However, this development is currently limited to vehicles autonomously navigating within the factory premises.Tesla released a video showing cars driving themselves from the production line to loading docks without human intervention. This internal application covers a 1.2-mile route on private factory roads at low speeds.Musk has previously set ambitious timelines for unsupervised self-driving, including a driverless cross-country trip by 2018, which have not been met.The current implementation is a step forward but remains far from the full autonomous driving capabilities promised to consumers.Musk's latest projection targets unsupervised self-driving in California and Texas by the second quarter of 2025.CVS is piloting a new feature in its app that allows customers to unlock anti-theft cabinets themselves, aiming to enhance the shopping experience. The feature is currently being tested in three New York City stores. To use it, customers must be logged into the CVS app, connected to the store's Wi-Fi, and have Bluetooth enabled. This initiative addresses customer frustration with locked cabinets, which, while deterring theft, often inconvenience shoppers.CVS plans to expand the test to 10 to 15 additional stores, including locations on the West Coast."People really, really dislike locked cabinets," said Tilak Mandadi, executive vice president at CVS Health.Hosts: Paul J Daly and Kyle MountsierGet the Daily Push Back email at https://www.asotu.com/ JOIN the conversation on LinkedIn at: https://www.linkedin.com/company/asotu/ Read our most recent email at: https://www.asotu.com/media/push-back-email

Over the years I have had the incredible pleasure of emceeing the Embassy Chef Challenge, and with that came the ability to chat with embassy chefs, ambassadors, their families, and attache's. You may remember during the last round, I went to several of the embassies and cooked with their chefs. Oh my goodness it was so much fun, I learned so much, and it gave me the opportunity to share their histories, culture, and of course, cuisine! If you don't know, Events DC's Embassy Chef Challenge is a gathering of embassy chefs from around the world, showcasing the flavors of their home countries in this delicious culinary competition. And the chefs take it seriously! This experience is so DC … in fact DC is truly the only place in the country where an event like this can be executed with such dramatic flair! Mark your calendars for March 7th! Now… where am I? I'm in the Cuban Embassy. Isn't that amazing? For so long this gorgeous building was not utilized or accessible because of the relations between our two countries. But in 2015 that all changed — I mean isn't this what it is all about? Maintaining diplomatic relations with others? Now, I understand that there is a Hemingway bar in here — so you know we are going to get all into it. AND, I am so delighted to reestablish my relations with Jinhee Kim - Chief Creative Officer for Events DC - and create a new relationship with David Ramírez - Cultural Attache for the Embassy of Cuba. So, normally at this part of the show I take you on my culinary tour of where I have been eating this past week — and your girl has been out, so I'm not going to get all into it — because I have some very special guests sitting here with me — But just a quick list! -The New La Bonne Vache in Gtown — get on line! -The New Aventino in Bethesda — make your rez now -Cork celebrated their sweet 16 -Gravitas & Kappo did a collab dinner -The Emperor's birthday at the Japanese Embassy See that fits — Tuesday I'm at the Japanese Embassy and today, I'm here at the Cuban Embassy. Quotes "Help amplify the message you all want to convey, utilizing shared experiences rather than transactions."- Jinhee Kim "Our primary objective is to focus on increased engagement and diplomatic ties through cultural connections and bridges."- David Ramírez "Culinary diplomacy is at the core of embassy practices, where food, art, and music act as universal languages."- Jinhee Kim Chapters 00:00 - Introduction 00:37 - Embassies Exhibit Culture and Cuisine in Washington, DC 04:00 - Insights from Cuban Embassy's Cultural Attaché 09:22 - Cultural Engagement's Role in Diplomatic Relations 12:44 - Inquiry on Architectural Elegance Sparks Enthusiasm 13:10 - Diplomatic Shifts: Repurposing of the Cuban Embassy Building 15:21 - Former Apple Executive Leads DC's Event Scene 18:20 - Embassy Chef Challenge: Uniting Food, Culture, and Pride 21:13 - Bridging DC's International Community Beyond Language Barriers 24:21 - Rome's Enduring Historical Connections with Cuba 28:08 - Dynamic Embassy Events Fuel Engagement in DC 30:36 - Exploring Cultural Heritage Across City Neighborhoods 34:32 - Conclusion Guests Social Media Links: Jinhee Kim and David Ramirez Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/embacubaus/ Website: https://misiones.cubaminrex.cu/es/eeuu/ Featuring Nycci Nellis https://www.instagram.com/nyccinellis/ https://www.thelistareyouonit.com/ Produced by Heartcast Media http://www.heartcastmedia.com

After a long successful career leading Fortune 500 companies and technology startups to IPO, Davis founded Beli in 2018 with a personal mission to address the growing crisis of infertility and modernize the stagnant prenatal vitamin market. The fertility market is a $24B market, and yet prenatal vitamins still haven't caught up with modern nutritional science. 