After a break of almost 7 years, Michael Dietze got back on the decks in the summer of 2016. While he was known to everyone in the 90s and the first half of the 2000s as "Ditte", who made a name for himself with minimal / techno sets not only in Germany, he acquired another style in the Crewe club Molen_Dyk (2003-2006) . He managed to inspire people with Deephouse and Melodic Deep Tech. He has perfected that to this day. Like hardly anyone else, he is able to always incorporate that certain something into his sets. You can tell from the brilliant mixing and track selection that there are almost 30 years of experience behind the decks. He makes music with his heart for the hearts and souls that he captures with “age-appropriate techno”. In 2003 he deservedly won the MDR Sputnik Turntable Days DJ Contest in front of 49 other DJs. Kroman Celik ist ein Projekt, welches von den zwei Venezianern Michele Fanutti und Federico Micolucci ins Leben gerufen wurde. 1990/ 91 fing Michele an, sich für Musik von Labels wie Plus8, Rave Signal, Music Man, Underground Resistance zu interessieren und Platten zu kaufen. Inspiriert von Technokünstlern wie Joey Beltram, Richie Hawtin, Daniel Bell, Robert Armani, began er als Jugendlicher genau diese Musik zu spielen. 1997 lernte er Federico, der damals noch ein Kind war, kennen. Zuerst teilten die beiden insbesondere ihre Leidenschaft für Fussball. Michi war es, der Federico in dieser Zeit für elektronische Musik zu interessieren und begeistern vermochte. Somit begannen die beiden 2002 gemeinsam Musik zu produzieren und hatten dabei viel Spass. KC, inspiriert von Underground-Sounds und deren Rhytmen, basierend auf Minimal-Techno, fingen an, als Djs Minimal Techno in einigen Clubs in Veneto zu spielen. Getrieben von dem Wunsch Musik zu kreieren und inspiriert von Reisen durch Europa, bei denen sie die Möglichkeit hatten, grossartige Künstler wie Rino Cerrone, Par Grindvik, Tony Rohr, Cisco Ferreira, Cari Lekebusch zu hören, entschieden sie 2005 Live-Sets zu spielen um ihre eigenen Produktionen zu zeigen. Sie verwendeten dabei Software und Drumachines und ergänzten und bereicherten ihre Dj- mit Effekten und Samplers. 2006 und 2007 spielten die beiden dann an der Biennale in Venedig. Sie sind inspiriert von Detroit-Techno und dem typischen napoletanischen Groove. Insbesondere interessiert sie die Suche nach und die Verwendung von neuen Sounds, welche wir aus unserem täglichen Leben kennen.

BIO: Dylan Drazen is one of America's most well traveled and globally respected techno DJs. Despite his nature to fly steadily below the world's Superstar DJ radar over the past decade, Dylan has gained legions of devoted fans in worldwide broadband bedrooms who purr at the thought of him appearing in their home town. Dylan is obsessed with finding and exposing new music. Professionally trained as a studio sound engineer, it was inevitable he'd start to create his own. His original productions have been showcased under esteemed labels like François K.'s Clicktracks and Chicago's Blueline, Montreal's Ascend and Sweden's G-Force. But most of his classic distorted hard techno work can be found in the archive of Brooklyn's Remains Records, run by Side Four co-pilot Tony Rohr. Several of Drazen's tracks have been licensed for DJ mixes, including compilations from Chris Liebing, Frankie Bones, Germany's Scranzwerk series, WaveTec, and Portugal's Kaos house imprint. Dylan's most recent studio credits come as mix engineer for large scale mix CD compilations, from Ultra Records' Out.Anthems (in which he has a featured track) to the underground New York 2 "tha" Bone double CD for 2007. The onset of Dylan Drazen's DJ career occurred in 1993; now he's performed in four continents and his musical memory is an encyclopedia of dance music history. When not on the road, he's either mining beats in his Brooklyn studio or diligently searching for set material in the troughs of New York's record shops. His productions span the arenas of house and techno--hard, tribal, deep, floating, pushing and swirling. Impossible to put to words, it's usually hour four into one of his extended sets where every style comes together--blending, lifting, causing a style unto its own. During performances, Dylan's preferred musical palate consists of three decks, a couple of CD players, a looping sampler and outboard effects. During his frequent shows in Spain it's typical to see him grabbing, twisting and manipulating clusters of knobs buttons and faders, all precisely moved to follow his momentary sonic path. They often call him "un máquina," chasing the inspiration flowing through him. Nothing is planned until seconds before it occurs, and when it does, it is extremely deliberate. Sometimes daring and unexpected but strangely fitting sounds are injected into the system on the fly, displaying a true love for his craft. Not afraid to experiment, he risks humiliation before thousands. Given a few hours of warming up, Dylan Drazen will challenge your taste and sense of what a DJ should be. Few master the flow of seamless genre shifting within one set with such technical mastery. His techno roots show as he occasionally dips into the more popular world of tribal and deep house. But he's also been known to execute sessions of straight ahead metallic techno without an ounce of deviation. Many factors contribute to where a