This week the UK government announced that around 100 new oil and gas licences for the North Sea will be issued. At the same time the Prime Minister said the government would back two new carbon capture and storage plants, one in Aberdeenshire and one in the Humber. Victoria Gill speaks to Angela Knight, former chief executive of Energy UK, about what this decision means for the UK's aim of reaching net zero carbon emissions by 2050. She then discovers more about the capabilities of carbon capture and storage from Paul Fennell, a professor of clean energy at Imperial College London. Next Victoria travels to the sunnier shores of Spain where orcas have been ramming fishing boats. She speaks to one of the sailors who witnessed an attack. To find out more about the orcas' behaviour, she interviews Dr Luke Rendell, a whale and dolphin expert from the University of St Andrews. We then move to Skomer, off the coast of West Wales. 5-28-23 BTB - Divine Health Pt. 1 With Pastor Lisa Morgan by Pastor Darrell Morgan
https://youtu.be/QOzI--9Dlv8 At the 44th annual conference for the Association for Death Education and Counseling (ADEC) Lisa Morgan talks about autism and grief.
No two people grieve alike, but an autistic adult may experience and react to grief in unique ways that others may not understand. Dr. Kenneth Doka and Lisa Morgan help us better understand how to support an autistic adult who is grieving and how to approach grief as an autistic adult.
The issue of loss and grief reactions of autistic people has only received serious consideration in recent years. Decades of behavioral perspectives about autism, which prohibited serious consideration of feelings and internalized relationships prevented crucial issues such as loss and grief from getting the attention needed to better understand and support people on the autism spectrum. Dr. Ken Doka, a recognized expert and authority on loss and grief, and Lisa Morgan, an autistic professional, take a deep dive into these issues, and how important it is for all of us to have deeper understandings to better support autistic children and adults and their families. While living her everyday life and enjoying a concert, Rae Anne discovered a lump on the side of her neck. Not knowing what it could be, as she felt okay, she left quickly to schedule appointments with various doctors. Within a few weeks, the lump grew and she was diagnosed with stage 4 head and neck cancer. Rae Anne received several rounds of chemotherapy and radiation therapy, and was sent home to wait to see if the treatment worked. During this time, the palliative care team called which changed her life for the better, answering questions and providing monitoring during an otherwise lonely and scary time. “Palliative care was the most valuable part of treatment because it enabled me to feel like I was going to feel better again. There was an opportunity and a team of caregivers that were going to make sure that my next step in my cancer journey was smooth.” Rae Anne is now living cancer-free with her twin children, and running her nonprofit. This is Rae Anne's story. Narrated by Nick Ciavatta Produced by Melissa Baron, Lisa Morgan, and Nick Ciavatta

It's a little known fact that if you or a relative has an ongoing health problem, the NHS will pay, not just for your treatment in hospital but could also pay for all your care needs, be that in a private care home or even in your own home. More than 160,000 people get exactly that support. Many more feel they should get it. The scheme is known as Continuing Healthcare Funding and it can be worth thousands of pounds per month. It's available to people living in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. In Scotland they decided the funding system was not fit for purpose and got rid of it three years ago. So, how do you qualify for financial support for long term health problems? What can you do if the support is withdrawn? And is this an effective way of looking after people whilst being sensible with public money? Let us know your views on NHS Continuing Healthcare. You can get in touch with Money Box Live at moneybox@bbc.co.uk Adam Shaw is joined by a panel of experts: Lisa Morgan, Partner and Head of Nursing Care at Hugh James Solicitors in Wales Dan Harbour, Director of Beacon CHC Julie Wood, Chief Executive of NHS Clinical Commissioners Presenter: Adam Shaw Producer: Marie Keyworth Editor: Andrew Smith.

Month by month data has edged deeper into our lives, whether we are making business decisions or going through our day as a consumer and citizen. No longer confined to a backroom waiting to be tossed over the wall to a business manager, as it was just a few years ago, data is in our face today. The data-human relationship has been strengthening. We all know people who won't enter a restaurant without checking its online ratings. Data rules our decisions about diet and exercise. Many executives don't make tough decisionsn without asking what the numbers say. Business leaders, marketers, and operations personnel are fed data throughout their workday. Retailers know more about some of us than our friends do. And, it may seem that fewer managers put up a barrier that says "no data, ever."All Analytics Radio will be exploring the data-human relationship on Tuesday, November 22, at 2 pm, as bloggers Lisa Morgan and Pierre DeBois discuss the growing impact of data on our lives, and look forward to what 2017 will bring. Is data reaching a saturation point, or still in its infancy? Has data buried human experience in our decision process? How will the millennial generation's love of data impact business as more millennials move into management roles? Can we expect a backlash against data? Those are just some of the questions we will address as we near the end of 2016 and transition into a new year. You are invited to share your own questions with our panelists.

Heather Rounds’ novel, There, follows a young American journalist working in the northern Kurdish zone of Iraq as the region slowly regains its footing after years of war and upheaval. Not structured like a traditional novel, "There" is more a series of stories, impressions, and memories laced together from snatches of conversations, chance encounters, and pages of notes and journal entries. The fragments lend a surreal quality to the story; the rules of time and space are suspended, as in dreams. Heather Rounds joins producer Lisa Morgan to talk about “There.”
The New Black is a powerful documentary that explores the complex issue of gay rights within the African American community. From church pews and conference rooms to street corners and kitchen tables, the film reveals the evolution of this divisive issue, and how outside forces influenced voters on both sides leading up to the historic vote for ballot Question 6 in Maryland in 2012, a referendum that legalized same-sex marriage in the state. Director Yoruba Richen spoke to producer Lisa Morgan about “The New Black.”
