In this episode, Chabidaye discuss:The S.T.R.E.S.S framework to utilize when you feel stressedListening to and challenging your negative thoughts Sharing your struggle with others Setting boundaries and creating good habits Key Takeaways:The best thing you can do when you feel overwhelmed, frustrated, or stressed is to get up and walk away. Take a few minutes off. Change the environment you're in. Seek out the sunlight, have a cup of coffee, and walk around. Do anything you can to change your environment at the moment. Listen to your thoughts and challenge each one of them. Ask yourself what actions you can take or what you can start doing to improve your situation. Share your situation with your trusted people. By talking things through, you might realize what your next steps could be. You might even gain a better perspective once you hear what other people think or even discover solutions that got others through a similar situation. Be mindful of your energy when you feel stressed. Raise your energy by going for a walk, doing some exercise, or listening to music. Do the things that lift you up and make you feel better. It will help you think of possible solutions to the stress you're feeling. When you see stress invading your thoughts and shifting your day, then practice the framework and take back control. Recognize the impact that this stressor has on your overall life and your ability to focus on your priorities. Overcome the stress and go back to the things that you had planned for that day. When you hit moments of stress, you fall back automatically on your habits. If you form good habits, then you can get back up quickly out of stress. In this episode, Chabidaye discuss:The five reasons why resolutions fail The three elements of habit creation The power of habits High-performance habits Key Takeaways:Resolutions fail because they often lack clarity, are usually focused on the outcome, and are only concerned with surface-level behavior instead of underlying habits. They are also usually pursued in isolation and don't take emotional factors into account. The cue triggers the behavior that makes the brain reorganize itself and create neural pathways which leads to dopamine rewarding the person with positive feelings. This process creates a habit loop and makes habits eventually become automatic. Habits are powerful! They are automated, created through consistency, form positive routines, instill resilience, and are the building blocks to creating positive outcomes or changes in your life. Here are the five high-performance habits: clarity, productivity, energy, influence, and courage. These habits are proven to be effective in the lives of many of the world's best high-performing people. "Consistency builds momentum. In this episode, Chabidaye discuss:Start with one stepEnroll others in your vision Get into a rhythm of repetition Vision provides clarity Be empowered, empower others Key Takeaways:Whatever dream or goal you have in mind, no matter how big or small it is, start it. Lay down the foundation and build upon it as you go. If you keep going, you're going to create momentum. Enrolling others in the journey will not only make the journey more enjoyable and more efficient, it will also bring growth for you and the people that you enroll. Repetition builds skills because they become a habit. Once a habit has been created, it becomes automatic and will take less time, energy, and effort to keep doing. Having a vision will help you by giving you clarity on what impact you desire to create with your words, behavior, energy, and goals. When you feel empowered, you become unstoppable. Things take time, but when you have clarity and empowerment, nothing can stop you from reaching what it is you want to achieve. "If you find people around you who are going through something similar or they've been through that already and they're a little further on the journey, you find that it makes the journey a little bit more beautiful because you know that you can get through it." — Chabidaye Jaglal Ramnath CONNECT WITH CHABIDAYE:Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/chabidaye.ramnath.3Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/chabidaye/Website: https://leadandlift.com/LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/chabidayejaglalramnath/ Show notes by Podcastologist: Justine Talla Audio production by Turnkey Podcast Productions. In this episode, Chabidaye discuss:Stop and let go More of what you love Start something new Measures are your GPS Key Takeaways:Let go of all the things that no longer serve you. Declutter your workspace as well as your mind. Identify the things that you don't serve you, write them down, and commit to changing them in the upcoming year. The goal is to keep and increase the things that you loved having and experiencing this year. Filling your time with more of the things that you love will help you become more grateful and happier. Ask yourself this question: “if I had more courage, what would I start doing?” Take what you have in mind, step out in faith and courage, and make that thing a reality. A lot of New Year's resolutions fail because people set goals, but don't set measures. If you set measures and make yourself accountable to them, then you can protect yourself from slipping back into how you were before."[Cultivate] gratitude of the highs and lows… The highs gave us wins and accomplishments, which we celebrated. In this episode, Chabidaye discusses:The real problem with work-life balance Setting boundaries for balance Making your habits serve you Discovering your priority and creating harmony Key Takeaways:Work-life balance is not really a balance issue. The issue is that we have no boundaries and we let activities bleed into all other aspects of life. Shift your perspective from balancing hours to introducing boundaries for your work time, your family time, and your personal time. Measure yourself on each key area. Our habits shape most of our actions during the day. If your habits are not supporting you, then know that you have the power to change them and you must change them if you truly do want to create the balance that you want in your life. Knowing your top priority will help you make decisions in your life that are aligned with that. Being congruent with what matters in your heart will make you feel happier with yourself because you will feel that you are doing the thing that you need to do. "People say they don't have time. About Eunicia Peret: Are you worried that you are not “building wealth fast enough” or that your financial plan may not be enough to secure your future? Perhaps you hear the same strategies year after year when you file your taxes and are wondering “How do the ultra-wealthy pay limited to no taxes”? Eunicia Peret brings to awareness The Power of Leveraging