Bonjour Stéphane. Bonjour, Joan, bonjour à toutes les personnes qui nous écoutent. Aujourd'hui, nous accueillons Quentin Beck. Quentin est un apprenti pasteur, comme moi un petit peu encore. Bonjour. Bonjour, Joan, bonjour Stéphane. Bonjour aux auditeurs et auditrices. Quentin, tu nous viens de Neuchâtel et tu nous raconteras un petit peu plus tard pourquoi devenir pasteur. Exactement, c'est ça. J'ai 27 ans et depuis peu, j'exerce le ministère.   Est-ce que les femmes pasteures existent?   Comme anecdote pour débuter, j'aimerais dire que je viens d'une région en Alsace où il y a encore une petite prégnance de luthéranisme, un petit peu aussi, bien sûr, de communautés réformées, mais essentiellement des communautés luthériennes. Généralement, lorsqu'on est en paroisse et qu'on est pasteur, les jeunes savent de quoi il s'agit. Ils ont l'habitude, ils ont déjà rencontré des pasteurs ou ils ont entendu parler de ça, notamment des femmes pasteurs. Ça fait quand même un moment qu'il y a des femmes pasteurs. Et j'ai eu la surprise en arrivant dans le canton de Vaud, où le catéchisme est sectorisé, c'est-à-dire que certains professionnels de l'Église s'en occupent et plus nécessairement tous les pasteurs, je suis allée à la rencontre de jeunes dans un camp et j'ai dit que j'étais pasteur. Là, j'ai vu qu'ils me regardaient d'un drôle d'air. Il y en a un qui me dit « Mais finalement, si les femmes peuvent être pasteurs, (visiblement, c'était un petit peu nouveau pour lui, mais il avait l'air tout à fait OK) pourquoi on ne dit pas pasteuresse?   La raison derrière la volonté de devenir pasteur   C'est très intéressant, ces questions, parce que souvent, on suit une voie et pour la majorité des gens, on n'y pense pas trop. On prend une profession parce qu'on aime quelque chose, on a eu quelqu'un qui nous a influencés. Mais pour être pasteur, mon expérience est que j'ai eu à expliquer, je ne sais pas combien de centaines de fois, mon appel au ministère, pourquoi je voulais être pasteur, au point où je me disais, est-ce qu'il y a quelque chose que je n'ai pas encore compris? On ne veut pas avoir n'importe qui. Mais toujours cette question, au point où, une fois, j'ai googlé « Pourquoi devenir pasteur? » Et la première réponse que j'ai eue, c'est « Comment devenir riche? » Je n'exagère pas là. Donc, j'avais ma réponse. C'était pour le pognon. Et toi, Quentin, pourquoi es-tu devenu pasteur? Pour l'argent aussi, exclusivement. Ah, c'est bon! Impeccable!   Un parcours de foi   C'est aussi une question qu'on me pose souvent. C'est vrai que les gens s'interrogent quand on dit qu'on est pasteur, surtout que j'ai 27 ans et je n'ai pas forcément la tête à laquelle les gens s'attendent lorsqu'ils s'imaginent un pasteur. C'est une question à laquelle j'ai aussi dû répondre maintes et maintes fois. Mais voilà, je crois que j'ai voulu devenir pasteur parce que lors de mon catéchisme, j'ai vu autour de moi des gens qui avaient une foi forte, qui vivaient des choses avec Dieu et je voyais des gens qui changeaient dans leur comportement, dans leur façon d'être. Je venais d'une famille pas forcément très pratiquante où la foi n'avait pas une grande place. Et du coup, je me sentais un peu à part là-dedans. Je ne comprenais pas trop et en même temps, j'étais attiré, ça me posait des questions. Et je me suis dit, il faut que je grandisse dans ma foi, et pour ça je me suis lancé dans les études de théologie. Si quelqu'un se pose des questions, je ne sais pas si c'est la meilleure chose à faire de se lancer dans des études de théologie, mais c'est ce que j'ai décidé de faire. Et voilà, donc ma rentrée dans le monde de la théologie ne se faisait pas en vue du ministère, mais en vue de grandir dans ma foi. Je suis passé par la faculté catholique de Fribourg. Durant ce bachelor en théologie, on a beaucoup parlé de l'incarnation de Dieu, d'un Dieu qui se fait homme, qui se fait être humain et qui vient vers nous, qui vit des émotions, qui rigole, qui pleure, qui mange, qui meurt aussi. Il y a tout cet aspect-là. C'est quelque chose