The complete audiobook is available for purchase at Audible.com: Now We Are Six By A. A. Milne This collection of 35 short poems was first published in 1927, and is a sequel to When We Were Very Young, which was the first anthology of verse dealing with the domestic adventures of Christopher Robin and Winnie the Pooh. As the author explains in the introduction: “We have been nearly three years writing this book. We began it when we were very young ... and now we are six. So, of course, bits of it seem rather baby-ish to us, almost as if they had slipped out of some other book by mistake. So we want you to know that the name of the book doesn't mean that this is us being six all the time, but that it is about as far as we've got at present, and we half think of stopping there.” Narrated by Alan Weyman, Rosalind Murphy, John Burlinson, Sumara Meers, Linda Barrans, Phil Chenevert, Amy Soakes, Tim Dehn, Roberta Jackson, Denis Daly, Gary D. MacFadden, David K. Martin, Kathleen Li, Sarah Jane Rose, Kris Keppeler, Sarah Bacaller, Rebecca H. Lee, Melissa Green, Lee Ann Howlett, Marty Krz, Jennifer Fournier, Aisling Gray, Susan Iannucci, Jennie Litt, Graham Scott, Terah Tucker, Lucy Bacaller, Shane Hughes, Ted Wenskus, Erin Grassie, Kendra Murray, Cath Bilson, J. D. Sutter, Emma Faye, Bob Gonzalez and Daniela Acitelli.

It's the prep, not the procedure and I second that. For more stories from Mary, check out her profile on Medium.com. Striving to bring a giggle and weirdness to your day, this podcast’s mission is to feature fantastic writers whose wonderful stories deserve to be heard in audio. And it feeds my love of telling funny stories about life, befuddlement and the odd adventures in life. I have an affinity for the funny in the mundane, I always have. I cataloged my weird adventures at the gym into a one-woman show that you can watch on my YouTube channel. It’s entitled Does This Happen to You at the Gym. I got a lot of joy out of that, so I began writing about my adventures, now featured in the serial publication, Channillo. There was no way I could write enough for a weekly podcast, so I began telling funny stories by other writers. And I’m still at it. You can subscribe to Does This Happen to You on YouTube and check out my written Does This Happen to You stories on Wordpress or Kris Keppeler on Medium. Visit my website for my audiobook narration/production and voice-over work. You can hire me to narrate your book or your blog. Andrew Knott is one of my favorite writers on Medium. I find his stories personal, poignant, and humorous. They're perfect for Does This Happen to You, as I want to narrate stories for this podcast that not only make you smile but also think. Visit Anthony on Medium.com for more stories. I used to perform singing telegrams and comic roasts. When the economy went south in 2008, so did those gigs. I missed them so I wrote a one-woman show about my weird experiences at the gym, called Does This Happen to You at the Gym. I loved performing the show and telling those stories. This blossomed into my blog that was too short for a podcast. Since I’m a voice actor I came up with the idea of narrating stories I loved from other writers for my podcast. Did you know the use of audiobooks is on the rise? While print format and e-books are still the most popular, it's only the audiobook format that has grown in popularity over the last few years. Audiobooks have some great qualities; they are easy to listen to while doing other tasks like commutes in the car and exercise; they are perfect for modern busy lives of multi-tasking; but they also can add a whole new layer of interest to a story if in the hands of a deft and talented narrator. At least ⅓ of the books Carrie and I talk about on the show are audiobooks and including them in your life is one of the best ways to increase your reading time. Our guest today, Kris Keppeler, is an actor and audiobook narrator who has narrated over 50 books in her career. She uses her own studio located in her home in Washington State. She is also a consultant for other people who want to do what she does, including authors who want to narrate their own audiobooks. Kris talks to us about how her opera background has helped her perform better as an audiobook narrator, why narrating books is a particularly fun job for an actor who always wants to play all the roles, and why she never auditions for books she doesn't enjoy. Books Mentioned in this Episode: 1- Secret Louisville: A Guide to the Weird, Wonderful, and Obscure by Kevin Gibson 2- Don't Ever Forget by Matthew Farrell 3- The Exiles by Christina Baker Kline

Kris Keppeler was a painfully shy child who loved to sing and longed to be in school musicals. But she was told by her high school choir teacher that she had an awful voice! Kris kept at it, and had some success, but after junior college she quit singing! She joined the ranks of corporate employees, until she couldn't ignore the yearning to sing any longer. Kris hired a voice teacher who discovered Kris actually had a lovely voice, but she had been "misdiagnosed" as a mezzo soprano when she is really a first soprano! Kris learned how to sing opera and her creative career took off, she even has an IMDB page! Kris expanded her range to writing business blogs and satire, performing her own material in a one-woman show, doing e-learning, video game and explainer video voiceovers, narrating and producing audio books, and has her own blog and podcast, "Does This Happen to You?" Kris is nominated for Outstanding Storytelling Best Performance at the 2017 SOVAS Awards in NYC, this weekend! Tune in to hear her journey of persistence despite discouragement to fun and rewarding work!
Kris Keppeler is a narrator, actor, writer, voice actor, and funny story junkie. Visit her IMDB page for stage and screen credits, read her Does This Happen to You? series on Channillo for a giggle or listen to samples of the 31 audio books narrated on Audible. She’s impersonated a cat, a prince, a princess, a witch, a madwoman, and a president with her voice. She loves to narrate funny stories. Tune into her podcast, Does This Happen to You? for short stories about the more bizarre ways to get through your day, http://kriskkaria.podbean.com/.
Watch the sketch on YouTube here!: Fellow podcaster and #PodernFamily member Kris Keppeler joins me in recording. Kris has a show called “Does This Happen To You?” where she explores the bizarre ways of getting through your day. On the show she reads really interesting articles from Medium. Kris is also an actress, and has been in a couple of horror movies. You can find out more about Kris on our website at sketchcomedypodcastshow.com in the guests section. Speaking of which, the new site is awesome! The episodes are front and center, it is incredibly easy to see what is new and to go back and listen to past episodes, and you can even use this site to subscribe to the podcast or get to our YouTube page. But, I think the coolest are some of the other features, like the ability to download the transcription of the podcast (what?), to get more information and bios on our guests (whaaaat?) and even leave us feedback (Whaaaaaaaat?!?!) or leave us a small or sizable donation (WHAAAAAAT???!!!!!????). I know, I’m excited too! And now, episode 16 “Steamy Conversation” Sketch Comedy Podcast show is an independent and completely improvised sketch podcast that is based on conversations with interesting people like YOU! We welcome all suggestions, and we are always looking for new and interesting people to have on the podcast. Thank you so much for watching this video, and please check out our other links for more information, interaction and overall fun! Our match game contestants had some epic beards for the evening. Our guest was voice over artist, actress and podcaster Kris Keppeler. Our points were scored by halves this week, but the best beard won. Kris talked with us after the match game about the new horror film that she was in, a sci-fi audio drama she's working on and how many hours it takes to narrate a whole book.