Your Financial Team to maximize your income streams and pay fewer taxes. She has seen enough to know that without the proper strategies, everything else is just tactics in motion. In this episode, Chabidaye and Eunicia discuss:Blindspots and pitfalls in finances How to gain financial freedom The importance of alignment in finances Finding and fixing financial leakages Key Takeaways:There are a lot of ways individuals can get robbed of their money that the financial services industry doesn't address because they are not incentivized to talk about it.The key to gaining freedom and peace of mind is to address the problems and look into those blindspots and money-stealing mistakes. By doing that, you'll be able to gain a level of awareness and comfort.Financial management goes beyond just merely knowing where to put your money, but also in how aligned and connected you feel with the decisions that you make. Assess the money that's coming in and see where it's going. If we can identify where the financial leakages are, then we can redeploy them for our own financial gain, thus relieving some of those fears. In this episode, Chabidaye discuss:Starting with self-leadershipManaging your time, priorities, and energyClearing your open tabs of thought Thinking before you speak Key Takeaways:Start by leading yourself. Make better choices by thinking how a leader does and develop a better attitude. When you are in a bad situation or bad environment, you can either become influenced by the environment or choose to influence the environment by choosing to be different.Manage your time, manage your priorities, and manage your energy. Don't waste your time with agenda-less meetings. Set goals and organize tasks by priorities. Give updates to your boss and remember to always be mindful of the energy you give out. Keep a notebook with you. As things come up during the day, write them down so that you can let those thoughts go. Keep your head clear and make some room in your mind. Take a pause, take a minute or two, and think about what message you want to convey so that when you open your mouth to speak, you'll be able to say it very succinctly. Don't waste time with excuses, instead, take ownership. "Remember, good leadership is like a ray of sunshine, and it gets noticed the most after a rainy day. In this episode, Chabidaye discuss:Top five things that drain your confidence Competence-confidence loopSurrounding yourself with encouraging people and positive thoughts The most important step to take Key Takeaways:Here are the top five things that drain your confidence: comparison with others, the fear of rejection and judgment, lack of skill and preparation, an unsupportive environment, and negative self-talk.Create a foundation for your confidence built out of knowledge and skills. There is what is called a competence-confidence loop, it's rooted in psychology and human development. The idea is that gaining competence can lead to increased confidence and vice-versa. Surround yourself with individuals who encourage your growth and have a similar or same goal. While we get rid of toxic thoughts, let's introduce positive ones. Find affirmations that uplift you and take a little pride in yourself. The most important step to take is to take action. By taking action, you can gain mastery. Before you can have confidence, you need to have the courage to take the first step. Your confidence grows when you confront your fears. In this episode, Chabidaye discuss:Leadership is all about developing relationshipsPeople gravitate toward leaders who winHelping your team members grow into their potentialThe pinnacle of leadership Key Takeaways:You're going to want to move out of the first level of leadership as quickly as you can by building and developing relationships with the team around you. Without relationships, you will only get compliance and not cooperation. People will only follow you to the extent of what's written on their job description, and that's it.By developing your relationship with your team and with people from other departments as well, you'll be able to succeed in your goals. People will see your success and they will want to be in your team.Anyone in a leadership role has the power to either put down a team member or lift them up. Be a leader who sees people's strengths, lifts them up, and helps them grow into their potential. The fifth level is the highest level of leadership and it's something that might take your entire life to reach. The fifth level is when people follow you for who you are and what you represent. In this episode, Chabidaye discuss:How your growth affects othersWhen should you start taking leadership seriously?Growing faster and more effectively through coachingTaking responsibility for your team's growthKey Takeaways:People become what they see in you. If you are not growing and investing in yourself, then the team will also not grow. That's when performance issues start popping up. Simple issues that could've been resolved immediately become one big fire that spreads throughout the organization.Leadership is influence and if you are influencing somebody right now, then you are already a leader. Don't wait until you get the title or position, commit to becoming a better leader now.It is more effective and more enjoyable to take the journey of growth with a coach and a community. You need someone to keep you in check, keep you accountable to your commitment, keep you on track toward improvement, and measure your growth so that you know that you are getting somewhere, while also helping you maintain your relationship with your family. The greatest benefit of creating a truly efficient, high-performing, and reliable team is that you'll be able to safely delegate tasks and trust them. This will improve the overall process of your team."Step into that power and start learning how to be a good leader. In this episode, Chabidaye discuss:High-performance success Creating progress to build momentum Do you want to survive or thrive? You have enough time Key Takeaways: High-performance coaching is about creating systems of self-improvement so that you can reach your meaning of success while also being able to have a deeper and closer relationship with the people that you love. Ask yourself this question: “What is the next right move for me?” Having clarity enables you to take action. Without clarity, you'll find yourself stuck in procrastination and inaction. We are faced with two choices at every moment: do you want to survive? Or do you want to be extraordinary? The journey to becoming extraordinary is to learn and grow so that you are able to deal with life's problems more effectively and that you are able to move beyond those. Everybody has dreams, but most feel like they are locked out of opportunity because they are too busy. You