Robert Morgan was a loving father and rising Florida filmmaker who became enraged by drug deals on his daughter's schoolyard and decided to take things into his own hands as a confidential informant. He eventually infiltrated the Mafia for the FBI and Drug Enforcement Agency to such a level that he cost the mob a documented half-billion dollars. Citizen Spy is Morgan's expose of the most sophisticated money-laundering scheme in the history of international crime. He brings readers into the life of a spy; a little-known world fantasized on by the young and only dreamed about by most of society. Major players include infamous mobsters Joseph Bonanno, Meyer Lansky and John Charles Piazza III, all with solid links to the Five Families. Just as he patiently hunted playground drug dealers and mob targets, Morgan waited for certain crime figure family members to pass before writing Citizen Spy, fearing a hit placed on his life. Three decades later he reveals this inside world and answers the questions raised years ago in Yallop's groundbreaking In God's Name. With almost a shudder in his writing, Morgan explains the Vatican banking cover-up that forced the murder of Pope John Paul I and the curbside confession on who arranged the killing.******************************************************************To listen to all our XZBN shows, with our compliments go to: https://www.spreaker.com/user/xzoneradiotv*** AND NOW ***The ‘X' Zone TV Channel on SimulTV - www.simultv.comThe ‘X' Chronicles Newspaper - www.xchroniclesnewpaper.com

On this week's interview series episode, James Sharman, Jimmy Brennan, Brendan Dunlop and Craig Forrest catch up with Craig's old Ipswich Town and Canadian men's national team teammate Frank Yallop. They laugh about the good old days and what it would take for Ipswich to make it back to the Premier League, their experiences with Sir Bobby Robson, and some coaches that taught Frank exactly how not to coach.    Managing David Beckham when he arrived in Major League Soccer and the challenges that presented for an LA Galaxy organization that wasn't quite prepared for just how Hollywood things would get with Becks now MLS' star attraction, made for some great conversation. If you listen closely you can hear how envious Jimmy, Sharms and Dunny were to hear that Frank was rubbing elbows with Tom Cruise, Will Smith, Brooke Shields and countless Hollywood A-listers.     Now the head coach and sporting director at USL Championship club Monterey Bay FC, Frank talks about the growth of the sport in the United States and the fulfillment he gets from building teams from the ground up. As well as the pathway that exists for Canadian Premier League players, like Morey Doner who joined MBFC this season, and how well he thinks CanMNT will do in Qatar with stars like Alphonso Davies and Jonathan David, under the guidance of John Herdman.    The Premier League has a new home in Canada this season: FuboTV. At times it can feel as though we're in the middle of a generational war, with the baby boomers battling the much maligned post-millennials. But in Generations the Director of The Policy Institute at King's College London, Bobby Duffy explores just how far when we're born determines our attitudes to money, sex, politics and much else. He tells Andrew Marr how the data from more than 40 countries unravels many of our preconceptions. Born since the mid-1990s, Generation Z is the first age group never to know the world without the internet. It is also the generation most often pilloried in the press as replete with woke snowflakes, obsessed by identity. But the linguist Sarah Ogilvie believes that young people have much to teach about how to live in the digital world. She is the co-author of GenZ, Explained which seeks to draw a more optimistic and nuanced portrait of this generation, and delves into their specific cultural language. Olivia Yallop is young enough to be part of the digital generation and in Break the Internet she explores the royalty of the attention economy, influencers (such as Molly-Mae Hague, pictured above). In the new media landscape online celebrities dominate and their value is estimated in billions of pounds. Yallop traces how online personas are built, uncovering what it is really like to live a branded life and trade in a ‘social stock market'. The podcast lives up to its name this week with an in-depth look at conditions in fixed income, credit and FX markets as volatility spikes continue in markets generally. After a few observations on bitcoin’s failure to live up to its hype as a hedge in times of turmoil and conditions in the FX market generally, P&L’s managing editor Colin Lambert is joined by Mark Yallop, chair of the FICC Markets Standards Board to talk about recent developments in fixed income markets. With automated trading very much to the fore in markets, the conversation then turns to the sensitive issue of managing these machines in an AI/deep learning environment. Yallop observes it is about so much more than the robustness of the algorithms and that there are questions of ethics, control and management to be considered as well. There is time for a look at how platform fragmentation is evolving in other asset classes than FX, as well as what the FCA’s call for input into market data means for providers and consumers.

On the road again. Vancouver Whitecaps are on the road again. And that can only mean one thing, it's match preview podcast time. As the 'Caps head east to Chicago to fight the Fire, we bring you a very special preview show, and one of our best episodes yet, even if we do say so ourselves! Both team are winless, and draw specialists. Surely that can only mean one thing?! Head coaches Carl Robinson and Frank Yallop set up the match for us before we bring you four exclusive one on one interviews with players from both teams. Chicago's new Designated Player Shaun Maloney is first up, as he talks about making the move to MLS, what he knows about the league, what he expects and his hopes for the Fire this season? Note, despite two Scots blathering on, there are no subtitles available for their chat! Keeping it in the UK, English midfielder, and former Whitecap, Matt Watson drops by to talk about his time in Vancouver, the quickness of his move to Chicago, his first MLS goal and how he's settled in as a Fire starter amidst all the squad changes. Watson may be a familiar face to Whitecaps fans, but Vancouver have a familiar face to Fire fans in the form of goalkeeper Paolo Tornaghi. The 'Caps number two keeper chats about what brought him over to MLS and the Fire from Italy, how he handles being a back up and lets us know if goalkeeping coach Marius Rovde is as crazy as we think he is! And there's still time to end the show with another chat with Chicago coach Frank Yallop. The former Vancouverite talks about just what went wrong in his first season in Chicago, building a squad he can call his own and what Fire fans can expect from their team this season. Phew! All the game build up you can shake a stick at, so have a listen.

If you watched the College Cup, you probably wondered about the quality of soccer being played and the bus Virginia parked in front of their own goal. If you didn't watch, you probably heard all about it on Twitter. So what's more important? Winning ugly or at least trying to play? Meanwhile, another trophy was lifted in Liga MX, Frank Lampard's NYCFC fate got murkier, Steven Gerrard was linked with the Red Bulls and Brek Shea seems to be on his way to Orlando. Oh, and what do we make of this? The Fire aren't just being linked with Designated Players, they're signing them. Kennedy Igboananike is already in the bag, and there might be a Ghanaian striker on the way as well. No matter how you twist it, Frank Yallop is making moves. He gives the guys the lowdown on everything going down in the Windy City, plus elaborates on Harry Shipp's future. In the mailbag, Simon keeps making excuses about the ScoreBorg, the guys wonder which MLSers would make the best managers, the Revs empty forward stable is addressed and David hints at a life-changing holiday season.