où je me suis dit: ce Dieu qui se fait proche de nous, qui nous comprend, qui nous ressemble, c'est quelque chose dont j'ai envie de témoigner autour de moi. Je dirais que c'est là qu'il y a eu le début de cette vocation, le commencement de cette vocation pour le ministère. Après, il y avait plein d'autres choses qui me retenaient. Je suis quelqu'un d'assez timide, d'assez introverti. Il m'a fallu passer par-dessus certaines choses. Je me retrouve un peu dans l'histoire de Moïse en Exode IV, qui n'a pas envie d'aller parler aux autres parce qu'il a de la peine à s'exprimer. Je m'identifiais aussi là-dedans. En Église, j'ai eu des moments, des espaces où on m'a permis de m'exprimer, où on m'a écouté, on m'a permis d'être moi-même, et où j'ai aussi pu expérimenter, parler devant les gens, témoigner de qui j'étais, de ce que je croyais, de ma foi. C'est quelque chose que j'ai envie de pouvoir permettre aussi aux autres, et je dirais que c'est un peu ces éléments-là qui ont fait qu'après mes études en théologie, je me lance dans le ministère pastoral.   Les pasteurs qui nous influencent durant notre jeunesse   J'aime bien ce témoignage, notamment cette idée que l'Église est un lieu où on peut être soi-même. Et je trouve que c'est plutôt encourageant. Moi, de mon côté, j'ai cette certitude en moi depuis que j'ai l'âge de 10 ans. Je me rappelle que j'étais en train de faire un jeu, et puis je me disais, mais au fait, qu'est-ce que je vais devenir plus tard? Enfin, je me vois dans quoi? J'avais deux parents travailleurs sociaux, très à gauche, très engagés pour le monde. Et je voulais aussi un métier qui fasse sens, et où on soit là au nom d'une cause supérieure, et finalement, où on serve les autres. Et je connaissais le mari de ma marraine, qui était un pasteur totalement engagé dans le travail social auprès des jeunes dans la rue. Et je me suis dit, moi, je vais faire le travail que fait Jean-Michel. Ce n'est qu'après que j'ai découvert que c'était très, très, très anecdotique, qu'il n'y en avait vraiment pas beaucoup. En fait, mon modèle à moi, hyper à gauche, hyper punk, hyper avec les marges. En plus, ce qui est un petit peu dommage, a posteriori je regrette un peu, c'est que je me suis dit je vais devenir pasteur parce que je ne savais pas qu'il y avait d'autres métiers d'Église. Après, j'ai expérimenté tous les autres métiers d'Église : catéchète, diacre, dans la sphère missionnaire, etc., et je me suis vraiment éclatée aussi. Je suis contente que maintenant cette diversité des ministères existe et qu'on en parle beaucoup plus aux jeunes. Sinon, il y a un risque de cléricalisme, de pastora-centré, qui n'est pas bénéfique pour l'Église, en fait, et qui limite aussi, en termes de projection, les lieux où on se sent à l'aise pour exercer un ministère.   Un ministère pour tous et toutes   Lorsque les gens pensent à quelqu'un qui travaille pour l'Église, on pense à un pasteur parce que je crois qu'il y a cette idée justement du pasteur masculin, le prêtre qui est en avant, qui parle avec sa grosse voix grave et enseigne les bonnes réponses. Et pourtant, le ministère, c'est tellement plus large. Moi, je suis de ceux qui croient que nous sommes tous et toutes appelés au ministère. Le défi, c'est de trouver le bon ministère qui nous correspond. Il y a des gens qui ont une facilité de parler en public, comme moi. Il y a des gens qui font de la musique. Il y a des gens qui accompagnent des personnes malades. Ce sont tous des ministères. On pourrait quasiment dire tous des pasteurs. Je sais que ça peut choquer un peu parce qu'on a l'impression que « pasteur », ce n'est pas une appellation d'origine contrôlée. Mais je me demande dans les yeux de Dieu, les titres…  j'ai l'impression que ce n'est pas si important. C'est le ministère qu'on fait. Je pense qu'on a justement cet appel-là de trouver ce qu'on peut faire avec tous les dons, tous les talents qu'on a reçus de l'Esprit.   