have the same amount of hours as everybody else. The problem isn't that you don't have enough time, the problem is that you do not yet know how to utilize your time effectively in order to achieve what you want. Without health, your emotional and skill growth would be all for nothing. Be willing to learn and grow, sharpen your tools through training and education. One of the areas which would always need sharpening is your financial knowledge. You have to know how to budget, save, and prepare for retirement. Be clear about who you are and what your purpose is. Invest time, money, and effort into your own growth. Then, impart the gift you've gained to others. That's when you go from growth-zone to glory-zone. Step back and ask yourself, “what's the next best thing I can do right now?” The next question you can ask yourself is, “what lesson can I learn from this right now?” Lastly, ask yourself, “what can I still be grateful for despite all that's happening?” "When you get into your zone of glory, where you are teaching and coaching and expelling the knowledge and the resources that you have gained to someone else. In this episode, Cheryl and Dr. Bernice discuss: Investing in things you understand Getting started in real estate The law of reciprocity Money masters of the universe Key Takeaways: Invest in things that you know and understand. When you don't completely understand something, be cautious. Gather more information until you can understand something enough to explain it. Everybody thinks that maybe you should buy a house or some sort of property when you first start, but that can be a very hard way to get started. Because then you have to jump into being the landlord and all these other things. Giving back doesn't only benefit the recipient, it benefits you too. It makes the world a better place, and the help you give ends up going back to you as well. Women are the money masters of the universe, they just don't know it yet. In this episode, Cheryl and Tammy discuss: Blazing a new trail Letting your skill speak for themselves Becoming successful in all aspects Being mentally ready to solve problems Key Takeaways: We are able to progress thanks to people who blazed the trail, people who may not have been recognized throughout history. When the trail becomes overgrown, it's up to us to blaze a new trail and keep the light shining behind so that we can all go as far as we could. Earn your credibility by doing your job well and doing it consistently. If you are an underdog in the demographic, you don't have to come into a situation with the attitude of having to prove something to people. Just let your skills and experience speak for themselves. If you want to excel at every aspect of your life despite juggling a lot of responsibility, then you've got to learn to be present in the moment. Focus on what your role is right now and what you should be doing. Don't let yourself be distracted. Be the best in what you're doing where you are right now. Be ready for problems to show up. Not in the way where you're worrying about things that haven't happened yet that it already becomes a problem in your life. In this episode, Cheryl and Leta discuss: The importance of speaking out about abuse Striving to go past the point of survival Taking steps to keep yourself safe Taking responsibility for your own inner work Key Takeaways: Speaking out about your difficult experiences isn't only beneficial for your own healing, they are also able to give others hope. Your resilience will inspire people and your willingness to talk about it will give them a safe space to also talk about the challenges that they face. Strive to go past the point of survival and into overcoming adversity. Don't be defined by what you went through, instead, try to home in on the lessons that you've learned and the character you've built up through your perseverance. In a perfect world, women should be able to go wherever they want, wear whatever they want, and be safe. As it is right now, people have to make adjustments in order to be safe. One must be careful, acknowledging the danger, preparing for it, and avoiding it. If we don't take personal responsibility and work on our own character, we can be having a buffet of goodness in front of us and be starving. We won't be able to confidently stand in the face of our own reflection. Fulfill your commitments to yourself, and be responsible for your own inner work. “There becomes a point where your character, who you are, and the lessons learned from that are more important to you than the events.” — Leta Greene Connect with Leta Greene: Website: https://letagreene.com/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/leta.greene Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/leta_greene/?hl=en YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/user/glamourconnection/videos LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/hotness/ Get in Touch with Cheryl: Website: www.cherylknows.com YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCwvWKXBC6fKn1dLGY11hxIg Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/theknowltonteam/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/cherylknowlton/ Show notes by Podcastologist: Justine Talla Audio production by Turnkey Podcast Productions. In this episode, Cheryl and Jody discuss: Achieving your goals through mindset How mindset and action work together How to get better at embracing negative emotions Choosing the story we tell ourselves Key Takeaways: There is an abundance of information and resources out there that will give us the “how” of whatever our goal may be. The reason why we haven't achieved our goals isn't for a lack of “how” but because our heads are not in the right place. Mindset and action go hand in hand in the realization of your goals. When you work on having a good mindset while taking the necessary steps to reach your goals, that's when you can truly be empowered to reach your goals. Embrace negative emotions, do not fear them. If the only thing that's stopping you is because you might feel disappointed if it doesn't turn out well, then do it anyway. The only way that you'll get there is if you keep moving forward, and the only way you could become strong enough to handle disappointment is to practice facing it and handling it. Once we realize that the story we've told ourselves is just that - a story and that it is optional if we're going to believe it or if we're going to let it go, then it gives us the power to choose how we would see ourselves and the world around us. “A lot of us are sitting back and not trying things because we're not good at it. In this episode, Cheryl and Jennifer Ternay discuss: The first step towards building the life you want How self-care leads to better health Confronting your limitations Living an authentic life Key