Salut les petits loups, on n'est pas bien là à la fraîche? Sans aucune victoire depuis un match contre Dijon, même club qui on le rappelle patauge actuellement en L2. Do you know that you were born with a calling? Perhaps you do, but like my caller today, you are so wrapped up in pleasing others that you aren't able to prioritize your own needs. Do you struggle with boundaries? Do you know you are a leader, yet you lead with hesitation and timidity? Do you lead with one foot in and one foot out? Do you find that people often put expectations on you as a leader that make you uncomfortable? Friends if this is you, you will learn so much from my beautiful caller Cappie. Cappie is a leader, but sometimes the title of the word leader feels heavy and makes her want to run the other way. She knows she was created for a purpose, but she often finds that time slips through her fingers because she struggles to set boundaries and prioritize the things she needs to get done to BE the embodied leader she is meant to be. I hope you enjoy my coaching call with Cappie. If you would like to be coached on an upcoming episode please fill out the form HERE

Yesterday's thunder was Mercury Retrograde (hear yesterday's episode if you want to her my somewhat warped perspective on Mercury Retrograde) but today let's talk about Mars in Capricorn. He snuck in yesterday morning while we were all talking about Mercury (poor thing), but he's happy in Cappie because that is his sign of exaltation. What does that mean, and how can we use this new stellium in Capricorn to take our soul-work to a deeper level? Feb 17 - Transcription[00:00:00] It's Monday. Monday. Good morning. Good midday. Good afternoon. Good evening. Whenever you're catching this. Thomas Miller. Thanks for joining us on the fun astrology podcast. Kicking off Monday, February 17th with Mars in Capricorn. Now, actually, this happened yesterday, but the big thunder yesterday was of course, mercury retrograde.[00:00:24] It is back in effect and we covered that in depth. Yesterday in the dedicated the entire podcast to it with my somewhat awkward and unique perspective on mercury retrograde. You can catch that. What's kind of funny is right after I released the podcast, I started working on an audio book for Fred Dodson, and I had more.[00:00:45] I now look, I have done 27 audio books for Fred, and I've done about another 27 or 34 other people. So I've got my 10,000 hours behind the microphone doing audio books. I have never had problems like I did yesterday, and it wasn't even in retro grade yesterday, during the day when I was doing this, this was in the morning.[00:01:07] So, I don't know. I was just, by noon I was exhausted. But anyway. we'll see how this one goes. It's in Pisces. Okay. Mars in Capricorn. Let's stay there for this one. That's going to be shorter than what I've done over the weekend because really, we're looking at a couple of big things this week, not only Mars and Capricorn.[00:01:27] We'll talk about that. Tomorrow. The sun moves into Pisces. Now it's not until 11:50 PM so technically, I guess we could say that today and tomorrow are the last two days of Aquarian season, and then we move into Pisces. Actually, I'm really looking forward to this just for my own charts sake. So, we'll talk about that tomorrow as the sun moves in.[00:01:55] We'll do our little Pisces feature. Love Pisces. Pisces is a great [00:02:00] sign. Good water sign. Okay. Let's talk about fire and earth. Mars, the fire reest Oh, there's another fire element in the chart right now too. And that is the moon in Sagittarius. It will be there. The rest of today. It moves into Capricorn early tomorrow.[00:02:20] So here's this moan transiting through fire and Mars just coming out of fire into Capricorn. And there are still, I mean, this is one of the most aspect of charts you could have. Everything has an aspect right now, the way that the Capricorn stellium is and the moon, just the whole positioning of the sun coming out of Aquarius, going into Pisces.[00:02:47] You've got mercury and Neptune and Pisces, and then just over, you have Kyron and Venus in Aries. So it's just the way the whole chart lays out right now is aspect and everything else. So if you have felt a little stirred up over the last about 48 hours, that's kind of what's been the reflection in the middle of the chart with all these aspects.[00:03:10] So let's just recount the Capricorn stellium. So now we have Mars at zero degrees, just broke in the South node is at seven degrees. Jupiter is at 17 now. Pluto is at 23 and Saturn is at 26 so this team is in the Capricorn court until the third week of March. So it's either the 21st or 22nd I can't remember the exact time there, but that's when Saturn moves into Aquarius.