China will slash its clean oil product export tax rebates from 13% to 9% starting December 1, which will likely dampen outflows from Asia's third-largest oil product exporter. While this move may be seen as China laying the groundwork for potential trade talks with the US, other factors, such as capacity rationalization and mounting government debt, could also be at play. In light of a potential US-China trade war, Commodity Insights' Asia oil news editor Neo Rong Wei, market specialist Oceana Zhou, and AltView's Grace Lee discuss in the latest episode of the Oil Markets podcast how this could bode well for Chinese oil demand, while exploring the wider implications these developments may have on regional crude and oil product markets in the year ahead. The last episode in this series focuses on B2B. We talk with S&P Global's CFO, Grace Lee and CMO, Alice Cherry. In B2B, there's a harsher reality for marketers. The conversations are more practical. There's a tendency toward the short term, and a perceived difficulty in tracking KPIs and attribution evidence, which makes it FEEL more difficult to make the case for investment. Welcome back to On The Grow, I'm Grace Lee. This is the 110th episode into the Truth About Series. "Maybe what you're experiencing isn't what you signed up for, but by growing through what you're going through, you realize that these unexpected situations all have a purpose. Maybe it was strengthening you mentally. Physically. Building patience. Having faith. Trusting God. Letting go. No matter what that purpose is, never forget — the strength we ask for doesn't look the same in every season. After all, these are the seasons that remind us what we're truly capable of." In Episode 110 on On The Grow, I do a deep mental dive into an unexpected injury that crept up two weeks before my previous marathon, what I learned during this season away from running and how it's impacted me moving forward, leaning into other goals in an unexpected season, and different perspectives for those in a similar season that you weren't expecting. In the fast-paced field of life sciences, digital pathology is poised to be a game-changer. In this episode, we sit down with Grace Lee and Douglas Clark of Agilent Technologies to explore the opportunities and challenges associated with companion diagnostics (CDx). Clark kicks off, shedding light on the current levels of digital pathology adoption in both clinical trials and practice. Thereafter, Lee outlines several opportunities and the associated regulatory hurdles, looking at areas such as the utilization of whole slide images for companion diagnostic interpretation. Pointing to the amplified scrutiny on Laboratory Developed Tests (LDTs) and the emerging CDx guidelines in the EU and China, she emphasizes the importance of aligning with agencies: “Oftentimes we are trying to manage changes in the CDx world by providing regulators with evidence that assay performance has not changed.” Clark echoes these sentiments, first highlighting the challenges posed by image variability and the resultant disparities in CDx interpretation and scoring, and then offering an optimistic outlook on the transformative potential of AI in the realm of multiplexing assays. For a deep dive into the opportunities presented by digital pathology and CDx development, tune into the full episode.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

How would you get there? Would people support you? What would it feel like to look back and realize you made that dream a reality. Grace Lee was tiny and mighty when she showed up to 29029 Stratton in 2021. She had an easy smile and a giggle and a wide-eyed wonder for the challenge in front of her. Little did any of us know that just a year earlier, Grace was sitting on her couch when she decided she was going to climb the Seven highest summits on the seven continents of the world. She had watched a documentary….she was inspired. Oh, but Grace isn't a mountaineer. She didn't ever go to the gym or play sports. She disliked the cold, camping and heights. Grace is literally working herself from the couch to Everest. What is it going to take? Who will support her? How is she going to make this dream a reality? Welcome back to On The Grow, I'm Grace Lee. This is the 109th episode into the Truth About Series. "The hardest parts of grieving are the little moments that become so routine to you that you don't realize until they're gone. Luna would always be the first one to greet me when I came back from my run. Her little paws would scurry to the door or she'd be peeking from her favorite blue pillow on my bed when the door opened to see who it was. After my runs the past few days, while walking up 9 flights of stairs to my apartment, my heart would break all over again. Knowing that Luna wouldn't be there to greet me when I opened the door. Knowing that I wouldn't see her cute little face ever again." In Episode 109 on On The Grow, I talk about a recent tragic occurrence that happened in my life. I talk about how pain affects us, what I've been learning on this healing journey so far, and a mind-blowing perspective that can help someone else who is in a similar situation. If anyone else is hurting or in pain, I hope this episode comforts you as