In this episode, Chabidaye discuss:The S.T.R.E.S.S framework to utilize when you feel stressedListening to and challenging your negative thoughts Sharing your struggle with others Setting boundaries and creating good habits Key Takeaways:The best thing you can do when you feel overwhelmed, frustrated, or stressed is to get up and walk away. Take a few minutes off. Change the environment you're in. Seek out the sunlight, have a cup of coffee, and walk around. Do anything you can to change your environment at the moment. Listen to your thoughts and challenge each one of them. Ask yourself what actions you can take or what you can start doing to improve your situation. Share your situation with your trusted people. By talking things through, you might realize what your next steps could be. You might even gain a better perspective once you hear what other people think or even discover solutions that got others through a similar situation. Be mindful of your energy when you feel stressed. Raise your energy by going for a walk, doing some exercise, or listening to music. Do the things that lift you up and make you feel better. It will help you think of possible solutions to the stress you're feeling. When you see stress invading your thoughts and shifting your day, then practice the framework and take back control. Recognize the impact that this stressor has on your overall life and your ability to focus on your priorities. Overcome the stress and go back to the things that you had planned for that day. When you hit moments of stress, you fall back automatically on your habits. If you form good habits, then you can get back up quickly out of stress. In this episode, Chabidaye discuss:The five reasons why resolutions fail The three elements of habit creation The power of habits High-performance habits Key Takeaways:Resolutions fail because they often lack clarity, are usually focused on the outcome, and are only concerned with surface-level behavior instead of underlying habits. They are also usually pursued in isolation and don't take emotional factors into account. The cue triggers the behavior that makes the brain reorganize itself and create neural pathways which leads to dopamine rewarding the person with positive feelings. This process creates a habit loop and makes habits eventually become automatic. Habits are powerful! They are automated, created through consistency, form positive routines, instill resilience, and are the building blocks to creating positive outcomes or changes in your life. Here are the five high-performance habits: clarity, productivity, energy, influence, and courage. These habits are proven to be effective in the lives of many of the world's best high-performing people. "Consistency builds momentum. Small daily actions are going to compound over time." — Chabidaye Jaglal Ramnath CONNECT WITH CHABIDAYE:Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/chabidaye.ramnath.3Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/chabidaye/Website: https://leadandlift.com/LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/chabidayejaglalramnath/ Show notes by Podcastologist: Justine Talla Audio production by Turnkey Podcast Productions. In this episode, Chabidaye discuss:Start with one stepEnroll others in your vision Get into a rhythm of repetition Vision provides clarity Be empowered, empower others Key Takeaways:Whatever dream or goal you have in mind, no matter how big or small it is, start it. Lay down the foundation and build upon it as you go. If you keep going, you're going to create momentum. Enrolling others in the journey will not only make the journey more enjoyable and more efficient, it will also bring growth for you and the people that you enroll. Repetition builds skills because they become a habit. Once a habit has been created, it becomes automatic and will take less time, energy, and effort to keep doing. Having a vision will help you by giving you clarity on what impact you desire to create with your words, behavior, energy, and goals. When you feel empowered, you become unstoppable. Things take time, but when you have clarity and empowerment, nothing can stop you from reaching what it is you want to achieve. "If you find people around you who are going through something similar or they've been through that already and they're a little further on the journey, you find that it makes the journey a little bit more beautiful because you know that you can get through it." — Chabidaye Jaglal Ramnath CONNECT WITH CHABIDAYE:Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/chabidaye.ramnath.3Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/chabidaye/Website: https://leadandlift.com/LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/chabidayejaglalramnath/ Show notes by Podcastologist: Justine Talla Audio production by Turnkey Podcast Productions. In this episode, Chabidaye discuss:Stop and let go More of what you love Start something new Measures are your GPS Key Takeaways:Let go of all the things that no longer serve you. Declutter your workspace as well as your mind. Identify the things that you don't serve you, write them down, and commit to changing them in the upcoming year. The goal is to keep and increase the things that you loved having and experiencing this year. Filling your time with more of the things that you love will help you become more grateful and happier. Ask yourself this question: “if I had more courage, what would I start doing?” Take what you have in mind, step out in faith and courage, and make that thing a reality. A lot of New Year's resolutions fail because people set goals, but don't set measures. If you set measures and make yourself accountable to them, then you can protect yourself from slipping back into how you were before."