Greetings, Citizens! After a week off and a trip to Chicago for Dan we're back with Episode 101. This week Dan talks about his experience hanging out in Chicago with the Leftover Army at C2E2. While he was there he also recorded the full panel for #TheBoysTV as well as the Q&A portion of #TheUmbrellaAcademy panel. One of our own makes an appearance as Kevin Shanks steps to the mic to ask a hard-hitting question about shoes. No, really. Don't press "STOP" after the show as both of the panels are attached at the end. We've timestamped those for you to make it easier to find. We also take some time to talk a little about the Coronavirus. We're no experts. We're just talking about some real shit and if anyone gets anything positive out of this (hopefully not a test result), then we've done our jobs. As far as what we've been watching, we have both seen The Invisible Man starring Elizabeth Moss as well as Color Out of Shape with Nicholas Cage and we give our thoughts and reviews on both of them. Dan also gives a very quick review of Dave, Lil Dicky's new series on FXX. Thanks for your patience last week and we certainly hope you enjoy this week's episode. If you're new to us or were at C2E2 last weekend and that's why you're here now. Thanks for giving us a shot. Let's start a beautiful relationship together. Until Next week!
Greetings Citizens! Dan Here! Well holy shit we made it. It took us 2.5 years to get here but we've finally reached Episode 100. We wanted to make it a celebratory event so we brought in some of our most dedicated listeners, turned the mics on, and got to know them a little bit better. We also decided to crack some champagne for the occasion (Steve had one glass, I had the whole bottle). Now I bring this up because although I didn't get drunk, I did get a little forgetful and forgot to introduce a guest and then missed a couple of intros. I'm not apologizing, just acknowledging. That said we had a great time speaking with everyone. This episode is broken up into 3 segments. Each segment brings 4 of our listeners and they are as follows: Segment 1: Favaun, Shannon WIse, Paul Hart, and Adam Templeman Segment 2: Chris Frederick of Attention Deficit Order Radio, Spoiler Steve from the Scene-It Cast, Kevin Shanks from Nobody Asked You Kevin, and Quinton Roberts from Commentaries For Dummies. You can check out all of their shows by clicking the links below. Segment 3: Johnny Bucks, Stephen Samara-Wickrama, Kevin Mcknight, and Nana Pratt from Blerds r Us We pretty much went with the freestyle mode for each segment so each one is different. We want to thank everyone that joined us for this episode and we can't wait to talk to you all again very very soon. We'd like to thank all of you for supporting us and listening to our show over the past 2.5 years. We hope you're not tired of us as we have plenty left to bring. Here's to another hundred episodes! We hope you enjoy this special podcast and again, thanks to all of our listeners new and old. Enjoy the show! This week, the Leftover Army Monsters divert from the regular content, and instead head back to the West to talk about the work of one of the greatest effects gurus of all time. We are talking about the one and only Stan Winston, and his directorial debut of 1988's PumpkinHead. Traditionally this film wouldn't be considered a "kaiju" film, but it would be wrong to never talk about the effects work Stan did for so many decades, creating some of the most iconic movie monsters and practical effects of all time. So join us and special guest Kevin Shanks as we talk about this little cult classic

I talk with Kevin Shanks, former guest on the show and host of the podcast Nobody Asked You, Kevin! We start off a little deep discussing the perception of time as we age, we talk about the YouTube Premium show Wayne a bit, Kevin talks about tattoos and live music. At some point I float the idea of a penis clothing line to make dick pics a little classier. Fuck, dude. It's a StarkCast episode. It goes all over the place and writing an episode summary for this stuff is just weird as fuck to lay out in a linear fashion. It sounds crazy. Anyway I got my mixer figured out so it sounds pretty good. It's got that going for it. Plus Kevin is awesome and you should check out his podcast! This week David and the Old Man are joined by returning Guest Michael Winkler and first time guest Kevin Shanks. (Oh and David's dogs also chime in throughout the show, so you've got that to look forward to). We discuss DC TV awesomeness, Once upon a Deadpool, Bumblebee and the new Spiderman into the Spiderverse film. We also drop some wicked Christmas love on Kurt Russell Santa in the Netflix original Christmas Chronicle. Of course there are a ton of WTF news and some Florida stories. We round out the show with a very special rant about Pitbull, not the dogs, the artist (if you wanna call him one). Yeah, the show pretty much sucks, so enjoy!
I talk science with Kevin Shanks, a forensic toxicologist. We get into all sorts of weird, interesting stuff! He shares some wild stories of cases he was involved in before we get into an epic conversation about psychedelics, "toxins", and the opioid epidemic. I'm not gonna lie- this was one of my all time favorite episodes!
