In today's episode, I talk to Tina Forsyth of Tina Forsyth and Founder of the International Association of Online Business Managers. In this episode, you'll learn: Why being selfish in your business goals can lead to greater personal fulfillment Avoiding being reactive in your business so you don't move further away from your goals Paying attention to others that have laid groundwork in your industry while being true to what's important to you How to make decisions that fit into your personal goals  The importance between Outside-In decisions and Inside-Out decisions Tina Forsyth is a pioneer of systems and specifically systems in online businesses. She trains and coaches business owners in building online businesses, building agencies, virtual hiring and leadership and I think your audience will really love her teaching and insights. Tina is on a mission to free women up to be who they really are (and stop trying to be something they are not!) When that happens, her clients own their power and pay it forward in their communities, illuminating the people around them. That's the empowerment ripple. It's a fitting metaphor because the women she works with are forces of nature. For over twenty years she's worked with 6 and 7 figure business owners to shift them out of burnout so they can shine. The people Tina supports are doing great things in the world and she's been busy doing the same in her career. Tina is a pioneer in the world of online business – having founded and built the organization that is home for the Certified OBM®️ Training. In the 12+ years since its inception, the Online Business Manager industry has become established as a key role on the team of fast-growing online and virtually based businesses. Do you have a goldendoodle? Oh my! I have a goldendoodle, too! Let's do business together! If only generating leads were that easy, right? Well, guess what…..it REALLY can be that easy! If you find yourself constantly struggling to generate leads for your small business, this episode is for you! In today's podcast, I'm going to be covering some useful tips and tricks that have helped me cultivate leads and turn them into clients! I know, this can be an intimidating process and often feel like a burden, but if you aren't constantly looking for new clients, can your business survive? Be persistent. Be persistent. Be persistent. Always assume a client is a “yes” until you ACTUALLY hear them say “no”. Sometimes it takes time for clients to warm up to your greatness…..but once you have them, you'll be able to show them how valuable an asset you can be to their business. My tips for generating more leads in less time: Block 1 hour per day to look for leads but ACTUALLY put it in your calendar! Identify where your ideal client hangs out (Facebook Groups, Instagram), do some research on a potential client, find something you have in common, then reach out and connect if they seem like a good fit. Follow up. FOLLOW up. FOLLOW UP! Hop a call and see where things go. Let people know what you can offer and see if they're interested. Book clients. Be consistent with the steps you set up. If you schedule time to look for leads, then do it. If you haven't sent the follow up email you've been planning to send…..send it! Refine your steps. Repeat.  I know, generating leads can be an arduous process and not everyone is comfortable being a “salesy” person, but there is a difference in being “salesy” and “slimy”. If you follow my simple steps, and incorporate things that work for you, the leads will come without one ounce of slime!  Interested in being a guest on the podcast or know someone who might be?
