Hawley was infuriated that the DHS had not fired the employee for her anti-Semitic comments. Later in the hearing, Mayorkas confirmed that the Biden administration has allowed over 600,000 known "gotaways" to illegally cross into the country, putting Americans at risk of another terrorist attack. They also hammer Health and Human Services Sec. Xavier Becerra for pushing for a "universal system of public health" even though he admits the Constitution doesn't allow it. He thinks it's bad that different states could set different policies during the COVID pandemic and he wants more power over your life to address climate change. Then, they slam Michigan Rep. HealthcareNOW Radio - Insights and Discussion on Healthcare, Healthcare Information Technology and More

U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra answers questions about the big issues he's facing as the nation's top health official. Most importantly, he's dealing with the aftermath of the Supreme Court decision turning abortion law over to the states. Secretary Becerra says, “A woman is three times more likely to die of a complication during pregnancy if she happens to reside in a state that restricts her access to abortion care services. We are seeing women and their health harmed simply because of the politics in that state …we're doing everything we can to continue to protect a woman's right to access the care she needs including abortion care.” Secretary Becerra leads a $1.7 trillion agency that's also preparing for the fall vaccination season, ensuring Americans eligible for Medicaid stay enrolled, and planning for his department's new power to negotiate for drug prices. Hosts Mark Masselli and Margaret Flinter ask him to weigh in on all these issues in this week's edition.

Lee Smith says we have to recognize everything we're looking at. We're dealing with pathological lunatics. The fact that the Biden corruption is coming out may mean they want to swap out Biden for Gavin Newsom or some other bright, talented rising star in the Democrat Party. They knew Biden was in cognitive decline in 2020, that's why they hid him in a basement. They kept him away from the public, they knew what they were getting. Look what's been accomplished behind the blank screen of Joe Biden. The Progressives filled central parts of their wish list: opening the southern border, earmarking trillions of dollars for their climate change agenda. It's important to understand the aspects of the Trans agenda. HHS Sec. Rachel Levine is basically a cross dresser. Americans are forced to lie and say this is a woman. We're compelled to live in a false reality. The other part is the malevolent satanic part which is processing young women and in some cases teenagers to disfigure their bodies, mutilate and sterilize them. It's a shocking moment for most Americans to realize what we're looking at. There's something wrong with this country's elites, the corporate class, political and cultural class and the media. They expect to be celebrated and saluted for this. It's a dark dark stain on our country. In many ways this is replacement faith. It's a dark, pathological evil. People feel it and see it and are both outraged and scared. Thirteen years ago, President Barack Obama and Democrats in Congress fundamentally transformed the U.S. health care system by providing health insurance coverage that curbed costs and expanded access to millions of Americans. While challenges remain to strengthen the legislation, the Affordable Care Act (ACA) remains entrenched as a permanent feature of America's hybrid, public-private health care system, and continues to deliver on its promise to provide near-universal coverage to Americans at an affordable cost. As we look back on the successes and challenges of the Affordable Care Act, the Progressive Policy Institute's Director of Health Care Erin Delaney sits down with former Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius to reflect on the landmark passage of the ACA and the critical role it played in providing essential coverage to millions of Americans during the COVID-19 pandemic. Delaney and Secretary Sebelius look back on the path — 13 years ago — that led to one of the most consequential pieces of health care legislation to be enacted in this country. The Biden Administration is gearing up to go door-to-door to “encourage folks to get vaccinated.” This is a dangerous idea, but maybe not for the reasons you're thinking. HHS Sec. Becerra thinks it's absolutely the “government's right to know who's vaccinated.” Weird, considering y'all work for us. Or did you forget that?

So Walter Biden wants to go door-to-door to, um, "urge" you to get vaccinated. And Biden's minions have joined in. HHS Sec. Xavier Beccera says it is government's business to know if you've been vaccinated or not. And "Raggedy Ann" Jen Psaki says it's ok with her if states reimpose restrictions. Get it? So what if a government agent knocks on your door and, um, asks if you've been vaccinated? Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar and the Trump Administration say they will not let 'red tape' slow their effort combat the coronavirus. That is one of the reasons why Sec. Azar and the White House have been defending their recent emergency authorization of convalescent plasma to treat Covid-19. Earlier in the week, the HHS Secretary joined host Jessica Rosenthal to discuss the effectiveness of using the blood of recovered coronavirus patients in those battling the virus and some of the controversies surrounding the authorization of that treatment.  Sec. Azar stood by its effectiveness and denied claims the White House pressured the FDA and other health officials to prematurely okay the use of plasma.  Our interview with the key White House Coronavirus Task Force member was long and we could not include much of it in our original segment.  On the Fox News Rundown you will hear more from HHS Sec. Alex Azar and hear his take on the perception held by some that America is not handling this virus as well as other countries in the world.   Learn more about your ad choices. The Hake Report, Mon, 5/18/20: I love Eric Trump, and he's right: Democrats (and media) are “milking” the crisis to hurt President Trump (and Americans) — and it'll magically disappear after the election. CNN's Jake Tapper doesn't want to even consider that Democrat Governors (like Gretchen Whitmer of Michigan and RINO Larry Hogan of Maryland,) would do that, and of course HHS Sec. Alex Azar is being Politically Correct.  GREAT CALLS: Rick from Hampton, VA, talks about blacks escalating situations, such as Ahmaud Arbery apparently did. James argues with Earl from Michigan awhile — who defends the “Hands Up Don't Shoot” lie and Obama. At the end, KT from Maryland is fed up with cops enforcing the rights-violating rules.  At the very end, James replays Eric Trump, tells about a Christian couple that got sick, and tells a quick story of nasty liberals making rude comments because James wasn't wearing a mask while walking outdoors at a park by himself.  BLOG: https://www.thehakereport.com/blog/2020/5/18/eric-trump-dems-milking-crisis-mon-51820  VIDEO: https://youtu.be/vZr8reglygo  Call in! 888-775-3773, live Sunday through Friday 9 AM (Los Angeles) https://thehakereport.com