[Cultivate] gratitude of the highs and lows… The highs gave us wins and accomplishments, which we celebrated. The lows taught us important lessons, which we need to be successful." — Chabidaye Jaglal Ramnath CONNECT WITH CHABIDAYE:Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/chabidaye.ramnath.3Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/chabidaye/Website: https://leadandlift.com/LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/chabidayejaglalramnath/ Show notes by Podcastologist: Justine Talla Audio production by Turnkey Podcast Productions. In this episode, Chabidaye discusses:The real problem with work-life balance Setting boundaries for balance Making your habits serve you Discovering your priority and creating harmony Key Takeaways:Work-life balance is not really a balance issue. The issue is that we have no boundaries and we let activities bleed into all other aspects of life. Shift your perspective from balancing hours to introducing boundaries for your work time, your family time, and your personal time. Measure yourself on each key area. Our habits shape most of our actions during the day. If your habits are not supporting you, then know that you have the power to change them and you must change them if you truly do want to create the balance that you want in your life. Knowing your top priority will help you make decisions in your life that are aligned with that. Being congruent with what matters in your heart will make you feel happier with yourself because you will feel that you are doing the thing that you need to do. "People say they don't have time. About Eunicia Peret: Are you worried that you are not “building wealth fast enough” or that your financial plan may not be enough to secure your future? Perhaps you hear the same strategies year after year when you file your taxes and are wondering “How do the ultra-wealthy pay limited to no taxes”? Eunicia Peret brings to awareness The Power of Leveraging Your Financial Team to maximize your income streams and pay fewer taxes. She has seen enough to know that without the proper strategies, everything else is just tactics in motion. In this episode, Chabidaye and Eunicia discuss:Blindspots and pitfalls in finances How to gain financial freedom The importance of alignment in finances Finding and fixing financial leakages Key Takeaways:There are a lot of ways individuals can get robbed of their money that the financial services industry doesn't address because they are not incentivized to talk about it.The key to gaining freedom and peace of mind is to address the problems and look into those blindspots and money-stealing mistakes. By doing that, you'll be able to gain a level of awareness and comfort.Financial management goes beyond just merely knowing where to put your money, but also in how aligned and connected you feel with the decisions that you make. Assess the money that's coming in and see where it's going. If we can identify where the financial leakages are, then we can redeploy them for our own financial gain, thus relieving some of those fears. "Let's unpack those concerns and figure out what is driving them because those concerns, coupled with a wrong financial strategy, will do nothing more than continue to perpetuate those feelings of fear [and] uncertainty." — Eunicia Peret Connect with Eunicia Peret: Website: https://www.podcast.excelstra.comLinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/euniciaperet/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/empoweredfinancialplannerInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/euniciaperet/YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@ExcelstraOfficial CONNECT WITH CHABIDAYE:Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/chabidaye.ramnath.3Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/chabidaye/Website: https://leadandlift.com/LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/chabidayejaglalramnath/ Show notes by Podcastologist: Justine Talla Audio production by Turnkey Podcast Productions. In this episode, Chabidaye discuss:Starting with self-leadershipManaging your time, priorities, and energyClearing your open tabs of thought Thinking before you speak Key Takeaways:Start by leading yourself. Make better choices by thinking how a leader does and develop a better attitude. When you are in a bad situation or bad environment, you can either become influenced by the environment or choose to influence the environment by choosing to be different.Manage your time, manage your priorities, and manage your energy. Don't waste your time with agenda-less meetings. Set goals and organize tasks by priorities. Give updates to your boss and remember to always be mindful of the energy you give out. Keep