Taking a holistic approach to your health means looking at your mental, emotional, spiritual, physical, and nutritional health. I’m joined by wellness coach Sarah Anne Stewart to talk about how she encourages holistic health with her clients. She also shares some great tips on increasing your overall wellness! Key Takeaways Some quick exercises you can start doing that will help you heal your mental and emotional health and your relationship with your body. Practicing daily affirmations Getting involved in Mirror Work Writing a letter to our body About Sarah Anne Stewart Sarah Anne Stewart discovered the world of wellness as a teenager when her father received a terminal cancer diagnosis. Her family made a choice – to fight back with alternative medicine. Seven months later, her father was cancer-free, and a spark was lit in Sarah that propelled her to dedicate her life to spreading the healings her family had discovered.  Today, as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach (AADP), Sarah runs a leading private coaching practice with a focus on breaking free of diet culture through mindfulness. Her heart-centered approach has supported hundreds on their journeys to body love.  Sarah is the founder of the Awesome Inside Out Movement, an advisor to international wellness brands and soon to be Hay House author. Taking the First Steps into Holistic Wellness Sarah starts by sharing the story of when she first ventured into the wellness world. As a professional model, she struggled with what she knew to be true about her diet and lifestyle and actually putting it into practice.  She opens up and shares how she nearly killed herself with anorexia before she finally realized she needs to work on her mental and emotional health, as well as her nutritional and physical, in order to truly heal. This led Sarah on a journey into holistic wellness that included a deep spiritual practice of healing. She found a spiritual teacher who told her that she needs to relearn everything she knew about suffering. Sarah talks about self-sabotaging behavior and how, even when we’re actively trying to change our lives for the better, we can still engage in it. She explains some of the reasons for this and what we can do to stop this behavior. She also shares some mindset tips to change who and what you attract into your life. I love these tips and I think we should apply them often! Comparison is the Number One Barrier to Wellness Sarah suffered from breast implant illness for years. She found herself in a bubble of people who denied this could be happening, but eventually discovered how sick her implants were making her.  Sarah shifts into explaining the mindset behind why people get implants. Social media is often blamed for poor body image issues in young women, but it’s not uncalled for blame. Sarah believes that social media and comparing ourselves to other women is definitely one of the reasons women get implants. She encourages you to go on regular social media detoxes. Other wellness practices Sarah promotes are spending time in nature, writing or repeating affirmations, regular meditation, and engaging in mirror work. One of the ultimate things we need to do in order to heal is to stop comparing ourselves to other people. Comparison doesn’t serve you at all, my friends. It’s time we let go and embrace who we are as our unique, wonderful selves. How is this comparison serving you? How is it keeping you in a place of discomfort? What would happen if you actually let it go? As always, you can ask me anything and let me hear your thoughts in the comments on the episode page. If you have questions, email team@drannacabeca.com.   In This Episode Why you need to take a holistic approach to your health that includes your mental and emotional along with your physical and nutritional [7:00] How to unlearn the way you were taught to suffer [12:15] Why we might engage in self-sabotaging behavior [16:15] How to control who you attract into your life based on the thoughts you have [20:00] Some of the symptoms of breast implant illness [25:00] Why it’s important for our mental health to have social media detoxes [29:00] How to reconnect with yourself by connecting to nature and disconnecting from your thoughts [31:00] How to break free from comparing ourselves to other people [35:15]   Quotes “So often, people are reluctant to go beyond the mind because we’re taught more research means that we have a higher IQ and we’re better at coping with the world and we’ll be more successful. But, often, what it really is about is going to the space between the thoughts. It’s going into our awareness.” [13:50] “It’s not about feeling shame or guilt when you do a behavior that’s sabotaging. It’s about creating the self-awareness to recognize that there is a different way and once you know better, you’ll do better. It’s not your fault that you’re sabotaging. But it is your responsibility if you want to live an empowered life in