef du principal parti d’opposition, Agathon Rwasa rejette ces résultats qu’il trouve « fantaisistes ». « Le pays retient son souffle », lance Iwacu. Pour l’heure, ce journal burundais en ligne médite sur « la parabole du semeur », biblique référence aux ultimes déclarations du président sortant Pierre Nkurunziza, qui ne se représentait pas, et qui a invité le perdant à « accepter d’être deuxième, avec un message d’espoir à son intention : « Après une mauvaise récolte, il faut continuer, avancer ». De nouveaux partenaires pour l’armée française dans le Sahel : les unités spéciales antiterroristes, à l’effectif plein de mystères : Le journal Libération livre quelques informations sur la composition deux des cinq unités qui doivent être crées pour épauler la force militaire française Barkhane. Selon ce quotidien français, la première unité spéciale antiterroriste « ne comprendra finalement que des soldats maliens réguliers, non issus des groupes armés ». Ce quotidien burkinabè, toutefois, estime qu’on aurait tort de penser « qu’il suffit de battre monnaie pour que nos pays décollent à la vitesse d’une fusée ». An Ashoka Fellow and previous French Teacher, Evariste Aohoui started PARO-CI in 2011 because he was tired of how dirty Abidjan was. Initially, they did small and specific activities like cleanups as volunteers, taking the opportunity to sensitise people about keeping the environment clean.  Later on is when they started to focus on e-waste and today, they recycle electronic equipment that would otherwise turn into waste. After the crew discovered that the Pirate’s Ball was much more. . . festive than they expected, they quickly found themselves fighting for their lives against assassin squads from rival pirate kings looking to make themselves the strongest on the seven seas.  With some quick thinking, they were able to avoid death with grappling hooks and a few barrels of black powder.  As the dust settles, however, they find themselves in the sewers below the manor, and the sounds of inquisitors is not far off. The crew of the Fantoma Reine all too eagerly found a way into the Grand Pirate Ball after they found out their invitations were. . . lost.  Following some time shopping in Montaigne for goods and fine clothes to hide some weapons, they managed to bluff their way into the party past a very familiar and ungrateful bouncer.  The company was found to be supreme, the food delicious, and all of the weapons carried openly and used freely. The crew of the Fantoma Reine find themselves at the island of Klørbulg after a request from the leader of the Bodilsfolk.  They are asked to remove an outside, an Ussuran Prince from a recently opened ancient Syrneth tomb in order to prevent his presence from starting a civil war.  If they can carry out this favor, they will have the absolute commitment of the Bodilsfolk, and may have some sway with the Tilletsfolk, and a vital vote with the Vesten High Council in avoiding a long-standing and bloody conflict with Vendel.   Note: This episode was recorded with Mumble’s multitrack recorder and it just randomly decides to desync audio tracks.  I did my best to keep everything aligned but a track still sometimes goes a second out of sync.  We decided to stop using Mumble after this episode.