a notebook with you. As things come up during the day, write them down so that you can let those thoughts go. Keep your head clear and make some room in your mind. Take a pause, take a minute or two, and think about what message you want to convey so that when you open your mouth to speak, you'll be able to say it very succinctly. Don't waste time with excuses, instead, take ownership. "Remember, good leadership is like a ray of sunshine, and it gets noticed the most after a rainy day. In this episode, Chabidaye discuss:Top five things that drain your confidence Competence-confidence loopSurrounding yourself with encouraging people and positive thoughts The most important step to take Key Takeaways:Here are the top five things that drain your confidence: comparison with others, the fear of rejection and judgment, lack of skill and preparation, an unsupportive environment, and negative self-talk.Create a foundation for your confidence built out of knowledge and skills. There is what is called a competence-confidence loop, it's rooted in psychology and human development. The idea is that gaining competence can lead to increased confidence and vice-versa. Surround yourself with individuals who encourage your growth and have a similar or same goal. While we get rid of toxic thoughts, let's introduce positive ones. Find affirmations that uplift you and take a little pride in yourself. The most important step to take is to take action. By taking action, you can gain mastery. Before you can have confidence, you need to have the courage to take the first step. Your confidence grows when you confront your fears. In this episode, Chabidaye discuss:Leadership is all about developing relationshipsPeople gravitate toward leaders who winHelping your team members grow into their potentialThe pinnacle of leadership Key Takeaways:You're going to want to move out of the first level of leadership as quickly as you can by building and developing relationships with the team around you. Without relationships, you will only get compliance and not cooperation. People will only follow you to the extent of what's written on their job description, and that's it.By developing your relationship with your team and with people from other departments as well, you'll be able to succeed in your goals. People will see your success and they will want to be in your team.Anyone in a leadership role has the power to either put down a team member or lift them up. Be a leader who sees people's strengths, lifts them up, and helps them grow into their potential. The fifth level is the highest level of leadership and it's something that might take your entire life to reach. The fifth level is when people follow you for who you are and what you represent. "The first step in developing your leadership abilities is recognizing you are a leader and working on personal development so that you can lead yourself first." — Chabidaye Jaglal Ramnath CONNECT WITH CHABIDAYE:Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/chabidaye.ramnath.3Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/chabidaye/Website: https://leadandlift.com/LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/chabidayejaglalramnath/ Show notes by Podcastologist: Justine Talla Audio production by Turnkey Podcast Productions. In this episode, Chabidaye discuss:How your growth affects othersWhen should you start taking leadership seriously?Growing faster and more effectively through coachingTaking responsibility for your team's growthKey Takeaways:People become what they see in you. If you are not growing and investing in yourself, then the team will also not grow. That's when performance issues start popping up. Simple issues that could've been resolved immediately become one big fire that spreads throughout the organization.Leadership is influence and if you are influencing somebody right now, then you are already a leader. Don't wait until you get the title or position, commit to becoming a better leader now.It is more effective and more enjoyable to take the journey of growth with a coach and a community. You need someone to keep you in check, keep you accountable to your commitment, keep you on track toward improvement, and measure your growth so that you know that you are getting somewhere, while also helping you maintain your relationship with your family. The greatest benefit of creating a truly efficient, high-performing, and reliable team is that you'll be able to safely delegate tasks and trust them. This will improve the overall process of your team."Step into that power and start learning how to be a good leader. So that when you get that opportunity, when someone believes in you and taps you on the shoulder for that role, you can shine in that role, and you can lift your team." — Chabidaye Jaglal Ramnath CONNECT WITH CHABIDAYE:Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/chabidaye.ramnath.3Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/chabidaye/Website: https://leadandlift.com/LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/chabidayejaglalramnath/ Show notes by Podcastologist: Justine Talla Audio production by Turnkey Podcast Productions. In this episode, Chabidaye discuss:High-performance success Creating progress to build