a body that you love.” [17:11] “We all face these different parts of our life where something from our past, an old experience, or even a relationship or career might come forward later in your life. It’s about having the tools to manage what shows up.” [21:04] “The problem is that we’re in this comparison or jealousy model and we’re always on social media, we’re always looking at other people wondering why we can’t look like that. Through the acceptance and surrender, whether it’s the sickness, the not feeling well, the how we look, there is this mourning process that happens. On the other side of that is freedom.” [31:09]   Resources Mentioned Find Sarah Anne Stewart Online Follow Sarah Anne Stewart on Facebook | Twitter | Instagram | YouTube | Pinterest Join the KetoGreen Community on Facebook Buy Keto-Green 16 Check out the full episode page Find Dr. Anna Online Follow Dr. Anna on Facebook | Instagram | Twitter

In today’s episode, Derrick Kinney interviews best-selling author and CEO, Michael Hyatt, on how you can accomplish more in your business, your finances and your personal life by doing less. If you’re struggling to manage your workload, Michael shares the three commitments he made that changed everything so he could succeed at work and in life and how you can too.   Podcast Summary: The importance of the Big Three The power of entering into someone else’s world Why vision is vital in leadership How clarity of vision and alignment around that vision drives execution Why you should forget confidence and focus on courage How to work less and be more successful   Quotes: “So the Big Three is to identify the three tasks that need to be done today, that if you get those done, you’re going to declare victory and count it as a win.” – Michael Hyatt “…happiness is not a destination, but it’s making meaningful progress day after day on things that you believe are important.” – Michael Hyatt “Leadership presupposes that you’re leading people somewhere, to a destination. If, as the leader, you’re not clear on the destination, then you’re just kind of wandering around squandering resources.” – Michael Hyatt “If you’re not clear on where you’re going, you really don’t have the right to lead.” – Michael Hyatt “Talking about clarity about the future drives progress toward that future.” – Michael Hyatt “…when people sense that the leader believes in what they’re talking about, that transcends a lot of words.” – Derrick Kinney “If you collect all the toys, if you run a big company, but if the people that you love the most aren’t there at the finish line, that’s not success.” – Michael Hyatt “The symphony conductor, he doesn’t even have to play an instrument. He just has to lead and call up the right instruments at the right time.” – Michael Hyatt “But courage happens when you choose to act despite your fear, confidence only comes after the fact.” – Michael Hyatt “If I can lead a conversation with the incredibly talented people that I have on my team, it’s going to be so much better than what I could cook up myself.” – Michael Hyatt   Follow Good Money Good Hands Good Work on Instagram! https://www.instagram.com/goodmoneyframework/   Recommended Resources: Free to Focus by Michael Hyatt https://read.amazon.com/kp/embed?asin=B07F3DM7C1&preview=newtab&linkCode=kpe&ref_=cm_sw_r_kb_dp_phMCFbX003HMD Platform by Michael Hyatt https://www.amazon.com/Platform-Get-Noticed-Noisy-World-ebook/dp/B006T364QG/ref=sr_1_1?crid=HAZQEHTHDBJH&dchild=1&keywords=platform+michael+hyatt&qid=1601409462&sprefix=platform+Michael+%2Caps%2C195&sr=8-1 The Vision Driven Leader by Michael Hyatt https://www.amazon.com/Vision-Driven-Leader-Questions-Energize-Business/dp/0801075270/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=vision+driven+leader+michael+hyatt&qid=1601409517&sr=8-1 5 Ways Your Resentment of Money is Ruining the World (free download at goodmoneyframework.com)

Your brand identity didn’t just materialize overnight. You had to hone your craft, find your voice, learn from the experts, create content, find a place to house it, and all the rest, right?  It’s a lot of work, so you don’t want to miss out on opportunities to be found and to convert the people who find you. Today we're going to talk about how to create a brand that shines because you've set up the identities in the right places and in the right ways to let people know what you're all about. Highlights: Set up first impressions with great profiles and cover art Make sure your content matches your brand Learn what makes a great headline Discover what works for a thumbnail Understand keywords, tags and categories Figure out what platform works best for you Quotes: "So, how do you create a brand identity that shines? You build it in a way that follows the guidelines of the channels you're using. That helps you stand out and position yourself, so when people look for you, they find something that really reflects who you are and what you're all about." "Your