Suivre son appel   Moi, cette idée de ministère qui s'adresse à tout le monde me parle beaucoup. Pour l'examen de consécration que j'ai passé il y a deux semaines, j'ai dû préalablement envoyer une lettre qui exprimait mes envies et justement les raisons de mon engagement. Et j'ai insisté sur le fait que c'est avant tout mon ministère à la suite du Christ, en tant que chrétien qui se place dans ce ministère pastoral, mais ce qui est à la source, c'est ce ministère baptismal, ou ce ministère qui nous vient de notre envie de nous mettre à la suite du Christ. Voilà le ministère pastoral dans lequel je m'engage actuellement, un ministère assez traditionnel, où justement je suis un peu ce pasteur masculin, alors j'essaye de pas trop enseigner, de ne pas être trop moralisant. Mais c'est la forme à laquelle je me sens appelé et il y a une diversité des ministères et une complémentarité des ministères aussi. Je pense que c'est aussi important de dire que tout seul je ne m'en sortirai pas non plus. Si je reprends un peu l'exemple de Moïse avec ses difficultés à s'exprimer en public, Dieu lui donne aussi Aaron pour qu'il aide et je crois que c'est important de le dire. En tout cas, à mes yeux, si on place le pasteur tout seul, on ne fait pas grand-chose.   Le manque de modèle pour les femmes   J'ai deux choses à dire. La première, c'est que finalement, c'est difficile pour une femme pasteure d'avoir des femmes comme modèle. Non pas qu'il n'y ait pas d'autres femmes pasteurs, il y en a, il y en a même beaucoup et de plus en plus et je trouve ça très bien. D'ailleurs souvent on me dit, il n'y a pas longtemps, j'étais dans un groupe et un homme assez âgé a dit « de toute façon maintenant, il n'y a plus que des femmes pasteurs ». Alors je lui ai dit « ah bon, mais où ? Ça m'intéresse beaucoup ». Il a dit « En Suisse, il n'y a plus que des femmes pasteurs ». Je lui ai dit « ben statistiquement ce n'est pas vrai ». Bref, on a souvent des remarques qui n'ont pas l'air si contentes qu'il y ait plus de femmes pasteurs. Et pour moi qui vais avoir 45 ans, finalement, je n'ai pas tellement de femmes comme modèles. Et quand je parle de femmes modèles, je parle de gens comme Martin Luther King, de gens comme Albert Schweitzer, je parle de gens dont on parle tout le temps et qui ont une figure tutélaire dans la société. Ce qui est intéressant, c'est que j'ai un peu réfléchi à ma paroisse d'origine, et je me suis rendu compte que de temps à autre il y a eu quelques stagiaires femmes, mais il n'y a pas encore eu de femmes pasteurs titulaires dans cette paroisse. Et ça donne à réfléchir quand même, parce qu'on est en 2025 et c'est une paroisse qui a été plantée lors de la Réforme, il y a cinq siècles. Donc finalement, quand on a l'impression qu'il y a peut-être beaucoup de femmes pasteurs, il y a beaucoup de femmes pasteures, beaucoup de femmes qui sont au service, beaucoup de femmes ministres, diacres, animatrices d'Église, mais pas de femmes dans les lieux où il y a une certaine densité historique ou des lieux auxquels on puisse se référer, comme la paroisse qu'a plantée Calvin à Strasbourg, qui est ma paroisse d'origine.   Les attentes envers les pasteures?   Et puis la deuxième chose à laquelle je pense, c'est que c'est encore une découverte progressive et qui n'est pas terminée sur ce qui est attendu d'une femme pasteur. C'est-à-dire qu'il y a dix ou quinze ans, il y avait des articles, notamment dans le journal Réforme en France, qui n'est pas le Réformes en Suisse, sur la plus-value. Figurez-vous qu'avoir des femmes pasteurs, c'était quand même bien, ça amenait une plus-value parce qu'on était à l'écoute, on s'occupait bien des enfants. Les femmes peut-être se sentaient un peu plus en confiance, mais les hommes aussi, parce qu'on était dans le « care », on était plus maternantes. Enfin voilà, toutes choses qui ne faisaient aucun sens pour moi. Et je crois qu'on est encore en train d'essayer de se dire, mais c'est qui, c'est quoi une femme pasteure? Et moi, pour avoir succédé pendant presque une année à un homme très compétent dans son domaine, très connu et du cru du lieu, j'ai bien vu qu'en fait, il y a des gens pour qui c'était un changement qui était bénéfique. Ils en étaient contents, contentes, notamment des jeunes femmes qui sont venues me raconter beaucoup de choses, comme c'est toujours le cas quand il y a une femme pasteur qui succède à un homme. Mais il y avait aussi beaucoup de gens qui étaient complètement dubitatifs. À se dire, attends, ça fait beaucoup, non? C'est une femme et puis elle est étrangère. Comment on va faire? Comment va-t-elle s'en sortir? On ne va pas trop l'aider quand même. Voilà, donc je vous apporte ma touche féminine à la conversation.   