set will go, but the final product won't be known, even to Dylan, until it's over. Relentlessly rising as one of the world's primary international dance music luminaries, Dylan has even occasionally been granted access to the teched out booths in the most respected past and present nightclubs in his own backyard: Avalon, Arc, The Tunnel, Twilo and Exit. Born and raised on the Southwest side of Detroit he was exposed to electronic music at a young age. Listening to The Wizzard as he fell asleep at night not knowing who, what, when, where and why this music was so motivational. The music being played in this area at that time was a mix of Latin Freestyle and Bass(Detroit Techno). As a product of his environment he began Djing Latin Freestyle and Bass starting at the age of 16, right around the time (93 or 94) where he was exposed to his first rave. At that point he decided to cash in his Latin Freestyle records for House and Techno. Early in his career of Djing he held residencies at local after hours around Detroit. Such as 420, Club 911, Rehab and Body's just to name a few. Also A.O.D. held weekly residencies at local clubs around Detroit such as OSLO and The Works. Around 2000 he began A.O.D.( Arsenal of Democracy) after reading a Detroit history book. At that time he wanted start doing events. His first party was NYE 2001 at an empty loft on Grand River and Woodward. A.O.D. from that point forward became to be know for one off parties around the city of Detroit show casein talent from the likes of Ryan Elliott, The Surgeon, The Advent, Tony Rohr, Scan 7, Adam Marshall, Barem, Camea, Lee Foss, and most recently The Wolf + Lamb Crew, NRP SoulClap just to name a few. Around 2005 Vinnie along with A.O.D. Moved to Chicago and started to do networking there to set up shows for friends and artists alike. Moving back to Detroit in 2008 You can find Vinnie playing a wide variety of music, from Classic Detroit Techno and House to Hard Techno to Minimal but lately he has developed a feel for Tech House mixed with Deep(discofunkyslowbanginwhateva) House. Moving into 2010 Vinnie along with A.O.D. has taken over the reigns at The Works in Detroit where he is the booking manager. Vinnie as of late has multiple residencies in and around Mi. You can catch Vinnie every Monday at The Flight Club most Fridays at The Works or catch his monthly in Grand Rapids and a monthly at The TV Bar also watch out as he dips in and out of Chicago frequently and playing random events in Detroit. Currently dipping his feet into the Miami Beach night life. Already having a residency at The Pelican Cafe on Ocean Drive. Another month, another Metroline Limited podcast. February 2010 welcomes Franco Bianco from Dilek Records with a LIVE and a DJ set recorded in Cyprus in 2009. Born in Buenos Aires, Franco Bianco grew up having a lot of contact with the music, making mix tapes for the breaks in the school and sharing a lot of young experiences. Playing vinyl since 1998, he participates in many events in the biggest clubs and radio stations of his natal city. In 2004, he presents himself in one of the most important festivals of Argentina: the Personal Festa, sharing line ups with artists like: Pet Shop Boys, Morrisey, Death in Vegas and Gustavo Ceratti among others Actually he is producing releases, remixes and collaborates with labels such as Multivitamins, Hypercolour, and in the past years, he released on Unfoundsound, Meerestief and Lessizmore. One of the latest Fabric compilations, (the fabric 38, mixed by M.A.N.D.Y) includes his track: Noches de Superaciona as intro. The last three years have been very intense, giving him a new start in his career, with successful releases which were remixed by artists such as Marek Hemmann, Tony Rohr, Bloody Mary, Sarah Goldfarb, Federico Molinari, Seuil and Someone Else. In 2007 he had a huge tour which began in Australia, passed by Egypt, and went through 13 countries. With a total of 32 Live presentations over 4 months, where he shared line ups with Steve Bug, Tiefschwarz, Matthew Johnson, Dominik Eulberg, Marco Carola, and many many more. A new tour was scheduled for 2008 in Europe and Central America, to support the Mola vinyl and Origenes EP. This tour was again a huge experience where he also had the chance to play in new places, such as Lithuania, Poland, Colombia, Dominican Republic and last but not least, the Argentinean edition of the Creamfields Buenos Aires, one of the biggest festivals around the globe. 2008 saw also coming his first EP on Dilek Records, Mola (with remixes of Tony Rohr and Bloody Mary), and it was a total success, still played by Laurent Garnier, Anderson Noise, Ivan Smagghe, Frankie, Andre Crom, Nathan Coles, Tim Xavier, Brothers Vibe, Loco Dice and many others. During 2009, he had many gigs (like the ones in Denmark, Spain, Cyprus, Russia, Switzerland, Sweden, Germany and Mexico), and he started another tour to support the Planchete Lateral EP that had enormous amounts of feedbacks and was already sold out few days after the release date. He also worked a lot in his vinyl label Dilek Records, where we can find artists like Pier Bucci, Alexi Delano and Mathias Schaffnauser amongst others artists of his digital sub label Darek Recordings. At the end of this year, he will go back to Argentina to start another South American tour, so be sure to keep an eye on him.
