(soundcloud.com / andoryukesuta)@andoryukesuta The sound of a nu metal band arouses the vampire Lestat de Lioncourt from a lengthy slumber, and he proceeds to take over as their lead singer. Achieving international success with the ensemble, which he names The Vampire Lestat, and having revealed the existence of vampires, he taunts his own kind during an interview to advertise his first and only live concert. Jesse Reeves, a researcher for the paranormal studies group Talamasca, is intrigued by his lyrics upon hearing one of his songs play on TV and tells the other members her theory that he really is a vampire. Her mentor, David Talbot, explains to her they already know of his identity and donates Lestat's journal that he recovered so that Jesse can read it, but warns her against pursuing Lestat. In the journal, Lestat recalls that in the winter of 1788, he was brought to a Mediterranean island and vampirized by Marius de Romanus, formerly a talented painter, and his violin playing awoke Akasha, the first vampire. Increasingly intrigued, Jesse tracks Lestat down to a London vampire club called The Admiral's Arms, where he saves her from three vampires and confronts her about Marius. Visiting Lestat in Los Angeles, Marius warns him that the other vampires will not tolerate his flamboyant public profile; he reveals that Lestat's music has awakened Akasha and unsuccessfully implores him to cancel his concert. Meanwhile, Akasha arrives at the coven, looking for Lestat. After the vampires reveal their plan to kill him at his concert, she torches the club and kills all the vampires inside. Arriving in Los Angeles, Jesse gives Lestat his journal back and asks him to show her what being a vampire is like. He scoffs at the idea, but she convinces him to spend time with her. She later enquires if he can convert her, expressing her desire to be with him and know everything he does. He angrily declines, demonstrating how a vampire preys on human blood before asking her if she truly wants to become one. Lestat is attacked by a group of vampires at his concert in Death Valley, and Marius aids him in defeating most of them until Akasha arrives and promptly carries Lestat with her to her home on an island resort. During their period of sexual intercourse, he becomes spellbound and subservient to her. Jesse awakens in the house where she lived as a child, in awe at the sight of her aunt, Maharet, who later reveals herself as a member of the Ancient Vampires. Fearing Akasha's plans for world domination, the Ancient Vampires decide to destroy her by draining her blood. However, they believe that whoever drinks her last drop will not survive. Akasha confronts the Ancient Vampires and interrupts their meeting, with Lestat, empowered by her blood, accompanying her. When they refuse to side with her, Akasha commands him to kill Jesse, seeing her both as an enemy due to being Maharet's descendant and as food, with Akasha planning to make an example out of her to dissuade disobedience. He ostensibly obeys, but after drinking Jesse's blood, comes to his senses and is released from Akasha's controlling influence. He demands his "crown", and as Akasha openly offers him her arm to feed on, he then turns on her and, aided by the Ancients, begins to drain her blood, diminishing her power; he goes to Jesse and, cradling her in his arms, donates his blood to her as Maharet, who has effectively killed Akasha by drinking her last drop of blood, turns into a marble statue and "sleeps", becoming the new Queen of the Damned.

Dans la lignée des histoires de sorcières dans la pop-culture, la saga dépeint des générations de femmes et leurs expériences qui résonnent à travers les époques, se confrontant à des types d'hommes arrogants et manipulateurs résultats d'une société patriarcale. Daddario et Huston offrent de belles performances dans le mystère et la séduction. Dans une atmosphère gothique si chère à l'autrice, on ne perd tout de même pas ses repères. On dira qu'on respecte l'essence de l'œuvre avec une adaptation plus romancée. La première saison commence au même endroit que le livre, dans l'histoire de fantôme de la vieille Maison Mayfair à La Nouvelle-Orléans. Réputée pour ses meurtres, ses disparitions et ses sorcières, la maison est un personnage propre et reflète ses propriétaires. La série en profite pour faire quelques jeux de caméra et d'effets spéciaux qui rendent le décor encore plus inquiétant. Et une saison 2 est en production. Vampire Insider: An AMC Anne Rice's Immortal Universe After Show
During the inter-season break, the vampire insiders are doing deep dives into the episodes, chatting about other kinds of creature media and in today's episode, we are looking hard at the 2002 film Queen of the Damned, which seems to have nothing to do with the source material except for the characters' names. From wikipedia: The vampire Lestat is awakened from decades of slumber by the sound of a hard rock band, and proceeds to take over as their lead singer. Achieving international success, Lestat, having revealed the existence of vampires, taunts the others of his kind during an interview for promoting his first and only live concert. Jesse Reeves, a researcher for the paranormal studies group Talamasca, is intrigued by Lestat's lyrics after hearing one of his songs play on TV and tells the rest of the group her theory that he really is a vampire. Her mentor, David Talbot, takes her aside and tells her they know what he is and that a vampire called Marius made him. David also shows her Lestat's journal. In the journal, Lestat recalls how he was turned into a vampire by Marius and how he awoke Akasha, the first vampire, with his music. Jesse tracks