Send us Fan MailCraig's internet went down, so I grabbed the mic, opened GarageBand, and turned a quiet week into a full-on geocaching travel report. If you've ever wondered what makes a mega event feel genuinely worth the drive, West Bend, Wisconsin has an answer: the $1,000 West Bend Cash Bash, a town that embraces geocachers, and a lineup of brand-new hides that are actually creative, polished, and fun to do back-to-back.I walk through why West Bend has built a reputation as the geocaching capital of the Midwest, from the scale (they advertise 1,200 geocaches within 10 miles) to the tradition of releasing 50 new caches for the event. I break down how the cash raffle and prize tickets work, what the “all things Wisconsin” theme looks like on the trail, and the specific caches that made me laugh out loud, including a cheese shop-style container, a Quick Trip multi that nails the gas station vibe, a Hodag creature build, and even a cow you get to “milk” to earn the find. There's also the people side: seeing familiar faces, meeting newer geocaching creators Mitch and Becca, and trading my shareables in person for the first time. I wrap with practical planning tips for next year (timing, lodging, and why an Airbnb can beat inflated hotel rates) plus a bonus detour to the Miller Brewery tour in Milwaukee, complete with a geocache that's been around since 2001.If you enjoy geocaching stories, gadget caches, Midwest travel, and destination-worthy hide quality, subscribe, share this with a caching friend, and leave us a review so more people can find the show.Support the showFacebookInstagramYoutube

SHOW NOTES   In Podcast Episode 387, “When Will You Stop Running?” Kim discusses the vivid imagery in Jeremiah 2 that describes the Israelites' unfaithfulness. The Lord asked them: “When will you stop running? When will you stop panting after other gods?” Good questions for us to answer today, don't you think?   Our focal passage for this episode is Jeremiah 2:23-37, with 23-25 as the focal verses:   23 “You say, ‘That's not true!     I haven't worshiped the images of Baal!' But how can you say that?     Go and look in any valley in the land! Face the awful sins you have done.     You are like a restless female camel     desperately searching for a mate. 24 You are like a wild donkey,     sniffing the wind at mating time. Who can restrain her lust?     Those who desire her don't need to search,     for she goes running to them! 25 When will you stop running?     When will you stop panting after other gods? But you say, ‘Save your breath.     I'm in love with these foreign gods,     and I can't stop loving them now!'     WEEKLY ENGAGEMENT FEATURE:   To which gods have you been running?   Additional Resources and Scriptures:   Facebook Group - https://www.facebook.com/groups/encouragingothersinlovingjesus X - https://x.com/eoinlovingjesus?s=21&t=YcRjZQUpvP7FrJmm7Pe1hg INSTAGRAM -  https://www.instagram.com/encouragingothersinlovingjesus/ “Encouraging Others in Loving Jesus” YouTube Channel: Check it out at https://www.youtube.com/@EncouragingOthersInLovingJesus   I WANT TO BEGIN A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS CHRIST.   RESOURCES USED FOR BOOK OF Jeremiah/Lamentation PODCASTS: “The Wiersbe Bible Commentary: The Complete Old Testament OT in One Volume” “Christ-Centered Exposition: Exalting Jesus in Jeremiah & Lamentations by Steven Smith “Life Application Study Bible” “The Swindoll Study Bible: NLT” by Charles R. This picture applies to Christ-followers today just as it did for the Israelites.   Our focal passage for this episode is Jeremiah 2:1-13, with 13 as the focal verse:   13 “For my people have done two evil things: They have abandoned me—     the fountain of living water. But what if some of the biggest environmental liabilities aren't covered by either? In this episode of Tank Talk, Shannon and Haley explore the environmental compliance risks that often go unnoticed during due diligence and why those risks can impact valuation, profitability, financing, insurance, and future operations long after a deal closes. From missing permits and poor recordkeeping to overdue inspections, infrastructure documentation gaps, and compliance history, the team discusses the operational environmental issues that buyers, sellers, lenders, and investors should evaluate before acquiring industrial assets. Whether you're involved in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, commercial lending, or industrial facility operations, this episode provides practical insight into the environmental risks that may not appear in a traditional Phase I or Phase II assessment. Because when it comes to industrial acquisitions, contamination isn't the only environmental liability worth investigating. Support the showintro/outro created with GarageBand

