SHOW NOTES   In Podcast Episode 332, “We All Need One of These People in Our Life,” Kim discusses the people who have encouraged each of us to live lives worthy of the Lord and the importance of doing the same for others. Jehoiada not only helped to physically protect the baby Joash until he took the throne of Judah, but he was also part of his spiritual protection and provision. May we all be Jehoiada's in the lives of others.   Our focal passage for this episode is 2 Kings 11:17-12:3, with 12:2 as the focal verse:   2 All his life Joash did what was pleasing in the Lord's sight because Jehoiada the priest instructed him.     WEEKLY ENGAGEMENT FEATURE:   Who has encouraged you to do what is pleasing in the Lord's sight?   Additional Resources and Scriptures:   11 So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing. Bob Mould with Will Anderson (Hotline TNT)

Talkhouse Podcast

On this week's Talkhouse Podcast, we've got an absolute legend of the punk and indie-rock worlds in conversation with a relatively newer voice who's making some great music, too: Bob Mould and Will Anderson. Bob Mould got his start in the late 1970s with the Minneapolis-born punk / post-punk band Husker Du, a trio that was at the tip of the spear of incredible new sounds. After that band ran out of jet fuel in the late 1980s, Mould embarked on a solo career and also created the band Sugar, itself a touchstone outfit. Mould has released a total of 15 solo albums over the years, and there's not a dud in the bunch. His latest is a tuneful, melodic set of ragers called Here We Go Crazy, which he once again made with his ace rhythm section, Jon Wurster and Jason Narducy. He's toured a bunch in support of the record with those guys, but his next set of dates—in August and September, check bobmould.com for details—will find him playing solo-electric, which is also a powerful way to experience these songs. Check out the title track of Here We Go Crazy right here. The other half of today's conversation is Will Anderson, who's been making music for the past few years under the name Hotline TNT—sometimes by himself, sometimes with a rotating band of players. His first album under the name, Nineteen in Love, was recorded by himself during COVID, all in GarageBand. His third—and second for Jack White's Third Man Records—feels much more like a full-band affair: It's more fleshed out and expansive. Hotline TNT has frequently been called a shoegaze band, but it's a tag that Anderson is quick to refute, at least a little bit: In this conversation, he says that his shoegaze knowledge pretty much begins and ends with My Bloody Valentine. Whatever you call it, its swirls and layers feel pretty damn good right now. Check out a little bit of “Julia's War” from the latest Hotline TNT album, Raspberry Moon. In this great chat, Bob and Will talk about Bob's recent commencement speech at his alma mater and they also chat about the proper construction of an album, playing overseas for the first time, Bob's Super Bowl appearance and much more. Enjoy! Thanks for listening to the Talkhouse Podcast, and thanks to Will Anderson and Bob Mould for chatting. The "MobileViews 570" podcast, featuring Todd Ogasawara and Dr. Jon Westfall on July 13th, 2025, tackles a crucial theme: "Die by the IoT". This isn't just a catchy title; it's a deep dive into the frustrating reality of smart devices becoming obsolete due to company decisions. John Westfall shared his dismay over Belkin's WeMo smart home devices, including a light switch he uses, losing support on January 31st, 2026, less than three years after some models were last sold. He suspects a recent sale he took advantage of was due to its impending discontinuation. This echoes his prior experience with iHome ISP5 smart plugs, whose service was discontinued years ago, though they luckily retained functionality via Apple HomeKit compatibility. Todd resonated with this, recalling a sub-$50 purple NAS-like device that became inaccessible when its cloud service was unexpectedly shut down. Both hosts strongly agreed with the sentiment of an Ars Technica article, "Belkin shows tech firms getting too comfortable with bricking customers stuff," expressing their frustration