Canadians are turning on the immigration system, with recent polling showing Canadians think immigration rates are too high. This is Justin Trudeau's fault, True North's Andrew Lawton says. By setting arbitrary targets and making virtue signalling the goal over a sensible, measured approach to immigration, Trudeau has let the system get out of control. Can it be fixed? Also, the federal government has given the health minister, right now Mark Holland, the right to override Health Canada and unilaterally ban some products based on harm concerns – with no need for study or legislation. David Clement of the Consumer Choice Center says Canadians should be concerned about this consolidation of power in one person's hands. He joins the show to explain why. Plus, leaders around the world are condemning the sham election in Venezuela that Nicolas Maduro claims re-elected him. Ana Rizo of the Ladies of Liberty Alliance joins to discuss what's happening and why it matters. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Had the amazing pleasure to bring on Pat tonight. We first go into legislation going on in MO to make it one of the freest states in the land. Pat goes into how sales tax on food is next on the list. Then after that the movement is going after making MO gold and silver a legal tender in MO. It doesn't stop there though. There is a process but due to the lack of human interaction with in the political system it takes a bit longer. Pat's movement is here to counteract that! Cheers and I hope you enjoy! Joanna Guerra—a lawyer, philosopher, and director of Ladies of Liberty Alliance and Fundación Federalismo y Libertad in Mexico—discusses the electoral reform Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO) proposed to Congress. For Guerra, the proposed reform was a threat to democracy and a step backward in the country's efforts to maintain political alternation. Guerra also analyzes how the AMLO administration will act after Congress rejected the proposal on December 6. AMLO's plan B includes smaller reforms and laws without modifying the Constitution, as originally intended. Guerra believes the discussion is far from over and that Mexicans will still have to fight to defend their democracy. Haley Heathman grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana and went to DePauw University where she played tennis and was a three-time All-American and an NCAA finalist in doubles. She was elected to the DePauw University Athletics Hall of Fame in 2016. Other DePaw Hall of Famers include: Buzzie Bavasi — longtime baseball executive (Dodgers, Padres, Angels). Played baseball for the DePauw Tigers. Ford Frick — Former president of the National League. Third Commissioner of Baseball. Played baseball at DePauw. Dan Quayle — Former Vice President of the United States and former United States Senator from Indiana. Golfer at DePauw. Mark Rolfing — Former PGA Tour pro. Longtime golf commentator. Number two golfer as a freshman behind Dan Quayle. Brad Stevens — President of Basketball Operations for the Boston Celtics. Two-time national runner-up as head coach for Butler University. Eight years as head coach of the Celtics. Four basketball letters, playing in all of the Tigers games during his career. Graduated before Haley, but inducted into the school's hall of fame after her. Dick Tomey — Longtime college football head coach, notably at Hawaii, Arizona, and San Jose State. Played baseball at DePauw. Haley had a career as a luxury yacht stewardess for nearly a decade and eventually got out of that line of work and immersed herself in the culture of hunting. This new passion culminated in Haley writing a book entitled, Hunt It, Clean It, Cook It, Eat It: The Complete Field to Table Guide to Bagging More Game, Cleaning It Like a Pro, and Cooking Wild Game Meals Even Non-Hunters Will Love. Haley now lives in Florida and runs the Liberty Alliance Network and is the host of the What Can We Do? podcast. Tom Woods #TomWoods100 (My goal is to get 100 people within the “Tom Woods orbit” on the podcast…then we'll talk to Tom all about it.) Haley has followed Tom's work since about 2011 after finding out about the great Ron Paul in 2010. Says The Revolution: A Manifesto by Ron Paul was an “instant lightbulb. Haven't looked back since.” She calls herself part of the “Ron Paul-to-Tom Woods Pipeline.” Like myself, Haley is a member of The Tom Woods School of Life. “OG's” Before we connected in the backchannels within the Tom's School of Life network, I saw some of the videos Haley did at the Tom Woods School of Life live event weekend. I was not at the event, but saw her man-on-the-street interviews after the fact. These short interviews are now up on her Rumble channel, WhatCanWeDo. Her first interview was with Jeremy Evans, who we had on Episode 2 of this