momentum Do you want to survive or thrive? You have enough time Key Takeaways: High-performance coaching is about creating systems of self-improvement so that you can reach your meaning of success while also being able to have a deeper and closer relationship with the people that you love. Ask yourself this question: “What is the next right move for me?” Having clarity enables you to take action. Without clarity, you'll find yourself stuck in procrastination and inaction. We are faced with two choices at every moment: do you want to survive? Or do you want to be extraordinary? The journey to becoming extraordinary is to learn and grow so that you are able to deal with life's problems more effectively and that you are able to move beyond those. Everybody has dreams, but most feel like they are locked out of opportunity because they are too busy. You have the same amount of hours as everybody else. The problem isn't that you don't have enough time, the problem is that you do not yet know how to utilize your time effectively in order to achieve what you want. "If I can help my clients take that next step, they make progress. And with progress, they build momentum, and they start moving faster eventually.." — Chabidaye Jaglal Ramnath CONNECT WITH CHABIDAYE:Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/chabidaye.ramnath.3Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/chabidaye/Website: https://leadandlift.com/LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/chabidayejaglalramnath/ Show notes by Podcastologist: Justine Talla Audio production by Turnkey Podcast Productions. Without health, your emotional and skill growth would be all for nothing. Be willing to learn and grow, sharpen your tools through training and education. One of the areas which would always need sharpening is your financial knowledge. You have to know how to budget, save, and prepare for retirement. Be clear about who you are and what your purpose is. Invest time, money, and effort into your own growth. Then, impart the gift you've gained to others. That's when you go from growth-zone to glory-zone. Step back and ask yourself, “what's the next best thing I can do right now?” The next question you can ask yourself is, “what lesson can I learn from this right now?” Lastly, ask yourself, “what can I still be grateful for despite all that's happening?” "When you get into your zone of glory, where you are teaching and coaching and expelling the knowledge and the resources that you have gained to someone else. She is an engaging Tedx Speaker and has also delivered keynote speeches for corporates and leadership programs worldwide. In this episode, Chabidaye and Natalie discuss: Why you should listen to your emotions The negative effect of suppressing your emotionsThe power of emotions to uplift or drain A leader's responsibility to manage emotionsKey Takeaways:We need to be in touch with our emotions because they exist for a reason. Emotions are there to tell us something, they want to send us a message, and we have to listen in order to help ourselves progress forward. Emotions need to be addressed as feelings turn into emotions, emotions turn into our mood, and our mood impacts the way we show up during the day. When they are suppressed, they create a compounding effect of stress that's built up inside. Sometimes, this built-up stress manifests as physical ailments and chronic pain. Emotions, whether draining or uplifting, don't merely stay inside of us - they impact the people around us. Energy-draining emotions can rot us from the inside when unaddressed, and they can also infect other people. In the same way, our positive emotions have the power to lift others up. You have a responsibility as a leader to create a safe space for emotions within the team. However, working with emotions begin with working on yourself - it starts with you. As she saw first-hand that personal growth must be intentional yet not always available to everyone. She is dedicating her life's work to creating a safe environment while educating, empowering, and spreading knowledge about Personal Development. In this episode, Chabidaye and Ernelita discuss:What is confidence? Three sources of courageSecrets for growing your confidenceHow vulnerability inspires othersKey Takeaways:Confidence is not a personality trait, it's not something that's purely innate in somebody. Confidence is a skill that can be learned, trained, and improved. If you need courage, here are three things that you can draw courage from: faith in yourself, faith that is given to you by others, or faith in a higher power. Having somebody that believes in you and using their faith as a reason to be courageous is a good starting point for being confident. Whenever you have an intuitive idea, thought, or dream, do it. Also, you have to do your best not to negotiate with yourself as it will cause you to not take action. Celebrate yourself with something simple. Lastly, take action. Some people think that being vulnerable would make you look weak, but actually, by being authentic and showing your vulnerability while also being a good example of a resilient person, you'll be able to inspire others to do the same. People will look at you and would want to keep moving despite all