Pasteur : vocation ou travail?   Mon commentaire est purement empirique, je n'ai pas fait de recherche. J'ai remarqué avec la féminisation du clergé au Canada, on parle de plus en plus de vocation. En soi, ce n'est pas une mauvaise chose, mais ce que ça sous-tend lorsqu'on a une vocation, c'est qu'on se donne sans compter. Lorsqu'on a une profession, on est professionnel, on fait nos heures, lorsqu'on a un travail, on a un horaire de travail. Mais lorsqu'on a une vocation, c'est sûr que tu vas travailler 50-60 heures par semaine sans être payé pour tes heures supplémentaires. C'est sûr que tu vas faire de l'extra. C'est une vocation. Et j'ai arrêté d'utiliser ce mot-là justement pour dire ma profession, c'est pasteur. J'ai eu un appel, mais j'ai un travail qui est, bon, peut-être atypique par rapport à des amis qui travaillent dans un bureau, qui travaillent pour le gouvernement. Mais j'essaye d'utiliser le moins possible cette idée de vocation. Je ne crois pas que mon travail, ce soit d'être un martyr. Je crois que mon travail c'est d'être là pour les gens d'une communauté ou d'une région, puis d'essayer de les faire grandir dans la foi, sans nécessairement me tuer à la tâche.   Trouver un équilibre dans la vie de pasteur   En tout cas, pour moi qui débute dans le ministère, c'est vrai que c'est une question qui prend beaucoup de place; comment jongler, comment équilibrer vie professionnelle et vie privée, comment réussir à forger un ministère qui me ressemble et qui n'est pas non plus seulement basé sur les attentes des paroissiens ou des paroissiennes. Justement, j'ai changé de paroisse entre mon stage et ma suffragance dans laquelle je suis actuellement, et j'ai vu que les attentes étaient totalement différentes et que le statut qu'on me donnait était très différent. Voilà, c'est un défi pour moi, clairement, de réussir à faire un équilibre entre ces deux choses. Et c'est le titre de l'épisode « Pourquoi devenir pasteur? » ça m'a fait rire que vous m'invitiez pour ce podcast-là parce qu'il y a quelques fois quand même ou en regardant mes semaines ou quand je raconte ce que je fais avec certaines personnes, on me demande pourquoi est-ce que tu es devenu pasteur ? Puis il y a quelques fois où je réponds « je ne sais pas ». Et c'est vrai que c'est un peu cette remise en question de « waouh, comment est-ce que je vais pouvoir tenir ça et tenir ça à long terme, aussi pour ne pas me brûler tout de suite ? » « Comment ça tu ne sais pas? On a dit que c'est pour l'argent. » « Exactement, c'est ça. Mais voilà, je dois avouer que je ne suis pas dans le bon canton pour l'argent. »   Les différents termes pour définir un ministère   Alors, on parle beaucoup de pasteur, c'est le titre de l'épisode, mais je suis passée par une étape comme diacre, alors c'était purement économique, là, de nouveau, tiens, on revient vers ça. C'est aussi parce que la paroisse qui m'employait n'avait pas vraiment les finances pour employer deux pasteurs. Ça m'arrangeait d'être diacre à cette période de ma vie, un, par curiosité pour ce ministère-là. Et deux, parce que du coup j'avais moins de responsabilités administratives. Étant donné que c'était en Suisse alémanique, je dois reconnaître que j'étais assez contente de ne pas avoir trop de responsabilités. Du coup, il m'est arrivé l'une ou l'autre fois d'aller en Afrique terminer des dossiers pour mon ancien mandat où ils avaient encore besoin d'un petit coup de main. Et j'expliquais à mes collègues, écoutez, maintenant je suis