podcast. I would have liked to have gone, but I haven't gone on a plane since probably 2019. I don't know when I'm going to be comfortable going to an airport or on an airplane. These people were evil and wicked. In college, Haley interned with C-SPAN. If you are an old-school cable television watcher, you probably know about C-SPAN. The C-SPAN Bus. Florida Politics Laura Loomer Dan Webster Hector Roos (Libertarian candidate for Florida governor). Haley interviews him here. As with many of us, “covid” was a “game-changer” for Haley. She started Liberty Alliance Network as a way for people to “unite and fight.” What can we do? Do something! This Sunday, I will report on an alt-right group in Missouri known as Liberty Alliance. This group has released a 'Woke' Map, which targets specific schools and school districts in Missouri, which are believed to be indoctrinating children in 'socialism', 'explicit sexual instruction in terms of the LGBTQ community', as well as 'grooming toddlers for sexual activity.' This 'Woke' Map appears amidst the tragedy of the Ulvade mass murders at Robb Elementary School. This 'Woke' Map is not only the height of irresponsibility; it is an invitation, an incitement to future violence against our schools, but that's not the most shocking detail. This group is run by GOP operatives in Missouri and derives funding from that same GOP. This group's website includes a section for 'Conservative Champions,' which includes the Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmidt, (who is running for Roy Blunt's US Senate seat), and Missouri Secretary of State Jay Ashcroft. Ashcroft is the son of former US Attorney General John Ashcroft, during the George W. Bush administration. You remember--the same John Ashcroft that tolerated legalized TORTURE--in direct violation of the 8th amendment! This doesn't get any more 'mainstream' GOP than the Ashcrofts. Liberty Alliance IS an alt-right group (IMHO), which is actively targeting its political enemies in our SCHOOLS. Come join me as I DOXX this group. Jeanine
Speak the words "private prison" to the wrong person and you are liable to get an earful about market fundamentalism run amok. Indeed, government's law-and-order functions seem to be among the most difficult to transition to the private sector. But is such alarmism over privately-run prisons really warranted? After all, it was the public sector corrections officers union in California that spent millions in 2004 to defeat an initiative that would have limited the number of life sentences handed down under the three strikes law, ensuring a steady supply of "customers" for their industry. Private prisons only account for a fraction of total corrections facilities in the U.S., so how can we account for the real injustice – the massive increase in the prison population over the last several decades? To dissect this complicated issue, Bob is joined by prolific writer and podcast host Lucy Steigerwald. Steigerwald, a libertarian "millennial" and frequent contributor to VICE.com on issues of criminal justice, recently wrote an article on private prisons for The Daily Beast, which may straighten out some of the priorities of those who are still focused on the wrong injustices. Steigerwald is also a representative of the Ladies of Liberty Alliance, the premiere ladies organization serving the liberty movement.
In the second part of his talk with Brett McDowell, executive director of the Liberty Alliance Project, Regarding ID Editor Zack Martin talks more about the Kanatara Initiative and how individual's will be able to secure their identities online.
Identity in the online world is difficult. In this latest edition of the Regarding ID podcast Editor Zack Martin speaks with Brett McDowell, executive director of the Liberty Alliance Project, about the Kantara Initiative, a plan to bring online identity projects together.
Currently many initiatives are being proposed for identity management, such as OpenID, SAML, CardSpace/Information Cards, and OAuth, as its importance is becoming apparent. Identity management is as an integral part of service infrastructures to make identity available to services across organizations in a secure and privacy protected manner. The identity data are crucial to successfully providing the privileged and personalized experiences for legitimate users of services. Also it is important that the users should have strong control over their identity data to foster a socially responsible service industry. This talk will give an overview of trends in identity management, and illustrate best practices and lessons learned in real settings using case studies. The talk will also highlight standard harmonization (SAML/Liberty, OpenID, CardSpace/Information Cards, etc.) and explore the future research agenda (e.g., mobile applications).
