*Executive Producer - Jeremiah Higgins LA Giltinis Adam Ashe is in The Sports Lounge with Big Lou! Adam Ashe was born in Scotland and has been a mainstay of Scottish rugby for much of the past decade. The no. 8 attended Alva Academy and it was with Ayr in the Scottish Premiership where he found his first senior opportunity. His potential was quickly noticed by Glasgow and he was signed as a development player with the Warriors in 2011. He debuted for Glasgow in 2012 and also found international opportunities with the Scotland 7s during the 2011-12 series as a teenager. A year later, he was picked for the Scotland U20s, picked in all the team's Six Nations matches and a further five World Rugby U20s matches. Ashe was recognised as one of Scotland's top prospects when he was awarded the John McPhail Scholarship in 2014 and given the chance to train in New Zealand with Canterbury for 15 weeks. However, midway through that period, he was given the opportunity to join Vern Cotter's Scotland Test side. He debuted against South Africa in that year's June Series, starting at no. 8 and playing the full match. Ashe has won six Test caps overall, most recently against Italy in 2015. Injuries have at times hampered Ashe's progress but he had featured in 34 matches for the Warriors before departing at the end of the interrupted 19-20 Pro14 season. Ashe showed his class for the Giltinis in 2021 with his all-round skills as a powerful runner, linkman and lineout option before a ruptured bicep ended his season early. A frontline asset for 2022 when fit. www.lagiltinis.com Adam Ashe Social: Instagram - @adamashe_ Twitter - @Adam Ashe

DALLAS, TX - There's been some crazy stuff coming from the boardroom here at Major League Rugby HQ. In a stunning series of announcements centered around the Wild, Wild, West, both the Austin Gilgronis and L.A. Giltinis (two of the MLR's best teams) now find themselves disqualified from the playoffs, as per alleged violations. While we gear up for a scorched-Earth legal battle, the post-season is still on the docket, albeit with different teams. Houston will now have a bye and host the winner of Seattle (at home) vs San Diego. Fittingly, the latter teams have a storied playoff history... Joining Big Lou in The Sports Lounge Today - Special Guest: Dave Dennis! Born and raised in Western Sydney, Dave Dennis is one of the most respected figures in NSW rugby history. Dennis was picked for the Australian school's side in 2004, the beginning of a long and decorated representative career. The lock/backrower made his Super Rugby debut for the Waratahs in 2007 and was a mainstay of the team for the better part of a decade beyond that. His form in Super Rugby earned him a Test debut in June 2012, with Dennis featuring against Scotland and going on to play 18 Tests over 18 months. He most recently played for the Wallabies against Wales in Cardiff in 2013. Dennis was appointed Waratahs captain in 2013 but poor fortune struck in the 2014 season with the much-loved NSW figure suffering a season-ending knee injury. That setback meant Dennis had to watch on as the Waratahs collected their first, and only to this point, Super Rugby championship. After 107 games for the Waratahs, Dennis moved to the UK at the end of the 2016 season. The forward found success in England, playing for the Chiefs in the Premiership. Exeter won the competition in his first season with the club and featured heavily in the European and English tournaments during his four seasons with the Premiership powerhouse. Dennis proved an inspiring signing to captain the Giltinis in their debut season. He set standards both as a durable, high-performing forward and as a fine leader of men. Special Guest Billy Meakes - LA Giltinis -Centre, joins Big Lou In The Sports Lounge! Billy Meakes made a huge success of his debut season with the Giltinis and will be a key figure again in 2022. Meakes grew up on Sydney's northern beaches and attended rugby nursery St Joseph's College Hunters Hill. The centre was a part of the 2011 Australia U20s team that finished third at the U20s World Championships. Meakes had to wait for his professional opportunity after stints in Sydney's Shute Shield club competition. Eventually, his chance came abroad. In 2013, Meakes moved to England and began playing with local side Clifton in Bristol City. Later that year, Meakes joined Gloucester, first