diacre. Ils me regardaient comme ça avec des grands yeux. Ils se disaient, mais comment a-t-elle fait, elle qui a un doctorat en ontologie, qui est pasteur, en tout cas j'ai mon certificat de pasteur, comment a-t-elle fait pour devenir diacre? Jusqu'à ce que je comprenne que, dans ce contexte-là, « diacre », ça veut dire « sacristine ». Ils étaient polis, ils n'osaient rien dire, mais ils me regardaient vraiment tous les uns après les autres, genre… Mais qu'est-ce qui se passe? Voilà, c'est marrant parce qu'en fait, il y a tous ces mots qui sont interchangeables. « vicar » ne veut pas dire « vicaire ». Et puis, « diacre » ne veut pas dire la même chose ailleurs. « Sacristine » peut-être pas non plus, je n'en sais rien. « Suffragant », en tout cas, ça ne veut pas dire la même chose partout. Toi, tu es un révérend, n'est-ce pas, Stéphane? Oui, en anglais, je suis un révérend. En français, je suis un pasteur.   Vouloir devenir le pasteur cool   J'ai grandi catholique romain. C'était l'époque post-Vatican II, donc les prêtres « cool » avec leur guitare, les cheveux longs. On les tutoyait. Bon, on ne se pose pas trop de questions. J'arrive dans l'Église Unie du Canada. En formation, c'était assez cool entre francophones. Et là, le choc. À ma première paroisse anglophone, j'avais un titre. J'avais des privilèges. Lorsqu'il y avait un repas de paroisse, je devais me servir en premier. On m'appelait révérend tout le temps. Quand les dames de la paroisse ont su comment j'aimais mon café, je n'avais pas à lever le petit doigt. Le café arrivait comme je l'aimais et ça m'énervait. Il y a cette notion, justement, comment les gens nous perçoivent. Ce n'est pas juste nous qui, parfois, recherchons le prestige. Il y a les gens, il y a le passé, il y a le titre, il y a toutes ces choses-là qui influencent la relation qu'on peut avoir avec des paroissiens, des paroissiennes, ou même les gens de la communauté.  « Ah, c'est monsieur le pasteur de telle paroisse. » Ah, bon, là, on fait attention.  Des fois, j'ai juste le goût de dire « je suis Stéphane ». Pour moi, c'est quasiment un carcan de dire qu'il faut que je fasse attention pour correspondre à une certaine vision. Et ça, c'est le côté que je n'avais pas vu venir lorsque j'ai fait ma formation, puis lorsque j'ai débuté, puis pourquoi je voulais être pasteur. Je voulais être le pasteur cool, puis ça n'a pas été ça nécessairement.   Répondre aux attentes des autres   Moi, à part en Afrique, je n'ai jamais connu cette aura de la pasteure. Déjà parce que quand tu es une femme, c'est hyper rare d'avoir de l'aura dans ce genre de job. Je crois que j'ai déjà raconté dans un autre épisode, mais il t'arrive plutôt des trucs du style: tu arrives pour un service funèbre, tu te présentes, puis quelqu'un me dit « Oh, vous parlez bien le français, c'est formidable! » Et puis j'ai dit « Ah ben écoutez, je suis contente que vous soyez contente. » Tu ne sais pas trop quoi répondre dans ces cas-là. Elle m'a dit « Oui, parce que j'ai vu votre nom de famille là, Charras-Sancho. » Et je me suis dit « Elle va avoir un accent effroyable, on va rien comprendre. » Comme toujours quand c'est des femmes étrangères. Il m'arrive plutôt des choses un peu comme ça, des petites vexations, des micro-agressions. Mais pas toujours, mais s'il m'arrive des choses, c'est plutôt de ce registre. Et puis, quand tu es en Afrique et que tu dis que tu es ou docteur en théologie, ou diacre, ou missionnaire, ou pasteur ou quoi, effectivement, là, il y a plus de différences. Mais il peut arriver aussi des choses un peu gênantes, comme la fois où quelqu'un est venu toquer à ma porte et m'a demandé si j'avais des culottes pour qu'on me les lave. J'ai dit non, non, c'est bon, merci beaucoup, je n'y tiens pas plus que ça, c'est gentil.  