You have all the strategies, all the frameworks, and all the tools, but you're still not implementing them. At this point, you know the problem isn't your lack of knowledge. Today I'm switching things up from my usual strategy heavy episodes to tackle the real issue that's keeping you stuck: your mindset around marketing and content creation. After being surrounded by entrepreneurs outside my direct industry, I've realized we're complaining about posting 3 times a week while others are treating content creation like the full-time job it actually is. The truth is, we're headed toward a future where you can't afford to be on just 1 platform anymore, and if you can't manage 2 posts now, you're going to struggle when the standard becomes 6 posts across multiple platforms just to crack six figures. This isn't about adding more to your to-do list, it's about fundamentally shifting how you think about content and marketing in your business. I'm walking you through the exact mindset shifts that have allowed me to expand my marketing platforms and treat content creation like what it actually is: the primary way I make money. From stopping the comparison trap with other niches to understanding why discomfort in content creation is actually data, these shifts will change how you approach your entire marketing strategy. In today's episode, we're talking about: How to reframe every post as a salesperson knocking on 1,000 doors The difference between teaching and selling through content Why comparing your content to other niches is sabotaging your strategy How comfort in content creation is actually preventing your growth The mindset shift from inspiration-based posting to systematic content creation Connect with me: Website Join our email list! Authentic personal branding has never been more important—or more misunderstood. In an era where AI-generated content floods the internet and social media algorithms reward superficial engagement, how can entrepreneurs, founders, and creators cut through the noise and actually connect? That's the question at the heart of this powerful episode of Fordify LIVE! The Business Growth Show, featuring internationally acclaimed filmmaker, spoken word artist, and entrepreneur Prince EA. If you've ever wondered how to build a brand that resonates on a human level, this episode is for you. Prince EA joins Ford Saeks to unpack the mindset and methods behind his global influence, including what it takes to turn passion into purpose, and how authenticity is the greatest differentiator in the marketplace today. With over 2 billion views across his platforms, Prince EA doesn't just talk about authentic personal branding—he lives it. Throughout the episode, Ford and Prince dive into the essential shift from making content to making connection. They explore how intentional storytelling rooted in emotion, clarity, and vulnerability can elevate not only your brand, but your impact. Whether you're a founder, executive, or creator, the conversation reinforces that your most powerful asset isn't a marketing budget or production quality—it's your voice, your story, and your willingness to show up with purpose. Prince EA shares insights into his journey from aspiring musician to viral content creator, and how that pivot came from focusing less on self-promotion and more on service. That mindset is the foundation of authentic personal branding. It's not about being everywhere—it's about being real wherever you are. And as Prince points out, real connection can't be outsourced, delegated, or replicated by automation. Ford adds his own experience working with businesses around the world, emphasizing how too many leaders skip the step of building a genuine brand voice. Together, they highlight that in a world where AI can do almost everything, the human element—empathy, creativity, and clarity—becomes your competitive advantage. The episode doesn't just talk high-level branding theory. It gets into the practical realities of content strategy, digital influence, and the role of platforms like YouTube in building long-term brand equity. From viral video structure to leveraging emotion without manipulation, the conversation is rich with real-world wisdom that can shift how you approach your business and brand immediately. What makes this episode truly powerful is the reminder that authenticity isn't a tactic—it's a commitment. It's about aligning your message, your mission, and your medium. Authentic personal branding isn't just about standing out. It's about standing for something—and allowing that clarity to guide your decisions, content, and communication. Whether you're just starting out or looking to amplify your message in a crowded market, this episode offers a refreshing take on what it means to build influence that lasts. Prince EA's grounded insights paired with Ford's business growth strategies deliver a conversation that's both inspiring and actionable. Don't miss this impactful episode with Prince EA. Estelle is a University of Memphis School of Law graduate and is also the Founder of Estelle Winsett Professional Image Consulting. Estelle's journey is a fascinating one, and also one that resonated deeply with me. From litigation attorney, to lawyer headhunter, director of career services and professional development, to