A Minneapolis Lakota man is developing an archive of music by Native American artists one record and cassette tape at a time. Justis Brokenrope (Sicangu Lakota), founder of Wathéča Records, music curator, DJ, and educator, has already amassed a sizable collection of mostly folk, rock, blues, and country music by Native musicians. Now he's converting a lot of that music to digital formats to give the music and the artists who created it new recognition. Along the way he's expanding the conversation about the importance of Native languages. In this encore show, we'll hear from Justis Brokenrope about the passion driving his project.

Did the players need to step up more here? Players like Kenny Pickett, Najee Harris and others speaking negatively about Matt Canada could have resulted in his firing. Per the reports, it was never in doubt that Canada would be back once the season ended. Poni thinks Pickett wouldn't have as much power in this situation as we may believe. Calls. Mike Florio from Pro Football Talk joined the show. Mike said in the age of high-flying offense in the NFL, the Steelers don't have the brain trust in the building to keep up with the rest of the league. Mike thinks it's more complicated than just Matt Canada in the Steelers facility. Mike said if Kenny Pickett grows to an elite level, or even close to it, Canada will be viewed as an offensive mastermind. Mike said fundamentally, the players aren't as good on the Steelers roster as some of the others around the league, like the teams in the playoffs. “This continuity (of working with Matt Canada) will help Kenny Pickett get towards what he's going to be” is what Mike said of Pickett continuing to work with Canada and being able to face the entire off-season like a starting quarterback. On Tom Brady, Mike said he expects Brady to stay closer to the east coast and threw out the Panthers as an option if they land Sean Payton. Mike thinks the Ravens will issue the non-exclusive franchise tag on Lamar Jackson, which leaves his options open, but if the Ravens don't' want to match an offer, they will receive multiple 1st round picks. Mike suggested the Dolphins as a landing spot for Lamar if he doesn't play for the Ravens.

Asheville's Tongues of Fire are still a young band, but vocalist, guitarist and songwriter Lowell Hobbs has already absorbed some time-worn lessons. For instance, twice now, the band has invested many months, untold amounts of money and healthy doses of hope to perform at the South By Southwest Festival in Austin, Tex. "We've never been accepted officially, but that has not stopped us," Hobbs said. "It's interesting being one of the bigger bands in Asheville, like our shows are usually packed, and then we'll go down to SXSW and it's like being thrown into this sea. I spent like six months working every contact I had and just begging people, and get like three showcases and maybe one of them is good. It's definitely really frustrating and we're very burned out, but we're not gonna stop."

In order to save the podcast, the they must do a show once more and for this episode, they focus on the 007 fan film, "I Only Need One."