that they are going through. Change is inevitable, but transitions are all about the journey. Don't be stuck in the same chapter of your life. Step into your confidence, and face the journey boldly. Don't give up. If you give up on a book halfway, you'll never see how the plot thickens or how a character develops. A good trick to finding out what your core values in life are is to become aware of your feelings when you become upset. What was it that made you upset? Was it disrespect, injustice, or a lack of compassion? Knowing the reason behind the reaction will help you discover what's truly important to you. Transition has a beautiful story to tell in your life. You have so much to learn, so much to experience, there are so many more chapters in your life that are still waiting to be read. So don't close your book. Don't stop dreaming. Find the courage to believe. Don't hold yourself back. "Understand that there is a purpose and there is a process. In this episode, Chabidaye and Natalie discuss:Why it's important to address your emotionsStart with leading yourselfStrategies for dealing with emotionsHow to create an emotionally-healthy workplace culture Key Takeaways:Emotions tend to get ignored. However, turning your face away from it won't make it go away. When emotions are not addressed, they have the power to set the tone and the energy for the rest of the day and for the days beyond that.In order for you to lead with emotions effectively, you've got to first be a good leader to yourself. Having good self-leadership starts with awareness and a willingness to be honest. When you acknowledge an emotion and are able to label it, the intensity of it goes down. Time-box your emotions, address them today so that you won't take them with you tomorrow. Lastly, remember that “negative” emotions drain your energy but they have a purpose and they can be channeled into creating something positive.Growing an emotional culture starts with the leader. They must set the norm by being honest and giving people a space to be themselves and discuss their emotions. About Amanda Bedell: Amanda Bedell has spent more than fifteen years in the marketing and public relations fields working with multimillion-dollar organizations. In between, she built a bakery from a farmer's market booth to a retail shop to a manufacturing facility employing fifteen people. Through a series of decisions over six years, she exited the bakery, defeated and exhausted. From that experience of business failure, combined with her marketing experience, BCC Business Consulting was born. She now helps business owners beyond the start-up phase and experiencing tighter than anticipated resources after building for five years or more. Usually, these business owners are antsy about getting a return on their investment and worried about their financial future. Their relationships are strained, and they are exhausted, burned out, and about ready to throw in the towel. She is a graduate of the 10,000 Small Businesses program through Goldman Sachs and Babson College and has an MBA from Western Governors University. As a sorter of business chaos, Amanda offers her simple-to-use process to bring clarity and focus to business owners who want to write themselves bigger paychecks and take vacations without cash flow anxiety and endless calls from staff. If you'd like to see $150,000 or more hit your income statement in 90 to 120 days, you “better call Amanda.”In this episode, Chabidaye and Amanda discuss:Five-part framework for creating a successful businessGoing back to the purpose of your marketingSuccess leaves clues Protecting your #1 investment Key Takeaways:It's important that you apply the 80/20 rule by considering what is that thing that's going to give you the biggest return on your time, energy, and money. Look for two or three things that you do and just focus on them relentlessly, then, everything will fall into place. The marketing technique that might work for others might not work for you. You've got to shift the perspective back to the purpose of your marketing and take a look at how you can do something different to produce a better result. Find a mentor, someone who does what we want to do, someone who sees the grander picture of where you are going. Mentors and coaches will help us to set big, audacious goals and help us keep track and keep it consistent. Protect your investment, protect yourself. When you hire a coach or seek mentorship, you're investing in your growth and in your continuous success. In this episode, Chabidaye and Sara discuss:What is burnout, and how does it happen? Getting yourself unstuck from toxic cyclesHow people can help you gain progressStepping into your confidence Key Takeaways:Burnout happens when ambition takes over a person's life until it becomes unhealthy and unmanageable. It doesn't come from just one decision, but from the daily choices that one makes. In this episode, Chabidaye discussed:Asking for help Coaching, clarity, and champions Timelines and teamsDream bigger dreams Key Takeaways:We've got to open our eyes to the people around us. If you share the dreams and the goals that you're trying to achieve, you'll find people who can help you get there. All you've got to do is ask. Getting coached