Takeaways: Building a life that you love starts with opening your eyes and being honest about your situation, recognizing where you are at right now in your life. Then, you've got to give yourself permission and believe that you can build a life that you love. Being healthy isn't only about being well physically, but it's also about being psychologically resilient and having a good mindset. Putting yourself out of victim mode is a huge step towards wellness. It also contributes a lot for you to always take care of yourself. Train yourself to confront your limitations. Regain your sense of adventure. Ask yourself what you would do if money didn't matter. This question gives you the permission to dream and think about what it is you want to do. Strive to live an authentic life. Give yourself permission to be the person that you truly want to be. “How do you combine having the career that you want, and having the life that you want? In this episode, Cheryl and EksAyn discuss: Aligning yourself with the golden rule The relationship between behavior and attention Being a parent is the ultimate career How simple actions lead to great results Key Takeaways: Gravity is a simple principle that will be there whether we want to or not. We can be very successful if we choose to align ourselves and our career/business with it. The same is true for the golden rule. Treating others the way that you want to be treated will get you past the gatekeepers to your success. Behaviors are like seeds and attention is water. When you focus on the things that people do wrong, it's going to multiply and amplify those behaviors. In the same way, if you focus on what people do right, you'll see a positive outcome. Being a parent is the ultimate career. Most people won't remember what their grandparents' job was, what they owned, or where they lived, but they will remember the lessons and wisdom they've imparted through words and actions. Think about the seeds that you are planting with the principles you act upon. Simple acts of compassion, empathy, and genuine care, have the potential to save a life or a marriage. It also has the potential to multiply your business' profits. Figure out principles, align with them, and do great things. “If you treat people like you want to be treated, and you come up with techniques to do it, you will go places. In this episode, Cheryl and Scott discuss: The difference between being interested and being passionate How to know your biggest, most audacious dream Why we need to know ourselves and our gifts Potential energy and kinetic energy Key Takeaways: There's a world of a difference between being interested in something and having a burning desire for it. The first step to making your dream come true is to make sure that you truly are passionate about it. Figure out the biggest, most audacious dream that you can have by giving yourself two minutes to write down all the scary things you've wanted to do. Narrow down that list to three and then choose one. Understanding ourselves is key to identifying our superpower and bringing our best selves and best gifts to work every single day. Nothing happens until you take action. By preparing, planning, and motivating yourself for your audacious goal, you've stored up potential energy. Taking action is what releases that energy and puts you in momentum toward the direction of where you want to be. “You can not outperform your self-image.” — Scott Carley Read, “Who Not How” by Dan Sullivan, Benjamin Hardy: https://www.amazon.com/Who-Not-How-Accelerating-Teamwork-ebook/dp/B0867ZJ151 Book a call with Scott by clicking on this link: https://calltheenergizer.com Connect with Scott Carley: Website: https://scottcarley.com/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/scott.carley Twitter: https://twitter.com/SACarley Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/sacarley/ Get in Touch with Cheryl: Website: www.cherylknows.com YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCwvWKXBC6fKn1dLGY11hxIg Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/dynamiteproductionsinc LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/cherylknowlton/ Show notes by Podcastologist: Justine Talla Audio production by Turnkey Podcast Productions. In this episode, Cheryl and Sheri discuss: Why we should speak to people emotionally Give yourself permission to be real Countering judgment with curiosity What is digital eq Key Takeaways: We need to understand that 90% of decisions are emotionally based. Often, we try to rationalize logically what we have already decided emotionally. Speaking with emotion starts with giving yourself permission to be more of your true self. When you make yourself available, vulnerable, and real to people, they'll want to be with you more. If you find yourself being critical of a person or find it very difficult to deal with them, you've got to practice curiosity. Before meeting the person, you've got to pause, sit down, and ask yourself what they could be going through in their life. Digital emotional intelligence is the intersection of digital influence and emotional intelligence. Invest time and effort into creating and crafting a brand that's authentic, something that's true to you, and put intentionality behind it. “The more available you are, the more curious you are, the more vulnerable you are, the more people are going to want to be with you.” — Sheri Fitts Connect with Sheri Fitts: Website: https://sherifitts.com/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/sherifitts/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/sherifitts/ YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/user/ShoeFittsMktg Get in Touch with Cheryl: Website: www.cherylknows.com YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCwvWKXBC6fKn1dLGY11hxIg Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/dynamiteproductionsinc LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/cherylknowlton/ Show notes by Podcastologist: Justine Talla Audio production by Turnkey Podcast Productions. In this episode, Cheryl discussed: Where does our identity come from? Discovering your identity through the Enneagram Leaning into your authentic self You can't love others unless and until you love yourself Key Takeaways: Our name, culture, upbringing, socioeconomic status, family dynamics and such play a part in who we are, where we came from, and who we decide we want to be in the world. The Enneagram is a system of personality typing that describes patterns in how people interpret the world and manage their emotions. It describes nine personality types and maps each of these types on a nine-pointed diagram which helps to illustrate how the types relate to one another. You don't need to morph into something or someone that you're not in order to fit in. Lean into your authentic self. Get