Questions we answered in this episode: What is up my friends?!, I have been playing disc golf a ton for the past two years, throwing the best plastic in the world made by Lat 64. I am finally feeling like I am ready to play my first tournament, and there is an amateur match play bracket near me, I know this is different than a normal tournament, however, I really would love to try it out. What do you guys think about doing an am match play bracket as my first tournament? Thank you for making my Tuesdays so much fun, and all the other days. Proud to throw the best discs in the world. Keep it real, and keep it groovy homies I currently max out my drives at about 300 ft. And my goal is to eventually be able to hit 400. I have been trying to find as much time as possible to work on my form and field practice. I have not seen much improvement at the rate I am going which is about  an hour 2 days a week. Am I practicing too few and too far between you make much progress? how much time for a week would I need to dedicate to fieldwork start seeing some improvement? Do you think, as the current pros we know and love and support, grow older that there might be an increase in the interest of Masters 40 and above coverage in the future of the sport? Hey DGAM Fam, not sure about the ruling on this. I was playing on a card where a players throw went down into a cluster of bushes and couldn’t be found. The player went to throw from his last lie while we kept looking. We found his disc but it was after he threw his shot from the previous lie. My card mates said he could throw from his lost disc without penalty because he hasn’t thrown his next shot. Is this the correct ruling? My million dollar question has to deal with power and accuracy. I can not grasp the concept of throwing with power and being accurate. It seems that if I want to be accurate with my throw, I have to cut down my strength by 50%. Are there any tips or exercises that you recommend in order to be accurate and throw with full strength? Also I can’t throw far in general. I probably get around 200-250ft. Still working on that. I recently played in a tournament round that was very much a tail of two halves. My first 9 holes felt fantastic and everything was firing on all cylinders. On hole 10, there was about a 30 minute back up. After this, my back 9 holes were awful. I started missing simple shots that I normally make, and could not catch a break to save my life. The main reasons I can think of are that I was tired from sitting around and no longer had the adrenaline or mental momentum that I had on the front half of the course. How do you guys suggest to prevent this from happening? I am a Third-year player (MA50/MA2) and a local business wants to cover my tourney fees, so the question is, if the local business (Crafty Ales and Lagers---best beer around) pays my entry fees, do I still have Amateur status? when approaching a shot that requires the disc to finish to the right(I am a right handed player) what makes the decision between throwing a forehand vs a backhand anhyzer? Hey Slick Breeze, McHair, McTruth, thanks for all you do.  Just wondering if the GBO is going to consider following the pro tour model of having the FPO tee off after MPO this year? Thoughts? P.S. lucidX wardens are absolutely perfect!

Can we play in both Singles and Doubles for Match Play? When will Doubles/Women’s Doubles registration open? Hey Guys! Robert, you ask a question to every player you interview that I am interested in hearing your answer (and Bobby and Eric and whoever else maybe visiting). When it comes to your mental game what do you do well? HEY DGAM FAM, when you say a disc is "beat In" does that mean it begins to fly the opposite of how it flies out of the box or do all discs break in the same direction of stability? meaning does an under-stable disc ( like a maverick) beat in to be more stable/ over-stable and over-stable discs (like a bard) beat in to be more stable/under-stable? if that is the case how do stable discs (like a convict) beat in? finally to wrap it up when people say "this disc is becoming very flippy"  can you explain exactly what that means? In a doubles format, your teammate has already played from where the disc landed without placing a mini. Can you then place a mini on the lie and pick up the disc for your shot? Thanks for answering my previous question about disc limits and pay to play.  I have a different question today about putting grip.  I have always used a fan grip for putting, but have noticed that further from the basket, near circles edge, I tend to loose grip and the disc moves in my hand.   Looking at Roberts putting tips on physics of flight, I started to modify my grip by gripping with the pinky and ring finger and fanning the rest.  It feels really nice and comfy, and the disc doesn’t slip.  But I’ve noticed that the disc wobbles pretty badly out of my hand.  Do you think that the wobbles will decrease as it gets more familiar and my release improves?  Or should I go back to the fan?  