The DOTJ - Drinking On The Job podcast is the perfect blend of entertainment, storytelling, and insightful conversations. Hosted by John Coyle, this podcast takes listeners on a journey into the world of wine, food, and service, providing an inside look at the lives of those who work in this industry. Whether you are a wine enthusiast, a foodie, or simply someone who enjoys hearing interesting stories from unique people, this podcast is sure to captivate you.

One of the best aspects of The DOTJ podcast is John Coyle's ability to engage his guests and bring out their stories and experiences. His interviewing style is engaging and relaxed, allowing guests to open up and share their thoughts in a natural and conversational manner. It is evident that Coyle has a genuine passion for his subject matter and an enthusiasm for connecting with his guests. This creates an authentic and enjoyable listening experience that keeps you coming back for more.

Another highlight of this podcast is the wide variety of guests that Coyle brings on the show. From sommeliers to chefs to bartenders, each episode offers a unique perspective on the industry. Not only do these individuals share their professional knowledge and expertise, but they also delve into their personal lives and dreams outside of work. This combination of professional insight and personal anecdotes adds depth to each episode and allows listeners to connect with the guests on a deeper level.

While there are many great aspects of The DOTJ podcast, there are some downsides as well. One potential drawback is that the focus can sometimes shift away from wine- or food-related topics towards tangential subjects such as nightlife or side gigs. While these topics can be interesting in their own right, they may not appeal to listeners who are primarily interested in learning about wine or food. Additionally, some episodes may feel overly long or meandering at times, which could benefit from tighter editing.

In conclusion, The DOTJ - Drinking On The Job podcast is a delightful listen for anyone interested in the world of wine, food, and service. John Coyle's engaging interviewing style and diverse range of guests make for an entertaining and insightful experience. While there may be some minor drawbacks, the overall quality of this podcast makes it a must-listen for those looking to expand their knowledge and immerse themselves in the vibrant world of hospitality. St. Stephen's Green, a private green reserved for the city's wealthiest residents, was purchased by Arthur Edward Guinness and donated to the City so the green space could be enjoyed by everyone in the area. The brewery paid 10% higher than the average industrial wage in Dublin at the time. In 1870, a medical centre was established to provide free healthcare not just to employees but to their families. This generosity still exists today.