takes less time and makes better use of every time spent doing what you have to do to succeed in what you want by providing guidance and clarity. When you have timelines attached to your goals, you can better identify the tasks you need to accomplish. Focus on what you're good at and delegate the rest of the tasks to others better suited to handling them. Dream bigger dreams, don't limit yourself. Share your dreams with people and let them in on your journey to get there and you will surely get there. "You don't have to chase your goals alone anymore. In this episode, Chabidaye discussed:Reflecting on your wins and removing distractionsReevaluating your plans and pivoting Delegating to others and automating your process The time to relax Key Takeaways:Reflect on your wins and consider the practices, habits, and methods that helped you get to that success. Remove the things that hold you back or distract you from doing your best. Your plan at the beginning of the year was your best idea at the time, but now that you're further into the year and have gone through a lot of changes, it's time to reconsider and reevaluate your plan. You don't have to do everything yourself. Delegate the work that are outside your zone of genius to people who can do it better and faster or figure out how you can automate some parts of your process. There really is a time for everything and now is the time to relax. Think about how you could celebrate the progress that you've made these last three months and reconnect with your “why” or your purpose in order for you to come into the next quarter re-energized. He is dedicated to helping his clients increase their leads and sales, and believes that email is one of the most cost-effective marketing tools for solopreneurs and small business owners. In this episode, Chabidaye and Rob discuss:How to enhance your writing with AI toolsThe limitations of ChatGPT and AI tools Getting over mental blocks when writing email sequencesDone is better than perfect Key Takeaways:In order to use ChatGPT in the most effective and most responsible way, you've got to use it and let its responses spark ideas in your head then run with those and create your content the way that you do. ChatGPT can't replicate your personality and it doesn't know your people. Therefore it is unable to tailor-fit your content to your audience in the way that you can. You are the expert when it comes to your people. Change the way you look at writing an email sequence. See it not as this burdensome thing but as a conversation chopped up into multiple segments. Done is better than perfect. The only way to get better at writing is to keep writing. Don't let your ideas stay hidden in your head, write them down and spread them out even in their imperfect form. We've got to bring celebration and gratitude in the front and center of our awareness so that we could live a more joyful life.We have to redefine what the word celebrate means and bring it into the tiniest moments of our lives. We need to invest our time, energy, love, thoughtfulness, and gratitude into relationships because they will not always be there.People want to feel that they are being seen and heard and that they are loved for who they are. In this episode, Chabidaye and Melissa discuss:The cause of chronic illnesses Making your body inhospitable to diseaseHow stress affects your health True healing can only be done by you Key Takeaways:We live in a world that is surrounded by man-made chemical toxins. They enter our body through our water, airways, food, etc. They overburden our livers and end up causing chronic illnesses. Most of your health outcomes are a result of the environment that you create inside of your physical body and mental body. When you master your thoughts and emotions and control the toxins going into your body, you can create a body that's inhospitable to disease. Stress affects the health of your gut, it negatively impacts your sleep leading to your brain and your body not being able to heal effectively overnight. We also start to have lower energy leading to less productivity during the day. True healing is not done by anyone else, it's done by you with a guide. Having a guide is critical because the body doesn't heal in a stressed-out state. Relax, trust in the process, and from there, your body can heal. "Don't wait to get sick, take proactive action. For those that are already in it. I want you to know that your chronic illness doesn't have to be the way it is for the rest of your life. You can recover from it, but we have to address it in all four bodies and remove the toxins." — Melissa Deally Discover your toxic load for free by clicking on this link and taking the quiz: https://bit.ly/mytoxicload Connect with Melissa Deally: Website: https://www.yourguidedhealthjourney.com Linktree: https://linktr.ee/yourguidedhealthjourney CONNECT WITH CHABIDAYE:Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/chabidaye.ramnath.3Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/chabidaye/Website: https://leadandlift.com/LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/chabidayejaglalramnath/ Show notes by Podcastologist: Justine Talla Audio production by Turnkey Podcast Productions. In this episode, Chabidaye discussed:Time