Join Alex Tapscott as he decodes the world of crypto with special guest Anthony Bassili, President of Coinbase Asset Management. Listen in as they discuss how digital assets have crossed the threshold into a true institutional asset class, why the conversation has shifted from if institutions adopt crypto to how, and how Coinbase is positioning itself at the center of this transition. They explore the role of Bitcoin as a macro asset, how institutions are thinking about portfolio construction and diversification, and why market structure upgrades—not just price—are driving adoption. The conversation also dives into tokenization as the next evolution of ETFs, the rise of onchain credit and stablecoin yield strategies like CUSHY, and how the future of asset management may converge across traditional finance, crypto, and even AI-driven investing.
Have you noticed how often people online talk about wanting a “cushy job,” a “lazy girl job,” or a role where they can basically get paid to do as little as possible? In this episode, Audrey and I are talking about why that mindset might seem appealing on the surface, but can quietly hurt your character, your career, and your relationship with God over time. Now to be clear, this is not about glorifying hustle or saying you need to be overworked to be valuable. Sometimes you really do need a healthier, less stressful job. But there's a big difference between needing rest and building a work life around doing the bare minimum. We talk about where this trend is coming from, why so many people feel drawn to it, and how to think about work in a way that is both honest and biblical. We discuss:What people mean when they say wanting to have a “cushy” jobWhy bare minimum work culture can hurt you long-termHow “act your wage” thinking can shape your habitsWhat integrity at work looks like as a ChristianPractical ways to reset if you've started coasting at workIf you've been feeling tired, disillusioned, or tempted to check out at work, I hope this episode gives you a more grounded and God-honoring way to think about your job, your habits, and your calling.Cheering you on,Kelsey Kemp & Audrey BagarusBOOK A FREE CALL WITH US THIS WEEK:https://portal.kelseykemp.com/public/appointment-scheduler/6222458612c06afee1de0032/scheduleFREE CAREER COACHING RESOURCES:Free Training: How to Find and Land a Job You Feel Called to in 8 Straightforward Steps → https://thecalledcareer.com/our-processMore of a reader? Convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell may be serving a 20-year sentence — but according to a federal whistleblower and a new congressional letter, she's living more like a guest than an inmate. House Democrats led by Rep. Jamie Raskin are demanding answers from the Department of Justice after explosive allegations surfaced that Maxwell is receiving VIP treatment at Federal Prison Camp Bryan in Texas. Reports claim she's enjoying custom-delivered meals, after-hours private workouts, unmonitored computer access, and even direct help from the warden in preparing a sentence-commutation request to former President Donald Trump. Maxwell — who helped Jeffrey Epstein run his international sex-trafficking operation — was convicted in 2021 and transferred to the minimum-security Texas camp despite her sex-offender status. The whistleblower alleges her transfer followed a private interview with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, formerly Trump's attorney, raising questions about political influence, favoritism, and potential misuse of federal authority. In this episode, Tony Brueski exposes what's in the congressional letter, what the DOJ is being asked to explain, and why this could signal one of the most disturbing breakdowns in accountability yet. Is the justice system bending once again for the powerful? Has Ghislaine Maxwell found a way to turn her secrets into leverage? And what does this say about the ongoing rot inside the system that let Epstein operate for decades? All the facts, all the outrage — only on Hidden Killers. #HiddenKillers #GhislaineMaxwell #Epstein #Trump #FederalPrison #JamieRaskin #DOJ #TrueCrime #Whistleblower #TonyBrueski Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? You know how, after they retire, some older guys go out and get, like, part-time jobs at the United Way or Ace Hardware or some shit? Not necessarily because they need the money — they just need to keep themselves busy, and maybe they like talking to people about paint colors and nail sizes and the best brands of epoxy spackle. Is that what Dana White is doing with boxing? Dana was at the big boxing match on Saturday, sitting at ringside next to Turki Alalshikh and Mark Wahlberg. After Terence Crawford whooped up on Canelo Alvarez, Dana wrapped the Ring Magazine belt around Crawford's waist. Aside from that, we're not totally sure what his job was there. So, as TKO reportedly plots its takeover of the sweet science, is Dana effectively using boxing like some guys join the country club? Does he want to fade out of the UFC, kick back and spend a few hours a day destroying the Muhammad Ali Act and looking for young, white, Irish fighters to promote? Cuz those are the vibes. Meanwhile, at Dana's real job, they put on an event the same night, where Diego Lopes knocked all kinds of blood out of Jean Silva's head during UFC Noche. Learn more about your ad choices. If you have a high arched foot that is prone to getting stress fractures, a podiatrist may have told you that you need cushy running shoes. I got a question from someone who was given that advice. She said, “I am so confused, I thought stress fractures were from pounding. I got a stress fracture, and my doc said it was my cushy shoes. I do not understand how this is true.” How do cushy running shoes cause stress fractures in the foot? Well, that is a great question and that is what we're talking about today on the Doc On The Run Podcast.

In Matt Irby's own words:When the pandemic hit, I was working a corporate job in Seattle and was given the opportunity to work from home and live where I pleased. My first thought? Palm Springs! I moved here in late 2020, made a great group of friends and started doing "game nights" every week. As game nights went on and the group got larger, it became a true source of happiness and connection in an otherwise chaotic work life I had. Then it hit me! If I could feel this great connecting with new and old friends playing games, aren't there others out there wanting the same thing? I was sitting at my desk in another corporate drone meeting, and it came to me: “Play”. I wanted a cool hangout spot that I could go to and meet new people that centered around games. Then more came to my mind... why not extend it and have a café in the morning where people can work from and grab some food throughout the day, then flip it to a lounge in the evening with fun board games, outdoor games, pool tables, darts, etc. with a different selection of beer and wine? Play was officially born and opened in September 2023.I love sharing my passion with you and making a lot of new friends along the way! See you at Play! Human rights and the rule-of-law received rare scrutiny in a well-conducted first debate. Awkward moments occurred for Prabowo Subianto, but new polling shows him very well cushioned. Also discussed: a bill to end Jakarta governor elections, with bewilderingly broad support; and ministers narrowly avert (for now) a broad-backed effort to boost Anwar Usman and perhaps restore him as Constitutional Court chief justice. And in memoriam: the passing of Southeast Asia's longest-serving foreign correspondent, John McBeth, dearly departed at age 79.Get our special episode on the 4th Presidential Debate on:https://www.buymeacoffee.com/reformasi/extrasSupport us on buymeacoffee.com/reformasi