first impression for most of your social channels and content will be your biography, your profile, or your cover. That's what's going to define who you are." "What you want them to see is who you are, who you can help and how you help them. You want that to be apparent right off the bat. A lot of us figure that out in terms of how to introduce ourselves, maybe at a networking event, but we don't follow through by defining that in our online profiles." In today's Solidarity Fridays episode, Joe and Kyle sit down and discuss topics in the media including the usefulness of brain activity scans and the idea that “brain does not equal mind,” how language can shift the social narrative to or away from stigma when describing substance use, and psilocybin testing in mice and when we might see psilocybin start being prescribed. They spend a lot of time on the questions everyone is asking right now- what changes can we make that will help the most people and give the oppressed what they need? What tangible changes do the oppressed actually want? What should the role of police look like, either compared to or in conjunction with social work or therapy? They look at these questions with hope, but through a realistic lens- disasters, illness and even global warming always affects the poor and oppressed more than those in power. And historically, people have always shown a natural tendency to want to hold others down. What is the real purpose behind what those in power do (for example, outlawing encrypted texting or arresting someone for doing drugs)? Are they trying to encourage only specific conversations they’re comfortable with?  Quotes So what really can we do, and what specifically can those with white privilege do? The answer there is to find where your voice is most effective, and to have those tough conversations. “Find those inarguable points. Don’t let the media steer your narrative. Major media outlets want you to talk about certain things. Don’t do that. Find out what you think is most important and most helpful to discuss with the people you’re around. Where do you have the most influence?” -Joe  “How can we... shift the narrative there to help people heal instead of… putting them in this lifelong box of ‘you’ll never heal from this because you have this disorder and this disease’? I’m always on the side of healing [rather] than trying to completely pathologize experiences.” -Kyle “It sounds nice to say that we want to eliminate violence, we want to eliminate racism, we want to eliminate rape- all these really bad things. But how long have those things been with us? At least 14,000 years, I think. What’s it going to really take to totally reprogram the human genome- the human mind- to transition to this ideal? Is it possible? I don’t know... I want to see these police held accountable, I want to see… criminals in the government go to jail. But it’s kind of the nature of these institutions. They have this monopoly on violence that was granted to them a long time ago, and there’s no real recourse. They’ve got way bigger budgets than any of us as individuals or gangs have, much more training, much better gear… I don’t totally see a great path out.” -Joe Links Studies of Brain Activity Aren't as Useful as Scientists Thought Language Matters in the Recovery Movement Interview: Adam Halberstadt, UC San Diego Protests Drive DC Psychedelics Decriminalization Signatures As Activists Launch Major Mailer Campaign Support the show Patreon Leave us a review on Facebook or iTunes Share us with your friends Join our Facebook group - Psychedelics Today group – Find the others and create community. I am so excited you’re here today for this short & juicy episode that I think is going to be super powerful for you! We’re talking about who’s rules you’re playing by, what achievement system you’re tapping into and if all of that is even working for you. This idea came to me after our last weekly virtual Happy Hour with the members of our global personal development community, The Collective. One of our incredible members, Angelica, shared one of her own personal wins about how she came to the realization that her goals for building a side business didn’t have to be massive or the same as others who were building similar businesses. She knew where her passion was, with teaching, and she was proud of herself for admitting that she didn’t want the same thing that others did. I just know, there is NOTHING like that feeling of owning who you are, what your goals are, & realizing you don’t have to play by anybody else’s rules. I think you are so going to LOVE this one & I can’t wait to hear what you think girlfriend!      Quotes: “So often we don’t even realize, that we’re often playing this part to a script that was written for us that we didn’t even want to be part of, or we’re setting goals based off of other people’s achievement systems that we don’t even want.” “It helps you get this anxiety down, you don’t feel as anxious or frazzled about the speed at which you’re getting to your goals when you realize, direction is more important than speed.” “If you are letting someone else’s opinion, or society’s expectations, or your mentors goals for you, or your peers goals for you, dictate your goals & what you’re doing with your life, then is it really even your life?”    Resources: Hey girl, have you joined our email list yet? Women in Business: Inspirational Stories of Women Entrepreneurs

