In hour 2 of The Drive, Zach and Phil take a deep dive into the Nuggets and Thunder game 5, last night. Why did David Adelman sub Michael Porter Jr. back into the game late into the 4th quarter? Is a hurt Michael Porter Jr. a better option to have on the court than someone off the bench? How should Adelman handle MPJ going forward in this series? While others are getting the blame, Zach believes Jamal Murray didn’t play up to his potential and was too inefficient. Today’s “Three Count” features Julius Thomas advocating for a Von Miller and Broncos reunion and Derrick Henry and the Ravens agreeing to a 2-year, 30-million dollar contract extension. We react to Romona Shelburne’s article detailing a spat between Aaron Gordon and Russell Westbrook. Do we believe that these events occurred? Zach and Phil explain why they have no problem with the article but with whoever on the Nuggets is speaking to the media about inside locker room issues.

Kicking off Season 5 of The Burn we couldn't be more excited to be speaking with Julius Thomas today!Julius is a former tight end for the Broncos, Jaguars, and Miami Dolphins. During his time in the league he was a monster on the field, putting up 40 touchdowns in his 7 year career.JT has always been a man of many talents, he actually was a basketball star at Portland State before taking his shot in the NFL. (Glad he did!)Currently on track to get his doctorate in Psychology, Julius just so happens to be studying the impact of contact sports on brain health. Spending so much time playing in the NFL at a high level, our conversation naturally dives into the situation with Damar Hamlin and Julius offers a few unique points I hadn't thought about in regards to the situation. (We also say a quick prayer for Damar.)This episode is a very powerful one as we cover a broad range of topics but I can guarantee that YOU will be coming back to listen to this one over and over.https://www.bennewmancoaching.com The Burn Podcast, ignited by Punch'd Energy. https://www.puchdenergy.com ************************************ Let's work TOGETHER https://www.bennewmancoaching.com Order my new book UNCOMMON LEADERSHIP: 11 Ways the Greatest Leaders Lead Connect with me everywhere else: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/continuedfight Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Continuedfight/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/ContinuedFight https://www.bennewmancoaching.com