SHOW NOTES   In Podcast Episode 382, “Turning Points in History,” Kim discusses how turning points in history affect us, whether they be personal turning points or those of nations. In today's text, we see a turning point in the history of the nation of Israel: the fall of Jerusalem. God had consistently sent His prophets, especially Jeremiah, to warn the people of the consequences they would experience for their sinful lifestyles, but they refused to heed the warnings. May we learn from their bad choices, as well as our own turning points, and live lives wholly surrendered to the Lord.   Our focal passage for this episode is 2 Kings 25:1-21 and 2 Chronicles 36:17-21, with 2 Chronicles 36:17-21 as the focal verses:   17 So the Lord brought the king of Babylon against them. The Babylonians killed Judah's young men, even chasing after them into the Temple. They had no pity on the people, killing both young men and young women, the old and the infirm. God handed all of them over to Nebuchadnezzar. 18 The king took home to Babylon all the articles, large and small, used in the Temple of God, and the treasures from both the Lord's Temple and from the palace of the king and his officials. 19 Then his army burned the Temple of God, tore down the walls of Jerusalem, burned all the palaces, and completely destroyed everything of value. 20 The few who survived were taken as exiles to Babylon, and they became servants to the king and his sons until the kingdom of Persia came to power. 21 So the message of the Lord spoken through Jeremiah was fulfilled. The land finally enjoyed its Sabbath rest, lying desolate until the seventy years were fulfilled, just as the prophet had said.     WEEKLY ENGAGEMENT FEATURE:   Identify the turning points of your life. The Cigar Box Guitar Builder Podcast

Welcome to The CBG Builder Podcast! There will be some changes happening over the next few weeks. The team and I will be getting together to talk about CBGs and other fun stuff as usual, but I'll be returning to the original way of interviewing builders and players as well as  uploading build tips along the way. This is how I started the podcast ten years ago. We have stopped our sponsorship and affiliate link from the wonderful team at C.B.Gitty because I wanted to feel free to interview anyone I liked and it was difficult for me to do that as I was worried that it may offend our sponsor. I appreciate all the help that Ben and the team have provided over the last couple of years and I wish them well.  Moving forward the show is sponsored by..... Me. Just me, Birdwood Guitars and KILLER STRINGS Australia. The show has cost upwards of $500 a year to run with hosting fees and the rental of the recording software. Having said that, I'll be switching over to Garage Band to record the show from now on so hopefully that will cut costs down dramatically. There are still some wrinkles to iron out as is evident with today's episode.  Please bare with us as we make these changes and please support the show by telling your friends about it and sharing it on FB with your build buddies.  You can find me at www.birdwoodguitars.com You can order KILLER STRINGS in Australia at www.killerstringsaustralia.com and in the USA at www.killerstrings.com I'm truly pumped to produce a killer show that informs, entertains and excites:) Best regards, Adam Harrison

