BANG! @southernvangard #radio presents the BUB ROCK interview session! We head to Strong Island this week to build with a man whose name is being mentioned in some pretty heavy circles as of late, including Hempstead’s own ROC MARCIANO. This October, Bub dropped an LP on his birthday like he normally does, called “A PEACE OF MINE”, which in our opinion is a serious AOTY contender - yeah we said it, and F your list while we’re at it. Bub breaks down why a series of personal losses almost benched the project, which also impacted every aspect of the album - from lyrical content and production, as well as the artwork. We also talk about his upcoming work with frequent collaborators FOULMOUTH and BANG BELUSHI of Detroit’s MIDDLE FINGER MUSIC, more collaboration with producer TROX (we need an EP / LP, fellas) and upcoming vinyl releases on COPENHAGEN CRATES. There’s more where this came from, so get with it and press play, cop something at BUBBAROCK.BANDCAMP.COM today and give thanks for that #SmithsonianGrade #TwiceAWeek #WeAreTheGard // southernvangard.com // @southernvangard on #applepodcasts #stitcherradio #soundcloud #mixcloud #youtube // #hiphop #rap #undergroundhiphop #boombap #DJ #mix #interview #podcast #ATL #WORLDWIDE #RIPCOMBATJACK Recorded live November 15, 2020 @ Dirty Blanket Studios, Marietta, GA southernvangard.com @southernvangard on #applepodcasts #soundcloud #youtube #spotifypodcast #googlepodcasts #stitcherradio #mixcloud #SmithsonianGrade #TwiceAWeek #WeAreTheGard twitter/IG: @southernvangard @jondoeatl @cappuccinomeeks

In this episode, I talk through a simple checklist a hiker can use if they struggle with back pain. == We all know back pain is a terrible thing. There is nothing so stressful, so scary and so debilitating as recurring back pain. And if you are preparing for a significant hike, and you struggle with back pain, it can make things tricky. Because you need to be careful with longer hikes, you need to be careful with heavy pack training and you need to be careful with types of strength training. It can sometimes all seem a bit overwhelming. And in everyday life, this is bad enough. But if you have a significant hike looming over you, with a start date that gets closer and closer, it can really cause you a lot of stress.. I know. Because I have seen this countless times. But I will tell you right now; there is a solution to all of this. It is possible to get fit, strong and resilient for a hiking adventure, even if you struggle with back pain. It is possible to make a significant reduction in your back discomfort, while you are simultaneously improving your hiking conditioning. It is possible to get yourself back to fully enjoying your adventures, without that dark cloud of fear looming over you... And this is all possible with the right guidance, support and advice. If you have found any of this resonating with you today, If you struggle with back pain while hiking and are sick of it ruining your fun on the trail, I am here to help. This October, I am starting a new back pain Case Study group, and I'm looking for hikers who want to make a change. So if you are interested in significantly reducing your back pain over the next 12 weeks, while at the same time improving your hiking fitness, then find me on Facebook or Instagram and shoot me a message with the words' CASE STUDY', and we can chat. === Want to learn more about training for your hiking adventures? North Memphis native Laquita Tate is an educator, interior stylist and content creator for her brand, Laquita Tate Interior Styling & Design. This October she is celebrating her one-year anniversary in the design space turning blank canvases into beautiful works of art. It all started on Chelsea and Lambert growing up in a huge, loving blended family. Laquita became a teen mother at the age of seventeen following in the footsteps of both her mother and grandmother. However, Laquita worked extremely hard to dispel statistics by graduating from college, receiving her doctorate in education and pledging Delta Sigma Theta while attending University of Memphis. Although Laquita is currently serving as a principal, she's learned the perfect balance of incorporating interior design into her world. She is one of four winners for the "Art by Design" contest and is currently attending the New York Institute of Art and Design virtually. Take a listen as Dr. Tate talks about her strong support system, designing spaces and leading a new school as principal during this pandemic.

