Dear Listeners,I've been having nightmares recently. Maybe I shouldn't call them nightmares, but it's hard to describe them in any other way. Each night, I fall asleep – or at least, I think I'm falling asleep – only to see the silhouette of a tall, beautiful woman open my door right before I lose consciousness. The next thing I remember is walking through my old high school and finding one of my classmates drinking another girl's blood. Terror seizes me, because I forgot to study for my blood drinking exam. I run from the room, mostly to give the girls their privacy, and fall right into a massive pit of worms. Dread arrests my limbs, because they're all sour gummy worms and now my clothes are covered in tart sugar and sticky goo. Also all of these gummy worms are dirty now and that's just adding to the stress. Around this time, a writhing shadow covers me and I awaken in a cold sweat, look up, and see the flowchart for Heaven's Feel open on the monitor in front of me.On this episode, Sara, Runa, and returning guest MK complete their reading of Fate/Stay Night with the Heaven's Feel route! This route immediately diverges from the others, but still remains close to the Fate route until a scene in the Matou family basement pulls us deeper into the literal pit of Sakura's trauma and despair. When Sakura confides in Shirou about the abuse she's suffered at her family home, he takes her to stay at his house to protect her from Shinji and their terrifying grandfather, Zouken. When a mysterious, eldritch Shadow begins stalking the city and defeating servants, Shirou and Saber start investigating only to cross paths with a new servant, True Assassin, at the Ryuudo Temple. While Shirou faces off against Zouken, the master of True Assassin, Saber fights his servant only to lose not to Assassin, but the mysterious Shadow. Meanwhile, Sakura has been suffering from sudden intense fevers and bouts of weakness and Shirou encourages her to remain at his home and rest. When Shinji attempts to take Sakura back to the Matou home, Rin and Shirou try to protect her only to end up facing Rider, now revealed to have been Sakura's servant all along. From there the Shadow continues its rampage, Zouken continues scheming, Shirou continues experiencing unnerving nightmares, and Sakura's condition continues to deteriorate. The final secrets of the Holy Grail War come to light in this final route, as Illya reveals her connection to Shirou, Rin and Sakura reconnect as sisters, and Angra Mainyu properly takes the stage at last.Fate/Stay Night Q&A Episode: Our April Episode will be a huge Q&A Episode about the whole of Fate/Stay Night and Fate/Zero questions are up for grabs as well! Dear Listeners,Recently I witnessed a devastating battle in my dreams. On the floor of a figure collecting convention, an absurdly wealthy collector was completely annihilating everyone in a quiz competition about rare and obscure scale figures. Talented sculptors, award-winning painters, and industry darlings all wept in lamentation as their knowledge proved insufficient to compete with the golden-haired man who owned not only the first Saber Lily Distant Avalon figure ever produced, but also prototypes of promotional figures including the solid gold Gundam RX-78-2 as well as every single Winter edition Hatsune Miku scale figure ever produced. Then a guy who does garage kits came in and absolutely bodied him in the last round, it was incredible....Wait, actually I think that might have happened for real. This month, Runa and Sara return to Fate/Stay Night with guest MK to read through the game's second route: Unlimited Blade Works. While the Fate route left them wanting more emotional resonance and less Shirou, the Unlimited Blade Works route delivers both in spades. Diverging from the Fate Route when Shirou uses a command seal to prevent Saber from attacking Archer and Rin, Unlimited Blade Works sees the two masters work much more closely together as they navigate their growing affections for one another while the Holy Grail War is going, admittedly, Pretty Bad for them. Not only do they suffer a devastating loss followed by an abrupt betrayal, the eighth servant Gilgamesh makes a much earlier entrance and quickly dominates the field. With Saber lost, Archer gone, and no command seals left, Rin and Shirou struggle to survive together as they piece together the mystery of Archer's identity, Shirou's future, and the magic that could help them win the Holy Grail War: Unlimited Blade Works. As always, if you enjoy our show please consider supporting us by leaving a 5 star review on whatever platform you use to listen. Jared and Anne Ladyem (anneladyem.com) breakdown two different games this week. First, Jared discusses the latest game from the team behind the Yakuza series with Judgment. We dive deep into being a detective and sometimes attorney while punching folks in the face. After that, we speed through a discussion of Virtue’s Last Reward after we quickly made our way through the game, so it’s mostly a discussion about the wild endings.
Retro Encounter had so much fun playing 999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors last year that the same four codenamed panelists reunited for the sequel! Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward has more friendly robots, more diabolical puzzles, and more artificially intelligent rabbits than its predecessor, and the crew is here for all of it.

