Yo what's up this is toru and in a way so are you.For those of you who don't know me, I'm a music producer, artist, and entrepreneur.I make music for that space between the dance floor and the bedroom, which has been streamed millions of times and licensed by brands big and small, including companies like Apple.I believe that regardless of what you produce, whether it be music, art, physical goods, or even spreadsheets, you have a process, whether you know it or not.To explore this further, I created The ProducerHead Podcast.ProducerHead is a place to have conversations with Producers about their experience and process to share what works and what doesn't. To help each of us learn and improve our own processes along the way.Today's guest is Eric Boulanger, a professional mastering engineer and founder of The Bakery, a Los Angeles-based mastering studio.Eric has mastered GRAMMY-award winning and nominated projects, including work with Green Day, Hozier, Selena Gomez, The Doors...and the list goes on.I won't spoil the surprise, but Eric even had the chance to re-master a beloved childhood record. If that weren't enough,Eric was mentored by industry legend Al Schmitt, who, if you don't already know, won GRAMMYs for projects that include:George Benson's Breezin',Toto's Toto IV,Qunicy Jones' Q's Jook Joint,Luis Miguel's Amarte Es Un Placer,Ray Charles Genius Loves Company,Chick Corea's The Ultimate Adventure, andSteely Dan's Aja.I mean. That is a list. And, for the record that is not a complete list.In this conversation we dive into - Learning to trust your own ears and preferences. - His take on digital v. analog gear in creating quality music. - How knowledge of mastering can influence your production and mixing work. - Some of his favorite tools and plug-ins - Selecting reference tracks for your own mixes and masters. - His experience as a musician and its ongoing role in his life and career. - The importance of resting your ears outside of work. What I really appreciate about Eric and this conversation is what seems to be a strongly held belief to not offer shortcuts and tactics. Instead, Eric presents questions that encourage us to think and further develop our own working philosophies as well as our ears. I'm stoked to share this episode with you. It is full of gems.Alright, here we go, Episode 7 of ProducerHead with Eric Boulanger, starts now. That's it for this episode of ProducerHead. Appreciate you coming through and being a part of it. My hope is that it helps you unlock a bit more creativity and find progress in a way that matters to you. Before we go:There are three simple and zero cost ways to support the ProducerHead Podcast.1 - Tap in and subscribe or follow wherever you're listening, whether it be Spotify or Apple.2- If you haven't already, drop a review on Apple or Spotify. The feedback is appreciated and helps me continue to do what's working while improving along the way.3 - Send this episode to one person who would enjoy it. Do not underestimate the power of word of mouth. The most old school of methods are often the most effective. Finally, let's stay connected:I regularly share ideas that help me develop my creative process along with music recommendations, and even give away free music and sample packs. Doctor Who The Ultimate Adventure 23 march 1986
Looks Unfamiliar is a podcast in which writer and occasional broadcaster Tim Worthington talks to a guest about some of the things that they remember that nobody else ever seems to.This time Tim's the guest, celebrating sixty years of Doctor Who by joining Paul Abbott for a chat about Pickwick Talking Books' Doctor Who: State Of Decay, the 1978 BBC version of Pinocchio, Doctor Who: Variations On A Theme, Jon Pertwee radio serials The Paradise Of Death and The Ghosts Of N-Space, the Doctor Who stage musical The Ultimate Adventure, Billie Piper's turn in The Sally Lockhart Mysteries, forgotten mid-sixties regular character Katarina, David Tennant and Catherine Tate in Much Ado About Nothing, Jodie Whittaker's introductory mini-episode Meet The Thirteenth Doctor, that time a Dalek turned up on the BBC Schools programme W.A.L.R.U.S. and Doctor Who: The Interactive Electronic Board Game. Along the way we'll be pondering the difference between a Square CD and a 'Square' CD, attempting to steer a 90Mph Dalek, averting a Radio Times listing for Starved Robin Askwith, evaluating a proper professional synthesiser against one demonstrated by 'the man' in Tandy and securing Jon Pertwee's autograph only upside down. You can find further appearances by Tim as the guest on Looks Unfamiliar talking about The Only Way by Lisa Stansfield, The Brain, Jackanory's live action adaptation of Starstormers, a Public Information Film about boat safety, I Was Made To Love Magic by Nick Drake, Secrets From The School Underground, Skyman and Rubovia here, Stop-Go!, It's A Shame by Kris Kross, Spider-Woman, I Wanted To See You To See If I Wanted You by Moose, The ITV Encyclopedia Of Adventure, The Young Poisoner's Handbook, the original version of Right Here by SWV and Radio Tip Top here, California Fever, Galloping Galaxies!, Bad Ronald, In-Flight Entertainment, The Chronicles Of Narmo by Caitlin Moran, Pirate Radio Four, The Collings And Herrin Podcast and What's That Noise? here, I Was Born On Christmas Day by Saint Etienne Featuring Tim Burgess, Ferrero Prestige, Bod's Present, A Merry Jingle by The Greedies, Doctor Who: The Christmas Invasion by Jenny T. In our Mysticast conversation with Wayne Saalman https://waynesaalman.com/ author, philosopher and metaphysician who has deeply studied the roots of humanity's many global religions, as well as the numerous secret societies and metaphysical writings of the world's mystics, yogis and wisdom masters. Wayne, a natural storyteller, spoke in a very relaxed and interesting way, sharing his unique experiences with the paranormal. When Debra enquired why he chose to write his first 4 books in the form of a fiction adventure his refreshing response was that he was still studying the works of mystics, yogis and wisdom masters and it was safer to express himself in the comfortable framework of fiction. He went on to explain that his next books would be Non Fiction based on his own experiences, his aim is to deliver his truth in an easy light hearted manner to make it more digestible than the ancient texts he has studied. The biggest similarities between Wayne's discoveries and the teachings of The Aetherius Society was revealed in the Nine Freedoms and in particular the Sixth Freedom Ascension as this was in alignment with what he called Transcendence. The Nine Freedoms - The Aetherius Society 6. Ascension This is freedom from the cycle of reincarnation, also known as the “wheel of rebirth” – and could therefore be described as a state of immortality. An Ascended Master may change his or her body from time to time, but would do so consciously – without going through old age or childhood. And they would, it appears, not have to do this anything like as often as we do. The Ascended Master Saint Goo-Ling who introduces each of the Freedoms, for example, has been in the same physical body for some 2000 years. To attain this Freedom, the Master has to not only have experienced Cosmic Consciousness, but be able to enter this state at will, which, we are told, is very much more demanding. Ascension cannot be gained by the average person in one life; it takes many lives of sustained spiritual effort – but, nevertheless, however distant it may seem, it is, Mars Sector 6 informs us, the birthright of us all to one day reach this mighty spiritual goal. - - - - Resources related to The Aetherius Society and advanced teachings - - - - - The Aetherius Society - https://www.aetherius.org/ Aetherius Radio Live - https://www.aetherius.org/podcasts/ Spiritual Freedom Show - https://www.aetherius.org/the-spiritual-freedom-show/ King Yoga FB Group - https://www.facebook.com/groups/awakeningthroughkingyoga The International Mystic Knowledge Center - http://www.mysticknowledge.org/ IMKC youtube - https://www.youtube.com/c/MysticKnowledge

Kristin and Seb then compare this with each of their experiences traveling in a camper van, such as the ability to enter the living space from the cab.