[00:03:41] That itself is going to be an interesting little time period because Mars will just about be sitting right on top of Pluto. So, Ooh. Now, one of the things about Mars being in Capricorn, this is an interesting pairing because Mars is actually [00:04:00] exalted in Capricorn. Now this is interesting because that means Mars is in depression and its opposite sign of cancer.[00:04:09] Do you remember back in the summer when we were going through that real difficult period. And these faster moving planets like mercury and Mars and Venus and the sun, and everybody was in cancer, and when the moon especially came through, boy, it just triggered all that off. Mars was grumpy, Venus was grumpy, and it just was a tough time and a lot of tough energy around all of those planets being in cancer.[00:04:36] Well now Mars is on the other side of the chart and it's just all harpy fun, love over here in Capricorn. So now wait a minute, we are dealing with Saturn at home. Mars has just stepped in and see. This is the other interesting thing about this. So yes, Mars is exalted in Capricorn, but. You have Saturn at home, so that means the two most malaria planets according to Hellenistic and ancient astrology are in Saturn's home sign.[00:05:14] If you were born at nighttime, we covered this on what, Saturday? I believe if you were born during the evening, then Saturn is according to ancient astrology, according to the roots of this tradition. Saturn is more melodic if you're born during the daytime, Mars is more melodic and there's a whole discussion around that that a, we don't have time to go into here.[00:05:39] If you want a deep dive in this, I would highly recommend. The work of Chris Brennan, the astrology podcast, and his Hellenistic astrology course, and he wrote a book on it. So there are a lot of resources out there. You can go from just the entry level price of a book, or you can just listen [00:06:00] to his free podcasts, or you can go all the way up to the course and do an incredibly deep dive into this topic, but that's where you will get the best information on that if you would like to know more.[00:06:13] Now, you know what I like to do? I like to look for the little nuances of how can we play this energy game to our favor. So with Mars exalted in Capricorn and it getting ready over the next couple of weeks, it'll be in March when this happens. But really when it gets amped up and into the middle of Capricorn where it's going to conjunct Jupiter, and then it will crossover Pluto, by then, Saturn will have moved into Aquarius, but Mars will chase Saturn down.[00:06:43] We'll have that big Mars Saturn conjunction, but while we still have Mars in Capricorn, here's what I'm going to do. I'm going to be setting a lot of intentions. And doing a lot of work around like getting one more sweep of Saturn, Pluto while it's all in Capricorn. Now don't worry Saturn, and we'll be coming back.[00:07:05] It just basically sticks its toe in Aquarius and then it comes right back into Capricorn where with this energy, as I've said all year, but here is yet another opportunity to do this amazingly deep soul work. So while Mars is happy. Let's use it to trigger Venus and Pluto and Lee bring up things. I got to tell you guys, I have benefited so much from this Saturn Pluto thing.[00:07:35] Has it been easy? No. Has it been beneficial. Beyond my wildest dreams. So that's what I think we do. That's how I think we play this is using Mars as that catalyst to really take our soul into some deep territory over the next 30 30 40 days of [00:08:00] exploration, healing. Revelation and work that has only been available on this planet 500 years ago.[00:08:11] We have an amazing opportunity. Let's Carpe diem. Seize the day. Seize the moment. And do the work. Anybody else and I will see you tomorrow. There's one to think about. Have a good Monday. Bye bye. . See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

The middle of December has Venus entering Aquarius on December 20th, the same day as the Winter Solstice when the Sun moves into Capricorn. The more significant energy at play is Saturn returning to 20 degrees of Capricorn from Dec 20th to 29th, which has been a key degree point for both Saturn, Pluto, and the upcoming January 10 Cancer Full Moon Lunar Eclipse. New life decisions and mature commitments must be made after a year of intense adult-ing. The Sun interacts with Chiron, Uranus, and then we have the Capricorn New Moon Solar Eclipse at 4 degrees on Dec 25/26. Then the last week of the year brings Jupiter conjunct the Sun, the Sun conjunct South Node, and Mercury enters Cappie - phew! A lot is clearing away and we are standing stronger in what our Capricorn energies are requiring us to do. Make time for rest because eclipse season is now in effect and the