Heading into the new year, we need to think about not just the health of our business, but our body’s health, as well. As entrepreneurs, we’re more likely to prioritize our business and family over our own health, but this will be detrimental in the long run! Christine Hronec is the founder of Gauge Girl Training, LLC and she joins me to talk about how she helps women achieve true and sustainable weight loss. Christine is a chemical engineer by trade who built a factory from the ground up where she produced supplements for other businesses. She always struggled to reach the physique that she desired for her body, so she decided to start using these supplements. This led her to learn more about nutrition and macros, applying the principles to her body and sharing her progress on Instagram.  She set herself a personal challenge to get the body she always wanted, but because she was sharing her progress on Instagram, more people wanted to learn her secrets. This led Christine to start Gauge Girl Training, where she uses her engineering background coupled with all her nutrition research to help others achieve their ideal body weight and physique. But Christine didn’t leap from her full-time job straight into Gauge Girl Training. She made sure her business was sustainable and could support her fully before making the transition. In this episode, Christine shares what her approach to fat loss is. It’s something that everyone can employ, regardless of what their diet preferences are. She also explains how she built her client base by using YouTube to reach her audience in a much simpler and explanatory way. Christine explains some of the simple ways we can change our diets so that we get the best start heading into 2020. One of the biggest things Christine encourages us to do is to cut or at least reduce the amount of sugar we consume. Sugar is by far one of the most addictive substances out there and it’s incredibly harmful to our bodies. Are you ready to change your lifestyle for the better this year? How can you employ simple diet swaps to improve your health dramatically? What ways can you use YouTube or other social media platforms to connect with your audience?   In This Episode: How a personal challenge can turn into a long-term business plan Why you shouldn’t quit your day job until your side business is sustainable Christine’s approach to fat loss  How you can use YouTube to reach your audience on their level What are some simple ways you can improve your diet coming into the new year Why sugar is one of the biggest toxins in our world What kind of carbs you want to eat in order to regulate your insulin   Quotes: “So many people think about social media you need to have millions of followers - you don’t. You just need people who are engaged with what you’re doing.” (5:09) “When it comes to sugar, it is 8% more addictive than cocaine. Scientifically proven.” (21:09) “I find that my clients are most successful when they’re excited about their food.” (26:39) “No mistake is fatal and final. Just keep going! It sounds simple but it’s not sometimes. Some days are harder than others but keep going. You’ve got to stay positive. You have to make your changes from a place of self-love.” (27:43)   Links Learn more about Gauge Life Supplements Find Christine Hronec Online Follow Christine Hronec on Instagram | Facebook | YouTube  Find Dr. Cortney Baker Online Follow Dr. Cortney Baker on Facebook | Twitter | Instagram | LinkedIn Join From Side Hustle to CEO on Facebook Subscribe to Women in Business on Apple Podcasts   Are you a female millennial entrepreneur who wants to start or scale your service-based business but not sure where to start? Yes, it’s the season to be ‘jolly,’ but it’s also the season where we often get a little overwhelmed, or stressed, or we have to navigate interesting dynamics. Let’s first set the stage, when I say overwhelm I’m referring to when your brain is just so full you kind of feel like a computer with 800 million tabs open & like you’re going to actually explode. It’s not only uncomfortable, but it’s not healthy to stay in that state for very long because it can lead to anxiety, a real ugly cry, or getting angry at someone that maybe doesn’t deserve it, but it could also lead to you throwing in the towel on your dreams because you don’t feel capable. So today I am going to breakdown my go-to tips for managing the overwhelm in real time and also a few tips for proactively preventing overwhelm in the future. I think this can be really powerful & hope it really resonates with you! & of course I can’t wait to hear what you think, so don’t hesitate to tag me on Instagram & let me know!    