Vitsit sikseen! -podcastin 37. jaksossa vieraana stand up -koomikko Matti Paalanen. Tässä yhdessä ehkä oudoimmista Vitsit sikseen! -jaksoista, Matti ja Heikki juttelevat mm. miten perustaa stand up -klubi ilman minkäänlaista hajua koko touhusta. Podcast on myös katseltavissa YouTubessa osoitteessa:https://www.youtube.com/SuomenStandUpClubiTuotanto: Suomen Stand Up Club OyKaupalliset yhteistyöt: myynti@suomenstandupclub.fihttps://www.suomenstandupclub.fi

Stand up koomikoilta Anna Rimpelä ja Ida Grönlund julkaistiin toissa viikolla stand up-komedian tekemisestä kertova kirja Liian nätti lavalle. Komediakäsikirjoittamisen ja esiintymisen prosessien avaamisen ohella kirjaan on upotettu teema sukupuolittuneesta stand-up-yhteisöstä. Naispuoliset komediantekijät ovat murtaneet menestyksellä miehisiä raja-aitoja jo usean vuosikymmenien ajan. Mutta onko stand-up jäänyt jonkinlaiseksi kuplaksi, jossa sukupuolella on yhä väliä? Naispuolisia stand-up-komiikan tekijöitä on vain noin viidesosa kaikista alan toimijoista. Helsingissä on toiminut jo useamman vuoden pelkästään naisten voimin toteutettava stand-up-klubi All female panel. Asetetaanko naispuolisten stand-up-koomikkojen huumorille erilaiset standardit? Molemmat vaikuttava myös All female panelin taustalla. Ville Talola juontaa.

Pwyll meets a mysterious Lady In the first episode of the second half of Pwyll, Prince of Dyfed we find out that it has been three long and glorious years since Pwyll journeyed to Annwn and became firm friends with Annwn and his own kingdom is just beginning to shown signs of strain. It has been hot with fine weather for so long that the possibility of drought is becoming a real threat. Pwyll has not taken a Queen and produced an heir and the people fear that the land is suffering from his lack of fertility. Pwyll, however, has other things on his mind... This episode is also the 7th episode of the First Branch of the Mabinogi: Pwyll, Prince of Dyfed and the beginning of the second half of that Branch - the story of his encounter with Rhiannon. It has been described by Chris Greatorex, the Director of the Excavation, as possibly one of the most important wetland sites in North-West Europe. The Cantrefs of Dyfed. Pic Arberth Castle today One of Pwyll's chief courts, obviously not far from Gorsedd Arberth (see below). Perhaps the site of the Norman Castle. Photo     Location of the Gorsedd? The Iron Age fort on Camp Hill to the south of the town of Narberth is the most commonly accepted location for the Gorsedd of Arberth. We have marked it in Green with our location on Bryn Caerau marked in Yellow to the North-East of Arberth. Pic: Google Earth We suspect that these twin peaks are the site of the actual Gorsedd as they are higher than Camp Hill, match with the descriptions of the topography given in the text and have an earlier Bronze Age archaeological presence known as Caerau Gaer and Llandewi Gaer. Arberth, the "Sea-Voice" & the Gorsedd The River we have called the Sea-Voice is the river Marlais that flows from the River Taf. The Welsh name comes from 'marw glais' which means 'dead bruise' and therefore stagnant water, so we can only assume that it has long since become polluted. Where the Goddess rides her horse, guiding you to magic, and the Horned God of old calls us from the shadows of the Greenwood.