now, landing where her true passion lies, as a Professional Image Consultant. Estelle's journey is proof that there truly is no one straight path in anyone's journey. Estelle and I started leading up to her entrance into the University of Memphis School of Law. Coming from a family of lawyers, including her father, by the 5th grade, she knew she wanted to be a lawyer. Seeing her dad help people inspired her to want to do the same. We then spoke about her first year in Law School, which was a whole different experience and took time to adjust to. We continued through her Law School career, into her Legal career, where participating in Moot Court would drive her towards a career in litigation. Following Law School, Estelle would spend 6 years litigating before realizing that many unhappy lawyers around her, and wanting to get away, she became a Client Relations and placement director for Counsel on Call, a job that would lay the foundations for her future positions. Estelle then spoke about her experiences up to today, with a fantastic story about how she got the job as the dean of career services at her alma mater, Memphis, how she became the director of professional development at Butler Snow, and finally, what she does today as the founder of Estelle Winsett Professional Image Consulting. This episode shows the importance of crafting a story through how we look and how we feel, and the real science backing that fact! 76% of buyers Google you before they reach out. If your brand isn't showing them the real you, it might be holding you back more than you think. In this episode, I sat down with Chris at FlowChat to talk about one of my favorite topics: how personal branding and your identity as a founder shape every part of your business, from the copy on your homepage to the culture inside your team. What Personal Branding Really Means Personal branding isn't about being loud online or showing up a certain way. It's about alignment. I define personal branding as a cocktail of three things: your essence, your reputation, and your marketing. That combination is what creates an authentic brand people connect with. In this conversation, I share how tools like 360 brand feedback help founders uncover their true strengths and why that feedback often holds the key to differentiation. Why Founder Identity Shapes the Entire Business Whether you're a solopreneur or leading a growing team, your identity sets the tone for everything. From the moment a client lands on your site to the way your team handles support emails, your brand is shaped by who you are. In this episode, I talk about how understanding your values, energy, and purpose helps create a brand that's not just consistent, but powerful. Enjoy this episode… Soundbytes 17:05 - 17:19 “Every touch point a potential customer or an actual customer has with your company is an interaction that's going to leave that customer with a point of view, with an opinion about your brand.” 02:32 - 02:59 “So I define personal brand as a cocktail, and it's a mixture of your essence, your personality, your true self, your reputation, because that always supersedes you, and then combining that with marketing, and marketing is a million different things. So, what are you comfortable with, and how are you comfortable marketing your product or service? So that's how I define personal branding. It's, it's a mix of several things.” Quotes “One thing I believe wholeheartedly is that the attributes of a founder are very much the attributes of a company.” “You can't do personal branding properly if you don't tap into who the person is behind the company.” Links mentioned in this episode: Connect with brandiD Easy Tips to Adjust your website: https://buildmybrandid.com/website-tweaks/ Personality Quiz: https://content.leadquizzes.com/lp/jqgbMsr00g Ready to elevate your digital presence with a powerful brand or website? Send us a textFrom flipping dosas to flipping the script on who belongs in space, Dr. Srimathy Kesan's journey defies expectations at every turn. After 18 years as a homemaker who could barely remember her English vocabulary, a chance meeting with an old friend led to a Miami conference and an encounter with NASA that would change everything."Space chooses you," says Dr. Kesan, the founder of Space Kidz India and the only woman in the world to have launched 27 space missions. Her organization began by taking Indian children to space centers around the world, but she quickly realized that wasn't enough. "What are they going to do next?" she wondered. Despite having no technical background, she decided to teach children to build satellites—and the scientific establishment laughed. They're not laughing anymore. When Dr. Kesan and her team of rural teenagers created Kalamsat, the world's lightest satellite at just 64 grams, the international space community took notice. Later, when the Indian Space Research Organization challenged her to build a satellite in just six days—during a major festival when most of India was closed—she made 580 phone calls to gather components and pulled off what seemed impossible. Now she's embarking on her most ambitious project yet: Mission Shakti Sat, which is educating 12,000 girls from 108 countries about satellite building. One girl from each country will travel to India