Od nekdaj so ljudje strmeli v nebo in na njem iskali odgovore za dogodke na Zemlji. Za marsikaterega so okrivili tudi Luno in ji pripisali lastnosti, ki jih nikakor nima. Od nekdaj tako velja prepričanje, da se ob polni Luni rodi več otrok kot sicer, da vanjo tulijo volkovi in da takrat rastejo gobe. Čeravno vsa ta verovanja niso resnična, pa sta Luna in Zemlja neločljivo povezani vse od trka večjega planetoida z Zemljo pred več kot štirimi milijardami let. Še pred 400 leti so menili, da je luna gladka, Galileo je ugotovil, da je reliefna, po pojavu teleskopov in odpravah nanjo pa je človeštvo o njej vedelo vedno več. Veliko zanimivih informacij o tem našem edinem naravnem satelitu zdaj prinaša nova, interaktivna razstava v Prirodoslovnem muzeju Slovenije z naslovom Vsega je kriva Luna.