to a point where you are able to love the person in the mirror. Remember that you can't love others if until you love yourself. It has to start with us, we have to have enough self-love that we could afford to be selfless and truly give to others. “We can't truly love others unless and until we love ourselves first. They say every year is a chance for a new beginning. But in this world full of chaos, unresolved issues, and people haunted by their own demons, what does it really mean to “look forward” in life? That's what hosts Jason Abell and Steve Scanlon are going to focus on today. From confronting your demons to making that huge leap of change, tune in to know how to create that new chapter in your life in the best way it can be! In this episode, Steve and Jason discuss the following:● Why don't we like to resolve this? ● Facing a demon ● Creating a theme for the year ● Keeping it simple Key Takeaways: ● Do you have an aversion to creating new year's resolutions? Ask yourself why and reflect on the reason. Think about something you'd want to do and imagine if failure couldn't happen. ● Whenever you commit to resolving something, expect that you're going to face a demon. ● Instead of having plans, goals, or a resolution, try having a theme for the year. Think of one word that you'd like your year's theme to be. Some good examples are “mindfulness,” “strength,” or “relationships.” ● Don't make it complicated. What's simple gets done. Create a broad picture but also keep your eye on what's the next right step towards achieving your goal. “If failure weren't even part of the equation, what would you try?” - Steve Scanlon“Simple just seems to get done.” - Jason Abell Connect with Steve and Jason:LinkedIn: Jason or SteveWebsite: Rewire, Inc.: Transformed Thinking Email: grow@rewireinc.com Show notes by Podcastologist: Justine Talla Audio production by Turnkey Podcast Productions. Those little minutes accumulate into hours and learning to be more efficient in those little things will give you more time to do important things. Get to a point where you put yourself at the top of your priority list and not at the bottom and start with what you put in your mouth. No one can control that but you and that's the beauty of it. Be disciplined. Make sure that you have enough sleep at night and therefore enough energy during the day. Surround yourself with people that you would like to emulate. Being able to practice self-control and discipline will bring you the results that you want to see in your lifestyle and health. In this episode, Cheryl and Carrie discuss: Why people get nervous in picture taking Keep your headshot updated Putting your best face forward Creating a consistent look Key Takeaways: Most people don't like having their picture taken not because they don't like looking at themselves but because they're afraid of what others are thinking about them. What you can do instead is put your attention into the things that bring you joy and smile. You have to always keep your pictures updated because it's very important for your business. Get your picture taken at least four times a year or once every quarter. You are selling yourselves, so put your very best face forward. Learning more about what kind of lighting is best for your features, what pose or angle, and what clothes best complement your skin tone and form will help you create much better pictures of yourself. Consistency in your brand is very important. Be consistent in your marketing, your business card, your email signature, and basically everything about your business that you see all the time. In this episode, Cheryl and Diana discuss: The two best platforms to post your videos on Be consistent and keep the momentum Managing videos is time-consuming The most important ingredient in videos Key Takeaways: YouTube and TikTok are the two best platforms if you want your video to last for a long time and be more searchable on google. This is especially true with YouTube since Google owns it and so whatever you search, google will always prioritize YouTube. Keep the momentum going, be consistent. Consistency breeds results and being inconsistent is in a way a kind of consistency in itself that will affect your content negatively. Managing videos is a full-time job. It's not that it's hard work, but it can be very time-consuming. Consider hiring somebody for that job so that you can spend your time working inside your zone of genius. The energy from which you create determines your creation. People will forget everything that you teach them, but they will never forget how you made them feel. They will never forget your energy. In this episode, Cheryl and Scott discuss: How experiences can serve as a catalyst Dwelling on your calling Triggers to big achievements Leaving a legacy matters Key Takeaways: Your experiences in life can serve as a trigger, a driving force for you to create transformation in your life that will change you for the better. Doing great things will require great motivation and therefore a great reason or purpose to do it. You don't choose a calling, a calling chooses you. Think back to that question of what your “why” is. You don't have to come up with an answer right away, dwell on it for a time and one day it will come. If you want to prove something or if you believe that there's a better way to do things, that desire could be a trigger for you or a motivating factor for you to pursue doing great things. Greed, power, and bounty is just another way of phrasing legacy, and that can also lead you It's not really about what you gain or achieve for yourself, it's about what legacy you create and who you become in the process of pursuing your success. “Action is what releases a miracle.” — Scott Carley Connect with Scott Carley: Website: https://scottcarley.com/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/scott.carley Twitter: https://twitter.com/SACarley Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/sacarley/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/scarley/ Get in Touch with Cheryl: Website: www.cherylknows.com YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCwvWKXBC6fKn1dLGY11hxIg Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/dynamiteproductionsinc LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/cherylknowlton/ Show notes by Podcastologist: Justine Talla Audio production by Turnkey Podcast Productions. In this episode, Cheryl and Keith discuss: Don't be a minimalist in finance Planning finances long-term Taking ownership of your finances Learning how to manage your own finances Key Takeaways: At the highest level, you want frequent statements and you want to use them effectively for ongoing decision-making. Read the statements and make decisions based on the information that you have. Don't be a minimalist. Don't settle