From Toastmasters-style public speaking to Apple-powered media literacy, JOSHWAY isn't just meeting kids where they are—it's helping them lead. Naaman, the commander of the Aramean army, was not pleased with how God's prophet Elisha addressed his request to be healed. He thought it would be handled a certain way, and when it wasn't, he was angry. Why would the Lord have judged the youths in the manner He did? Sasami is a singer, songwriter and producer who grew up in Los Angeles. But now she's based in Northern California, and as you'll hear in this episode, that's significant. Sasami went to school for classical French horn. She was in the band Cherry Glazerr, and she's had a lot of collaborations with other artists on their projects and her own. Collaboration is at the heart of the song that I talked to her about for this episode. It's called “In Love With A Memory,” and it features Clairo on vocals, and it was co-produced with Grammy-winning producer Rostam. The song is on Sasami's third album, Blood on the Silver Screen, which is out March 2025. Coming up, you'll hear the original voice memos that she recorded for this song back in the fall of 2022. Roland was born on the 01/06/1930 to a German Lutheran family and his life took a turn towards the dark when his play buddy aunt Harriet passed away. Harriet had allegedly introduced Roland to the occult and early in 1949 strange things begun manifesting through Roland. We are taking unexplained scratches, flying items, moving beds - the works. This case has been documented in the diary of a priest - holy evidence! Fortunately, many holy folk were on hand to held the family and a great battle may have ensued. Was it a one demon possession? Ten demons? A case of difficult mental health? All of the above? Roswell? These events went on to inspire famous book and movie The Exorcist. NO SOAP RADIO -- Suspense: The Whole Town's Sleeping Our 6th NO SOAP RADIO production, created in September, 2023. This is a recreation of the 1955 Suspense program - "The Whole Town's Sleeping". In this show our production values took a leap forward. This was our first time incorporating a green screen into the video production, allowing us to place our performers into our own graphic backgrounds and simultaneously remove all microphones from the shot.  This show was produced, directed and edited by Paul Kovit. Paul also recreated many of the original music cues in GarageBand using instrument samples from the app. These cues were surreptitiously blended with some of the original cues. Also, Larry Groebe of Project Audion provided a bunch of foley work for this production. We hope you like the end result.
