Ein Standpunkt von Wolfgang Effenberger.Trotz weitestgehend gemeinsamer Herkunft aus dem Mutterland England waren die Bewohner der britischen Kolonien in Nordamerika im Jahr 1763 - wirtschaftlich und politisch betrachtet - kein homogenes Volk.(1)Die 1,6 Millionen Einwohner der 13 britischen Kolonien einte der gemeinsame Kampf gegen äußere Feinde - Indianer und Franzosen - und die wechselseitigen Beziehungen im wirtschaftlichen, sozialen, kulturellen und geistigen Bereich. Unterschiede bestanden zwischen den drei großen Siedlungsregionen. Während sich in den nördlichen Kolonien der freibäuerliche Besitz entwickelte, waren die Mittelkolonien(2) mehr aristokratisch und handelskapitalistisch geprägt. Dagegen produzierten die Südkolonien(3) auf den Plantagen der Großgrundbesitzer mit Hilfe der Sklaven und auch der weißen Zwangsarbeiter die typischen »Kolonialwaren« - Tabak, Reis, Weizen, Indigo und Baumwolle.Beträchtlich waren jedoch die Unterschiede zwischen den Kolonisten der Ostküste und den Grenzsiedlern sowie den Wohlhabenden und der breiten Masse. Während die "Whigs" von 1680 bis in die Mitte des 19. Jahrhunderts Gegner der konservativen und monarchietreuen Tories im britischen Parlament waren und in den nordamerikanischen Kolonien parlamentarische Provinzregierungen forderten, strebten die "Tories" eine autoritäre Regierungsform an. Doch in den Kolonien dürfte alle das Streben nach größtmöglicher individueller Freiheit geeint haben.Der 1763 beendete "Indian War" - in Deutschland auch als "Siebenjähriger Krieg" bezeichnet(4), hatte auf der einen Seite das Selbstbewusstsein der britischen Kolonisten erhöht, auf der anderen Seite aber England tief in Schulden gestürzt. Im Vergleich zum britischen Bürger in Europa belief sich die Steuerlast eines britischen Kolonisten nur auf ein Fünfzigstel.(5) Um hier einen Ausgleich zu schafften, verabschiedete das Parlament in London 1764 unter anderem das „Zuckergesetz“ (Sugar Act). Eine lange Liste von Waren folgten.Den größten Stein des Anstoßes verspürten führende Kolonisten demnach in der Präambel des Londoner Steuergesetzes. Darin wurde die imperiale Kontrolle des Mutterlandes über die Kolonien verstärkt. Der Widerstand in Britisch-Nordamerika eskalierte, als am 5. März 1770 im sogenannten "Massaker von Boston" fünf Zivilisten im Verlauf einer Auseinandersetzung zwischen Kolonisten und britischen Soldaten getötet und umgehend zu Märtyrern erklärt wurden.Die "Encyclopaedia Britannica", eine 1768 begründete englischsprachige Enzyklopädie, gibt den Vorfall heute emotionsfrei wieder: „Der Zwischenfall war der Höhepunkt einer Serie von Schlägereien, in welchen die örtlichen Arbeiter und Seeleute mit den in Boston einquartierten Soldaten zusammenstießen. Verfolgt von einer Bande, eröffneten die Soldaten das Feuer. Crispus Attucks, ein Seemann und früherer Sklave, wurde als erster niedergeschossen. This is the question that historians have argued since the end of World War Two. How much did an average person know, and, more importantly, how responsible were they?  What made people “perpetrators,” “bystanders,” and “victims” within a wider context of coercion and consent?To explore this question is today's guest, Richard Evans, author of “Hitler's People: The Faces of the Third Reich.” We look at a connected series of biographical portraits of key Nazi figures that follows power as it radiated from Hitler to the inner and outer circles of the regime's leadership. While Jason would ultimately decide to leave the group in 2016 due to increasing racism and Holocaust denial within their membership, the Oath Keepers would go on to participate in the United States Capitol January 6th attack, led by followers of Donald Trump. Jason eventually testified before a U.S. House Select Committee about his position in media propaganda for the organization. He described their attempts at paramilitary tactics, plans for insurrection, and his relationship with Stewart Rhodes, founder of the Oath Keepers, convicted of seditious conspiracy and evidence tampering. Today's show opens with how quickly Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA) was able to clean up the streets of San Francisco when playing host to the leader of Communist China. It's yet another insight into what the modern Democrat party has become. They are not the party of your parents or grandparents. They see the power dictators have and they want that same power for themselves here. We then return to the ongoing carnage being caused by Frankenstein's Monster on the Left. A near riot broke out in Washington, D.C. outside of DNC headquarters. The “cease fire now” pro-Hamas crowd battled police and forced a lock-down where members of Congress had to be escorted to safety. CNN interviewed Rep. Brad Sherman (D-CA) who was there and provided an first-hand account. What's interesting is how he dropped a double-edged comment at the end. Initially, it sounds like he is chastising CNN for not focusing more on the pro-Israel rally from the other day? What he is really saying is, “Hey! CNN! Stop putting a spotlight on our monster. You are embarrassing us Democrats!” I then remind you what Hamas spokesperson Ghazi Hamad said on Arab television shortly after October 7. Their position is to eradicate Israel and all Jewish people and they will not stop so long as they are still breathing. You cannot have a culture of life coexist with a culture of death, it's just that simple. Someone purporting to be a son of a Hamas leader, either current or former, has something to say to the protesters who seem to support Hamas. Whether he is who he says he is may not be provable at the moment, but his message is right in line with what I have been saying for weeks. To back up the sentiment, we turn to a quote from His Highness Sheikh Abdulla Bin Zayed Al Nahyan of the UAE. He warns the West that their political correctness and shortsightedness is going to allow Islamist extremism to come from within their own borders. Shifting to domestic issues, I remind everyone again that it doesn't matter what evidence we have of crimes committed by Joe Biden, the Democrat majority senate is not going to remove him from office. For those mad that the new Speaker or the GOP investigations are not moving fast enough toward Articles of Impeachment, you are setting yourself up for failure. That's not the point of the Inquiry. The point is to give people like me and other independent sources the facts we need to then bring them to you, our audiences. The purpose is to help change the minds of the every day voter when the 2024 election cycle rolls around. You are not going to get the truth from the Legacy/mainstream media. To illustrate his again, I bring you a short back-and-forth between a reporterette at CNN and Presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy. Whether you trust him or not, he responds to the mainstream media the way I wish more Constitutionalists would. He refuses to accept their premises and challenges them on their propaganda. We get back to San Francisco and the Left's desire to please their Chinese overlords with a short parody song from my good friend, Jim Gossett.