Quotes: “So often, we spend so much of our brain capacity worrying about all of these things that are likely not even gonna happen or they’re not relevant right now.” “Is there something that you are spending your time doing that doesn’t actually require you to be the one doing it that could give you more time & bandwidth to focus on the things that could only be done by you?” “Smart people ask for help because they know they can’t show up as their best selves if they’re burnt out.”   Resources: Hey girl, have you joined our email list yet? Falling in love is the easy part. The chemical reaction in your body when you find someone to share your life with is fun, exciting, and adventurous. It’s staying in love that’s hard. Today, I’m joined by relationship expert, Arielle Ford, about how keep your relationships alive, thriving, and full of love. Arielle has been in the relationship game for a long time and has researched and written so many books on the subject, including The Soulmate Secret and Turn Your Mate Into Your Soulmate. Her work has helped women across the world find love and connect with their husbands on a deeper, more understanding and emotional level. I actually met Arielle through JJ Virgin who met the love of her life following Arielle’s advice. Being in a loving marriage herself, Arielle expresses that while she was in love with her husband, when they first got married she wished she knew more about how to make relationships work. There’s a lot more to it than just a feeling of love. She describes some of the 9 irreconcilable differences that most relationships face and how you can come up with creative solutions - not compromises - to get around them. Statistically, one of the biggest causes of divorce is differences in opinion about how to spend money. Arielle shares a very personal story of the creative solution her and her husband came up with when they first got married and had different financial backgrounds. Open and honest communication is paramount in a relationship and so many issues can be reconciled just by talking about them. We talk about the concept of women being pleasure puppies, which, essentially, means that women need to make self-care a priority in their everyday life. In the same vein, women need to be aware that we are responsible for our own happiness, not our husband's, though of course, when you’re working together as a well-oiled machine, mutual happiness will come much easier. Arielle gives some helpful tips on how to use positive reinforcement with your husband to help get rid of any bad habits - that’s right, no more screaming matches!! It all comes down to making your husband feel like your hero. Do you withhold sex from your husband out of punishment or just not being in the mood? How do you prioritize your husbands wants and needs and show him that you love him? What do you do to reignite a spark that’s maybe starting to go out in your relationship? Let me know in the comments. In This Episode: What the 9 irreconcilable differences in most relationships are How coming up with creative solutions to your differences is the key to a lasting relationship What to do when you disagree about money in a marriage What to do when you’re starting to feel out of love with your partner Why you should have sex with your partner even when you’re not in the mood Why women need to become pleasure puppies How to make your husband feel like a hero What The Platinum Rule is How to have clarity on what kind of partner you want to manifest into your life Why you need to have S-E-X before a first date How to fast track or reignite a relationship spark Why it’s sometimes okay to go to bed angry   Quotes: “So the truth is real, adult, mature, love is a behavior. It's a practice, it's a decision, it's a choice, it's an action, it's a way of being. And yes, you can be with your true soulmate, and have days or moments when you hate them. And that is also normal. It doesn't mean that you don't love them.” (11:33) “[Understand] your husband isn't there to make you happy. But you can train them how to make you happy… It's called positive reinforcement. And for those of you who are thinking, “well, this is how you train dogs or dolphins.” Yes, yes, it's the same technique. But it works.” (16:08) “And the reason for [your 2nd and 3rd divorce] isn't that you keep choosing the same person over and over again. The reason is you have not grown and changed. Because if you had grown and changed, you would be attracting a better partner.” (28:29) Links Join Arielle's Masterclass to Attract Your Soulmate Find Arielle Ford Online Check out Areielle's Books Follow Areille on Facebook | Instagram | Twitter   Check out the full episode page Find Dr. Anna Online Follow Dr. Anna on Facebook | Instagram | Twitter

