Repurpose is defined as: 1. to find a new use for an idea, product, or building: 2. to use something for a different purpose to the one for which it was originally intended.Nobody can afford to spend money on advertisements that don't move the needle. Ads that don't convert, that don't do anything to help grow your business. You should only spend your money on ads that make a difference. And if you don't have an Ad budget to spend, there are other ways to achieve the same result. By putting out content in places where people see it, where people can react to it. and where people want to be involved with it. That is the most important reason for repurposing your content.You've got to go and try to see what works. You have to measure what is working, and then you make adjustments. There is no instant home run where you can say, "Well, I'm going to put everything out in Facebook, and life will be great, or I'm going to put everything out and Pinterest, and will life will be great, Or I'm going to go strictly with LinkedIn. And life will be great." You can't just do that. You have to actually try those things, and measure the results. Just having a Facebook tracking pixel on your page, or on in your episode, is not enough. You have to go in and you have to make some adjustments and settings inside of the Facebook ad manager so that it accurately tracks the results, not just that somebody's been to your page. 3 Tips To Improve Your Voice Behind The MicrophoneBy Bill Griggs and Kingsley GrantPodcast by Friday is a show that helps people create their Minimal Viable Podcast (TM) by taking bold action to defeat procrastination and get their voices heard.Podcast By Friday Episode 163 Tips To Improve Your Voice Behind The Microphone Tip #1: Record yourself speaking and take time to listen to it. - you’ll be surprised to see how many crutch words you use, which if removed, could be an immediate improvement to your voice behind the microphone - crutch words are fillers such as Ahms, Uhms, it’s like, etc. These are used to avoid silence or a pause. - it’s a reflection of nervousness, which can be controlled. - with practice and heightened awareness, this could be drastically reduced.Tip #2: Sitting versus standingSitting leads to less projection of your voice. Being so comfortable in your chair, causes you to project less than if you were standing. - your body posture such as a slouch affects your ability to sound out words. Your diaphragm is compressed while sitting - standing on the other hand gives access to the air flow, which is how you sound out words. It aids your exhalation process. Speaking requires great use and management of your breathing. - standing allows you to project your voice a whole lot more.- some podcasters and other radio personalities have moved away from sitting behind a desk to a standing position while recording.Tip #3: Join a Toastmasters or similar group or get a speaking coach - one of the most long running groups that helps people on how to speak better, is Toastmasters International. - there are other groups that may offer similar opportunities.- outside of having a group, you could hire a coach or a mentor to help develop your speaking skills.Bonus Tip: Use proper breathing techniques: - learn taking breaths if you start playing before you take a breath you are going to run out of breath before you’re done playing. - use proper techniques in your breathing pattern. Example taking a deep breath and then expelling the air through your mouth pushing from the diaphragm. What do you normally do?Here's the typical scenario:You: "Would Monday at 9 a.m. work for you?"After waiting between 12 to 24 hours and sometimes longer, you receive this email: "I'm sorry that time and date doesn't work for me."You: "What about Thursday at 11 a.m.?"Guest: "I"m sorry that doesn't work for me."You both are feeling frustrated.