to build a payload destined for the moon. The project operates on small donations rather than major funding, embodying Dr. Kesan's belief that "every girl needs to sit at the table" where decisions are made.As "Space Mom" to children worldwide, she receives voice messages from girls in remote villages saying, "I don't want to go to school, I just want to do this mission." Her work proves that space exploration isn't just for wealthy nations or scientists with advanced degrees—it's for everyone with the courage to look up at the night sky and dream.Ready to help launch the next generation of space explorers? Even a small donation can help these girls reach the moon and beyond. Thanks for tuning in to this episode of Follow The Brand! Building a Brand That Opens Doors In this episode, I sit down with Serah, a former child actor turned personal branding expert and AI business strategist, to explore why personal branding isn't a “nice-to-have” anymore — it's the engine that drives your career and business forward. We swap real-world examples from heavy-hitters like Sara Blakely, Kendra Scott, and Elon Musk, showing how the right brand identity can multiply your impact, influence, and income. From overcoming the fear of self-promotion to navigating humility without hiding your brilliance, Serah breaks down the mindset shifts that every entrepreneur and professional needs to make to be seen, heard, and trusted. The Fear Factor: Rejection, Imperfection, and the Art of Showing Up We talk about the paralysis that comes from worrying about how your work will be received — and why you need to release it anyway. I share why I tell authors to publish their books without obsessing over reviews, because your unique perspective is what makes the work valuable. We even take a detour into pop culture, unpacking the mixed reviews of Amazon Prime Video's “War of the Worlds” and how audience reaction doesn't always match actual value. Creativity, Algorithms, and Authentic Connection Putting yourself out there creatively isn't easy. Serah and I dive into the messy reality of criticism, algorithm-driven visibility, and the rising hunger for authentic human connection in a world leaning heavily on AI. We explore why imperfection isn't a liability — it's proof you're human and relatable. Speaking Up — Even When You're Not Ready I share a personal story about how a college presentation — given while I had chicken pox — became the turning point in my public speaking journey. The standing ovation I received despite my appearance taught me one lesson I've carried for life: never let fear silence you. From Self-Sabotage to Vision-Driven Growth Serah and I connect the dots between personal branding, risk-taking, and the inner work needed to break free from limiting beliefs. We talk about creating a vivid future self-identity, setting meaningful goals, and tackling the invisible barriers that hold so many back. The throughline? Success comes when you decide to play bigger — and actually step onto the stage you've been avoiding. Resources & Connections Serah shares her own platforms, including her personal brand hub sarahdelaine.com, her Stage 8 agency for marketing services, and her Profitable Personal Brand newsletter. Whether you're an entrepreneur, leader, or creative, this conversation will give you the clarity — and the push — to own your story and amplify your presence. About Serah D'Laine From Hollywood Red Carpet to Reinvention Serah D'Laine's entrepreneurial life once revolved around her Hollywood career. She was a successful actress, known for gracing the screen with roles in feature films, network television, and national commercials. Working since she was 13 years old, her world was immersed with auditions, scripts, and the glitz, glamour, and chaos of the entertainment industry. From the outside, it looked like she had it all—a successful acting career many dream of, red carpets, recognition, and a foot in the door of fame. But beneath the surface, Serah felt a deep void. The Hollywood lifestyle didn't align with her desire for meaningful life.Growing up in Hollywood brought a measure of success she enjoyed, she started to feel like she was playing a role not just on screen but in her own life. There was a lingering feeling that something deeper was missing—a sense of purpose, alignment, and fulfillment that no amount of celebrity could provide.... Then came the moment that changed everything: a near-death experience. A single, life-altering event that ripped away the illusions she had built her life around. Waking nearly every night in a panic from PTS - It left her with one haunting realization: she wasn't living her truth. She felt a pull—call it intuition, destiny, or divine intervention—to walk away from the world she knew and reinvent herself entirely. The vision of a new path—a fusion of personal growth, branding, and impact—emerged. But stepping into the unknown was terrifying. Could she leave her career, identity, and comfort zone behind to build something entirely new?..... "one of the hardest decisions of my life, to put a successful 15 year career on hold + finally listen to “HER”, my true self." Her journey has prepared her for this role as a brand strategist, business coach, and leadership mentor. She has reinvented herself not once but