We’re learning the slang of a very distinguished dentist on this episode of The Dental Slang Podcast. Dr. Bill Dickerson has quite the resume - he’s the founder and CEO of the Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies, he’s a published author (more than just dental books too!), and he was also one of Jodi’s favorite professors while she studied at Baylor. In this episode, I interview the legend, Dr. Ron Jackson who is one of the pioneers of the cosmetic revolution in Dentistry. Dr. Jackson is a 1972 graduate of West Virginia University School of Dentistry. He completed his General Practice Residency at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. He has published over 80 articles on esthetic, adhesive dentistry, and he has presented over 900 lectures worldwide. In addition, Dr. Jackson has presented at all the major U.S. and Canadian scientific conferences as well as to organizations and meetings in Europe, Asia and South America. Dr Ronnie Yap was awarded both the FAC Ohlers Gold Medal for Best Clinical Student, and the University Silver Medal for the Best Student of that graduating year.   He is currently adjunct Senior Lecturer at the National University of Singapore. Being active in teaching and lecturing he was past President of the Aesthetic Dentistry Society of Singapore and current Vice-President of the Asian Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry.   Ronnie’s priority is to keep abreast of dental techniques and technologies with continuing education, to ensure that his patients receive the best possible dental care available.