on an academy contract and then as a fully-fledged squad player. After nearly three seasons with Gloucester, playing under Aussie Laurie Fisher, Meakes was granted a release to return to Australia and play with the Western Force. Meakes' UK experience showed in his Super Rugby return and he quickly made a stamp on the Southern Hemisphere competition. Meakes' form with the Force put him on the Wallabies radar. In 2018, Meakes was among a host of Force players who moved to Melbourne in the wake of the axing of the WA side from Super Rugby. Meakes continued to perform for the Rebels, though some injuries interrupted his 2018 and 2019 seasons. Meakes finished 2020 on a short-term deal with London Irish. Meakes was named MLR's Back of the Year in rousing recognition of his influence as a forceful runner, hard-on-the-ball jackal, strong defender, and key figure in attack. Just how valuable he is was demonstrated when he played a match-winning role as an emergency flanker in a win over the San Diego Legion. Rugby PickEm

Play Episode Listen Later Nov 12, 2021 14:34

With the release of the 2022 Major League Rugby season, fans can now decide where to spend their hard earned money come early February. Last year, with the pandemic, and other unknowns throwing wrenches into just about every teams planning, the season started later, and some teams were not able to host fans for the first few months. But 2022 offers a fresh beginning to what will be another banger of an MLR season. A few takeaways from the schedule ... 1) Warm weather cities get first home advantage The AG's host 6 of their first 8 games (and thus travel for 6 of the remaining 8 to end the year). This can work wonders for teams that want to get a hot start and a foothold in the table. Texas weather in February tends to be quite nice (pending random cold fronts that have been known to tax the energy grid), so Rugby PickEm may be looking to catch the opener come Feb 5. 2) Three seeds for each conference (with a built in bye to the semis) Six out of the 13 teams will make the playoffs in 2022. The Eastern division will field 6 teams, whereas the Western division will field 7. Does this make it harder to make the playoffs in the West? Statistically speaking, perhaps ... but we have to see which conference looks more powerful after about 4 weeks worth of gameplay (we'll check back in on East v West in March). Last year the East was significantly stronger than the West top to bottom. Will it be the same this year? How serious will Dallas' first year squad be? Another significant change: Number 1 seeds will get a bye week straight into the Semi Finals. The built in bye week for the 1st seeds will hopefully incite competition down to the very final week. The Giltinis had won the west in 2021 with about 4 weeks to go. They essentially ran away with it. Perhaps adding another team into the playoffs will keep those teams in the middle of the table more competitive towards the latter end of the year. 3) Playoffs in June Love this. Why wait until July where Eagles and other test players are being taken away from their teams? This will allow national selectors to hone in on the final weeks of the regular season and playoffs to see which young players are able to throw their hand up and demand selection in big games. The spotlight creates pressure, and from pressure you get diamonds. Let's hope a few diamonds reveal themselves in the buildup to a crucial RWC qualifying summer in 2022. Three Teams, One Cup The Texas Cup is a Rugby PickEm favorite event. However, we did have to educate Tommy NoPiks on what "Cup Matches" actually entail. With Dallas' entry into the fold (officially this time), there are now more possibilities than ever with 3 teams actively vying for the illustrious hardware throughout the year. Can Dallas get their hands on it in week 1 against a strong AG's side? Hoisting the Texas Cup would certainly be a great way to start a franchise (officially this time). If Austin wins the opener, there won't be a follow up Texas Cup game until 8 weeks later when the Houston SaberCats roll into Bold Stadium on April 3rd. BUT .... if somehow Dallas does the improbable and beats the AG's, they'll have to defend the Texas Cup just two weeks later. If the MLR is nailing anything, it's slick schedule releases in the middle of the offseason ... and the glorious Texas Cup. PICKEM!