The first Threepcast episode of 2017 is here! In this episode, the Ridgways return to the world of Zero Escape to play the second game in the trilogy - Virtue's Last Reward. We compare the game extensively to its predecessor (Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors), we discuss the effectiveness of the game's new mechanics, and we spend a lot of time trying to untangle the rather complicated time travel that this game throws at you. Next time, we will be reviewing Minecraft: Story Mode. On the Halloween Gamecast we talk about the leak of Lara Croft’s next adventure game, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, 999 and Virtue’s Last Reward getting ported to Vita and PS4, and the Pokemon Sun and Moon games being the most pre-ordered Nintendo games ever! We get into discussing the January Direct announcement for the Nintendo Switch and finally, some controversy over Bethesda not shipping out review copies of their games before release date.
We go under the visor with Playstation VR and discuss the Nintendo Switch announcement plus we also talk No Man's Sky, Gears of War 4, Forza Horizon 3, Madden 17, Terraria, Lunar: Silver Star Harmony, Recore, Battlefield 1, Headlander, Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward and Batman: The Telltale Series.
It's time for our annual spooktastic Halloween episode of Threepcast! This year, the spooks skew towards the surreal and sarcastic as we review the cartoon adventure Tony Tough and the Night of Roasted Moths, a game all about a man and his missing dog (or was it a tapir?) Next month, we return to the world of twisted social experiments and play the second in the Zero Escape series - Virtue's Last Reward. We get back into Destiny, but before that, a WoW update, a cool thing about Virtue’s Last Reward, some talk of ReCore again, finishing Deus Ex, and some indies on the rise. We only have one story to talk about in news, but really, it’s a pass. More bad news about Oculus and the state of memes. Questions this week have us guessing our allegiance to Kingdom Hearts and thinking about PSX. We talk about Kingdom Hearts again. Anime Podcast joke. That’s the show! Thanks for listening

Welcome to show 342 This week we played Pokemon Go, Kentucky Route Zero Pt 4, Zero Escape - Virtue's Last Reward, Super Arc Light, Starbound 1.0, Lovers In A Dangerous Spacetime and The Room 2. As news is thin on the ground this week, we decided to look over our history with first person shooters, how we feel the genre has evolved and which games we loved the best. We round out the show with all the usual social stuff Enjoy Send Speakpipes to www.speakpipe.com/veterangamers Follow us on twitter @veterangamersuk and if you have any opinions or questions, send emails to: podcast@veterangamers.co.uk Gamertags Chinny – 360 ChinChinny, PS3 Chinny1985 The Daddy – 360 Big Daddy Blast, Steam BigDaddyBlaster, PS3 xXBig-DaddyXx Duke – 360 DukeSkath, PS3 DukeSkath, Steam DukeSkath
Welcome to show 341 This week the show has been edited by Chinny, which means two things. It will be edited well and it will be late. Never mind. It is sweaty ball time in Northern hemisphere. The earth has decided to tilt towards the sun a little too close for my liking. Despite the hot weather the guys have managed to play some video games. Chinny has been making some time for the greatest sport that is known to man, Snooker. Snooker Nation was released on the Xbox ONE. Chinny snapped it up but then found out that he already owns it on Steam. Stu has been hanging out on the park and going for walks. Not for his health, but for the POKEMON. Stu has also played some game called Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward. I wasn't on the show when he was talking about this but it looks weird. I think we can all assume that it's crap. Evolve is now free so that's just the right price for Stu to buy it. He played it and yeah, it's Evolve. I don't know what he was expecting. Stu also played Goosebumps. I never really asked when I was on the show BUT WHY THE £$%@ IS HE PLAYING THAT FOR? Duke was going to play The Witcher 3 but instead he took out the disc and shot it with a gun. We did the news and speakpipes and stuff. Blah blah blah Enjoy. This week, Nathan gets annoyed about The LEGO Movie’s warm reception, finishes off Attack on Titan season 1 and is reinvigorated with Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward. Due to the new release “Because The Internet”, Childish Gambino gets some discussion as well as reviewing music as a whole. Speaking of internet, Paul and Nathan go back to their pasts and recall their very early internet memories (you know, before it was cool). Also, why is Space Jam 2 even a thing?

It's our Podcast Diamond Jubilee over here at GameCola, and to celebrate, we're going to talk about videogames! No, no, that's not an April Fools' joke. For our 60th podcast, we return to a classic topic: What videogames are we currently playing–and we actually talk quite a bit about videogames this time around! Join Alex Jedraszczak, Michael Gray, Joseph Martin, and Diana Gray as they talk about such videogames as: - Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones - Terraria - Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward - Luigi's Mansion 2: Dark Moon - Ragnarok Online 2 (the new one, not that other one) - Mario's Time Machine - Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island - Dance Dance Revolution Mario Mix - Dragon Ball Z: Super Sonic Warriors - Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 - Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Master Quest - Secret of Evermore - Space Ace Hard Rain - That Pinball Game That Comes Preinstalled on Windows XP We also managed to talk about a number of videogame-related topics! I'll let those be a surprise for those who actually want to listen to the podcast instead of just reading bullet lists about the podcast topics.