multiple times, and her success was the ultimate validation that this was her destined path. What makes Serah different? Her brand isn't built on theories; it's built on experience. She knows the highs and lows of reinvention because she's lived them. And now, she's here to guide others to their own version of success. Today, Serah D'Laine stands as a speaker in psychology-based branding, business growth strategy, and leadership. Through Stage IIX, iSCALE CRM, and her Profitable Personal Brand Formula and L.E.A.D Method, she offers clients the tools to build authentic brands, achieve financial freedom, and align their businesses with their highest selves. Her journey—marked by reinvention, resilience, and results—makes her uniquely qualified to guide others. She isn't just a coach; she's a testament to the power of transformation, proving that anyone can rise, pivot, and thrive when they align their purpose with their work. "The million dollar tip that “Hollywood” taught me, that is probably one of the most important things I use to succeed in your business.....IT'S ALL ABOUT POSITIONING!!!

Send us a textThe moment Aaron Plush was pulled from his second-grade classroom to test early Macintosh computers, his path in technology was set. This formative experience sparked a journey that would lead him through global program management roles and transformational leadership positions at major corporations like Citrix.Aaron brings a refreshingly authentic approach to the complex world of project management and organizational transformation. His methodology begins with something surprisingly simple yet often overlooked: listening. "There's no bigger mistake any leader can make than implementing change without understanding the organization's landscape," he explains. This people-centric philosophy has become his hallmark in an industry often dominated by technical solutions seeking problems. What makes Aaron's approach particularly powerful is his integrated leadership style that seamlessly blends faith, discipline, and business acumen. When managing high-stakes initiatives, he maintains perspective through methodical execution: "We don't take the entire plate and throw it in our face. We do it bite-sized pieces." This calm, measured approach, combined with radical accountability, has proven effective across Fortune 500 companies and complex technology implementations. His perspective on emerging technologies like AI is equally thoughtful. Rather than focusing on the technology itself, Aaron emphasizes understanding the problem first, then leveraging AI as an enhancement tool. "It's about using technology for the purposes of what you need it for," he advises, encouraging adoption without fear.Perhaps most compelling is Aaron's commitment to developing others. When asked what qualities he looks for in mentees, his answer is striking: "I don't." Anyone expressing a desire to grow receives his support, regardless of their current position or potential. This generosity of spirit extends to his view of success itself—"my journey is about bringing others along with me."Connect with Aaron at www.aaronrplush.com or through his Authentic Realness podcast to learn more about his approach to leadership, technology, and personal development. His story reminds us that even in our increasingly digital world, authentic human connection remains the foundation of meaningful transformation. Thanks for tuning in to this episode of Follow The Brand! Why would you wait any longer to start living the lifestyle you signed up for? Balance your health, wealth, relationships and business growth. And focus your time and energy and make the most of this year. Let's get into it by clicking here. Troy delves into our guest's startup journey, their perception of success, industry reconsideration, and the pivotal stress point during business expansion. They discuss the joys of small business growth, vital entrepreneurial habits, and strategies for team building, encompassing wins, blunders, and invaluable advice. And a snapshot of the final five Grow A Small Business Questions: What do you think is the hardest thing in growing a small business? Chris M. Walker shared that the hardest thing in growing a small business is constantly keeping the balance between bringing in enough business without breaking the systems, while still delivering a high-quality product or service. What's your favorite business book that has helped you the most? Chris M. Walker shared that his favorite business book that has helped him the most is the Steve Jobs biography by Walter Isaacson. He mentioned it taught him a lot about what to do—and what not to do—especially in leadership and dealing with people. Are there any great podcasts or online learning resources you'd recommend to help grow a small business? Chris M. Walker shared that he doesn't listen to many podcasts regularly, but he did give a shoutout to the "Grow A Small Business" podcast itself. He emphasized that most of his learning has come from personal experience, books, and courses, rather than relying heavily on external podcast resources. What tool or resource would you recommend to grow a small business? Chris M. Walker recommended ChatGPT as the number one tool to help grow a small business. He said that a $20 ChatGPT subscription