HOLLYWOOD, CA – Purely from an upset perspective, This was Rocky Balboa beating Apollo Creed. That was a movie, though. The depleted NOLA Gold beating the star-studded L.A. Giltinis was no motion picture. Yet, in the shadows of the Hollywood sign, this ragtag team of unknows went into the Coliseum and slayed the home team. Think Davy vs Goliath. The USA over Russia in the 1980 Olympic Games. It's too farfetched a scenario, even for a suspension-of-reality movie. And if that win wasn't enough, the Major League Rugby weekend was jam-packed with subplots… Just ask New England Free Jacks fans, whose team – dressed in red, white and blue – repelled the enemy just outside Boston on Independence Day. And then there was a team named Old Glory beaten by a team from Canada – on a spectacular play by rejuvenated scrumhalf…. But enough reading. Episode 332 – Find More Joy   One of the biggest things that kept me drinking as I long as I did was that shame circle.  I would drink, do something stupid, embarrass myself, feel terrible and then drink again because I couldn't handle my feelings.    Brett is 27 years old, lives in San Francisco, CA and took her last drink on January 2, 2020.  This is her journey of living alcohol free (AF).      If you love our intro and outro music then check out the artist DJ NYE on Spotify, and that link is in the show notes. Also in the show notes are links to download, for free, our intro and outro music, That's with my voice sampling and ET Tolle's voice samplings.   DJ NYE on Spotify.   Intro and Outro Music. This Thursday, July 1st, is the start date of our intensive 13 session course for the month of July. We meet three times per week, Monday, Thursday and Sunday. Mondays and Thursdays are classroom style format, with intimate breakout rooms and Sundays are for guest speakers, Q&A, and we've for an AF Beverage workshop hosted by Kate (episode 315). We polled previous course participants and 72% of them remained alcohol free for the duration of our last course. How cool is that. Go to Recoveryelevator.com/restore or click the link in the show notes, to sign up and for more info.   And don't forget that land tortoises are the longest living animals on the planet and that TIB is still the best band in the world. One of those is fact, the other opinion but for the most part undebatable.     Okay, let's get started -   I'm going to cover two things today. 1. The importance of purposefully adding more joy into your life and 2. Recently while traveling, I came across the most vicious sports mascot ever. I still get goosebumps when I think of the deadly mascot.   Okay, let's talk about joy. And this may seem like common sense, but it's not because so many of us postpone, skip, or have forgotten about joy altogether. Like the “how to” part.  And now seems like a good time to insert a quote about joy.   “Joy does not simply happen to us - we have to choose joy and keep choosing it every day.” - Henri Nouwen   Let's look at a sample to do list. Drop package off at post office. Return mortgage papers to lender Take Ben to Vet Edit website copy for upcoming event. Play piano.   Now this may or may not be my to do list,  and yours may be similar,  And I'm referring to the order. I've got playing the piano last. We tell ourselves we need to get all the grown-up tasks done first. Kids, job, house, feeding the family, pets, why didn't my sprinklers turn on last night, then last on that list is US.   Here's my HARD ask of you. Make a point to do something every day that you find joyful. And here's the important part. Do it first. Before all the other stuff that has the potential to zap all the creative energy out of you.   About 3 months ago, I stared taking piano lessons. I went from chop sticks to now I can the Scientist and Clocks on the piano by Coldplay. Can't sing them yet because that's some major rubbing your tummy and patting your head type sh$t, but I'm working on it. At first, I would practice piano at the end of the day, when my mind was sometimes ready for a nap, and the mind is in high beta brain waves… borderline stressed from the day.   It worked, but some days I had to force it. Then I flipped the to-do list. I started playing the piano first thing in the morning. Before all the adulting took place. Here's what I found. When we do something we enjoy, there's a natural creative energy that arises, that makes things tolerable, even pleasant. Here's the important part. This energy, consciousness, will then overlap into the next task or project. I quickly found I was more effective at all remaining tasks for the day, and they all became more joyful. So, I try to practice piano or music every morning. This flip has had a big impact on my quality of life.   Let's tie this into sobriety. When we are doing something we enjoy, we enter into a flow state where time and our problems seem do disappear. Flow states, or when we are fully mentally immersed in a task, are healthy because we aren't thinking about how the F, we're going to quit drinking. Another way to say this, is the neural connections that fortify an addiction begin to soften and something else is strengthened, be it gardening, reading, hiking, or whatever. Again, our mental energies aren't “in” the addiction, or the “story.” You're like - “A crap, this guy is back with his getting out of the story stuff again.” And for the record, this will be the 245th time I've said you can't think yourself out of an addiction.   