for short-term planning, have a roadmap of where you are so that you can make intelligent decisions about where you are going. Putting out fires is necessary, but making sure they don't happen as much in the first place is the wiser thing to do. You don't have to be as skilled as an accountant or bookkeeper in order to manage your finances. You need to stop with the negative self-talk, work through your limiting beliefs, and start doing it. Don't deny it or delegate it to somebody else. Nerdwallet, investopedia, or any other wikipedia-ish type of sites for finances is a huge resource for financial management that anyone can take. Being able to manage your own finances will take some investment of time into learning more. “If we're very dedicated to managing our finances -I have a belief that you can do it in as little as 15 minutes a day - and not necessarily every day - you can master your finances.” — Keith Kohler Connect with Keith Kohler: Website: https://www.k2financing.com/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/keithkohler1/ Get in Touch with Cheryl: Website: www.cherylknows.com YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCwvWKXBC6fKn1dLGY11hxIg Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/dynamiteproductionsinc LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/cherylknowlton/ Show notes by Podcastologist: Justine Talla Audio production by Turnkey Podcast Productions. In this episode, Cheryl and Tyler discuss: Standing out amidst competitors Connecting to people through stories Storytelling is a life skill that everyone needs The fastest way for people to know, like, and trust you Key Takeaways: In a highly commoditized and competitive marketplace such as the real estate industry, it's very hard to stand out. You can differentiate yourself by telling your own unique story. People decide based on emotions. Story-telling is a great way to grab attention, invoke emotions, and serve as a mirror your audience will see themselves in. Stories connect you with people, it sets you apart. Storytelling is a skill that you need to have whatever your career is in life. It's how you will set yourself apart from others whether as a business or as an individual vying for a corporate position. People do business with someone they know, like, and trust. The fastest way for people to know, like, and trust you is through marketing yourself in video. “There's always someone out there who does the same thing that you do, probably better than you do… but there's one thing that all of those people don't have and that's your story. Practice simple service of others, let genuine gratitude grow within, and know the difference between cowardly and courageous confidence. Courageous confidence is one that comes from within and not from outward things. Remember the four pillars of the PIER: Productive, Intentional, Effective, Resilience When we take our focus off of ourselves, put it on someone else, and think instead of how we can make their life better, we are the ones that are changed. “Leadership is not a destination, it's an ongoing quest.” — Kris Barney Connect with Kris Barney:Website: https://krisbarney.com/ Email: Info@KrisBarney.com Get in Touch with Cheryl: Website: www.cherylknows.com YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCwvWKXBC6fKn1dLGY11hxIg Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/dynamiteproductionsinc LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/cherylknowlton/ Show notes by Podcastologist: Justine Talla Audio production by Turnkey Podcast Productions. In this episode, Cheryl and Robert discuss: Making a positive difference in others Listening to people and understanding them Living your own truth Nurturing relationships and being better Key Takeaways: People don't always have a good day, make it your goal for other people to have a good day because they encountered you. We need to do a better job of just listening to people and making them feel like they're being included, being seen, and being heard. Are you living your own truths once you get old enough to know the difference or are you still living the truths that were instilled to you by somebody else? Prioritize nurturing relationships and creating better relationships. Never make any person feel less than for any reason. “When you have better communication, you have better understanding and when you have better understanding, you have better tolerance.” — Robert Morris Connect with Robert Morris: Email: teamrobertmorris@gmail.com Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/RobertMorrisCRS | https://www.facebook.com/RobertMorrisSeminars LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/robertmorrisseminars/ Get in Touch with Cheryl: Website: www.cherylknows.com YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCwvWKXBC6fKn1dLGY11hxIg Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/dynamiteproductionsinc LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/cherylknowlton/ Show notes by Podcastologist: Justine Talla Audio production by Turnkey Podcast Productions. In this episode Christy and Rob discuss: Changing the mood of a room The power of expectations Sending out your order to the universe Key Takeaways: You have the power to alter the mood and the tone of a room when you walk in. That means you can either bring the mood up or down, depending on the energetic tone you're offering. Expectations are not neutral, they summon energy and are therefore very powerful. Expectations are made from an equal mix of desire and belief. Send out your order to the universe and send it out with confidence and expectation. “Understanding that your inner reality is what creates your external environment is the first important step in manifesting anything, whatever it is.” - Christy Whitman Get The Desire Factor Book at https://thedesirefactor.com/ Connect with Christy Whitman: Website: https://www.christywhitman.com/ YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChhSCDQ_U3cYtCejM9DSVJw LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/christywhitman1/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/christywhitmaninternational/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/ChristyWhitman Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/christywhitman1 Show notes by Podcastologist: Justine Talla Audio production by Turnkey Podcast Productions. In this episode, Cheryl and Gwen discuss: The beauty of being in a community Sharing your stories and insights Committing to show up as your authentic self Mastering the art of storytelling on TikTok Key Takeaways: There is power in being in a connected community. As human beings, we are wired for community, we are wired for connection, we are wired for love - it's one of our fundamental human needs. When learning new insights that have been