is your most valuable and scarce resource Work from your calendar not from a to-do list The secret to having a clearer mind Meetings should be a last resort Key Takeaways:Time is your most scarce resource. Put your day into perspective. The moment you wake up, you have 1440 minutes left. Utilize each one well. Whenever you waste time, you cheat no one but yourself. Work from your calendar, not from a to-do list. You'll always have to add more, no matter how much you accomplish from your to-do list. You'll end up feeling like you're not accomplishing anything. Always carry a notebook and a pen. Write things down when thoughts come up. Dump all the noise your brain generates so you can be calm and clear in other situations. Schedule and attend meetings only as a last resort. Resort to having meetings when all other forms of communication won't work. "A total of 1440 minutes… how you spend those minutes is critical. In this episode, Chabidaye and Ashley discuss:Perfecting your business Systems and processes that work Mindset can make or break your businessDon't DIY your inner work Key Takeaways:Perfectionism can paralyze you when launching a business. You have to launch it and accept that it will be imperfect at the beginning then commit to perfecting your business through improvement and adjustment. As we learn, grow, and experiment in our businesses, we need to keep track of the processes, methods, and systems that work and slowly establish our own guardrails in order to reinforce growth and sustainability in our business. Prioritize connection. It's not always going to be efficient, but it's always going to be worth it. To create a positive culture, you need to encourage an open environment where people can speak freely, teach people to read each others' needs, and always be open to listening to them. Building connections in the workplace doesn't have to be complicated, you just need to be intentional and consistent. Connect to people in simple ways, include them in the building of a culture of connection, and strive to always connect with people in a unique way. People in the world right now are in a dark room, looking for something. Your gift is the light that will take them to where they want to go and find what they need to find. In this episode, Chabidaye discussed:Solve problems and overcome obstaclesLean on others Keeping yourself focused on the vision The opportunity to evolve through problems Key Takeaways:Every problem has a solution. When problems occur, slow down and discuss them with your family or team, and ask questions. Once you've overcome a problem, celebrate with the team. Lean on others, you're not meant to solve a problem on your own. The solution to the problem is already in the room, it's already in your team members. Someone just has to bring it out of them. Remind yourself that the problem is just a temporary setback on the journey. It's a piece of a puzzle for you to solve. Keep yourself focused on the vision. Each time you solve a problem, you will become better. People around you will know that they can count on you to get the job done. Opportunities will open up. Your skillset and confidence will grow. "You've been thinking about problems the wrong way. They are opportunities in disguise to make you stronger." — Chabidaye Jaglal Ramnath CONNECT WITH CHABIDAYE:Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/chabidaye.ramnath.3Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/leadandlift/Website: https://leadandlift.com/LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/chabidayejaglalramnath/ Show notes by Podcastologist: Justine Talla Audio production by Turnkey Podcast Productions. In this episode, Chabidaye discussed:Focus on your goals Taking action and holding yourself accountable Celebrating your wins along the wayMaking use of your 24 hours Key Takeaways:Look at your goals as your list of things that you want to accomplish, and pick one thing that you want to get done by the end of the year. Share the one thing with someone so they can hold you accountable. Then identify the actions that you need to take, the small goals within the big goal that you need to accomplish in order to get things done. Once you've laid out your plan, it's only a matter of doing it. Celebrate your wins and progress. Even little progress is worth celebrating. Plan for a celebration once you've completed your tasks. We have 80 days left in the year. We all have the same 24 hours given to us that we can choose to spend either thinking about doing what we want to do or actually doing it and contributing to progress. "You've been thinking for the past nine months about doing something, you've been watching your goals. Well, it is time to act now. It's time to stop learning and thinking, and to actually start doing. If you don't get started, remember, you'll never get to the end." — Chabidaye Jaglal Ramnath CONNECT WITH CHABIDAYE: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/chabidaye.ramnath.3Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/leadandlift/Website: https://leadandlift.com/LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/chabidayejaglalramnath/Show notes by Podcastologist: Justine TallaAudio production by Turnkey Podcast Productions.