with the dependency on cloud-based services and the expectation that products should last more than two or two and a half years. They also noted that even major players like Microsoft (Azure IoT) and Google (Cloud IoT) have been closing their IoT services for developers, leaving developers in a tough spot. A potential solution, as suggested by John, could be for companies to release the code for discontinued devices to the "geeky IoT community" for ongoing support. Beyond the looming threat of device obsolescence, Todd and John explored the evolving landscape of AI and exciting new gadgets. Todd discussed Perplexity's Comet AI browser, noting its current requirement for a $200/month Perplexity subscription for full access, though a waitlist for a free version exists. They lamented the challenge of discerning the utility of various AI services like Copilot, Gemini, and ChatGPT due to their constantly changing and inconsistent features. Todd primarily uses Google's Gemini, which he recently leveraged to find a "way fun" method to import a photo of his line drawing into Procreate for digital coloring underneath the lines. John, on a more creative note, is co-authoring a musical titled "Happy Apocalypse" with AI. He also highlighted the practical application of AI, using his Plod Note Pin (or transcribing Teams recordings via Plod) to summarize dissertation student meetings, proving highly useful for both himself and the student's progress reports. The podcast also delved into some compelling new hardware. John enthusiastically shared his experience with the Kobo Libra Color 2 e-reader, which boasts a color E Ink display, a stylus (sold separately), and native connectivity to Google Drive and Dropbox, offering a flexible, non-Amazon alternative to his old Kindle Oasis. He particularly praised the stylus's paper-like feel on the E Ink display, with low latency, making it ideal for note-taking, marking up, and highlighting. Meanwhile, Todd acquired a low-cost Arturia MiniLab 3 MIDI controller, a USB-C powered device with drum pads, sliders, knobs, and velocity-sensitive keys, which works well with GarageBand. John also recently picked up the Wand Company Star Trek Original Series Tricorder, noting its high quality, functional disks, and voice recorder. Other brief mentions included Todd's anticipation for iPad OS 26's public beta, his past experiences with the Microsoft Spot Watch, John's inexplicable phone time zone glitch, Todd's interest in an E Ink touchpad concept for computer keyboards, and his fondness for the now-removed MacBook Pro Touch Bar. The episode wrapped up with the hosts looking forward to future tech discussions and adventures.

SHOW NOTES   In Podcast Episode 331, “Which Child Will You Protect?” Kim discusses the responsibility we have to be protectors of the next generation. In today's story, we see at least three people who were in on a dangerous child protection project. Each of them risked their life to hide a baby boy from his out-of-control, power-hungry grandmother, Athaliah.   Our focal passage for this episode is 2 Kings 11:1-16, with 2-3 as the focal verse:   2 But Ahaziah's sister Jehosheba, the daughter of King Jehoram, took Ahaziah's infant son, Joash, and stole him away from among the rest of the king's children, who were about to be killed. She put Joash and his nurse in a bedroom, and they hid him from Athaliah, so the child was not murdered. 3 Joash remained hidden in the Temple of the Lord for six years while Athaliah ruled over the land.     WEEKLY ENGAGEMENT FEATURE:   Is there a child you are concerned about? Please pray for the child and prepare to act if the Lord leads.   Additional Resources and Scriptures:   13 One day some parents brought their children to Jesus so he could lay his hands on them and pray for them. But the disciples scolded the parents for bothering him. 14 But Jesus said, “Let the children come to me. Don't stop them! For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like these children.” 