waves come in bigger and stronger. Plus, more to share about the Atlantis themes and how the timelines have shifted to support humanity's healing needs. The month of September has all personal planets in direct motion, and Saturn stations direct on September 18 at 13 deg 55 Capricorn. Saturn has been retrograde since May and traveling with the South Node in Cappie. Both Saturn and the South Node's territory here activates 2014 as this is when Pluto in Capricorn was covering these same degrees in your chart. Saturn now moves forward and has important information to take to Pluto in January 2020 when they connect at 22 / 23 degrees Capricorn. The energy shift in September means forward developments are now coming for the heavy or challenging areas of life that have been weighing on you. Cappie Pondexter retired from the WNBA just before the start of the 2019 season as one of the league’s greatest players of all time. A two-time league champion, 7-time all-star and Olympic gold medalist, Cappie's influence on the court is well-documented, but her bold voice and fashion statements have impacted so many players off the court, as well. Cappie was a featured panelist at an event hosted by RISE and The Shadow League in New York City entitled, The Vocal Black Athlete, where she discussed topics like identity and the evolution of athlete activism. In this episode, Cappie dives deeper into these subjects, talks about how she found her voice to advance her own advocacy work playing under legendary coach C. Vivian Stringer at Rutgers University and shares how she broke the mold of what it means to be a successful female athlete. She also discusses her career, saying there's no better duo in league history than she and Diana Taurasi from the Phoenix Mercury and shares fun insights from the 2008 Olympics, like winning a gold medal, bonding with Dwight Howard and eating private meals prepared by LeBron James' personal chef.

Bonus episode! Cappie Pondexter — the “first lady” of Knuckleheads with Quentin Richardson and Darius Miles — joins the show. She and the boys begin by discussing her rise in Chicago basketball, and how the city inspired the way she played. Cappie also talks about getting her killer instinct from playing with (and tuning up) the boys. She then explains her decision to attend Rutgers, and the positive impact that that move had on her entire career. Following that, Cappie discusses the WNBA draft, playing with Diana Taurasi, and what it was like to win a championship so early in her career. Darius crowns Cappie and Diana “the Shaq and Kobe of the WNBA.” Talk then shifts to the current state of the women’s league, and what Cappie thinks that the WNBA can do better to keep women’s basketball moving in the right direction. She follows that by talking about playing overseas, her all-time favorite place to play, and why the game of basketball has inspired her to travel all over the world. This leads to a discussion about the importance of broadening horizons, and Cappie explains her involvement in the fashion industry, as well as her love for art. She and the boys then move on to their nostalgia for Chicago basketball, and the identities of some of the city’s best — and least-known — players. She then ranks her top five WNBA players of all time, and finishes by debating the hosts about MJ, Kobe and LeBron. Cappie is a Chicago queen, and you won’t want to miss this great episode.

The Sun is now in Capricorn as we welcome the darkest day in the northern hemisphere known as the Winter Solstice. This is an extra significant energy shift this year because Saturn also entered Capricorn within the last 24 hours and we must return to our top responsibilities and commitments - the work begins. The movement from Sag to Cappie is about maturation, reality, and a focus on what has meaning to you in the long-run. Saturn in Capricorn will be making this even clearer to you for the next 3 years as he stays in his home sign until December 2020. Mercury is still in retrograde until Saturday, December 23 and Venus is finishing up her time in Sagittarius, so these two planets are keeping us lighthearted and open to fun as 2017 comes to a close. Cappie Peete knows how to spit like a lady. (Actually gender has little to do with it.) As the Beverage Director of the Neighborhood Dining Group, she is the youngest person in Charleston, SC to receive her Advanced Certificate from the Court of Master Sommeliers, and so that means an awful lot of tasting wines and then spitting discreetly into a bucket. If not, she’d be like the rest of us, thinking that fourth glass is the “best wine she’s ever had!” After looking up the audio pronunciation for “sommelier” (and realizing I’ve said it wrong every time before this recording), we sit down and chat wines.