SHOW NOTES   In Podcast Episode 381, “Defining Moment vs. Moment of Defiance,” Kim discusses the similarities and differences between King Zedekiah of Judah and Samson. Both leaders had opportunities in the midst of great adversity to cry out to God, but only one used his voice to beg God to intervene. What became a defining moment for Samson was only one last moment of defiance for Zedekiah, and his life and legacy are found lacking.   Our focal passage for this episode is 2 Kings 25:1-7, with 7 as the focal verse:   7 They made Zedekiah watch as they slaughtered his sons. Then they gouged out Zedekiah's eyes, bound him in bronze chains, and led him away to Babylon.   Lagniappe:   21 So the Philistines captured him and gouged out his eyes. They took him to Gaza, where he was bound with bronze chains and forced to grind grain in the prison…28 Then Samson prayed to the Lord, “Sovereign Lord, remember me again. O God, please strengthen me just one more time. With one blow let me pay back the Philistines for the loss of my two eyes.” 29 Then Samson put his hands on the two center pillars that held up the temple. Pushing against them with both hands, 30 he prayed, “Let me die with the Philistines.” And the temple crashed down on the Philistine rulers and all the people. So he killed more people when he died than he had during his entire lifetime. (Judges 16: 21, 28-30)     WEEKLY ENGAGEMENT FEATURE:   As you ponder the moments described in Samson's and Zedekiah's lives, what lessons did the Lord bring to your mind?   Additional Resources and Scriptures:   2 But neither King Zedekiah nor his attendants nor the people who were left in the land listened to what the Lord said through Jeremiah. SHOW NOTES   In Podcast Episode 379, “Refusing to Humble Oneself,” Kim discusses the last king of Judah and some lessons listeners can learn from his bad choices. This is the first in a mini-series on the Fall of Jerusalem and the insights we can glean from what led to its consequences. Sadly, Zedekiah seemed like a fitting king to be on the throne as the last bits of the once God-fearing nation are taken into captivity for the evil lives they chose to live and the carnage they left in their wake.   Our focal passage for this episode is 2 Chronicles 36:11-16 and Jeremiah 37:1-10, with 2 Chronicles 36:12-13 and Jeremiah 37:2 and 37:17 as the focal verses:   12 But Zedekiah did what was evil in the sight of the Lord his God, and he refused to humble himself when the prophet Jeremiah spoke to him directly from the Lord. 13 He also rebelled against King Nebuchadnezzar, even though he had taken an oath of loyalty in God's name. Zedekiah was a hard and stubborn man, refusing to turn to the Lord, the God of Israel.   2 But neither King Zedekiah nor his attendants nor the people who were left in the land listened to what the Lord said through Jeremiah.   17 Later King Zedekiah secretly requested that Jeremiah come to the palace, where the king asked him, “Do you have any messages from the Lord?” “Yes, I do!” said Jeremiah. “You will be defeated by the king of Babylon.”     WEEKLY ENGAGEMENT FEATURE:   When you hear the phrase “refusing to humble oneself,” does anyone immediately come to your mind? SHOW NOTES   In Podcast Episode 378, “Stone Cold Response to the Word of the Lord,” Kim discusses the dangers of allowing our hearts to be hardened to God's Word. Recently, we examined the tender heart of King Josiah and how hearing God's Word changed him and how he led. This week, we see that his son Jehoiakim's heart was as hard as Josiah's was tender. How tender or hard is your heart to God's Word?   Our focal passage for this episode is Jeremiah 36:1-32, with 21-25 as the focal verses:   21 The king sent Jehudi to get the scroll. Jehudi brought it from Elishama's room and read it to the king as all his officials stood by. 22 It was late autumn, and the king was in a winterized part of the palace, sitting in front of a fire to keep warm. 23 Each time Jehudi finished reading three or four columns, the king took a knife and cut off that section of the scroll. He then threw it into the fire, section by section, until the whole scroll was burned up. 24 Neither the king nor his attendants showed any signs of fear or repentance at what they heard. 25 Even when Elnathan, Delaiah, and Gemariah begged the king not to burn the scroll, he wouldn't listen.     WEEKLY ENGAGEMENT FEATURE:   On a scale of 0-10, with 0 being very tender and 10 being stone cold, where does your heart stand regarding the Word of the Lord?   