15 And he placed his hands on their heads and blessed them before he left. Want to request a song? Tell us your rating? Send us a Text Message right now! Kelly Osbourne: “Papa Don't Preach” Epic Records, 2002 Pitchfork Rating: 3.7In a move that can only be described as “aggressively Y2K,” Kelly Osbourne—daughter of Ozzy, wearer of neon hair, and survivor of MTV's The Osbournes—emerged from the reality-TV fog of war to drop her cover of Madonna's “Papa Don't Preach.” A bold choice, given that Madonna's version is iconic, controversial, and, crucially, good. Kelly's version? It exists.Let's be clear: this is not so much a cover as it is a hostage situation. The song has been taken, tied to a chair in a Hot Topic changing room, and forced to watch early-2000s nu-metal music videos on loop. Guitars are over-distorted. The vocals sound like they were recorded on a Motorola Razr during a family argument. The production is less “punk rebellion” and more “GarageBand preset titled ‘Mall Goth.'”Osbourne's voice, while not the worst thing to ever emerge from a celebrity lineage (looking at you, The Return of Bruno), delivers the lyrics with all the emotional depth of a mildly annoyed barista. When she pleads, “I'm keeping my baby,” it sounds less like defiance and more like someone refusing to return a damaged Forever 21 item without a receipt. That said, there's a perverse charm to it. Like a can of expired Monster Energy found under a car seat, it's a little gross, vaguely threatening, and very much a product of its time. There's even something punk in the audacity of it all—less “fight the system” and more “I dared my label to let me do this and they blinked.”Ultimately, Kelly Osbourne's “Papa Don't Preach” is the kind of cover that reminds you of how great the original was, mainly because halfway through, you'll probably stop and listen to Madonna's instead. And maybe that's the point. Or maybe it's just a vibe. A crunchy, chaotic, eyeliner-smeared vibe.Best Track: The 1986 original RIYL: Watching VH1 at 2 am, burning your ex's hoodie, riding in the backseat of a PT Cruiser.DUBBY DUBBY is declaring WAR on big Energy! The episode offers actionable advice and inspiration for aspiring content creators looking to improve their video production and connect with viewers.Top TakeawaysContent Is King—Even with Imperfect Production: Across the discussion, Michelle and Sam stress that storytelling, relevance, and usefulness matter more than having flawless lighting, audio, or editing. Viewers are drawn to authentic, valuable stories, not just polished visuals. Imperfection is not a deal-breaker if the message resonates. You Don't Need Expensive Gear to Get Started: Michelle began her podcast with just her built-in Mac mic; Sam started with a $12 lav mic. Both reinforced that starting with what you have—whether it's free software like Audacity, basic webcams, or a phone—is more than enough. You can upgrade incrementally as your content and skills grow.Audio Setup and Environment Make a Big Difference: Simple adjustments like mic placement, soundproofing with rugs or curtains, and checking input levels (especially after software updates) can dramatically improve audio quality. SHOW NOTES   In Podcast Episode 330, “Are You Guilty of Cafeteria-Style Obedience?” Kim discusses the temptation we all face to pick and choose what we want to obey. Today's story highlights the character King Jehu of Israel, who did an outstanding job (seemingly going a bit overboard) with wiping out the evil lineage of King Ahab, but did a pitiful job serving the Lord in other areas. May our testimony not be the same, and may we be known as one who loves the Lord with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength.   Our focal passage for this episode is 2 Kings 10:1-36, with 31 as the focal verse:   “But Jehu did not obey the Law of the Lord, the God of Israel, with all his heart. He refused to turn from the sins that Jeroboam had led Israel to commit.”     WEEKLY ENGAGEMENT FEATURE:   When you listened to the biblical story example of cafeteria-style obedience, did the Spirit convict you regarding your own life?   Additional Resources and Scriptures:   EMAIL — encouragingothersinlovingjesus@gmail.com X - https://x.com/eoinlovingjesus?s=21&t=YcRjZQUpvP7FrJmm7Pe1hg INSTAGRAM -  https://www.instagram.com/encouragingothersinlovingjesus/ “Encouraging Others in Loving Jesus” YouTube Channel: Check it out at https://www.youtube.com/@EncouragingOthersInLovingJesus I WANT TO BEGIN A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS CHRIST.   