Thanks for your help!! I've played a few tournaments where my division has less people in it than the rec division. However, the rec player got more in disc golf money compared to the winner of intermediate or advanced because they had less players in their divisions. Do you think this is a good policy? To me it would seem more advantageous to have the winner of advanced get more than rec because it would promote moving up as you progress.  I was curious about what DD does in order to decide what the flight numbers are on a new mold, or plastic/mold combo. Also, in an earlier episode of DGAM you talked about how golf clubs are fitted to an individual in order to maximize performance for that individual. Do you think disc golf will be able to do the same with flight number, or even possibly a new system designed for maximum performance for an individual? 1st off, I love the show and love what you guys are doing for our sport! So, I registered for the GBO spectator package this morning and have been so excited to FINALLY make the drive out there from Nashville but then I read this: "Unlike in years past, Spectator Badge holders will not receive priority registration for the next GBO. This practice is now in violation of PDGA tournament registration guidelines." WOAH W.T.F (fudge) (keeping it PG) I still plan on coming but dang man. I'd be lying if I said that priority registration next year wasn't a HUGE motivating factor for us. What's that all about? Again, love the show and thank you so much for all you do! I love being a part of TT and representing our brand! When playing in a tourney, I have seen some people make their putt and then start walking to the next tee pad before the rest of the card has finished putting. I've even seen some hurry up and tap in before others are ready to make their longer putts and then start walking to the next tee. This has never sat well with me. Is it: 1. No big deal 2. Just common etiquette foul 3. A courtesy violation since you are not watching your playing partners shots Hey DGAM crew, I was watching the 2020 LVC and saw that bunkers were OB. What caught my eye though is when a player's disc landed in the sand they played from that lie which was OB. Doesn't this go against rule 802.07.A.3 or is there an exception rule somewhere To try and beat Anthony's fantasy picks, join our Fantasy Disc Golf League on SkipAce.com!  http://discgolfanswerman.com/subscriber/

Peyton Wates I have always used Innova products, but since I started listening to DGAM I have become curious about DD products. If each of you could recommend one disc to try from the DD line up which one would you suggest? (Besides the EMac Truth) Lol Justin Rules 805.3 Lost Disc (C): A player whose disc has been declared lost receives one penalty throw'. (E) If a drop zone has been provided for lost discs, the Director may allow players to proceed directly to the drop zone at the cost of two penalty throws. Can you please explain why someone would proceed to the drop zone and incur two penalty strokes when they can return to the previous lie and only incur one penalty stroke?  Daniel Long time thrower of the Escape and still one of my favorite molds, how similar is the vandal? From the is this disc right for you video it looked like the vandal was less high speed stable but a bit more low speed stable, thoughts? Eric T. Hey Bobby, Eric, and Robert. I used to throw a Discraft Challenger in Jawbreaker plastic. But since last year's trilogy challenge I love the Maiden. What's a plastic I could get the Maiden in that's closest to Jawbreaker. Thanks a bunch love the show. Tal-co's biggest fan Not taking in account of being employed by DD, would you rather live in emporia with amazing disc golf but no torchys, or live in Tulsa with good disc golf AND torchys.  Tim This is mainly for Eric, but I will accept the opinion of the other guys. If you have a course that has a hole that requires two good shots to get within the circle, and is all but impossible to get a look for a two, but is a pretty simple 3 and averages close to 3, should it be a par 3 or 4? Should par be based on if it's a "two shot hole" or what the scoring average is? Does it make a difference if it's a small city park vs a pro tour quality course? Austin  Hi Cooooooool daddy SB, Robert, and Danny. I'm a photographer in north Texas and I've been disc golfing for about 3 years now. I spectated my first NT event back at Nick Hyde Memorial a few months ago. I followed Eric Oakley's final round. I had my camera on me and was able to get some awesome shots of him in action. I really enjoyed the event and was wondering how to have a conversation with local TD's about doing more photography to grow the sport and sharpen my skills. Thanks! Dylon I currently putt with the dagger. Previously I used P2s. I love the feel of trilogy plastic and the dagger but after using the dagger for a while now and putting daily for the last few weeks, I feel it is too deep of a rim. I am also convinced trying to grip the dagger has hurt the first knuckle on my ring finger. My question is what putter would you recommend that flies similar to the dagger but is not the dagger. Thanks and Roberts hair and I guess his commentary at GBO drew me to you guys.