Joy solo is great, for example playing the violin. But if you have the option, play the violin with another violinist, or a cellist - bonus points.   You know how most dogs are a nudge away from playing? That's how human beings are as well, we're just living a life that's been filled with so much muck and noise that we must make a point, and effort to get back to this natural state.   If you're like, “Hey Pablo” I recently quit drinking, and I have no clue what I like to do for fun anymore. Well, that's the work. Find out again. Rule 22. Have fun and lighten up.   Okay, one more thing I want to cover, and I'm trembling with fear while I write this. On my way back from our Atlanta Meet-up, thank you Alan (episode 267) for such an awesome weekend, I saw a bunch of large dudes, in the security line at the airport. They were all wearing matching jackets,  and sweatpants, so I assumed they were part of a sports team that probably involves physical contact. On the crest of the jacket was the logo… the mascot. When I finally saw it, I stopped dead in my tracks. It was as if I was frozen, unresponsive. No, it wasn't a ferocious eagle, hawk, wolf, shark, or bear, it something much worse, much deadlier, something that would perhaps cause the other team to not even take the field. I can image players on the other team saying, my uncle died from that beast,  their mascot has destroyed my family, and so forth. So, what's the mascot? It was Martini glass. It was the professional Los Angeles Rugby team “The Giltinis.” If you want to pick a mascot that leaves a devastating wake of wreckage on society,  well then, they nailed it, because my google search of has an “eagle” or “hawk” ever killed a human being, came up with nil. But alcohol on the other hand….   Okay, now let's here from Betterhelp and then we'll here from Brett.   Today's show is sponsored by Better Help.    Mental health matters, and as we continue to live through this pandemic and slowly go back to resuming activities such as going back to work or attending some social gatherings, it's important to have someone that can help us process all our emotions and life stressors. She looked up to her sister, she was so cool, and Brett wanted to be part of the crowd.   At 14-15, alcohol became a social thing.   She went to a small Quaker school and early exposure to alcohol came from older siblings. Peer pressure was a big thing. Alcohol was a staple at all the parties.    Brett thought everyone was blacking out and it wasn't until age 21 that she understood you could drink without blacking out.  Her parents would pick her up from parties, then ground her and make her write essays on alcohol, how it was made, where it came from, etc.    [16:41] Where was your heart and your emotional state?   Brett said the cycle of shame kept her drinking for a long time.   She would drink, do something stupid, embarrass herself, feel terrible and then drink again because she couldn't handle her feelings.  She was going through a lot as a kid and has since been diagnosed as bipolar 2.  She was experiencing all those symptoms as a kid and didn't know what to do with them.  She was scared and wondering what was wrong with her, but not sure what.  She was also rebellious.   Value Bomb – Emotional regulation is something we don't learn about early enough.   [19:34] What happened after high school?   Brett said during her junior year, her dream was to get as far away from Rhode Island as possible (a geographic).  She applied to Hawaii Pacific University but ended up at Loyola in Baltimore because nobody from her school was going there.  It was the party school and Brett had a fake ID and she was the party girl.  She had good friends, nothing bad happened and she achieved a 4.0 GPA.  She transferred to Northeastern and found a good group of drinking friends.  She had her first depressive episode and called her mom during  a complete panic attack.  The school psychiatrist suggested she had bipolar 2.  She was in denial.  She tried to manage her ups and downs with alcohol and cocaine.  She really hurt some people during her episodes and needs to make amends.   [23:02] Can you walk us through what a bipolar cycle is like for you?   Brett said, bipolar is difficult to diagnose for many reasons and it presents differently for different people.  Her alcohol and cocaine use augmented the ups and downs and made diagnosis more challenging.  Brett's experience was feeling exhausted, tired, and unable to get out of bed.  She would rather pee in a cup than go to the bathroom.  She had muscle soreness and lots of tears, crying for no reason.  Suicidal ideation would come 2-3 days in, and she would circle a drain of worthlessness.  The booze turned the dial up and made the episodes longer. She also had blips of hypomania including high bursts of energy, talking fast and urgent shopping among other things.  She wasn't ready to hear about her diagnosis, but had challenges functioning and felt shame and guilt as a result.  She went to a dual-diagnosis rehab, which was very freeing for her.   [28:36] What led you to rehab?   Brett said she frequently texted her family members accusing them of not loving or caring about her.  In 2020, she messaged her parents, and her parents became alarmed.  