Marsh Moyle is an interesting man. He’s an Englishman but he grew up in Malta. He and his wife Tuula lived for 17 years in Vienna when the Iron Curtain divided Europe. There they organised book translation and distribution while researching the beliefs, practices, and problems of life under communism. In the post-communist period, they lived in Slovakia for 16 years, establishing publishing houses in seven countries. They also ran a learning community and held seminars with student groups in Central Europe, Russia, and Ukraine, committed to awakening the imagination, encouragng critical thinking, and fostering a deeper practical understanding of biblical ideas. Marsh is the author of Rumours of a Better Country: Searching for Trust and Community in a Time of Moral Outrage. In this episode, Marsh and Jonathan Rogers talk about utopianism, individualism, and the surprising truth that we can only be our true, distinct selves when our selves are shaped by the people around us.Support the show: https://therabbitroom.givingfuel.com/memberSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Day 1,435.Today, as President Zelensky warns that Russia is preparing “a new massive strike”, we examine growing speculation that an undeclared truce may be in place regarding strikes on energy infrastructure. We then turn to the Russian press, where a local war memorial in the Urals appears to have inadvertently revealed the true scale of Russian casualties, and an unlikely scandal involving a baker that has caused fresh embarrassment for Vladimir Putin. And finally, we report on the launch of a new blood bank aimed at alleviating Ukraine's mounting medical crises.ContributorsFrancis Dearnley (Executive Editor for Audio). @FrancisDearnley on X.Dominic Nicholls (Associate Editor of Defence). @DomNicholls on X.James Kilner (Foreign Correspondent). @jkjourno on X.With thanks to Toby Illingworth (Founder & Head of Mission for Yashchenko Foundation). @tobyillingworthSIGN UP TO THE ‘UKRAINE: THE LATEST' WEEKLY NEWSLETTER:http://telegraph.co.uk/ukrainenewsletter Each week, Dom Nicholls and Francis Dearnley answer your questions, provide recommended reading, and give exclusive analysis and behind-the-scenes insights – plus maps of the frontlines and diagrams of weapons to complement our daily reporting. Rumours have been swirling that Nicola Peltz receives a monthly allowance from her billionaire dad Nelson Peltz, even though she's 31 years old. An English journalist just confirmed the tea on a podcast, claiming Nelson allegedly told someone he gives his daughter a cool million dollars... every single month. That's $12 million a year if you're doing the math at home, which is more than most people will see in a lifetime. Must be nice having a dad worth $2.5 billion.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

2026-01-26 | UPDATES #113 | “Treason” in the PLA? Xi's unprecedented purge — corruption, loyalty, and coup rumours. Today's story is not “just another corruption scandal” in China. This is the Chinese Communist Party reaching up into the absolute top of the People's Liberation Army — right into the room where war plans live — and yanking out two senior figures in one move. Top figures in fact. Beijing's official language is clipped. The implications are not. China's defence ministry says it has opened investigations into General Zhang Youxia — a vice chairman of the Central Military Commission, effectively the uniformed number two under Xi Jinping — and General Liu Zhenli, a CMC member and chief of the Joint Staff Department. This week, our co-hosts come together for the first time in 2026 to catch up in true CTR fashion. Rumour mill gossip, what the lads have been up to & their plans for this year and previewing BSB, WSBK, MotoGP and Road Racing to truly try & fill the motorcycle racing void that is currently taking over off season life - there is a lot to digest! We also wanted to use this episode, with the boys back together, to share the news that Dom won't be returning to the pod in 2026. As a team, we only received confirmation after our last recording, following some time waiting to hear back from him, and felt it was important to keep you all in the loop. It was clearly a difficult decision for Dom, but we respect his reasons and wish him nothing but the best for the season ahead. It's been an incredible journey with CTR so far, and the rest of the lads, along with the Rouse family, remain focused on carrying forward Chrissy's legacy in the only way we know how. The only constant in life is change and we hope this leads the pod in a fresh direction with these lads flying the flag whilst staying true to CTR's core. William visits an Earthshot finalist in Bristol and reacts strongly to microplastics captured from washing machines, while social media chatter about the Waleses' marriage gets swatted away by a royal expert framing their new comms hire as strategy, not crisis. Plus, a closer look at Kate aide Natalie Barrows, and the story behind William's long-standing golf scar.Palace Intrigue is your daily royal family podcast, diving deep into the modern-day drama, power struggles, and scandals shaping the future of the monarchy.Hear our new show "Crown and Controversy: Prince Andrew" here.Check out "Palace Intrigue Presents: King WIlliam" here.

