A UK mum and her mate got locked out after a big night and the entire drunken exchange was captured on their Ring doorbell—they're yelling at the camera asking to be let in while her son keeps responding "I'm in Spain" because he's literally on holiday and can't help. We asked Sydney what's been caught on their cameras and Jamie from Thornleigh revealed their neighbour was caught on camera having a full phone conversation while picking their nose and eating it.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

The Founderz Lounge Episode #66 with Don Varady and Steve Bon.Don and Steve are back with another round of “Business & Bullsh*t,” where real entrepreneurs talk wins, screwups, and what actually moves the needle in business without the corporate fluff. They kick things off with camping like “homeless men” and wild childhood clubhouse stories, then pivot into why U.S. franchise chains are growing faster internationally than at home and what that really says about brand strategy. From there, they get brutally honest about restaurant standards, why most places lose customers to complacency instead of competition, and the consulting contract that almost ended Don's company and completely changed how he looks at legal protection.Along the way, they hit everything from DoorDash quietly exploding with Boomers and Gen X to Stiller's Soda, strange news, and a rapid-fire round of business lessons, bad decisions, and hard-earned perspective.Hit play for a straight shot of real talk on growth, risk, and what happens when your standards drift before your sales do.Timestamps:[00:00] Trailer[00:50] Founderz Roundup: International franchising[02:53] DoorDash[04:16] Pop Culture Bull Sh*t: Stiller's Soda[05:21] Social Media Update[06:41] Strange News: PepsiCo[07:43] Weekly Mash-Up[07:46] Netflix and Ring Doorbell[09:03] Founderz Hot Take[10:11] Founderz Fast Five[10:17] Childhood memories[11:06] Devil's Night[11:26] Clubhouse in the woods[12:21] Business lesson[13:28] Partnership[14:56] Strangest things seen while driving[16:35] Movie titleKey Takeaways:  • 2024, U.S based chains that expanded outside of the U.S. posted a 4.8% cumulative international growth versus 1.4% domestically. ~Don Varady [01:13]• “Your product isn't the problem. It's an all new That Real Blind Tech show as Allison, Brian, David, and Jeanine are back together to talk about little tech along with a tad of A.I. Because why wouldn't they?   We kick the show off discussing the recent story of a florida man being captured on his Ring Doorbell being attacked by a bear. Yes, a bear in freaking Florida, man.   We then get our first A.I. story of the show as Taco Bell has said No Mas to A.I. Drive Through Windows.   TSA has banned some new items from being carried on to a plane, but what is more impressive is some of the items you can take on a plane with you.   We then discuss the Ally Solos Glasses which were recently announced.   We then discuss the fascinating story about where do Waymos go when they are not driving passengers? They have to go somewhere.   Next we discuss the news about Glide not coming to Europe any time soon.   Are A.I. Agents still closer to science fiction than reality? Which leads us in to complaining about stupid articles behind the paywall and then how to get around it.   Blind people get ready to rejoice as Meta is moving ahead with Facial Recognition on their next pairs of Meta Glasses. And on a related note, Meta has released six new pairs of the Meta Oakleys, well actually only six new colors for the lenses and frames.   We then discuss the fun article How to Win friends and Influence ChatBots.   And on a terrifying note, A.I. ransomWare has arrived.   We then discuss the recent announcement between the beta partnership between Be My Eyes and Amtrak. Amtrak has also finally rolled out their new Acela trains, but don't expect them to get you to your location any faster!   Apple TV Plus has hiked its price to $13 a month. Is it time to start dialing back all those streaming services?   We then talk about the all new redesign that came to the new ESPN app, but same old same old Worldwide Leader in Inaccessibility at ESPN.   And it's more of What's Pissing Off Brian Now and Watcha Streaming, Watcha Reading.   To contact That Real Blind Tech Show, you can email us at ThatRealBlindTechShow@gmail.com, join our Facebook Group That Real Blind Tech Show, join us on the Twitter @BlindTechShow

What does regime change in Syria change? The overthrow of longtime, mass-murdering dictator Bashar al-Assad is a good thing. But those who did the overthrowing? Not good. The most important rebel group involved in this revolution is Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, better known as HTS. It has roots in both al Qaeda and the Islamic State (also known as ISIS). Its leader's nom de guerre is Abu Mohammad al-Jolani. He and HTS have been officially designated as terrorists by the U.S. government. The fall of Assad weakens Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and Russian President Vladimir Putin. Both had backed Assad, and both had derived benefits from Assad in exchange. And the fall of Assad strengthens Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. To discuss all of this and more, host Cliff May is joined by Jonathan Schanzer, Reuel Marc Gerecht, and Michael Doran.NOTE: We hope you enjoy the soothing sounds of Reuel's Ring Doorbell chimes.
