Parker Lewis Can't Lose is Rob's dream show. Joe's never heard of it. Rob thinks you should leave your family and join a monastery if that's what's best for you. Joe wants inner peace. Rob tells him about meditation. Joe's been planning to try meditation for years now. Maybe he'll finally get around to it. Maybe you will too. Maybe we'll all meet each other at a monastery and tell stories about 90s TV shows and the families we abandoned. booyahpodcast@gmail.com // 857-626-6924

FANS: Corin Nemec (Stargate SG-1, Stephen King's The Stand, Parker Lewis Can't Lose) chats with us about Ted & Bud Bundy, fan interaction, and upcoming projects, including Rottentail--a film adaptation of the graphic novel releasing April 12! I catch up with Corin Nemec, star of Parker Lewis Can't Lose. Corin tells me why he initially did not want to do the show and why the third season was it's last. Corin earned an Emmy nomination for the TV movie, "I Know My First Name is Steven", and talks about his experience. HIs latest movie, "Rottentail", comes out in the Spring.
We get off to a fast start in the hot mic pre-show as the ultimate Eric Slocum story is recounted, a Knight Rider ringtone introduces the desire to ride adult big wheels, and we bring up the Mandela Effect and the Sinbad movie that apparently never existed. It's Brad's birthday on the day of recording, the episode is presented entirely free of show notes, and the Phoenix is rising. Brad is in need of good things, Steve is looking for a new job in his current field while addressing the annoying trendiness of his son. In the most unbelievable moment in podcast history, Steve says that he does not punch hard anymore, and then discusses his new TV show to binge watch: Breaking Bad. We lament the premature ending of Jericho, talk about the best original shows that USA Network has produced, and name drop two '90s classics: Parker Lewis Can't Lose and American Gladiators. To close the first half of the show, we talk the ideology of Superman, Batman, and other characters in the modern world, before Steve veers into the area of massage parlors. In the second half of the show, Steve has the opportunity to ask Brad anything on his birthday. The questions, and the emotional answers, are not to be missed.