is more valuable than any other tool you'll ever buy, highlighting its ability to save time, boost productivity, and simplify complex tasks. What advice would you give yourself on day one of starting out in business? Chris M. Walker shared that the advice he would give himself on day one of starting out in business is to figure out his long-term goal before doing anything else. He emphasized that without a clear direction, it's easy to fall into the trap of constantly chasing short-term wins, reacting to problems, and making poor decisions. According to him, having a long-term vision helps avoid getting stuck in survival mode and allows for more intentional, strategic growth. Ever catch yourself in a room full of people but feeling like you're not really connecting?Like you're shaking hands, swapping business cards, maybe even following each other on Instagram, but it's all surface-level?In this episode of The Happy Hustle Podcast, I'm diving deep into the network effect—how to build relationships that matter and create real momentum in your life and business. This isn't about being a “networking guru” or collecting the most LinkedIn connections. It's about genuine, value-driven connections that lift you and open doors you didn't even know existed. Over the years, I've been blessed to build friendships with eight-figure entrepreneurs, pro athletes, celebrities, and industry leaders—not by chasing them down, but by showing up authentically, serving first, and playing the long game. And that's exactly what I'm sharing in this episode: the mindset, the framework, and the ninja hacks to level up your network without feeling fake or forced. One of the biggest lessons? Your network is like a bank account—you've gotta make consistent deposits before you can ever make a withdrawal. That means finding ways to add value first, whether it's solving a small problem, sending a thoughtful gift, or making an introduction that could be a game-changer for someone else. Relationships thrive when they're rooted in genuine care, not just what you can get out of them.Another big takeaway is the importance of engaging with intention. Don't be that spammy DM person or the fan who only asks for favors. Start small—comment on their posts, share their work, send a short video or audio message. These personal touches break through the noise and show that you're a real human, not just another contact request.I also share why you should connect like-minded people in your network, even when it doesn't directly benefit you. Some of my strongest relationships were built on simply being the bridge between two people who could help each other. The value you create in those moments always comes back around. And here's a hack you can start using today: stop sleeping on new connections. There's a short window after you meet someone where the relationship is most likely to stick. Snap a photo together, text it to them right away, and set a next step—coffee, a Zoom chat, whatever keeps the momentum going. If you've ever felt like networking was awkward, inauthentic, or just not your thing, this episode will flip that script. It's not about working the room—it's about working on the relationships that will grow with you over time.So if you're ready to turn casual contacts into powerful partnerships, tune in now. Summary In this candid live-stream conversation, Andy chats with content creator and project leader Stuart Taylor, the mind behind the Influential PMO platform and the Stuart Taylor Project YouTube channel. They dig into the difference between influencers and thought leaders, how to choose topics that genuinely help practitioners, and what to do when metrics don't match the effort. Stuart shares practical strategies for building professional visibility on LinkedIn and YouTube, including how to craft resonant messages, handle trolls, and focus on service over self-promotion. The discussion also explores Stuart's experiment asking whether AI could manage a project. Spoiler: AI is a strong team member for first drafts and research, but a weak project manager. They wrap with career advice for today's shifting job market, including why to think like an internal consultant and how to future-proof your career by learning in public. If you're looking for insights on personal branding, creator tactics, and AI's real role in project work, this episode is for you! Sound Bites Regarding AI: "It cannot be the project manager. It's spineless. It is a weakling leader." In this episode of Confessions of a B2B Entrepreneur, host Jamie Pagan, from the Revenue Career Ladder podcast, speaks with Tom Hunt, founder of the B2B podcasting agency Fame. They discuss Tom's unconventional career journey, beginning with early jobs frying chips and washing dishes, which instilled a strong work ethic. The conversation traces his path through large consulting firms like Ernst & Young, and Accenture, where he learned invaluable soft skills and remote management. It then covers his entrepreneurial ventures, from a failed male leggings company to a successful SaaS business, before he finally doubled down on his passion for marketing and audience building to create Fame. This episode provides an honest and tactical look at how a non-linear career path can lead to entrepreneurial success.
