Game 1 - Anti-Kareoke I've got four lists of Weird Al song titles from commercially released albums according to Wikipedia, and each team is going to take it in turns to try and communicate as many of the titles in their list to their partner within 60 seconds without using any words in the title, without any lyrics from the song, without using your hands, and critically - without singing. Your voice must maintain a monotone throughout, if your tone varies in any significant way, the current title will be voided and you'll have to move onto the next. After both players on each team have had a chance to both give and guess, the team that successfully guessed the most titles over both lists wins and earns one episode point. Game 2 - One or the Other I've got three lists of ten items. All of these items fall into one category or another. Teams will take turns guessing which category each item falls under, earning one point each time they're correct. The final list will be one thing, another, or BOTH, and teams will earn TWO points each time they are correct on the final list. The team with the most points after all three lists wins and earns two episode points. Game 3 - The Cost is Correct Our teams will bid on five items that were either sold or recently went to auction, and the player whose bid is closest to the final auction or sale price without going over will win the listing. And I'm going to tell you right now, action movies are a no-brainer, and I'll let you pitch one if that's all you can come up with, but I'm more interested in seeing them in something unexpected. My favorite pitch wins and earns their team two episode points.Game 3 - The Rules of the GameOur players will play a game they don't know the rules to, and at any point, any player can buzz in by shouting their own name, and attempt to guess the rules of the game. If they are wrong, they may continue to play the game but may no longer guess. If they are correct, they win the game for their team and earn three points. If no one guesses the rules, we play until the game ends, at which point the team with the most points wins. If there's a tie, players will then take turns guessing the rules until someone gets it exactly right. This Week we are back with another Special episode of Pole Position for charity. Joined by Audra and Matt from The GateLeapers Podcast.Four players determine their starting positions by answering two quickfire trivia questions. The player(s) who successfully answer both correctly will choose their positions first, followed by those who got one right, and finally, those who got none right.Four players line up in a row, taking the positions they chose. The player at the front of the line - "pole position" - will answer multiple choice questions, trying to give the final correct answer needed to end the round, & qualify for the final.1st Round - 4 players, 4th correct answer qualifies 2nd Round - 3 players, 3rd correct answer qualifies 3rd Round - 2 players, 2nd correct answer qualifies and back player chooses the category of the questionsIf a player ever gets a question wrong, they go to the back of the line and everyone else moves up. Between each round, players will choose their new position based on where they were at the end of the previous round. After all 3 qualifying rounds, the lone player who didn't qualify is eliminated from the game.Final RoundThe jackpot starts at $100. The three who qualified choose their positions, and the back player once again chooses the categories. This time, the front player will answer seven questions, and the player who answers the seventh question correctly will win all the money in the jackpot. However, anyone getting a question wrong moves to the back of the line AND loses $10 from the pot. So the front player can ask the other players for help, and they may want to do so in order to keep the pot nice and high, but as the questions go on, they'll probably become less helpful in order to get themselves into pole position.On the seventh question, if a player gets it wrong, the correct answer is not revealed, and that player is eliminated. The next player moves up and tries to find the correct answer from the three remaining options, if they fail, the last player has a 50/50 shot.