much as this healing journey has comforted me. Welcome back to On The Grow, I'm Grace Lee. This is the 108th episode into the Truth About Series. "What's so fascinating about this progress is that a week or two leading up to the race, I was hitting my tempo runs a little faster than the 7:19 pace that I was aiming for. I remember praying about this over and over and God was telling me: “You will run this race faster than what you've been training for.” It was an unexplainable moment and of course, I had a million questions asking HOW this would happen. But since then, I couldn't shake the words out of my mind. All I knew was… something epic was going to happen at this race." In Episode 108 on On The Grow, I do a full race experience recap of the United NYC Half Marathon, I talk about my training focus and mindset of how I approached this half marathon, what it means to go after something scary and how I navigate this mindset, one of the most important things I'm learning in the current season of running, and more. Welcome back to On The Grow, I'm Grace Lee. This is the 107th episode into the Truth About Series. "There's something to be said about repetition. You know why Netflix is successful? It can retain customers for a long time with the right series. It hooks the viewer with bingeable episodes to watch any time, anywhere. If I think about the Vampire Diaries, the episodes after the first one in a series starts with: “Previously on the Vampire Diaries.” The idea is, each episode is a cliffhanger, leading to the next. And the more you watched, the more invested you were. Now what if we took that same concept… and applied it to social media?" In Episode 107 on On The Grow, I talk about the one thing I've been encouraging my clients to think about for their social media content. If you're new, I own a social media agency called Gracefullee Made, that focuses on strategic storytelling as the approach to growth on social media. In the episode, I will explain why a series thinking mindset is valuable in the world of content, the importance of repetition, and more. In this Journal Club episode of T.O.P., The Oculofacial podcast, host Dr. Seanna Grob welcomes three distinguished guests to discuss pivotal research articles from the 2023 November/December issue of OPRs. Dr. Anne Barmettler is an esteemed Associate Professor of Ophthalmology and the Director of the Oculoplastic Service at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Montefiore Medical Center, New York. She is recognized for her extensive knowledge and specialization in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery, and she lends her expertise as a member of the editorial board for OPRS. Dr. Grace Lee serves as an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology and an accomplished oculoplastic surgeon at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts Eye and Ear. Her rich experience and scholarly work are pivotal in the advancement of her field. Dr. Pete Setabutr is a Professor of Ophthalmology and the Director of the Oculoplastic Service at the University of Illinois College of Medicine and Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary. He is also the Vice Chair of Global Ophthalmology and a valuable contributor to the editorial board for OPRS. The episode delves into potential novel surgical techniques in patients with epiphora and addresses perioperative considerations in overweight and obese patients as well as outcomes of primary monocanalicular stent placement in pediatric patients with Down Syndrome and nasolacrimal duct obstruction. The conversation begins with an intriguing exploration of an alternative to dacryocystorhinostomy, Nasolacrimal Duct Coronary Stent Recanalization (NCR), and its potential to utilize the physiologic anatomy for treating nasolacrimal duct obstructions. Additionally, the episode sheds light on the complexities of managing overweight and obese patients in oculofacial plastic surgery, encompassing perioperative risks and specialized care protocols. The third segment is a retrospective look at the success rates of primary monocanalicular stent placement in pediatric patients with Down Syndrome versus those without, highlighting varied outcomes and the quest for optimal treatments in such clinical scenarios. Key Takeaways: New techniques like Nasolacrimal Duct Coronary Stent Recanalization (NCR) are being investigated as potential alternatives to traditional dacryocystorhinostomy. Managing oculofacial surgery in overweight and obese patients presents unique challenges, including the likelihood of extended operative times and postoperative wound healing difficulties. Pediatric oculoplastic surgery may require bespoke approaches, especially in children with Down Syndrome, where success rates for primary monocanalicular stent placement are significantly lower than in non-Down Syndrome patients. Bicanalicular stent placement with suture tying as a new method to potentially reduce operative room removal is discussed. The conversations in this podcast provide rich, practice-changing insights that could influence oculoplastic surgeons' approach to diverse patient groups. There's endless paths to choose from. The question is no longer, ‘where?' But instead, ‘which ONE?'
