Mais la vraie force de Boat Story, c'est son parfait dosage entre les différents sentiers télévisuels qu'elle emprunte : celui de la comédie évidemment, du drame, distillé çà et là par Janet (Daisy Haggard), de l'action toujours rondement menée, mais aussi celui… de la comédie musicale ! Some of you may think he's just some English meathead who's been in a few excellent Guy Ritchie films and a whole lot more terrible films from other directors. What you may not know is he's secretly a genius oceanographer and deep sea diver. You think I'm making things up? I think you're not giving the great Statham the credit he so rightly deserves! He saved all of our lives from an enormous, nearly unstoppable megalodon shark and you have the temerity to deny him his bona fides? How dare you. This is just another example of how hard the prettiest and richest people in the world have it. You have no idea. We've got an action film hero who just wants to demonstrate his love of the deep, blue sea and a bunch of armchair critics are demanding that he stay in his lane. Well, not this guy! I'm 100% in camp Statham. When the next installment in the obviously a documentary series, The Meg 2: The Trench, comes out in 2023, I'll be there celebrating this great man's wonderful scientific achievements. Þetta er einn þeirra viðburða í sveitum landsins þar sem fólki gefst tækifæri til að hittast og gleðjast yfir góðum árangri í sauðfjárrækt. Auk Stellu talaði Kristín við Barböru Guðbjartsdóttur, Viðar Guðmundsson, Magnús Sigurðsson, Ragnar Bragason, Þórey Ragnarsdóttur og Karl Björnsson. Þriðja þáttaröðin af Ófærð hófst á sunnudagskvöldið. Lögreglumaðurinn Andri er mættur aftur og enn reynir á hann að rannsaka dularfullt mannslát, þar sem koma við sögu vélhjólaklíka, sértrúarsöfnuður og eldra sakamál sem tengist Andra. Ólafur Darri Ólafsson leikur auðvitað Andra eins og áður og þarna eru fleiri góðkunningjar eins og Hinrika lögreglukona, sem Ilmur Kristjánsdóttir leikur, og fleiri. Fyrstu tvær þáttaraðirnar urðu gríðarlega vinsælar, ekki bara hér á landi heldur víða um heim. Við heyrum þriðja innslagið af blaðlauknum frá Jón Torfa Arasyni og Þórdísi Claessen. Í þessum innslögum sínum flysja þau lögin af ýmsum hversdagslegum fyrirbærum, og í dag eru það húsfélög sem þau ætla að fjalla um. Þau ræða við Helga Eirík Eyjólfsson, félagsfræðing sem er formaður í stóru húsfélagi í Laugardalnum. Og við hringjum í Gísla Darra Halldórsson sem er staddur í Los Angeles þar sem hann mætti á Óskarsverðlaunahátíðina en hann var tilnefndur til verðlaunanna fyrir bestu stuttu teiknimyndina.

Kjartan Darri segir frá nýju íslensku barnaleikriti sem snertir bæði hjartað og hláturtaugarnar Argentína er fjörug tíu ára stelpa sem ferðast með pabba sínum um höfin í kafbát í ókominni framtíð eftir að öll lönd eru sokkin í sæ.

Föstudagsgestir Mannlega þáttarins í þetta sinn vou tveir, þau Andri Snær Magnason og Anní Ólafsdóttir. Þau eru leikstjórar myndarinnar Þriðji póllinn, sem er heimildarmynd um geðhvörf. Í henni er fylgst með ferðalagi Högna Egilssonar og Önnu Töru Edwards um framandi slóðir í Nepal. Myndin veitir innsýn í hugsun og veruleika fólks sem hefur glímt við sama sjúkdóm, en Anna Tara og Högni hafa bæði greinst með geðhvarfasýki. Myndin hefur verið í vinnslu í þrjú ár og til stóð að frumsýna hana í mars en ekkert varð af þeim áformum vegna heimsfaraldursins. Það hefur verið tilkynnt að myndin verður opnunarmynd RIFF í ár, þar sem hún verður frumsýnd 24.september. Albert Eiríksson kom til okkar og var með okkur í stað Sigurlaugar Margrétar í matarspjalli dagsins. Hann fræddi okkur um sultur, nú er sultutíð, rabarbarar, rifsberja, bláberja, og fleiri týpur af sultu. Óvæntur gestur kom í matarspjallið, Ólafur Darri Ólafsson leikari, sem bauð sig fram sem sultusmakkara og stóð hann sig afskaplega vel í því hlutverki, eins og öllum hlutverkum sem hann tekur að sér, til dæmis sem ráðherra í samnefndum sjónvarpsþáttum sem hefja göngu sína í sjónvarpinu á sunnudag.
