Nuacht Mhall. Príomhscéalta na seachtaine, léite go mall. * Inniu an naoú lá déag de mhí Dheireadh Fómhair. Is mise Eoin Ó Seachnasaigh. Tá sé ráite ag an Leifteanantchoirnéal Tom Fox, atá i gceannas ar choimeádaithe síochána na hÉireann i ndeisceart na Liobáine, go bhfuil na trúpaí slán sábháilte, in ainneoin coinníollacha an-dúshlánach agus teannas ag ardú sa Mheánoirthear. Tá níos mó ná 300 saighdiúir Éireannach lonnaithe in Camp Shamrock sa Liobáin Theas agus gar don teorainn idir Iosrael agus an Liobáin. Cé gur gortaíodh cúigear coimeádaithe síochána ó na Náisiúin Aontaithe le cúpla lá anuas, níl aon phlean ann faoi láthair chun na trúpaí a tharraingt siar. Tá rabhadh tugtha ag Príomhaire Iosrael, Benjamin Netanyahu, go bhfuil coimeádaithe síochána i mbaol mura mbogann siad ó dheisceart na Liobáine, comhartha go leanfar leis na hionsaithe in ainneoin agóidí an phobail idirnáisiúnta. Ar ais in Éirinn, agus ráflaí ag dul thart go mbeidh olltoghchán ar siúl go luath, tá Sinn Féin ag déileáil le roinnt géarchéimeanna atá ag bagairt dochar a dhéanamh dá bhfeachtas. Tá sé tagtha chun solais gur thug beirt bhall den pháirtí teistiméireacht d'iaroifigeach preasa an pháirtí ainneoin gur admhaigh sé coireanna mí-úsáide gnéis. Chomh maith leis sin, tá beirt Teachtaí Dála tar éis éirí as, ar chúiseanna ar leith. I gcás amháin, rinne an Teachta Dála gearán faoin gcaoi ar láimhseáil an páirtí líomhain maidir le hiompar neamhoiriúnach. Tagann na scéalta seo ar shála na nuachta go ndearna oifigigh an pháirtí iarracht smacht a choinneáill ar na ceisteanna a fuair an ceannaire Mary-Lou McDonald ag Ard Fheis an pháirtí. Cúrsaí sacair anois, agus tar éis an triú babhta de chluichí Shraith na Náisiún, tá foireann na hÉireann sa tríú háit agus trí phointe acu, chun tosaigh ar an bhFionlainn, a chaill gach cluiche, ach taobh thiar den Ghréig, atá i gceannas ar ár ngrúpa le dhá phointe dhéag, agus Sasana sa dara háit le naoi bpointe. Sa chéad chluiche, bhí bua inspioráideach ag Éirinn in aghaidh na Fionlainne, a bhuí le cúil ón gcosantóir Liam Scales agus ón imreoir lár páirce Robbie Brady tar éis botún tubaisteach ón gcaptaen Nathan Collins a thug tús foirfe do na Fionlannaigh. Sa dara cluiche, áfach, thug na Gréagaigh triail i bhfad níos deacra i láthair, agus léirigh bua compordach don fhoireann baile san Aithin méid an dúshláin atógála atá roimh bhainisteoir nua na hÉireann Heimir Hallgrímsson. Idir an dá linn, téann na Gréagaigh ó neart go neart. Sa bhabhta seo, bhuaigh siad in aghaidh ní amháin na hÉireann, ach Sasana in Wembley freisin, den chéad uair riamh, éacht thar a bheith suntasach tar éis bhás tragóideach a n-imreora George Baldock an tseachtain seo caite. * Léirithe ag Conradh na Gaeilge i Londain. Following two league losses on the bounce nothing other than a win against Livingston would do today - and that's exactly what then Bhoys delivered. A combination of Livingston's approach and the blustery conditions ensured it was never going to be a game packed with free flowing football but ultimately Celtic done what they had to do to secure the win. Kyogo and Liam Scales were the goalscorers on the day, both coming from Luis Palma assists, and Brendan Rodgers' men must now take it into the Boxing Day clash with Dundee where another vital three points are up for grabs. In the meantime join Tino & James on the latest episode of The Final Whistle Show as Celtic got back to winning ways against Livingston. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Ask the Celtic players and fans if tonight meant nothing. Representing Celtic is never meaningless and Brendan Rodgers, his team and the Celtic support got their rewards against Feyenoord with a last gasp winner giving us the Champions League win that's evaded us for so long. It was an entertaining game on the night with Celtic undoubtedly riding their luck at times, though we also seen some big performances from the likes of Joe Hart, Liam Scales and Callum McGregor. Now that our European adventures are over for another season the Bhoys must now use this result and performance to galvanise us for the league challenges that we face - starting with a big one against Hearts on Saturday. Meantime however, enjoy this extended Final Whistle Show with Tino, James & Brydo as Celtic turned over the Dutch champions. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

This week, Sean Wallace tells us what he learned about Aberdeen's new attacker Callum Roberts from former Killie boss Lee Clark, while we also ask if Hayden Coulson is going to be the Dons' main left-back this term. Is there enough depth on the left side of defence generally after this week's departures? There are certainly defensive conundrums and questions over who to start in attack at Celtic in Sunday's Premiership opener - Who replaces Liam Scales? Miovski or Ramirez? Does Roberts get a starting debut? Meanwhile, Ross County's attack are flying going into their Hearts clash, while Inverness step into the unknown v Queen's Park in what looks like an early banana skin for the Championship hopefuls. Plus, Cove Rangers and Peterhead still looking really light – or even lighter - two days before their league campaigns get under way, as Gavin Price tries to banish Elgin's tendency for second half switch-offs.

(It won't be Liam Boyce or Robby McCrorie...) CELTIC announced the signing of Matt O'Riley to bolster the ranks in our creative positions last week and it's not a moment too soon as we contend ourselves with the absence of Tom Rogic and Daizen Maeda on international duty as well as ongoing injury concerns over Kyogo Furuhashi, David Turnbull and now captain Callum McGregor. A physical encounter with Alloa in the Scottish Cup on Saturday night hasn't helped our injury woes with Liel and Abada and Yosuke Ideguchi also picking up knocks on the night, but Celtic will have to dust themselves off very quickly as the challenges of Hearts at Tynecastle (Wednesday) and Dundee Utd at Celtic Park (Saturday) await before we then head into the second derby of the season next midweek. It's a crucial period in the title race and Ange Postecoglou has some big calls to make as he aims to navigate us through these fixtures with maximum points. Fringe players such as Giorgios Giakounakis, Liam Scales and Tony Ralston will be looking to play their part and we can also look forward to seeing new Bhoys Matt O'Riley and Reo Hatate take centre stage as the title race heats up. Tino, Paddy and special guest Hamish of 67 Hail Hail were on the mics this week to cover all of the above and more.