Additional Resources and Scriptures:   2 Kings 22 Jeremiah 36 26 And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. SHOW NOTES   In Podcast Episode 377, “God Can Speak in Unexpected Ways,” Kim discusses the dangers of Christ-followers trying to limit how the Lord can speak to them. We see that in today's scriptures as King Josiah refuses to believe God would be speaking through an enemy king, and it cost him his life. May our daily life theme be, “Speak, your servant is listening,” with no limits on the when or the how He can speak.   Our focal passage for this episode is 2 Chronicles 35:20-27, and with 22 as the focal verse:   22 But Josiah refused to listen to Neco, to whom God had indeed spoken, and he would not turn back. SHOW NOTES   In Podcast Episode 376, “When Kindness & Generosity Flow,” Kim discusses the natural flow of encouragement, kindness, and generosity we see in the celebration of the Passover described in today's scripture passage. Today, what automatically flows from your life?   Our focal passage for this episode is 2 Chronicles 35:1-19, and with 14-15 as the focal verses:   14 Afterward the Levites prepared Passover offerings for themselves and for the priests—the descendants of Aaron—because the priests had been busy from morning till night offering the burnt offerings and the fat portions. The Levites took responsibility for all these preparations. 15 The musicians, descendants of Asaph, were in their assigned places, following the commands that had been given by David, Asaph, Heman, and Jeduthun, the king's seer. The gatekeepers guarded the gates and did not need to leave their posts of duty, for their Passover offerings were prepared for them by their fellow Levites.     WEEKLY ENGAGEMENT FEATURE:   Pray Psalm 139:23-24 for yourself, asking the Lord to show you what naturally flows from your heart.   Additional Resources and Scriptures:   23 Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. 24 Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life. SHOW NOTES   In Podcast Episode 375, “Choosing to Respond to God's Word,” Kim discusses the importance of surrendering to the power of God's Word to change you. So many times, we approach God's Word without opening our hearts and minds to be changed by what we find there. May we learn from the example of King Josiah as he reacted to the initial reading of God's Word and then went on to publicly respond and challenge others to respond.   Our focal passage for this episode is 2 Chronicles 34:29-33, and with 30-31 as the focal verses:   30 And the king went up to the Temple of the Lord with all the people of Judah and Jerusalem, along with the priests and the Levites—all the people from the greatest to the least. There the king read to them the entire Book of the Covenant that had been found in the Lord's Temple. 31 The king took his place of authority beside the pillar and renewed the covenant in the Lord's presence. He pledged to obey the Lord by keeping all his commands, laws, and decrees with all his heart and soul. He promised to obey all the terms of the covenant that were written in the scroll.      WEEKLY ENGAGEMENT FEATURE:   Before approaching scripture, pray this simple prayer: “Please open my mind to understand the Scriptures.” (Ref. SPCC plans are one of the most common - and most misunderstood - regulatory requirements in the bulk fuel industry. While the plan itself may seem straightforward, proving compliance is where things get complicated. In this episode, we kick off a new SPCC Basics series by breaking down one of the biggest pain points for facility operators: recordkeeping. From routine inspections to “as-needed” documentation, understanding what needs to be recorded - and when - is critical to staying compliant. We walk through how recordkeeping is typically structured by frequency (daily, monthly, annual), where facilities commonly miss the mark, and why simply having a checklist isn't always enough. We also cover the often-overlooked records that don't fall neatly into a form but are still expected during an audit. If you're responsible for implementing an SPCC plan, this episode will help you better understand your role, reduce uncertainty, and avoid getting caught off guard when it's time to prove compliance.