Do you sometimes feel like you are too emotional, too stressed or overly sensitive? You are not alone. In fact, fifteen to twenty percent of the population feel this same way too, and it is not because you are crazy. Dr. Heidi Hanna has devoted her career to finding out exactly why some of us feel this way and is here to today to provide tools to help you manage your stress and live life as a happier highly sensitive person. The chief energy officer of Synergy, a company specializing in brain-based health solutions, as well as the executive director for the American Institute of Stress, founding partner of the Academy for Brain Health and Performance and a NYT bestselling author, Dr. Heidi has cemented her place as a top advisor on the power of using movement, meditation, and mirth to manage your stress over time. Dr. Heidi believes that by defining stress as the gap between your capacity and demand, you can learn how to take your stress and manage it to become a tool of productivity. Dr. Heidi advocates for a curious mindset when it comes to dealing with your stress and finding ways to make your stress work for you. Learn how to achieve stress mastery by viewing stress through your stress load, stress lens and stress signature, three primary questions to ask yourself to determine if you are a highly sensitive person, and how to train your negative bias to be more positive. Whether you’ve never been in a long-term relationship, feel like you need to grab the next man you meet, or you’re finding your way back to life after a divorce, it’s never too late to find love. As our guest, Dr Diana Kirschner, explains, when you’re willing and ready to put yourself out there to find Mr. or Mrs. Right, miracles happen. The perfect mate for you is out there. Dr. Diana is a psychologist and renowned love expert who has helped millions of people find their soulmate, written multiple books, and frequently appeared on TV programs to help the nation find love. Being born into a world where she wasn’t part of a loving family to finding and marrying her soulmate of 35 years, Dr. Diana is definitely someone to admire. She attributes her healthy relationship to all the techniques that she uses in her newly re-released book, Love in 90 Days. These methods include falling deeply in love with yourself, mindful talking and listening exercises with your partner, and being intimate regularly. It’s about restoring our confidence and feeling so comfortable with who you are that your partner never wants to let you go. In this episode, we’re talking about the rule of three and why you need to apply it to every aspect of your dating life. We share how to find the essence of who you are and the importance of renaming yourself. And, maybe most importantly, how you can live with love in your life every single day. I share that after my divorce in 2010, a phrase I felt connected to was “I can’t go back, but I could have stayed in.” Dr. Diana explained to me why this type of thinking is counterproductive to healing after a divorce. And on top of this, why you should be on the lookout for an upgraded model of your ex, a “Jim+”, so to speak. Have you recently gone through a divorce or breakup that’s left you reeling? Are you in love with yourself? How do you prioritize sex in your relationship?   In This Episode: What the Rule of Three is and why it’s important to follow this when you first start dating How you can learn who the essential YOU is and rename her How you can rely on the same inner confidence you’ve had since you were a teenager What the 8 habits of living love are Why you should always prioritize sex with your partner How you can practice listening to your partner for a healthier relationship Where you can search for a new relationship   Quotes: “So even if you're 63, you are feeling like you're 18! You are programming yourself to be the Vivacious Vixen, right? You are dressing that, you are playing with that, and it works! It really, really, really works. And so what happens is you get all the wisdom of your age, but you also get all the youth and vitality which makes you unstoppable.” (9:30) “The friendship is the basis of the whole thing. And if you're alienated, you don't know what's going on with each other. So you don't have the friendship. So you want to really make the friendship happen. And you don't know, so you need to hear. You really need to hear.” (17:19) “There are a number of proven ways to heal heartbreak. Heartbreak actually causes pain in the physical part of the brain that registers physical pain. Like if someone punches you, that same part of the brain registers heartbreak. “So when people told us all the reasons that we couldn't do it, sometimes those reasons come across so powerfully they sound like facts. But they're just opinions. And it's really important to remember that distinction. That they are only opinions.” [10:42] “And the only thing that matters is your reaction to whatever comes