RESOURCES USED FOR BOOK OF 1 & 2 Kings PODCASTS: “The Wiersbe Bible Commentary: The Complete Old Testament OT in One Volume” “Christ-Centered Exposition: Exalting Jesus in 1 & 2 Kings” by Tony Merida “The Tony Evans Bible Commentary: Advancing God's Kingdom Agenda” “Life Application Study Bible” “The Swindoll Study Bible: NLT” by Charles R. SHOW NOTES   In Podcast Episode 329, “The Lord Is Never 'Slow' in Keeping His Promises,” Kim discusses the challenge of waiting on the Lord to fulfill His promises. In today's story, we see the long-awaited fulfillment of the Lord's promise to destroy Queen Jezebel for her lifetime of evil deeds.   Our focal passage for this episode is 2 Kings 9:1-37, with 36-37 as the focal verses:   36 When they returned and told Jehu, he stated, “This fulfills the message from the Lord, which he spoke through his servant Elijah from Tishbe: ‘At the plot of land in Jezreel, dogs will eat Jezebel's body. 37 Her remains will be scattered like dung on the plot of land in Jezreel, so that no one will be able to recognize her.'”     WEEKLY ENGAGEMENT FEATURE:   Spend a few prayerful moments pondering the sometimes perceived slowness of the fulfillment of the promises of God.   Additional Resources and Scriptures:   20 “So, my enemy, you have found me!” Ahab exclaimed to Elijah. “Yes,” Elijah answered, “I have come because you have sold yourself to what is evil in the Lord's sight. 21 So now the Lord says, ‘I will bring disaster on you and consume you. I will destroy every one of your male descendants, slave and free alike, anywhere in Israel! 22 I am going to destroy your family as I did the family of Jeroboam son of Nebat and the family of Baasha son of Ahijah, for you have made me very angry and have led Israel into sin.' 23 “And regarding Jezebel, the Lord says, ‘Dogs will eat Jezebel's body at the plot of land in Jezreel.' 24 “The members of Ahab's family who die in the city will be eaten by dogs, and those who die in the field will be eaten by vultures.” (1 Kings 21:20-24) 8 But you must not forget this one thing, dear friends: A day is like a thousand years to the Lord, and a thousand years is like a day. 9 The Lord isn't really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent. SHOW NOTES   In Podcast Episode 328, “She Encouraged Him in Doing Wrong,” Kim discusses the evil influences on King Ahaziah of Judah. Not only did his own mother encourage him in doing wrong, but he was advised in similar directions by other relatives. All of us have had at least one person who either encouraged us in doing wrong or did something to us that changed the trajectory of our lives. Sadly, some of us may have also been that person in the lives of others. May God use today's lesson to bring to the light what has been hiding in darkness, and bring His healing to hurting hearts.   Our focal passage for this episode is 2 Kings 8:25-29 and 2 Chronicles 22:1-9, with 2 Chronicles 22:3 as the focal verse:   3 Ahaziah also followed the evil example of King Ahab's family, for his mother encouraged him in doing wrong.     WEEKLY ENGAGEMENT FEATURE:   Who encouraged you in doing wrong? He helped launch iTunes, the first iPods, and he co-created GarageBand, which opened the world of music production to creators everywhere, inspiring indie music makers around the world. Today Xander's focus is wine. His latest venture is Xander Soren Wines, a boutique wine label with wines that truly sing. Xander certainly brought the Apple design sensibility to his wines in the packaging and in the elegance of the Pinot Noir made with one of our favorite winemakers, Shalini Sekhar. We've never met a vintner or winemaker who counts top Japanese sushi masters as friends. Nor have I ever heard a reaction to a wine where a friend who I recently shared a bottle of Xander's Olivet Lane Pinot Noir from the Russian River Valley say it slides into sushi and takes the place of soy sauce. We'll explore Xander's decidedly different approach to wine, which includes his personally curated playlist to help you get in the groove to enjoy wine.

