How important are looks in your relationship? There is a new dating app that has NO PICTURES! You get to know someone for 72 hours before you see what they look like.
Imagine being able to see what ancient famous people looked like, even though they left no pictures behind. Thanks to science, we now can! Forensic facial reconstruction is like detective work for faces—it uses skulls, history, and advanced technology to recreate how someone might have looked. Scientists have brought back faces of ancient kings, queens, and even everyday people from thousands of years ago. It's amazing to see these reconstructed faces and realize they walked the Earth just like us. Each face tells a story about their time, their culture, and who they were. It's like traveling back in time without needing a time machine! Listen in to the full reading brought to you especially by Lizzie and Casey. Thank you for listening.Bye for now, Victoria aka Mama VSpecial note: the work of B.J. You might think a book with no pictures seems boring and serious. Except . . . here's how books work. Everything written on the page has to be said by the person reading it aloud. Everything..!
At once perfectly simple and ingeniously imaginative, The Book With No Pictures inspires laughter every time it is opened, creating a warm and joyous experience to share—and introducing young children to the powerful idea that the written word can be an unending source of mischief and delight.

After 67 years of perfect health Tina was diagnosed in November 2020 with AML(acute myeloid leukemia) a very serious form of leukemia, one that can arise from undiagnosed myleodysplastic syndrome. You may be familiar with that term from Robin Robert's documented journey back in 2013. Tina's diagnosis came in her 34th year of sobriety and less than 6 months after her fiancé's suicide. She is now 200+ days out from a bone marrow transplant which is considered a possible curative fix for this type of AML for some patients. Although Tina has characterized this journey as the most spiritual and transcendent experience of her life, she is now in that further uncharted land of survivorship where gratitude and rebirth live in an uneasy partnership with frustration, fear, and loneliness.