Her mom called, bought her a plane ticket, and offered to come pick her up.  Her Mom was researching rehab programs.  Brett had severe withdrawal symptoms and called the rehab to understand the rules.  She described getting to the airport 12 hours early because she had no concept of time.  She did go to the ER to address her withdrawal symptoms.  A few days later they were in the car on the way to a rehab in Massachusetts.    Brett said the life she built for herself in 15 months of sobriety is what she always wanted when she was drinking and using.  She had been drinking and using for 15 years.  She appreciates how wild, weird, and wonderful that is.   [34:20] How long were you in rehab?   Brett said for two weeks, and she would go back if she could.   The food was amazing, and the staff was talented and supportive.  She said it saved her life and she enjoyed most of it.  Insurance only covered two weeks.  Brett wondered why things had to get so bad that she to put her life on hold to get better.  Figuring out the fundamental things has prompted her to check in with herself daily.  She said we can't be afraid to prioritize ourselves.    [40:00] How was leaving rehab and what was it like for the next 30 days?   Brett said after treatment she went home to her parents' home for over a month.  She took time away from work and it was a safe bubbled space.  She explored AA and Smart Recovery meetings.  She returned to work part time.  Upon returning to San Francisco, she entered her bedroom and the whole room was in shambled.  There were bottles and mess everywhere because she was in a blackout when she left.  It was hard, but not triggering.  She took it slow and found a therapist and a psychiatrist.  After the pandemic hit, she turned to Instagram.  She found Carla and Sober IRL (https://www.soberirl.com/) and that kickstarted her desire to stay sober.   She continued the medications that were prescribed at rehab and the medication journey was a short one.    [43:30] What tools worked for you?   Brett said in the beginning fear of withdrawal was a huge motivator.  As she got more time, AA meetings, podcasts (Café RE and Recovery Happy Hour), reading (This Naked Mind, The Four Agreements) and the Instagram community helped.  Brett said when you put yourself out there, people take you into their arms and help you find your people.    [46:36] What helped you overcome cravings?   Brett said she didn't have any physical cravings.  The itchiness with herself can be triggering and she learned to play the tape forward in rehab.  She leverages her sponsor, exercise, and leverages TIP exercises (https://dialecticalbehaviortherapy.com/distress-tolerance/tipp/) and baths/showers and cries.  Saying out loud she wants a drink and getting it out of her head gives it less power.    [49:42] What is your favorite NA beverage?   Brett said her current favorite is the Mikkeller Limbo Raspberry NA beer.   [53:10] Rapid Fire Round   If you could talk to your younger self, what would you say. I'm proud of you, it's going to be okay.   What's a lightbulb moment Sleep is restful   What's an unexpected perk of being sober? More money, disposable income   What's your favorite ice cream flavor? Ben & Jerry's Tonight dough   What parting piece of guidance do you have for listeners? Just do it, you are worth it!    You may have to say Adios to booze if … You have accumulated so much debt, you must Venmo borrow from yourself to get alcohol.    Odette's Summary   Odette reflects upon a recent reading of Gabor Mate where he says, ‘we continue to treat people who struggle with addiction poorly.  If you think about it, addiction is not a problem.   Addiction is a solution to a problem: our trauma, our suppressed emotions, our unhealed pain.'  Odette is grateful that Recovery Elevator is part of the solution.  We see you and we are here for you.  It all starts from the inside out.     Upcoming events, retreats, and courses: Bozeman 2021 (August 18-22, 2021) registration opens March 1! If there's any city in the world to spend just 12 hours in, Los Angeles is right up there. The urban can be intimidating, but with limited time we went straight to the beach ... Venice Beach to be precise. It was going to be a Gilly type of weekend, so naturally we had to find ourselves a pub or two that served this Legendary Lager. Our server Slater at the Whaler was kind enough to give us good tasting notes before we got our first pitcher, and man ... there's just something about this Legendary Lager that hits just right. Crisp, bold, legendary. Flash forward 4 hours later ...Tyler's shoulders are completely sunburned, and we are in the Uber to SoFi stadium. The fact that we were blessed to be the first fans to witness live sport in this stadium was truly remarkable. I'm not sure why, but I feel like I'll be an 80 year old man telling anyone who will listen about (cue the old man voice ...) "back in '21 .... my friend Tyler and I headed to LA to watch those Legendary Giltinis christen SoFi stadium ... you know they used to call is SoFi back then ?! ..." There's just something about the way it's designed that makes your jaw drop. Once we got in, we had no choice but to get our hands on some Gilly merch. The all white bucket hat will be a staple of my summer attire, and we can't thank the Gilly's Girls enough. They ramped up the energy in the stadium throughout the night, and brought the true passion