Back in the US, a report by Senator Sheldon Whitehouse revealed that Trump's White House restricted the FBI's investigation into Brett Kavanaugh's 2018 sexual misconduct allegations, contradicting claims of an independent probe. Additionally, despite denying sending COVID tests to Putin, the Kremlin confirmed the delivery, while denying any recent phone calls between Trump and Putin.