Is 2026 the new 2016? It's Friday afternoon, which means a fresh episode of Oilersnation Radio is ready to massage your eardrums with an hour of off-season Oilers talk. On today's podcast, the fellas discussed Tristan Jarry's injury, the Oilers' recall of Isaac Howard and Quinn Hutson, additional injury updates, line combos, and more.We kicked off the Friday episode of ONR with a delicious debate about Connor McDavid's 17-game point streak and whether this is the best the boys have ever seen him play. Given that the captain has produced a mind-boggling 41 points over that stretch is absolutely ridiculous, but is this the best hockey he's ever played? There are a few options to choose from. Regardless of your thoughts, there is little doubt that No. 97 has gone supernova, and none of us wants him to walk away from the table.Shifting gears, the guys looked at Thursday's win over the Jets and how Winnipeg looked so shell-shocked as the game rolled along. Given that the Oilers were down 3-1 after 20 minutes and came roaring back to win, you have to appreciate the way the boys didn't fold their hand. And while some argue that they should beat the Jets because of how bad they are, expecting to win and fighting back from a 3-1 deficit are two different things. Finally, we wrapped up the Friday episode of ONR with another round of Ask the Idiots, betting talk for our friends at bet365, and Hot and Cold Performers to look back on the week that was. With the 2025-26 season now past the halfway mark, the guys spent the bulk of the podcast moving through a range of topics, some related to the Oilers and others not, but that's the way things go on the Friday episode of ONR. It's been another wild week around here with the Oilers rollercoaster making another loop, and I've got a fresh episode of Better Lait Than Never ready to recap it all. On today's podcast, I talked about Ryan Nugent-Hopkins' 500th assist, more Andrew Mangiapane trade rumours, healthy scratches, Connor McDavid's heater, and much more.I kicked off this week's episode with a look at Ryan Nugent-Hopkins reaching the 500 assist mark in Tuesday's game against the Nashville Predators. Nuge isn't the flashiest player on the roster with Connor and Leon ahead of him, but that didn't stop me from gushing about my guy for a few minutes as he inches closer to 1000 NHL games. I also looked at Kasperi Kapanen's comeback and how quickly he made an impact. From there, I had to touch on the frustration many of us felt yesterday when we saw that both Andrew Mangiapane and Trent Frederic were healthy scratches against the Preds. And the worst part? It didn't look like it mattered. Finally, I wrapped up this week's episode of BLTN with a guest Righteous Sack Beating, then closed out the podcast with another round of voicemails. The voicemail was alive this week, and everyone's takes were all over the map and very fun for me to listen to. The voicemail is the best way to wrap up the show and give everyone a chance to share their thoughts. Another hearty thank you to everyone who contributed to this week's episode. Having all of you in the mix makes the show so much better.Want to leave a voicemail for next week's show? Do it here!
Episode 400: In October 1894, 18-year-old Frank Westwood was shot on the doorstep of his Parkdale home. The killing shocked Toronto and sparked a frantic search for a suspect. Weeks later, a mixed-race tailor named Clara Ford walked into a Toronto police station and was quickly accused of the murder. With no weapon, no motive, and a disputed confession, her trial exposed deep racial bias and divided the city. We start with the headline story: the transfer rumour that just became real. Oscar Onley has officially left Picnic‑PostNL and is set to join INEOS Grenadiers after a major contract buyout — a move that reshapes the British team's future and signals a new era of big‑money transfers in the WorldTour. We also break down the newly revealed La Vuelta route, looking at the key mountain stages, GC flashpoints, and what the course design tells us about how the race might unfold.Next up: new kits. INEOS and Lidl‑Trek have both dropped fresh designs for the upcoming season — we look at the colours, the tech, and the early fan reactions. And finally, we check in on Mathieu van der Poel's cyclocross dominance. His form, his rivals, and what this run means heading into the spring classics. If you ride, race, or just love staying plugged into the pro peloton, this episode has everything you need.If you have just started your cycling journey, you can get your Beginner Cyclist Toolkit Here. It's packed full of information and advice to get you started safely on your journey.
It's been another wild week around here with the Oilers rollercoaster making another loop, and I've got a fresh episode of Better Lait Than Never ready to recap it all. On today's podcast, I talked about the Oilers year in review, Andrew Mangiapane trade rumours, Calvin Pickard, Connor McDavid's heater, and much more.I kicked off this week's episode with a look at the Andrew Mangiapane trade rumours that kicked off this past week. Given that we haven't even made it to the midway point of his first season as an Oiler, it's hard to understand why these UFA veterans keep going sideways once they land in Edmonton. Is it a role thing? Is it too hard to play with Connor or Leon? I also spent some time on Calvin Pickard's incredible showing against the Winnipeg Jets, and gave the Oilers' backup plenty of love for stepping up when the team needed him. Is our pal Cal doing enough to save his Oilers career? Finally, I wrapped up this week's episode of BLTN with a guest Righteous Sack Beating, then closed out the podcast with another round of voicemails. The voicemail was quiet again this week, but everyone's takes were still all over the map and very fun to listen to. The voicemail is my favourite way to wrap up the show and give everyone a chance to share their thoughts. Another hearty thank you to everyone who contributed to this week's episode. Having all of you in the mix makes the show so much better.Want to leave a voicemail for next week's show? Do it here!