Merchants who deal in the necessities of modern life and other traditional commodities may feel less vulnerable to chargebacks than retailers operating in the wild west of ecommerce. Certainly, there are risks that are reduced when you’re selling straightforward products at physical storefronts. However, merchants should always seek to understand the specific chargeback scenarios that affect their type of business. This October, the chargeback liability for non-EMV transactions at gas stations will shift, putting those merchants at increased risk for chargebacks. Are fuel merchants prepared to make the changes necessary to protect themselves from a dramatic spike in chargebacks once this shift occurs?EMV-enabled card readers are ubiquitous at brick-and-mortar retail establishments these days, and for good reason. The EMV chip helps to prevent the authorization of transactions made with stolen or cloned credit cards, protecting consumers and reducing fraud in card-present environments. Many gas station pumps, however, still use card readers that work by reading the magnetic stripe on the back of the payment card. The risk of using non-EMV card readers at gas pumps is compounded by the existence of card skimmers. These are small electronic devices that criminals insert into the card reader itself. When a customer swipes their card at the gas pump, the skimmer reads the card information off of the magnetic stripe and stores it for later retrieval. When the fraudster comes back later to pick up the skimmer, they can use the stored payment card data to create “cloned” credit cards or to place card-not-present transactions over the phone or internet.
The death of George Floyd has sparked a nationwide conversation about racism. As our fellow citizens talk about how to reform public policy, it’s also important for the Church to look inward and see how we can better embody the truth of Galatians 3:28: “There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” In this episode of the Influence Podcast, I’m talking to Mark DeYmaz about how the multiethnic church offers a solution to the problem of racism. I’m George P. Wood, executive editor of Influence magazine and your host. One of the architects of the contemporary multiethnic church movement, Mark DeYmaz is the cofounder, CEO, and president of Mosaix, “a relational network of pastors and planters, denominational and network leaders, educators, authors, and researchers alike, that exists to establish healthy multiethnic and economically diverse churches for the sake of the gospel throughout North America and beyond.” This October, Fortress Press will release a new version of his classic book, Building a Healthy Multi-Ethnic Church. ----- This episode of the Influence Podcast is brought to you by My Healthy Church, distributors of Radiant Life Sunday School curriculum. As a leader, it can be frustrating when you don't have the tools your teachers need to engage students in the Bible. Radiant Life Sunday School curriculum is designed to be engaging and easy to use for any teacher, so that leaders can create a thriving ministry that changes lives. Sunny Montgomery lives in Ocoee, Tennessee, in a 600-square-foot cabin she built with her boyfriend. Since November, they've been living off-the-grid, gardening, chicken-keeping and boiling water to take baths. Sunny is a writer and editor with Get Out Chattanooga and Chatter magazine. On summer weekends, she and her boyfriend run a taco truck on the Ocoee River (though this season's opening has been delayed due to coronavirus.) Her passion is whitewater canoeing. Discovering new creeks and rock smears make her happiest, but the Ocoee River, where she learned to paddle and where you'll find her any summer weekend (before opening the taco truck, of course) is among her most favorite places on Earth. Notable past paddling trips include Gates of Lodore in Dinosaur National Monument, Costa Rica and the Grand Canyon. This October – pandemic willing – she has plans to launch for her second Canyon trip. Thanks for listening! Find all our episodes at dayfirepodcast.com This podcast is powered by ZenCast.fm

The students had to recreate each of these environments, using only the available nosies in the classroom and at home, then edit them accordingly to make it sound and feel right. We also hear the great work created by two of the Saturday Academy students as they make show intros for their very own podcast.

Shapeshifters lurk in the shadows, only leaving the confines of the dark catacombs to pray on the innocent. 4 years ago a secret society, run by their leader “Evac October”, closed their portal to the world. After recent renovation work at the Museum, strange occurrences have been caught on CCTV in the night, with unexplained sightings of mysterious figures. This October, try to escape the terrors hiding around every corner of the building in this fast paced Scare Attraction!.
