It has been a busy year for the Floresville community, who experienced quite a shakeup this year, from rapid changes in officials to a gas explosion which rocked the town, with an influx in grass fires along the way. Floresville Electric Light and Power System (FELPS) will be conducting scheduled system updates today, July 31, causing online servers to be temporarily unavailable. This will begin at 4 p.m. CEO Aaron Wagner advises that customers will not be able to make online payments during the update. The Floresville Electric Light & Power System (FELPS) office on S.H. 97 in Floresville has closed for the day, due to a widespread Spectrum internet outage. FELPS is unable to process payments or complete any work that requires internet access, according to CEO Aaron Wagner, so the decision was made to close the office. “Our understanding is that it's not going to be back up until 5 p.m.” Wagner told the Wilson County News. Made in the USA, and now ready to begin serving Floresville. A new transformer, delivered April 11, was built in Virginia and traveled overland to Floresville. “Everything went smoothly, once it got here,” Aaron Wagner, Floresville Electric Light & Power System (FELPS) CEO, told the Wilson County News April 15. The transformer has been installed at the utility's substation on A Street in the heart of Floresville. The Floresville Electric Light & Power System (FELPS) is putting on a fresh face in 2024. At a Jan. 10 workshop session, the utility's board of trustees voted to formally hire new chief executive officer J. Aaron Wagner, effective Jan. 16. Lean into the hard times The most successful people are solutions people. They don’t dwell in their struggles - they immediately look for and find solutions to get out of it. Some of the most incredible successes can emerge from struggle. So, when you find yourself in that rut, in a difficult time, at home or at work, lean into it. Aaron Wagner is one of the Founders and managing partners of White Knight Capital. Aaron has a diverse background in Real Estate, Lending, Debt, Investment and Private Equity, having participated full time in the industry since 2009. Aaron is extremely diligent in his pursuit of opportunity and has been able to capitalize tremendously on the recessed market, building multiple companies that specialize in the acquisition of distressed assets, repositioning, stabilization and resale of special assets. Aaron and his team have been intricately involved in all aspects of the business including fund raising, lending, consultation, principal project development, analytics and many other Real Estate specific roles. Prior to his involvement full time in Real Estate and business Investment, Aaron played professional football for a number of years. Aaron Wagner Attended Brigham Young University and Washington State University on a full athletic football Scholarship and was awarded multiple athletic awards and accolades throughout his career. Mr. Wagner was born and raised in Canada and has been in the US since 2000. He and his wife Candace, have 4 children and reside in Highland, Utah.