In this episode, we break down Tottenham's disastrous performance against Liverpool and ask where it all went wrong for Spurs. We also dive into Manchester City's relentless dominance and whether anyone in the Premier League can realistically slow them down. Plus, we unpack the ongoing troubles surrounding the Italian Super Cup — Milan and inter knocked out by Napoli and Bologna.

Meghan Markle is back in the satirical firing line as Spitting Image mocks her As Ever marmalade as “woke,” with a Paddington-style bear warning she is “on my turf now.” Meanwhile, mixed reporting fuels the usual “are they going back” drama: one set of sources claims Meghan would only consider a UK return “for the right price,” while Rob Shuter insists she has “zero intention” of moving the children back across the Atlantic. Megyn Kelly piles on with fresh criticism of the Sussexes' post-royal branding, as commentators debate whether their Hollywood clout is fading. After the break, Queen Camilla faces a Christmas without both of her children this year, continues her long-running Buckingham Palace tree-decorating tradition for seriously ill children, and admits binge-watching Rivals helped her recover from pneumonia. Plus, new photos from Clarence House offer a rare look at the King's private world, including a prominently placed picture of Charles holding Prince George at his christening—and a reminder of how distant he remains from Archie and Lilibet.Hear our new show "Crown and Controversy: Prince Andrew" here.Check out "Palace Intrigue Presents: King WIlliam" here.

On-ice testing in Milan is set for early January, with the building's completion now targeted for Feb. 2. There are concerns about the ice quality during testing in a building that may not be 100% sealed, and frustration from NHL owners who built their schedule around the Olympic break. In Vancouver, Quinn Hughes trade chatter keeps escalating after he casually called Devils GM Tom Fitzgerald “Fitzy,” though Ray says that specific angle is nonsense even if a future trade might be real. The Devils look lost without Jack Hughes, and the ongoing speculation appears to be weighing on Quinn, who’s trying to do too much on a struggling Canucks team. Toronto grabbed a tight 2–0 win amid a wildly tight standings picture, but a messy melee might bring a suspension for Bobby McCann after a high slash on Bjorkstrand; Ray thinks it should be more than one game and continues to advocate for harsher discipline. Finally, Dregs’ informal poll of GMs rates Colorado and Dallas as the NHL’s model organizations, praised for consistent contention, strong drafting and front-office continuity rooted in past dynasty influences.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