SHOW NOTES   In Podcast Episode 373, “God's Word Transforms,” Kim discusses the biblical story about the time God's Word was “found.” The Word that was to be their guide for daily life had been relegated to a hidden spot in the Temple, and due to King Josiah's restoration orders, the missing Book of the Law resurfaced. Kim shares how this same issue can happen in our lives today and encourages listeners to never let that happen.   Our focal passage for this episode is 2 Chronicles 34:14-21, and with 19 as the focal verse:   19 When the king heard what was written in the Law, he tore his clothes in despair.      WEEKLY ENGAGEMENT FEATURE:   When was the last time God's Word brought you to tears?   Additional Resources and Scriptures:   12 For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires. (Hebrews 4:12) 16 All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. 17 God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work. 2026 Show Notes Addendum:    To round out our second (and final) visit to the realm of backwards VGM (and very closely related non-VGM) on Nerd Noise Radio, let's replay the 2020 original series, which was also a two-parter, but instead of being two "equal billing" parts, it was a one part "episode proper" and then a supplemental Ch F "F-isode" bonus. In addition to being one of my all-time favorite projects to work on in show history, the series also marked an important turning point in show history as the first installment was our last ever NNR broadcast on the main feed to be produced in GarageBand on MacOS (except for the deliberate call-back that was C1E75 in 2023), and the F-isode was my first ever production in Audacity and Ardour in Linux (then Ubuntu Studio (KDE), now, Fedora (GNOME)). Original Show Notes below are largely faithful to the original with one MASSIVE exception: the tracklist is now populated with all the relevant track info, where it was originally withheld to keep the mystery and mystique alive.   ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Original Show Notes (modified to show track names on 04/20/2026):   ------------------------------------------------------------------------   You are tuned to Nerd Noise Radio – Channel F. Today's “F-isode” is significant not only for being only the second F-isode we've had in over a year, when they used to be quite a bit more common, but is also significant for being the first ever production of Nerd Noise Radio of any type to be produced entirely on Linux. Historically, the show has been produced on Mac. With a small backlog of previously-produced, but not-yet-released music blocks that were, of course, produced on the Mac still in reserve for future episodes, it will be some time yet before the Mac presence fades from the show completely. But it is my hope to do the lion's share of future all-new production on Linux moving forward. So, the shift will be a glide, rather than a snap. But that shift starts...here.    Longtime listeners of the show will know full well what a Channel F F-isode is, but a pair of really beautiful things happened early this month which will have brought new attention to the show, from faces as near and dear as my fellow Des Moinesers (and surrounding communities), to as far-flung as Linux fans all the world over. For an explanation of what Channel F is, and how it relates to Nerd Noise Radio as a whole for the newcomers, as well as the details of who and what the new faces are, and how all that came about, see below. Also, for a descripton of how this F-isode relates to our April Fool's episode, “Backtracks”, see the blog....or just sit, back, relax, and enjoy, as you listen to.....”The OTHER 50”!     Timestamps provided, but track details withheld for now in case anyone wanted to play the guessing game on the tracks. A follow-up blog post on April 30th will provide the entire track list information for both Backtracks and for today's outing. So, be on the lookout for that.    In the meantime, enjoy!    Tracklist (ALL TRACKS ARE PLAYED IN REVERSE - except Intro)! The mini-article appears in the April Issue of the magazine which can be viewed online (Link below). In addition to that, Jason Evangelho, a tech-writer for Forbes Magazine who focuses on Linux very generously boosted my tweets about my first production in Linux, which went on to become the most liked and retweeted tweet in my history on the platform. I make it a point to look at “the numbers” as little as possible, so I don't know how many (if any) of the new faces stuck around. But certainly a number of them at least had a peek. If you are a new face, either brought to the show through the Cityview article, or through Jason's buff of my tweet, get a hold of me to let me know you're here!     