SHOW NOTES   In Podcast Episode 326, “Having the Heart of the Good Shepherd,” Kim discusses the heart of the Good Shepherd, as detailed in John 10, and the importance of praying for that heart to be in leaders today. Sadly, many who have been privileged to proclaim the Word of God, either in a pulpit or in a concert setting, have acted more like the wolf than a Godly shepherd. In this episode of Tank Talk, Shannon and Cassie dive into the hot topic of AI and environmental compliance. Cassie Kuzis, part of the Integrity Environmental team, joins the podcast for the first time with Shannon to weigh in on AI. With AI tools becoming more common in operations, Shannon decided to run a little experiment: Can ChatGPT write a Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plan? Spoiler alert - it didn't go well. Shannon walks us through the results of three AI-generated SPCC plans, revealing the major compliance failures, regulatory inaccuracies, and risky oversights that came with each attempt. From missing signatures and misapplied containment definitions to false statements and oversimplified training requirements, the experiment highlights why environmental plans and permits should always be developed by qualified professionals. Tune in to hear: Why SPCCs are legal documents - and why that matters Where AI went wrong (and what it surprisingly got right) What you should do when considering tech support for environmental planning This is a must-listen for facility managers, compliance officers, and anyone curious about the limits of AI in regulated industries. Support the showintro/outro created with GarageBand

SHOW NOTES   In Podcast Episode 324, “What Would Cause You to Miss a Miracle?” Kim discusses the miracle that seemed to have been missed by the Israelites and their king. We see no evidence in scriptures that they were even aware that the Lord had intervened on their behalf, let alone understand what the Lord did to cause the Aramean army to flee. How often have you been like them and missed the miracles the Lord has done on your behalf? What caused you to miss them, and how can you keep that from happening again?   Our focal passage for this episode is 2 Kings 7:1-20, with verses 6-7:   6 For the Lord had caused the Aramean army to hear the clatter of speeding chariots and the galloping of horses and the sounds of a great army approaching. “The king of Israel has hired the Hittites and Egyptians to attack us!” they cried to one another. 7 So they panicked and ran into the night, abandoning their tents, horses, donkeys, and everything else, as they fled for their lives.     WEEKLY ENGAGEMENT FEATURE:   What would cause YOU to miss a miracle?   Additional Resources and Scriptures:   EMAIL — encouragingothersinlovingjesus@gmail.com TWITTER - https://twitter.com/EOinLovingJesus INSTAGRAM -  https://www.instagram.com/encouragingothersinlovingjesus/ “Encouraging Others in Loving Jesus” YouTube Channel: Check it out at https://www.youtube.com/@EncouragingOthersInLovingJesus   I WANT TO BEGIN A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS CHRIST. Jxmie Blake is a genre-blending artist, producer, and educator whose work fuses jazz, soul, hip hop, pop, and electronic music into a bold and expressive signature sound. Known for his innovative approach to Ableton Push as a chromatic instrument, Jxmie is a multi-talented creator with a deep background in audio engineering, songwriting, and sound design. With degrees from Berklee College of Music and a client list including Ableton, Red Bull, and Ludacris, he's quickly becoming a leading voice in modern music education and performance. In this conversation, Jxmie and I dive into the creative mindset—how breaking the rules, following sparks of inspiration, and simplifying your workflow can lead to unexpected breakthroughs. We explore the power of limitations, the importance of finishing ideas (even imperfect ones), and how developing a strong relationship with your tools—like Push—can unlock musical freedom. It's an honest look at the balance between discipline and play, structure and spontaneity, and why sometimes the best thing you can do is stop overthinking and just make something. Listen on Apple, Spotify, YouTube Takeaways: Push as a Chromatic Instrument – Jxmie breaks down how Push can function like a guitar fretboard, opening up intuitive, expressive playing that bridges the gap between traditional instruments and digital music-making. Creative Freedom Through Limitations – Embracing limited gear or working with only stock tools can actually foster more creativity and deeper exploration. Breaking the Rules Is the Point – Jxmie encourages musicians to intentionally break conventions—whether it's stacking effects, pushing gear beyond intended use, or warping samples into unrecognizable textures. Music as Self-Expression – The ultimate goal isn't perfection, but expressing what's inside you—your