J'étais sur un campus protestant et puis ils m'ont envoyé quelqu'un pour me laver mes culottes. C'est aimable, mais j'ai dit non. C'est vrai que je trouve que c'est marrant parce qu'on m'a beaucoup parlé de la stature des pasteurs et il y a des personnes âgées qui sont très déçues qu'on ne soit pas des hommes en costume cravate. Je me rends compte que c'est une déception pour ces personnes. J'essaye de me mettre vraiment à leur place, mais il n'y a rien que je puisse faire pour répondre à cette attente-là. Je ne peux être que moi-même et finalement, je crois que ça rejoint un petit peu ce que tu nous disais, Quentin. C'est important que dans ces Églises on puisse être soi-même. Entre le moment où moi j'ai commencé le ministère en 2009, le moment où Stéphane a commencé dix ans avant, le moment où toi tu commences, Quentin, on est presque déjà sur trois générations différentes. Quelles attentes est-ce que tu sens toi, Quentin?   Trouver sa place dans une communauté en tant que pasteur   Justement, l'anecdote du café de Stéphane m'a fait assez rire, parce que dans la paroisse dans laquelle je suis arrivé en septembre, il y a justement ce rituel du café après le culte. Dans ma vision du ministère, il y a une position de service. Je me verrais plutôt à servir les cafés pendant ces moments-là, plutôt que de me faire servir mon café. Donc voilà, il y a aussi ce malaise que la communauté est là pour servir le pasteur avec laquelle j'ai beaucoup de peine et je dois apprendre les moments où me laisser servir aussi, ce qui est compliqué pour moi. Il faut essayer de trouver cet équilibre entre quand est-ce que je ne me laisse pas faire et je pose mes limites en disant ben non là; si je veux aider pour ça, j'aide et quand est-ce que j'accepte que tout d'un coup on me serve mon café. Mais voilà, ces attentes-là, je me rends compte qu'elles peuvent vraiment varier d'un lieu à l'autre. Et je réfléchis aussi, il y a un peu deux aspects. Il y a l'aspect homme, qui est très valorisé, et en même temps, il y a l'aspect jeune, où les remarques sont souvent pleines de bonne volonté, mais on peut aussi être un peu le petit gamin avec des comportements infantilisants qu'on peut percevoir. De nouveau là, il sagit de trouver quand est-ce que les gens en paroisse ont l'âge d'être mes grands-parents, quand est-ce que j'accepte qu'ils voient un peu en moi leur petit-fils, qu'ils auraient peut-être souhaité voir devenir pasteur, et puis quand est-ce que non, je m'affirme comme un adulte et que je prends ma place aussi. Voilà, c'est un défi, peut-être en tant qu'être un peu timide et introverti des fois, de vraiment prendre ma place et oser poser mes limites.   Un appel qui change avec le temps   Il y a quelques années, je suis allé à une conférence de prédication. Il y avait un prédicateur américain qui nous a parlé de 1 Rois 19. Le prophète Élie doit se sauver dans le désert pendant une dépression profonde et il veut mourir. Il rencontre le Seigneur et il reçoit une nouvelle mission. Et le prédicateur nous expliquait que la raison qui nous a conduits à devenir pasteurs n'est peut-être pas la même que celle qu'on a aujourd'hui. Moi, j'ai eu à vivre ça. J'ai été pasteur de paroisse pendant longtemps et je croyais que c'était ça. J'étais fait pour être pasteur de paroisse, rien d'autre. Et plusieurs choses sont arrivées et la vie m'a mené ailleurs. Je pense que c'est OK aussi. Parce que ce n'est pas nécessairement un métier facile. Il y a les critiques et parfois on se demande, un peu comme m'a dit Quentin, mais qu'est-ce que je fais là? Pourquoi j'ai dit oui à ça? Et parfois, je me suis dit, est-ce que je serais plus heureux ailleurs? Probablement pas. Être pasteur, dans un contexte en 2025 où, en Occident, l'Église chrétienne, on va être honnête, est en déclin, c'est un choix qui se renouvelle.   Être pasteure est une passion   Servir en Église, plus encore qu'être pasteur, c'est vraiment une passion. C'est un métier passion. J'aime la théologie, j'aime la réflexion, j'aime le contact avec les gens, j'aime les retours qu'on fait, j'aime pouvoir inventer des nouvelles façons de célébrer Dieu. Donc je suis assez reconnaissante de vivre de ma passion. Et pour avoir pas mal voyagé en Afrique, à Madagascar, j'étais toujours hyper émue de voir qu'il y avait des instituts de formation de pasteurs où il y avait parfois des volets de plus de 100 pasteurs, mais qui n'avaient aucune idée comment réussir à en vivre. Et moi, j'ai souvent ça dans un coin de ma tête quand c'est un peu difficile ou quand je me lamente un petit peu sur mon sort. Je me dis, bon, à part ça, pour l'instant, le salaire est assuré, on revient à l'argent et je peux vivre de ma passion. C'est quand même formidable.   