Presuming we did have at least a few stick around, I should give an explanation of what Channel F is, relative to Channel 1, and Archive Super Bonuses, so you know how this show works. I will do so at length on the blogspot version of this episode, where the blog format is more accommodating of lengthiness. But I will give you a brief overview here:     Channel 1: This is “the show proper”. These are “the actual episodes”. On average, 10 fresh episodes a year (with reruns to fill in the blanks). Other than extraordinary circumstances, they follow a standard “enhanced mixtape” format: a short, semi-standard intro, and standard housekeeping outro bookending a winding, twisting journey through sound. We have had quite the spate of non-standard “Channel 1” Episodes of late though, so for the newcomers, I wanted to stress what “normal” looks like. We don't anticipate having anything else non-standard for several months moving forward.    Channel F: This is my side-outlet for bonuses, betas, extras. It can be virtually anything. And additional mixtape music block (like today), but has been all sorts of things. We even had one that was an exposition on a certain episode's outro. Anything that doesn't fit in Channel 1, but that I still want to have full attention (podcast feed, blog, social media, Archive.org, etc) becomes a Channel F “F-isode”.    Super Bonuses: These are for the times where I have something that I felt was worth producing, and felt was worth putting out there, but did not want to clog up the podcast feed, or the blog, or social media with. Generally, it takes the form of remixes and twists on existing content. Since they only come out on Archive, and not anywhere else, and since they're not really advertised, this creates a nice “underground” quality to them. I usually drop hints inside Episodes and F-isodes if there are any Super Bonuses planned. But beyond that, a person just needs to know to be on the lookout. They will release even less consistently than F-isodes, but will also tend to be in bursts around certain episodes that are rich for alternate twists on their content.    See the blogspot version of this episode if you'd like to know more about these. Link below. Meanwhile, our next all-new episode is planned for August, though I do have some really great reruns lined up for the months between. Even those will still constitute much more of a “return to normalcy” for the show than what our past several months of fresh content offers, so a great chance to “get to know us” I hope you will enjoy! We also have a secondary podcast feed which is dedicated entirely to reruns, which will feature reruns different than the ones on the main feed, if you wish to explore even more Nerd Noise Radio history. It can be found on your podcatcher of choice by the name “Nerd Noise Radio Reruns”.    Cheers!    Link to the Cityview Article:    http://dmcityview.com/CityviewApril2020/html5/index.html?page=1&noflash (page 50)    You can find previous articles by Jeff by searching www.dmcityview.com or as compiled on Muck Rack:    https://muckrack.com/jeff-pitts/articles    Link to Jason Evangelho's Forbes articles  (@killyourfm on Twitter)    https://www.forbes.com/sites/jasonevangelho/#18ee68a0d36f    Link to Blogspot version of today's “F-isode” (for the long version the Channels descriptions, etc.)    https://nerdnoiseradio.blogspot.com/2020/04/channel-f-backtracks-other-50.html

SHOW NOTES   In Podcast Episode 372, “Never Discount the Impact of Your Talents,” Kim discusses the talents each of us have been given and our accountability to use them all to the glory of the Lord. In today's lesson, Kim uses the focal text, as well as other scriptures, to remind listeners that ALL talents are important and each of our talents should be dedicated to the Lord.   Our focal passage for this episode is 2 Chronicles 34:10-13, and with 11-13 as the focal verses:   11 They hired carpenters and builders, who purchased finished stone for the walls and timber for the rafters and beams. They restored what earlier kings of Judah had allowed to fall into ruin. 12 The workers served faithfully under the leadership of Jahath and Obadiah, Levites of the Merarite clan, and Zechariah and Meshullam, Levites of the Kohathite clan. Other Levites, all of whom were skilled musicians, 13 were put in charge of the laborers of the various trades. Still others assisted as secretaries, officials, and gatekeepers.     