mood, your perspective, your story. Reckless Experimentation Leads to Inspiration – Playing without a specific goal, just to see what happens, often leads to surprising and exciting results. Gear Doesn't Make the Artist – Even basic tools like GarageBand or stock Ableton devices can be powerful when fully understood and creatively applied. Teaching as Empowerment – Through his work at 1500 Sound Academy and his online courses, Jxmie focuses on empowering students to unlock their own creative voices, regardless of background or skill level. Creative Blocks Are Often Internal – As we gain technical skills, creative challenges become more mental and emotional—expectations, self-judgment, and overthinking can block our flow. Start with Play, Not Pressure – Some of the best creative moments happen when you approach music playfully, without the weight of needing to make something great. The Process Is the Product – Whether it's creating sounds, building devices, or finishing songs, the act of exploring, tweaking, and iterating is as valuable as the final result. SHOW NOTES:   In Podcast Episode 323, “The Miracle of Divine Insight,” Kim discusses the pattern of divine insights received and shared by the prophet Elisha. As we have walked through the stories of Elisha and his ministry, we have encountered multiple times in which Elisha knew information he had not received through human means. He had the inside scoop or the “before it happened” information. Why did the Lord trust Him with so many insights, and why might the Lord withhold insights from many followers today? Please tune in to hear Kim discuss some of her thoughts.   Our focal passage for this episode is 2 Kings 6:32-7:2:   32 Elisha was sitting in his house with the elders of Israel when the king sent a messenger to summon him. But before the messenger arrived, Elisha said to the elders, “A murderer has sent a man to cut off my head. When he arrives, shut the door and keep him out. We will soon hear his master's steps following him.” 33 While Elisha was still saying this, the messenger arrived. And the king said, “All this misery is from the Lord! Why should I wait for the Lord any longer?” 1 Elisha replied, “Listen to this message from the Lord! This is what the Lord says: By this time tomorrow in the markets of Samaria, six quarts of choice flour will cost only one piece of silver, and twelve quarts of barley grain will cost only one piece of silver.” 2 The officer assisting the king said to the man of God, “That couldn't happen even if the Lord opened the windows of heaven!” But Elisha replied, “You will see it happen with your own eyes, but you won't be able to eat any of it!”   WEEKLY ENGAGEMENT FEATURE:   Have you ever personally experienced the miracle of divine insight?   Additional Resources and Scriptures:   From Got Questions — “The biblical definition of a miracle would be something like this: ‘an event that involves the direct and powerful action of God, transcending the ordinary laws of nature and defying common expectations of behavior.' Miracles are extraordinary occurrences that can only be attributed to the supernatural work of God and demonstrate His involvement in human history.“ 27 But when she came to the man of God at the mountain, she fell to the ground before him and caught hold of his feet. Gehazi began to push her away, but the man of God said, “Leave her alone. She is deeply troubled, but the Lord has not told me what it is.” (2 Kings 4:27) 48 “How do you know about me?” Nathanael asked. Jesus replied, “I could see you under the fig tree before Philip found you.” (John 1:48) EMAIL — encouragingothersinlovingjesus@gmail.com TWITTER - https://twitter.com/EOinLovingJesus INSTAGRAM -  https://www.instagram.com/encouragingothersinlovingjesus/ “Encouraging Others in Loving Jesus” YouTube Channel: Check it out at https://www.youtube.com/@EncouragingOthersInLovingJesus I WANT TO BEGIN A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS CHRIST. Self-producing tracks on GarageBand that lived in the lo-fi, bedroom pop, indie world and posting them to SoundCloud just for fun quickly introduced her to the music industry. With a discography described as ‘introspective pop,' her intricate songwriting is always the heart of every track, allowing her to follow her intuition and take her writing into different genres and soundscapes. April has toured Europe supporting artists such as Alec Benjamin, Matilda Mann and Claud. April shares: “I wrote Puppy when I was living in London, processing the end of a relationship & how fast someone moved on—almost instinctively, like they couldn't help themselves. It's a mix of frustration and acceptance, wrapped in something lighthearted & funny, I've realized I deal with a lot of big feelings with humour and comedy. I wanted the song to feel like a memory you can't quite place, the little details that stick with you even when everything else fades.”