up. Because you know in life, in business, stuff's going to come up at some point. You just don't know what it is. And it's all about your reaction, how you deal with that....” [20:05] “I always think that the things that will make you thrive in business, are exactly the same things that will make you thrive in a family.” [25:15] “I've got friends who have got boats who were going to go sailing around the world at the same time as we were. They're still in England, they haven't left because they are waiting for perfect. It doesn't exist. Figure out what are the really big things, get on the way, and then trust yourself, you'll be able to figure out those things as you go along.” [26:46] “The thing that I've learnt, whenever I get to a point where I don't know the answer, I feel the frustration building up in me, map coming down off the wall, that sort of stuff. I now know that's a trigger, I've got to go and learn something.” [31:46]   FOLLOW CASPAR CRAVEN: WEBSITE - https://bit.ly/2NqKE4d TWITTER - https://bit.ly/2zXpRBS LINKEDIN - https://bit.ly/2OF2HZn VIMEO - https://bit.ly/2OFWjB2 INSTAGRAM - https://bit.ly/2QyndIk FACEBOOK - https://bit.ly/2NtXj6y BOOKS MENTIONED IN THIS EPISODE: Where the Magic Happens - https://amzn.to/2y7JlCJ [2:16] Psycho Cybernetics - https://amzn.to/2yjfuJA [9:33] PEOPLE MENTIONED IN THIS EPISODE: Dan Kennedy - https://bit.ly/2PgBf16 [15:17]

Hear a Scotsman share about Scottish culture and Scottish Gaelic translation. More specifically about the historic divide and differences between mainland Scotland culture and history knowledge and the more remote Scottish Highland and Hebrides Islands where things like Scottish Gaelic language has remained woven into daily life and regional culture. This travel podcast episode is a is a rare treat that combines a personal story and also a brief audio lesson in Scottish Gaelic translation. For the Scottish Gaelic audio lesson, you’ll hear specific examples going back to city names in Scotland that were named originally in Gaelic and have certain meaning, but in today’s English speaking world we just think of that as the name of that city, without realizing the Gaelic roots and significance of why the city has that name. By personal story, you will hear a Scotsman's concern over the loss of Gaelic in Scotland over time, coming from a person who grew up speaking Scottish Gaelic. … QUOTES: “So, I do worry about the loss of certain things within the language.” “As the language changes, people just think it’s the name of something rather than having a meaning.” “Inver, in the Gaelic language means, at the end of water.” “So, it was a way of not just naming places, but giving them a description so that when people were traveling they could see it and they would find it.” “I worry that, through that, we'll lose, forget, why things were named and what they were called.” “Portree… it's called Port, as in harbor, and Ree as in the old Gaelic for king.” “I don't want them to be forgotten for that. Dave Woodward taught BYU’s Entrepreneur Class. He revealed 3 secrets to becoming a successful entrepreneur. They are the same 3 secrets ClickFunnels used to blow bast 100 million in total revenue in 3 years. Show Notes Does your current job have anything to do with your major you got in college? Even if you say no, it was still important you got that degree Speed limitation: There’s really no reason for you to go slow A new strategy that you can try is selling the product BEFORE you have it Getting something done is most often better than getting something perfect Important point is to not finish (this really made the college students laugh) With you hiring “A Players” you will save time and money believe it or not If you want to become an “A Player” you have to compete and respond accordingly Quotes: “So often we set these barriers up just by saying ‘You know what I can’t do it'” “Perfection is always going to kill your business, it’s never going to be perfect. Your business is never going to be perfect. Your funnel is never going to be perfect. No matter what you do it’s never going to be perfect so stop trying to make it perfect right now.” “I’m a huge believer in the fact that ideas have fuses and if you don’t implement and get things done quick, that fuse is like a firecracker’s. It will just burn out and then all of a sudden you have a firecracker blowing up in your hand with nothing left.” “By not finishing any of your copy or your content or things like that your mind subconsciously keeps creating it, so by the time you come back to it you’re able to pick it up much much faster.” “It’s a stimulus and response type environment where you might not be able to control the stimulus but you ALWAYS can control the response. So I see that “A Players” have a much better ability at responding to things.” Links: Facebook.com/Dave.Woodward FunnelHackerTV Youtube Channel FunnelHackerRadio.com FunnelHackerRadio.com/freetrial FunnelHackerRadio.com/dreamcar