needed to properly rep the brand. They rugby was great, and if the rugby traditionalists are going to whinge about the football lines, they can eat it. For all the shit that Gilly has copped from the American rugby audience since he purchased the two franchises, let's remember this .... He's creating access for new rugby fans. Ticket giveaways and the lure of enjoying a match in places like the Coliseum and Sofi create buzz. Random people end up at the games who would have never thought to if they weren't prompted (just listen to the audio podcast, we interviewed at least 4 different groups of people who were enjoying their first ever rugby match). He's bringing in legit overseas talent. This is the part where some people would prefer to see more Americans play. But the high bar of talent helps raise the overall level of play, and a rising tide lifts all boats (oh and Sir William Meakes is an absolute gun). He's bankrolling multiple academy sides in L.A. & Austin. I would bet my money that both of these cities produce numerous new eagles over the next decade. The coaches that have come from Australia will help speed up the development of American coaches in L.A. and Austin. It's the rapidity of developing grassroots rugby in these areas that excites me. When the USA secure the 2031 Rugby World Cup hosting bid (yes that's right I said WHEN not IF), ol' Gilly will be a major reason why it happened. So you whingers can thank him then! Back to the boots on the ground adventure .... How could we not mention our legendary halftime interview with Ben Affleck's white whale .... the one and only Nivine Jay. Even though the score line at the final whistle made it look close, it was all Giltinis all night. The Gilly Experience was truly one to remember. Tyler and I ended up walking back from SoFi to LAX (yes, it was a dumb idea and took way too long so eventually we had to jog ... which wasn't pleasant), and got to our gate just in time to hop on the flight back to Denver. Special thanks to Tyler Grant for saying yes to dumb ideas! Next stop on the Rugby PickEm Boots on the Ground tour of 2021 is the Texas Cup on June 5th. Can Houston snatch back the cup at home? Will Rugby PickEm regular caller (720-259-8825) Frankie Ruggs from Houston be in attendance? Will Gilly himself make an appearance? Stay tuned. PICKEM!

Tyler Grant was born and raised in Arkansas. He has never been to Los Angeles, yet tomorrow night's red eye trip to LA to watch the top of the table Giltinis host the Warriors as they christen SoFi stadium's first live sporting event with fans seemed like a good idea to him when offered the chance. When the big announcement came that the Giltinis would be playing in Stan Kroenke's new mexa-pleg, I applauded their effort to go "next level" in this 2021 season. You really only get one chance to bounce back in a big way after a 100 year pandemic, and they have delivered with big performances on big stages. But Utah is hot, and they will back themselves to fight for a spot in the Western Conference Final. Could this game be a preview of the WCF? There's no shortage of Major League Rugby content these days. Not just on The Rugby Network (which we have sincerely and thoroughly enjoyed each week since the season started), but all over the Rugby Media Industrial Complex (RMIC). This week's media review has to be ... The Rugby Clubhouse. The rugby world could not have been blessed with better complimenting accents for this show set in a rugby pub (via the internet ... but it still looks like a sweet set and after a while it just feels like you're having out with Fodes and Mikey). Commish was a guest for The Rugby Clubhouse. He has been making the rounds and I love it. A couple things I learned ...., he's definitely on the same page with Rugby PickEm's #operation2031 and he knows that a confirmed hosting of the 2031 RWC would shoot this league into the stratosphere. He also acknowledged that the league has to generate more revenue in order to increase the teams' salary caps. That's done by maximizing your traditional gameday revenue (asses in seats, merch flying of the shelf, and providing real exposure for your long term sponsors). Provide value. To the die hard fan, to the average fan, to the sponsor partners, to the league as a whole. That should be the front office goals around the league. He is also pushing the teams to have the players last names on the back of the jersey. I'm all for anything that helps engage the average American sporting fan, but the rugby traditionalist (apparently Tommy No Piks is one of them) will roll in their graves when they see something that's different and straying from the norm. But why pass up easy opportunities to boost revenues. We gotta turn these quirky international footy stars (aka the Giltinis roster) into mega stars over here in the states ... where sports fanaticism has no bounds. "To A Man" (a Killebrew classic line), he is a phenomenal commissioner, and we're happy that he's steering the helm of the League. After all, you only get one shot at launching a pro rugby league .... (Sorry Dougie, but we can never forget). Every time I hear Commish talk, I learn something new and insightful. We are fully behind our Commish and hope he continues his media tour pretty much forever. Some other great MLR podcasts that I'd currently recommend are Road to Glory and W Nation. PICKEM!
