If today was the last day of your life, do you think you'd have any regrets or before you died? No matter how wise, successful or accomplished you might be, chances are, you probably answered yes. Why? Well, because it's an inevitable part of life to fail and fall short at times. Fortunately for us, however, we don't always have to make the mistake to learn the lesson. We can always turn to the older and wiser generations who have come before us and reflect on what their personal experiences have taught them. With that said, here are the a few of the most common regrets people tend to have as they look back on their lives. In a previous video, we talked about dissociation. Dissociation is a defense mechanism where we unconsciously push away conflicting or threatening emotions from our subconscious mind. It's a form of compartmentalizing your feelings so that you do not have to deal with them. Today, let's dive deeper. There are three types of dissociation: dissociative identity disorder, dissociative amnesia, and depersonalization or derealization disorder. While each type has different symptoms, they share various traits. Disclaimer: This video and quiz are not professional diagnoses. Do you believe in love at first sight? Or maybe you even experienced it with someone? Attraction is not enough for a meaningful relationship. A deeper connection between two people is required for a couple to survive its ups and downs – a connection we call compatibility. It means to share values, beliefs, interests and lifestyle. It means being able to negotiate, set boundaries, solve problems and respect each other. Understanding the difference between the two can get confusing sometimes, but when you know what to look for, you can see if it's just chemistry, and not compatibility.