50% of all infertility can be traced to male infertility and nutrition plays a major role in successful pregnancy outcomes and science led Beli to look deeper at how nutrition plays a vital role in sperm health, launching the first modern male prenatal in 2019. Michelle talks with Joni about why men taking prenatals are just as important for men for a healthy pregnancy. He has developed advanced skills and a level of expertise that few surgeons doing liposuction can master. Dr. Su is the innovator of the Interactive Lipo Method and Celebrity Arms Sculpting. The Interactive Lipo Method is a culmination of techniques derived from Dr. Su's background as a figure artist and sculptor.Cardiovascular disease is one of the biggest public health crises of our time and remains a leading public health challenge in the US and globally.1 In fact, someone in the US has a heart attack approximately every 40 seconds. Having a high low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol number – the “bad” cholesterol – can raise your risk of heart attack and stroke. Too much LDL cholesterol can lead to a buildup of fatty deposits, or plaques, inside your arteries. These plaques can narrow arteries and reduce blood flow. If a piece of the plaque breaks free, it might travel into the bloodstream and block a blood vessel to the heart or brain, causing a heart attack or stroke. For people who have had a heart attack or stroke, knowing the connection between high cholesterol and the risk of having another cardiovascular event is vital because taking steps to aim for and maintain a low LDL cholesterol level can reduce their risk of future events. Dr. Eduardo Sanchez serves as Chief Medical Officer (CMO) for Prevention for the American Heart Association. Lorraine Martin, President and CEO, National Safety Council joins Michelle to talk about what can be done to intervene in the workplace when there's been an overdose. Overdoses have emerged as the leading cause of unintentional death in the United States, with opioids involved in a staggering 77% of these incidents. Overdoses can happen anywhere, including the workplace – and the numbers are alarming: workplace overdoses, often linked to opioid misuse, have surged by an astonishing 536% since 2011, cutting across all worker demographics, industries and occupations. At the National Safety Council (NSC), the mission is clear: to save lives from the workplace to anyplace. To fulfill this mission, the Council recently launched the Respond Ready Workplace initiative that focuses on three critical aspects: overdose and naloxone awareness, access and adoption. The Capital City Africa Week Festival and Ghana Week DC, a first-time series of events devoted to the celebration of Ghanaian art, culture, business, tourism, sports and more, is taking place October 9-14, 2023 in Washington, D.C. The Work in Sports Podcast - Insider Advice for Sports Careers
Baltimore Ravens Manager of Advertising and Branding Deandra Duggans joins the show to discuss why she got into sports marketing, the challenge of creating unique visions and how to Ravens marketing mirrors the team and the community at large. Hi everybody I'm Brian Clapp Director of Content for WorkinSports.com and this is the work in sports podcast… A fan of the show said too me recently, I know you focus primarily on jobs in sports marketing and sales, but maybe you'd consider interviewing this person I know on the legal side of sports. Her suggestion was a good one, and I'm already connecting with her person and getting them on the show. But I was taken aback a bit. Have I been leaning too much into jobs in sports marketing and sales? I'm trying to be as diverse as I can – in jobs, in genders, in race – but maybe I have fallen into a pattern. You can tell I'm kind of a paranoid person. Anyway I went back and categorized our expert interviews and it breaks down like this: Broadcasting/Sports Media: 4 Public Relations: 4 Professor: 4 Team operations: 3 Sports marketing: 3 Sales: 2 HR/recruiter: 2 Community Relations: 2 College Athletics: 2 Digital Content/Social media: 2 Athlete: 1 Student: 1 Coaching: 1 Security: 1 Mascot: 1 This made me feel a little better, our content and our guests are balanced. If I noticed any blind spot on my part it's that only 9 out of our 33 guests have been women. That's just 28% and that's not really indicative of what is happening in the sports industry at large. There are more women than ever in power roles in sports – Athletic Directors like Sandy Barbour at Penn State, Michelle Roberts the executive director of the NBA players association, Dawn Hudson the CMO of the NFL – the list goes on. And that brings us to today's guest – and up and comer in the world of sports marketing Deandra Duggans is the manager of Advertising and Branding with the Baltimore Ravens and shares some incredible career advice during our interview. She's not just a woman in the sports industry, she's one of the brightest minds in the business of sports. Question for Baltimore Ravens Deandra Duggans 1: On this podcast when I talk about sports marketing I get a lot of buzz – people love the idea of working in marketing for a sports team – but marketing is a pretty broad term, there are many roles within the marketing department. You've been with the Ravens for a little over two years now, tell us a little more about the specifics of your role with the team. 2: Prior to the Ravens you worked as a Marketing Manager for Events DC in the sports and entertainment division – how different was it working on the individual event side of marketing vs. a huge globally recognized organization like the Ravens? 3: When I worked at Fox Sports Northwest, we had a mission statement posted on the front wall as you entered the office, it was basically our call to action, our mission and our brand identity all wrapped into one. How would you articulate the brand vision of the Ravens – who are you striving to be and how do you want to be represented in the public eye? 4: We hear all the time about how coaches, right after a win, don't take any time to celebrate it's right onto the next game. Is it the same way in marketing – you come up with a great idea, execute on it…and them just have to move along to the next idea? 5: We have a private Facebook group and before every interview I ask that group what questions they have for our guest – you blew up the feed, lots of people had questions to ask. We'll start with Kirsten Nelson, because her question pivots perfectly off of what we were just talking about… basically, Kirsten wants to know… how do you keep coming up with new fresh ideas and campaigns? 6: My guy James Price was very excited to hear from you, he has his eyes on getting into sports marketing at the pro level,