Sometimes you've got to ditch the rules, rewrite the playbook and start to DO IT YOUR WAY! That's where I found myself after 10 years working in the corporate world. I was tired of working 8-5pm (really it was more like 7:30am-6:30pm) and having no control over my time. Even if I wrapped up for the day, I was expected to sit at my desk because that is what the leadership team did to set an example for the others. Over time, the stress of working so much and having two little kids got to me and eventually had me reevaluate what was important in my life. I decided there wasn't a boss in the world that would let me off work to go do all of the things I wanted to do when I wanted to do them so I became an entrepreneur. It's time you started to write your own rules. Want to work from 9-2pm every day? Do it! Give yourself permission to have different seasons in life. Sometimes you are working 12 hour days to launch and build a million dollar business. Other times, it's ok to take a sigh and make family a priority while revenue stays flat. Do what feels right to you! What if success wasn't about climbing someone else's ladder… but building your own? In this episode of the DO IT MY WAY podcast, we're redefining what success really means—without the hustle guilt, the comparison trap, or the need for approval. You'll hear the real talk every female founder needs: how to break the rules, trust your gut, and finally feel like enough, no matter what your revenue says. Because success isn't a title. It's doing life and business on your terms.
Most entrepreneurs make business decisions based solely on sales data. But I've learned that auditing your entire marketing ecosystem gives you a much clearer picture of what's actually working and what needs to change. In today's episode, I'm walking you through the comprehensive marketing audit framework I use to make informed business decisions in my seven-figure creative agency. This isn't about analyzing individual content performance. It's about taking a 360-degree view of your messaging, positioning, funnel, brand perception, and systems to understand why certain offers aren't converting or why you're attracting unqualified leads. I'm sharing how this audit approach helped me realize that people were buying our rebrand service first, then Sales Studio, when I wanted Sales Studio to be the entry point. That insight led me to completely reposition Sales Studio as campaign support that helps people make money, which then funds their rebrand investment. You'll learn the 5 key areas I audit: service and audience alignment messaging and positioning content performance conversion points in your funnel visual branding consistency Plus, I'm breaking down how to use these findings to make strategic decisions about offer direction, platform focus, and whether you need new systems or just need to double down on what's already working. In this episode, we're chatting about: • The 5-part marketing audit framework • How I repositioned Sales Studio • Beyond vanity metrics • How audit findings should inform offer direction, platform focus, and resource allocation Connect with me: Website Join our email list! Send us a textWhat if your fitness tracker could revolutionize not just your health habits, but the entire healthcare system? This fascinating conversation with João Bocas, globally recognized as "The Wearable Expert," explores how wearable technology might democratize healthcare and shift power dynamics toward consumers.João shares his remarkable journey from Portuguese immigrant with no English skills to renowned healthcare innovation consultant. His path was shaped by a powerful personal transformation—moving from an unhealthy lifestyle of excessive drinking and smoking in his twenties to becoming a passionate advocate for wellness technology. "I'm a 25 or 26-year-old man and I feel like I'm 60 already," he recalls thinking at his turning point. This revelation sparked a lifelong commitment to health and eventually led him to pioneer work in digital health. The discussion dives deep into wearable technology's evolution from primitive pedometers to sophisticated health monitoring devices. João emphasizes that technology alone isn't the solution—behavioral change remains the critical foundation for health improvement. "The wearable is not the miracle. The miracle lies with us, our will, our desire, our self-care," he explains. This perspective cuts through the hype surrounding health tech and focuses on its true purpose: enabling better decisions.Perhaps most compelling is João's vision for healthcare's future. He foresees a world where individuals own their health data and use it to negotiate more equitable insurance premiums. "I exercise five times a week. Why shall I pay the same premium as someone who exercises once a week and smokes?" This potential power shift represents a fundamental disruption to traditional healthcare economics, particularly relevant to markets like the United States where insurance costs remain a significant burden.Whether you're a healthcare professional, technology enthusiast, or simply someone interested in taking control of your wellness journey, this conversation offers valuable insights into how personal responsibility and technological innovation might reshape healthcare for everyone.