WEEKLY ENGAGEMENT FEATURE:   Which talent have you been neglecting or do you need to dedicate to the Lord?   Additional Resources and Scriptures:   1 Corinthians 12:12-31 Matthew 25:14-30 23 Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people. Lastly: in case anyone is wondering what on earth is happening in the outro: I figured since it would be backwards, and nobody would ever hear it forward unless they either took the initiative to reverse the file themselves, or else find the [quote] "UNBACKED" version on Archive.org, they'd never know what on earth was being said, I decided to forego the standard outro script, and just go nuts. I read a chocolate chip cookie recipe I found online on the spot, and included snippets from every previous episode blooper reel in show history to that point as well as various other sound clips, such as slow-mo vids of my kids, and fresh snippets provided by my brother-in-law Brian Peterson. Anyway, that's what's happening in the outro. I wanted it to be as preposterous and baffling and chaotic as possible!   ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Original Show Notes (modified to show track names on 04/20/2026):   ------------------------------------------------------------------------   Today's broadcast is C1E52 for Wayback Wednesday, April 1st, 2020. It's April 1st, dear listeners, and we haven't had a retrospective in AGES! SHOW NOTES   In Podcast Episode 371, “When Did You Begin to Seek God?” Kim discusses the timeline of young King Josiah's spiritual life and growth. As we examine the early years of the king's reign, Kim challenges listeners to reflect on their own spiritual timelines.   Our focal passage for this episode is 2 Chronicles 34:1-9, and with 3 as the focal verse:   During the eighth year of his reign, while he was still young, Josiah began to seek the God of his ancestor David. Then in the twelfth year he began to purify Judah and Jerusalem, destroying all the pagan shrines, the Asherah poles, and the carved idols and cast images.     WEEKLY ENGAGEMENT FEATURE:   If you were to draw a timeline of your spiritual walk, where would the progress points be?   Additional Resources and Scriptures:   EMAIL — encouragingothersinlovingjesus@gmail.com Facebook Group - https://www.facebook.com/groups/encouragingothersinlovingjesus X - https://x.com/eoinlovingjesus?s=21&t=YcRjZQUpvP7FrJmm7Pe1hg INSTAGRAM -  https://www.instagram.com/encouragingothersinlovingjesus/ “Encouraging Others in Loving Jesus” YouTube Channel: Check it out at https://www.youtube.com/@EncouragingOthersInLovingJesus   I WANT TO BEGIN A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS CHRIST.   RESOURCES USED FOR BOOK OF 1 & 2 Kings (1 & 2 Chronicles) PODCASTS: “The Wiersbe Bible Commentary: The Complete Old Testament OT in One Volume” “Christ-Centered Exposition: Exalting Jesus in 1 & 2 Kings” by Tony Merida “The Tony Evans Bible Commentary: Advancing God's Kingdom Agenda” “Life Application Study Bible” “The Swindoll Study Bible: NLT” by Charles R. SHOW NOTES   In Podcast Episode 370, “We Can't Determine What Another Imitates,” Kim discusses the importance of choosing our actions and attitudes wisely. Others are watching our lives and may be imitating our attitudes and actions. If that is so, what would you want them to imitate, and what would you prefer they ignore? In today's story, King Amon followed the example of his father, King Manasseh, in every area, except for the one that counted most — humbling himself before the Lord.   Our focal passage for this episode is 2 Kings 21:19-26 and 2 Chronicles 33:21-25 , and with 2 Kings 21:21-22 and 2 Chronicles 33:22-23 as the focal verses:   21 He followed the example of his father, worshiping the same idols his father had worshiped. 22 He abandoned the Lord, the God of his ancestors, and he refused to follow the Lord's ways.   22 He did what was evil in the Lord's sight, just as his father, Manasseh, had done. He worshiped and sacrificed to all the idols his father had made. 23 But unlike his father, he did not humble himself before the Lord. Instead, Amon sinned even more.     WEEKLY ENGAGEMENT FEATURE:   What habit(s) would you not want someone else to imitate?   