useful and impactful to you, it's important to take the next step and share that insight with others that may need it as well, others who may be going through the same stuff that you do. If you can commit to the process of self-work, then you can commit to the process of showing up truthfully. If you can truly master the art of storytelling on TikTok, you will own your space.Take your story and cut it into five pieces, post it as individual short form content. “There were so many other women who have been told they're too loud, too dark, too big, too small… I know that in that moment, when I had that divine download, if I didn't share that with somebody, I was being selfish.” — Gwen Stewart Connect with Gwen Stewart: Website: https://www.gwenmstewart.com/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/395570130598967/ Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/shop/gwenmariestewartxo Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thesmallbizfixer/ Get in Touch with Cheryl: Website: www.cherylknows.com YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCwvWKXBC6fKn1dLGY11hxIg Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/dynamiteproductionsinc LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/cherylknowlton/ Show notes by Podcastologist: Justine Talla Audio production by Turnkey Podcast Productions. In this episode, Cheryl discussed: How your story can benefit the world Giving yourself permission to be honest People are responsible for their own actions You are enough Key Takeaways: Your stories of brokenness empower and give comfort to those who suffer similar things. Give yourself permission to be honest about your current life's situation. If it sucks, it sucks. Awareness is the first step towards better change. You can't control how others react towards you and that means that though you can create an environment where it would be easier for a person to behave in a certain way, you are not responsible for other people's actions. People are responsible for their own actions. You are enough. You didn't stop being enough when you experienced brokenness, you remained enough and always will be. “I came to the conclusion that I deserve to be loved, that I am loveable, I am enough. I am enough right now - broken, flawed, divorced, at that time overweight… I came to learn that my children and I deserve to be safe. And so do you.” — Cheryl Knowlton Get in Touch with Cheryl: Website: www.cherylknows.com YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCwvWKXBC6fKn1dLGY11hxIg Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/dynamiteproductionsinc LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/cherylknowlton/ Show notes by Podcastologist: Justine Talla Audio production by Turnkey Podcast Productions. In this episode Christy and Rob discuss: Comparing lives with others on social media Turning comparison into inspiration What lack and limitation does to our life Key Takeaways: Competing and comparing happens full blown in social media since people often post the high points of their lives. So whenever you look in your social media feed, you'll see that everybody around you seems to be living their best life. When you see somebody succeed, especially in something that's related to your dream, be happy for them. Use their story as an inspiration, as an encouragement that you can do it too! Lack and limitation never feels good. When looking at other people's lives makes us feel like we're not enough, our creativity and joy is constricted. WE don't get to enjoy life. “We could have everything that we have in our lives, we just have to believe it so and start to focus on that.” - Christy Whitman Get The Desire Factor Book at https://thedesirefactor.com/ Connect with Christy Whitman: Website: https://www.christywhitman.com/ YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChhSCDQ_U3cYtCejM9DSVJw LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/christywhitman1/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/christywhitmaninternational/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/ChristyWhitman Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/christywhitman1 Show notes by Podcastologist: Justine Talla Audio production by Turnkey Podcast Productions. In this episode Christy and The Council discuss: Understanding the signals The origin of anxiety Channeling compassion Key Takeaways: We all have a different approach to anxiety, most people do something that will remove it but there is a more effective approach than just suppressing. By understanding that anxiety is information that something is going under the surface, you'll be able to shift the energy into abundance and light. There are two reasons why you feel anxiety in your life. First, it's because an emotion that must be expressed is being suppressed and second, it's not because you focus on the past but because you project into the future. Channel the energy of compassion. Imagine that feeling you have for a beloved child or a beloved pet, give yourself that kind of love and compassion. Step into your divine design of wellbeing. “You have to start getting in tune with energy. It's not the mind that directs the energy, it's the energy that directs all. In this episode, Cheryl and Robert Kennedy discuss: A leader's full time job The beginning of confidence Articulating your personal mission The potential of stories for impact and insights Key Takeaways: Maintaining retention in employees in the organization is a leader's full time job. The best way to build trust and to create a connection is through stories and it involves vulnerability and honesty. If you find yourself not being able to share information because you believe that you lack confidence, you have to go within and find a desire to change. The beginning of confidence is courage. Don't just allow the day to pull you, instead, have a direction for your day. Define what is your personal mission and articulate it. You have to see it in front of you. One story holds so much potential for impact and insights. You might be telling a story with your own insights attached to it and your audience could take away something completely different but equally valuable. “Communication is more about transformation than information. Because if I'm sharing information to you and then you walk away and do nothing with it… We had a moment where words were exchanged or some breath came out of my mouth but it was worthless.” — Robert Kennedy Connect with Robert Kennedy: Website: https://robertkennedy3.com/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/robertkennedyiii Twitter: https://twitter.com/robertkennedy3 Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/robertkennedy3/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/robertkennedy3 YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/robertkennedy3 Resource Mentioned: Mission Statement Builder, www.franklincovey.com/msb Get in Touch with Cheryl: Website: www.cherylknows.com YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCwvWKXBC6fKn1dLGY11hxIg Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/dynamiteproductionsinc LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/cherylknowlton/ Show notes by Podcastologist: Justine Talla Audio production by Turnkey Podcast Productions. In this episode Christy and Rob discuss: Blaming will cause you to spiral deeper Acknowledge that you are in control Realigning your focus and preparing your vibration Key Takeaways: When you're caught off-guard, difficult people can hijack your inner peace and affect your energy. Don't blame them though, because you'll spiral even deeper negatively. If you are to have any control over your own experience, you have to acknowledge that you and you alone are in control of your vibration. You have the power and the right to turn your focus away from difficult people. Make it a habit to change your mood and prepare your vibration in advance. “They can broadcast a discordant signal but you're the one who chooses to tune into that signal or not. In this episode Christy discussed: Three practices to expand your energy Our natural design The purpose of low-level emotions Key Takeaways: Get your energy moving, do whatever raises your vibration. Watch your words, they gain momentum. Practice gratitude, it's the highest vibration in all of the universe. Resistance is a conditioned response. We were all born into the world open to every possible expression of wellbeing, abundance, and joy - in direct communication with the unlimited energy of the universe. Low level emotions exist to inform us that we are off-course, that we are not in alignment with the creation of our desires. The way out of resistance is acceptance. Slow down the momentum, then turn around. “If you wanna attract different frequencies and experiences in your life, you must expand your capacity to receive - your allowing meter.” - Christy Whitman Get The Desire Factor Book at https://thedesirefactor.com/ Connect with Christy Whitman: Website: https://www.christywhitman.com/ YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChhSCDQ_U3cYtCejM9DSVJw LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/christywhitman1/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/christywhitmaninternational/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/ChristyWhitman Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/christywhitman1 Show notes by Podcastologist: Justine Talla Audio production by Turnkey Podcast Productions. In this episode Christy and Rob discuss: Simple meditation technique Benefits of meditation How meditation helps with manifestation Key Takeaways: Sit comfortably in a place that is quiet for you. Close your eyes and start breathing naturally - focus all your attention on your breath. Meditate for as long or as short as you want. Meditation promotes better sleep, reduces stress and anxiety, improves symptoms of depression, relieves pain, boosts memory, sharpens focus, and supports cardiovascular health. Meditation will help you get your mind off the past and into the present and put your attention into the energy you want rather than that of others. “Meditation is all about training your attention to become one-pointed. In this episode Christy and Rob discuss: A miraculous tool that everyone can use When visualization kicks in Recognizing the contrast Key Takeaways: Imagination is a miraculous tool that transports us to the powerful invisible realm of pure potentiality. It is a tool that absolutely everyone can use. Visualization kicks in once you've realized a higher possibility for some part of your life. Every desire begins with the acknowledgement of discontent. We know what we don't want, the contrast causes us to give birth to a desire. “Imagination and visualization are both tools that allow us to connect in that hidden world of energy and vibration, which is the birthplace of all tangible manifestation.” - Christy Whitman Become a master of energy by clicking on this link: https://quantumenergymastery.com/ Get The Desire Factor Book at https://thedesirefactor.com/ Connect with Christy Whitman: Website: https://www.christywhitman.com/ YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChhSCDQ_U3cYtCejM9DSVJw LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/christywhitman1/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/christywhitmaninternational/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/ChristyWhitman Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/christywhitman1 Show notes by Podcastologist: Justine Talla Audio production by Turnkey Podcast Productions. In this episode Christy and The Council discuss: Dancing with the divine Focusing your energy on emotions Taking the next step Key Takeaways: You are dancing with the divine, and as a human being with free will and choice, you have a role to fill. Your role cannot be done for you, or unto you. Allow yourself to feel. Focus on your emotions, feel the pulsation of energy that's there without telling a story in your mind about it. Then, pour it out. After surrendering, fill it with something else and something higher. You release and pour out to make room for the light and love. “Your divine is putting hands out for you, and wants you to surrender everything that is not of love.” - The Council Check out Quantum Light Shifts by clicking on this link: https://www.christywhitman.com/quantum-light-shifts Get The Desire Factor Book at https://thedesirefactor.com/ Connect with Christy Whitman: Website: https://www.christywhitman.com/ YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChhSCDQ_U3cYtCejM9DSVJw LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/christywhitman1/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/christywhitmaninternational/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/ChristyWhitman Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/christywhitman1 Show notes by Podcastologist: Justine Talla Audio production by Turnkey Podcast Productions. In this episode Christy and Rob discuss: Withdrawing your energy Connecting with your essence Flowing towards appreciation Key Takeaways: Withdraw your energy from people and projects that drain and depress you. Assess everything and everyone that you're engaged in - do they inspire you, uplift you, or drain you? Give yourself permission to let go. Use meditation and conscious breathing to connect with your spiritual essence, ground yourself. Decide that this day is your “joy day” or “gratitude day”. Flow your energy in the direction of appreciation, one of the most attractive and replenishing vibrations in the entire universe.