Être payé pour vivre des moments spéciaux   C'est vrai qu'il y a ces moments où on se demande qu'est-ce qu'on fait là, puis il y a aussi d'autres moments où on se dit, « C'est vraiment mon métier, je suis vraiment payé pour vivre ce moment parce qu'il y a des moments tellement beaux. »  Je bosse beaucoup avec les adolescents, puis il y a des moments de camps qui sont juste incroyables. Puis je me dis, mais c'est incroyable de pouvoir être payé pour ça. On rigole beaucoup avec l'argent, mais de vraiment pouvoir être présent dans ces moments-là, c'est un ministère; en tout cas le mien est encore très généralisé et du coup je mes retrouve à accompagner des gens dans toutes les étapes de leur vie et on est parfois tellement privilégié de ce que les gens nous partagent, nous laissent entrer dans une certaine intimité qui est très précieuse. Je dirais que c'est souvent dans ces moments-là que je suis le plus reconnaissant du ministère que je peux vivre. Donc voilà, c'est ça, il y a les côtés qui parfois sont lourds, où il y a plein de soucis et aussi quand on regarde vers l'avenir, c'est parfois difficile d'être optimiste, mais il y a ces moments-là qui, moi, viennent me rappeler aussi pourquoi je me suis lancé là-dedans.   Conclusion   Merci, Quentin, d'avoir participé depuis l'Église réformée neuchâteloise, que nous saluons. Starring Tom Holland, Samuel L. Jackson, Zendaya, Cobie Smulders, Jon Favreau and Jake Gyllenhaal. After coming down from the high that was the last 45 minutes of Avengers: Endgame, this palette cleanser isn't what the doctor ordered, but we're getting it anyway. Mike works through his dislike of the character that is Ned, through no fault of the actor, Jacob Batalon. Pat finds very little to like in this movie with exception of the action set pieces. But they both agree that Quentin Beck is played extremely well by Jake Gyllenhaal, even if they don't understand his reasons for unveiling Spider-Man's true identity during the end tag. This also marks the end of the Infinity Saga as well as the end of Yet Another MCU Podcast. Mysterio bekommt endlich einen großen Kinoauftritt und passend zu Spider-Man: Far From Home schaue ich auf die Comic-Historie des Quentin Beck in SPIDER-MAN VS. MYSTERIO. Enthalten sind eine Origin Story, sowie drei Storys die vor allem Mysterio in den Mittelpunkt stellen. Dabei geben sich kreative Genies wie Stan Lee, Dan Slott oder John Romita die Klinke in die Hand. Für alle Fans des Kinofilms eine klare Empfehlung. Wenn ihr wissen wollt wie sich der Mysterio Charakter über die Jahre entwickelt hat, dann ist das euer Comic. Viel Spaß mit meiner Rezension in der neuesten Folge Pow, Thwip, Snikt.

Jake Gyllenhaal gets to don the "fishbowl" as Quentin Beck, the interdimensional savior of Venice when a giant water monster surfaces to try to destroy the city.  Peter Parker (Tom Holland) happens to be there at the time, as he has traveled to Europe for a week-long class trip. Peter, of course, is gifted with superhero powers, but doesn't have the "great responsibility of other incarnations of the character, and would rather just be a teenager and do teenage things, like trying to find a way to express his feelings to his major crush, MJ (Zendaya), doing it atop the Eiffel Tower..  With the Avengers in a sort of disarray, Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) assembles Beck, dubbed in the press as Mysterio, with Spider-Man who sees the new hero as a surrogate mentor to live up to in the wake of Tony Stark's demise,  in order to stop future scary elementals from coming out of the woodworks again to destroy a major city. Jon Watts directs this MCU release.