Lestat down to a London vampire club called The Admiral's Arms, where he saves her and confronts her about Marius. In Los Angeles, Lestat is visited by Marius, who warns him that the other vampires will not tolerate his flamboyant public profile. He begs him to cancel his concert, which he refuses. Meanwhile, awakened Akasha, who is searching for Lestat, arrives at The Admiral's Arms. After the vampires reveal their plan to kill Lestat Akasha torches the club. Jesse arrives at Los Angeles and gives Lestat his journal and asks him to show her what being a vampire is like. Lestat scoffs at the idea, but Jesse convinces him to spend his last moments before the concert with her. Jesse later asks Lestat to turn her, telling him she wants to be with him and that she wants to know everything he does. Lestat angrily refuses, and shows her what it's like for a vampire to feed aggressively on a human. While performing at his concert in Death Valley, a group of vampires attack Lestat. With Marius' help, they both fend off most of the vampires until Akasha bursts through the stage and takes Lestat with her. Akasha brings Lestat to her new home, where the two vampires have sexual intercourse, during which time Lestat becomes spellbound by Akasha and is forced to obey her, and Akasha proclaims Lestat her new king. After the concert, Jesse is taken to the home of her aunt, Maharet, who later reveals herself to be one of the Ancient Vampires. The Ancient Vampires discuss their plans to destroy the Queen by drinking from her and draining her of her blood. However, they believe that whoever drinks the Queen's last drop will not survive. Empowered by Akasha's blood, Lestat and the Queen confront the Ancient Vampires. When they refuse to join her, Akasha then commands Lestat to kill Jesse, as The Queen sees her both as an enemy, due to being Maharet's descendant, and as food, with Akasha making an example out of her for those who dare disobey her command. After drinking Jesse's blood, Lestat comes to his senses and is released from Akasha's power. Lestat then turns on her and begins to drain Akasha's blood. With the help of the Ancients, Akasha's power diminishes. Maharet is the last to drink Akasha's blood, killing Akasha. Lestat goes to Jesse and, cradling her in his arms, gives her his blood as Maharet turns into a marble statue and "sleeps"; the new Queen of the Damned. Lestat and Jesse visit David and return Lestat's journal. Jesse offers to turn David into a vampire to which he replies he's too old for immortality. Jesse then bids David goodbye and leaves with Lestat. A few moments later, David is greeted by Marius. Но от этого своей актуальности он точно не потерял, поэтому, уважаемые Трансеры, Рэйверы и Тусеры, представляю вашему вниманию кусочек воспоминаний с мероприятия Delight, которое прошло 30 августа на территории знаменитого пляжного проекта в Строгино / БерёZы Парк. В этом году ежегодный летний OPEN AIR на этой площадке прошёл с особым размахом. Благодаря объединению ежегодного феста Equacolours со знаменитой тусовкой ОРБИТА был создан идеальный баланс стилей и настроений, которые расплылись естественным образом по 3м площадкам пляжного проекта. Тусовка так же не заставила себя долго ждать и уже ко второй половине дневного сейшена все танцполы жили своей насыщенной жизнью, создавая на каждом из них отличную энергетику и движ. Ну а если без излишней лирики - это были отличные проводы нелёгкого летнего сезона. Но прошли они легко и непринуждённо! Громадное спасибо всем присутствующим за вашу поддержку во время выступления! В эту ночь в Москве прошло не совсем обычное мероприятие с артистом такой величины. Skazi представил программу, приуроченную к 20 летию проекта, отыграв в Москве специальный много часовой сет из лучших работ проекта, а так же представив публике совершенно новые релизы 2019 года Пожалуй, это было одно из самых мощных мероприятий на столичной транс сцене прошлого года. В завершении весеннего клубного сезона в Москве прошло уже традиционное событие из серии ЭКЗОТИКА, которое в очередной раз собрало на танцполе сотни любителей псай транс звучания. Напомню, что общая концепция события заключается в том, что один российский диджей выступает с материалом одного знаменитого мирового транс проекта В этот раз я представлял саунд знаменитого французского транс деятеля - проект Седрика Дассалла - TALAMASCA. Честно признаюсь, ранние работы Седрика меня не очень цепляли. Было несколько интересных работ с XSI и парочка треков с его ежегодных альбомов. И на этом всё. Но последние года 3 музыкант стал прочно закрепляться в материалах моих сетов. Вместе с мелодичностью и атмосферностью, которые всегда были присущи проекту, общий саунд стал насыщаться драйвом и динамикой, которых мне раньше не хватало в работах Таламаски. Итог - сегодня для меня это один из проектов, новые работы которого я всегда жду. В лайве я затронул небольшую часть старых работ Седрика, сделав основной акцент на последние альбомы музыканта. Спустя почти пол года у меня наконец дошли руки выложить свой LIVE DJ SET с последнего прошедшего мероприятия из серии HALLOWEEN, которое разорвало московские танцполы в конце октября 2017-го. Мероприятие было и вправду знаковое! Энергетика и мощь всего происходящего настраивала только на позитивный и музыкально заряженный лад. Состав легендарных артистов представляла команда отличных диджеев и музыкантов с российской стороны.Я закрывал это мероприятие и последние полтора часа очень старался сохранить незабываемую атмосферу, создаваемую на протяжении всей ночи, плавно уводя танцпол в утреннее настроение. Надеюсь - получилось! Громадное всем спасибо, кто "дожил" до самых последних ритмов транс звучания. Это было здорово.