Additional Resources and Scriptures:   “The Ultimate Gift” “Watching You” by Rodney Atkins EMAIL — encouragingothersinlovingjesus@gmail.com Facebook Group - https://www.facebook.com/groups/encouragingothersinlovingjesus X - https://x.com/eoinlovingjesus?s=21&t=YcRjZQUpvP7FrJmm7Pe1hg INSTAGRAM -  https://www.instagram.com/encouragingothersinlovingjesus/ “Encouraging Others in Loving Jesus” YouTube Channel: Check it out at https://www.youtube.com/@EncouragingOthersInLovingJesus   I WANT TO BEGIN A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS CHRIST. Ever feel confident you're following the rules… only to find out the rules changed? In this episode of Tank Talk, Shannon and Haley talk about one of the most common compliance pitfalls in environmental operations: regulations evolving quietly in the background while day-to-day operations keep moving. Just like driving down a familiar road where the speed limit suddenly changed, facilities can unknowingly fall out of compliance when regulations are updated after a plan, permit, or audit was completed. We're seeing this happen more and more in air and water regulations, where updates can occur on unpredictable timelines. A report that confirmed compliance a few years ago may no longer reflect the current regulatory landscape. So how do operators avoid getting blindsided? Shannon shares seven practical strategies that facility managers and environmental professionals can use to stay ahead of regulatory changes. The conversation also covers what happens when regulations change, how transition periods typically work, and what to do if you discover you're already past a compliance deadline. If you manage fuel facilities, environmental programs, or regulatory plans, this episode offers practical steps to help ensure your compliance program doesn't quietly expire in the background. We've included a resource list with helpful agency webpages, industry groups, and notification lists that can help you stay informed when regulations change. Remember: compliance is a point in time — and it can change without warning.Download the guide: 7 Ways To Stay Ahead of Regulatory Changes — Integrity EnvironmentalSupport the showintro/outro created with GarageBand

SHOW NOTES   In Podcast Episode 369, “For All Who Think They Are Too Far Gone,” Kim discusses King Manasseh and the miraculous turn his life took. He went from leading others down one of the darkest paths imaginable to humbly surrendering to the Lord. If Manasseh, with his massive list of sinful behavior, could hear the Lord speak and turn to Him, you are not too far gone.   Our focal passage for this episode is 2 Chronicles 33:1-20, and with 12-13 as the focal verses:   12 But while in deep distress, Manasseh sought the Lord his God and sincerely humbled himself before the God of his ancestors. 13 And when he prayed, the Lord listened to him and was moved by his request. So the Lord brought Manasseh back to Jerusalem and to his kingdom. Then Manasseh finally realized that the Lord alone is God!     WEEKLY ENGAGEMENT FEATURE:   Ask the Lord to lay on your heart someone you can lift in prayer who feels he/she is too far gone.   Additional Resources and Scriptures:   13 If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me. SHOW NOTES   In Podcast Episode 368, “Getting More Is Not Always a Good Thing,” Kim discusses the deeply dark period of time in the Southern Kingdom of Judah during the reign of King Manasseh. To go from the God-honoring reign of Hezekiah to the long, evil reign of his son Manasseh must have been a bit of cultural whiplash. Sadly, the reforms Hezekiah had made did not withstand his son's persistently idol-focused agenda. And yet, there are millions of Christ-followers across our world today living under similar or even darker spiritual conditions.   Our focal passage for this episode is 2 Kings 21:1-18, and with 9 as the focal verse:   9 But the people refused to listen, and Manasseh led them to do even more evil than the pagan nations that the Lord had destroyed when the people of Israel entered the land.     WEEKLY ENGAGEMENT FEATURE:   Pause and pray for your persecuted brothers and sisters across the world.   Additional Resources and Scriptures:   For information about Secret Church How to Pray for the Persecuted Church by Evangeline Vergo EMAIL — encouragingothersinlovingjesus@gmail.com Facebook Group - https://www.facebook.com/groups/encouragingothersinlovingjesus X - https://x.com/eoinlovingjesus?s=21&t=YcRjZQUpvP7FrJmm7Pe1hg INSTAGRAM -  https://www.instagram.com/encouragingothersinlovingjesus/ “Encouraging Others in Loving Jesus” YouTube Channel: Check it out at https://www.youtube.com/@EncouragingOthersInLovingJesus   I WANT TO BEGIN A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS CHRIST.