SHOW NOTES:   In Podcast Episode 322, “Quicker to Point Fingers Than Bow Knees,” Kim discusses the importance of prayer and self-reflection amid challenging circumstances. Like King Joram in our story today, we struggle with the temptation to blame others and/or God when trouble comes our way. And, yes, sometimes the choices of others do lead to difficult circumstances for many. However, no matter the challenge and no matter the source(s), we can still go to the Lord and be drawn closer to Him in the process. Waste no opportunity to seek Him.   Our focal passage for this episode is 2 Kings 6:24-31 with 30-31 as the focal verse:   30 When the king heard this, he tore his clothes in despair. From Toastmasters-style public speaking to Apple-powered media literacy, JOSHWAY isn't just meeting kids where they are—it's helping them lead. They're not reinventing the wheel—they're upgrading it. “We're not just starting new programs,” says Glenn. “We're transforming existing ones for the 21st century.” Digital Skills Meet Real-World Impact Through partnerships with Apple and others, students are learning how to use Keynote to build presentations, GarageBand to create podcasts, and financial literacy tools to better understand money. And the team's entrepreneurial spirit shines: “We're scrappy. We're flexible. We move fast,” David adds. Community First, Always JOSHWAY's new headquarters on Northampton Street is just the beginning. The team is now running inbound and outbound workshops and collaborating with organizations like El Sistema and Century Promise to scale impact. They're calling for others—especially those aged 35 to 45—to join the movement. “If you're not ready to start your own thing,” David says, “take a board seat. Get involved.” What's Next? JOSHWAY is working on expanding into school curricula, launching youth Toastmasters programs, and publishing Joshua and the Power of Resilience, a forthcoming book co-authored by Glenn. The message is clear: This is just the beginning. And they're building a blueprint for a new kind of youth empowerment—visionary, modern, and deeply rooted in community. SHOW NOTES:   In Podcast Episode 321, “Open Their Eyes and Let Them See,” Kim discusses the uplifting story in 2 Kings 6, as the prophet Elisha continues to be God's messenger. Today's passage contains moments of humor, but should also create a sense of awe regarding the Lord of Heaven's Armies. Kim also shares a short story from Rev. Billy Graham's book “Angels” that you won't want to miss.   Our focal passage for this episode is 2 Kings 6:8-23, with 17 as the focal verse:   17 Then Elisha prayed, “O Lord, open his eyes and let him see!” The Lord opened the young man's eyes, and when he looked up, he saw that the hillside around Elisha was filled with horses and chariots of fire.     WEEKLY ENGAGEMENT FEATURE:   For whom do you need to pray?: “Please open her/his eyes and let her/him see.”   Additional Resources and Scriptures: Psalm 91 “Angels:God's Secret Agents” by Billy Graham “Seeing the Supernatural: Investigating Angels, Demons, Mystical Dreams, Near-Death Encounters, and Other Mysteries of the Unseen World” by Lee Strobel EMAIL — encouragingothersinlovingjesus@gmail.com TWITTER - https://twitter.com/EOinLovingJesus INSTAGRAM -  https://www.instagram.com/encouragingothersinlovingjesus/ “Encouraging Others in Loving Jesus” YouTube Channel: Check it out at https://www.youtube.com/@EncouragingOthersInLovingJesus   I WANT TO BEGIN A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS CHRIST. Sasami is a singer, songwriter and producer who grew up in Los Angeles. But now she's based in Northern California, and as you'll hear in this episode, that's significant. Sasami went to school for classical French horn. She was in the band Cherry Glazerr, and she's had a lot of collaborations with other artists on their projects and her own. Collaboration is at the heart of the song that I talked to her about for this episode. It's called “In Love With A Memory,” and it features Clairo on vocals, and it was co-produced with Grammy-winning producer Rostam. The song is on Sasami's third album, Blood on the Silver Screen, which is out March 2025. Coming up, you'll hear the original voice memos that she recorded for this song back in the fall of 2022. You'll also hear the demo she made in Garageband after that, and then how she and Rostam turned that demo into the final version, a duet with Clairo. For more info, visit songexploder.net/sasami.
