2016 single by Austin Mahone ft. Rich Homie Quan
POPULARITY
Look, we are all about dumb conversations and toilet humor, and ragging on eachother, but sometimes you gotta get serious. Chip, Jeff, and Khalid spend the first chunk of the show discussing the news surrounding the Chicago Blackhawks, Kyle Beach's interview with Rick Westhead. It's uncomfortable, but it's important. We then get to the silliness...we cut corners in answering a Send It question, go through some of our NHL team nightmare scenarios, Khalid dreads going to a Kings game with Jeff on Thursday, and more.
Week 1 of the NFL is finally upon us and the crew at the Send It. Podcast breaks down the following games; Raiders vs Ravens, Packers vs Saints, and Chiefs vs Browns. Then we do a rapid fire prediction segement of all the Week 1 match ups. New intro song, new logo, new season. #sendit PLUS our new sponsors @ThriveFantasy are introduced! #propup
There are times in your life when you just need to SEND IT! If you do the proper preparation and master the fundamentals you can accomplish things that defy belief. I experienced one of these feats this past week. I am still blown away from what I saw and I share it with you in this week's episode. Many of you just dip your toe in, fearful of failure and pretend to give it your all. That aint living! Either give it a "full send" or nothing at all! A "half send" guarantees you some bumps and bruises and a feeling of what if. Your worst fears will come true when you only half commit to the task at hand. I get it... you aren't ready to launch yourself off into the unknown with reckless abandonment. That is the last thing I want you to do. In this episode we go DEEP into the process of preparation and mastery of the fundamentals so you can confidently giver a FULL SEND. Could you crash? Absolutely! But life is about taking calculated chances and pushing your abilities to the limit. Take your hands off the brake and send it! I want to give a special thanks to all the sponsors for their continued support of the show. Welcome to this week's message from CONVO Church. Sometimes we could think that life would be better as a Jesus follower if Jesus was still here in the flesh to follow. By recalling what the Lord has delivered you from it reminds your heart what to be thankful for. Thankfulness and gratitude are things that live in the heart of every person who is a follower of Jesus because within their heart is a river of thankfulness flowing out to the Lord because of all the things He has delivered us from. If you ever feel like your faith is weak, lifeless and mundane it probably correlates to your remembrance of how the Lord liberated you. The key to following the Lord is looking ahead to the Freedom that Jesus has provided us while also looking back at the cages that he set us free from. It's a great dance of thankfulness and remembering how far the Lord has brought us. What has the Lord delivered you from? We would love to know! Message us on instagram! @ethanbricker This week SEND IT by recalling what the Lord has delivered you from and choosing to not consume any media or substance that may take away your freedom.
In this weeks episode Ethan & Nate discuss being teachable no matter how old we get. Whether you are in your prime or you are being taught how to use social media by a Gen Z we all have the ability to learn something new. Sometimes we limit ourselves from learning new things because we feel like things are beyond our ability to learn. We want to help you overcome that belief system! This week SEND IT by being teachable and by giving yourself some grace to learn something you've never done before!
We all want as many choices as we can possibly obtain. Choices make us feel powerful because it gives us a little feeling of being able to chose the best possible option for us. But what happens when you are overloaded with too many choices? In this weeks episode Nate & Ethan discuss how to overcome choice overload. This week SEND IT by creating a systematic routine that will help eliminate choice fatigue in your life.
In this weeks episode we had the honor of having Kim Wahl sit down with us and discuss the idea of "This is my Truth". The idea that truth is relative is a very slippery slope that can cause dangerous belief systems and a life that is built on insecurities and lies that we have called truths. Relativity is selfish in nature because it demands the rest of the world to conform to what is the most comfortable and convenient "truth" to you. Truth is not something that conforms to our situation or our beliefs. It's quite the opposite actually. We are supposed to conform to Truth. When Truth (Jesus) arrives on the scene he actually reveals more truth to us. Truth is unshakeable because it wasn't made with human hands and wasn't formed through human thought. Truth doesn't recalculate as it is the most calculated thing in existence because it is defined by the person who brought about existence itself. This week SEND IT by getting into the word of God and discover truth. Do whatever you need to do to keep Truth at the forefront of your mind. Kim is the author of The Complaining Cure and the co-lead pastor of The River Church in Kimball Michigan. You can purchase Kim's book The Complaining Cure and subscribe to her newsletter and blog at OneStepCloser.life. You can also purchase The Complaining Cure on Amazon and Audible.
In this weeks episode Ethan Bricker & Nate Thompson talk about the importance of rest and how it is key to being present with the people you love. Do you ever go on a vacation and then return from your vacation and you feel like YOU STILL NEED A VACATION. Rest is illusive to us so often because we can't stop hustling or planning our next thing. When we truly find rest though, we are able to be fully present with the people we love. Rest is key to being present. This week SEND IT by taking a day to fully rest. Put a pause on planning. Stop talking about the next thing on your to do list. Stop researching the next thing you need to work on AND REST. Don't let your goals own you. Enjoy your life and rest in your accomplishments long enough to recharge to take on the next one.
We've all met someone who had a great impact on our lives. Chances are the reason they had such a profound impact on our life is because they were present and accessible to us. Mr. Rogers for instance was a man that lived this out to its fullness. When Mr. Rogers was with people they felt fully heard, fully accepted and challenged to learn his art of slowing the world down just to be present. He knew how to be present and accessible to the people he loved. Being present & accessible is SUPER difficult. We all struggle with this. It requires you to stop worrying or thinking about the future and slowing down to be in the moment. Which is really hard because many of us feel like we are accomplishing something by planning or thinking about what we will be doing 2 hours from now. It's important that if we want to make an impact on the people around us that we slow our internal world down to be in the moment with the people that want connection with us. This week SEND IT by slowing down and being present and accessible with people who want to engage with you.
So many of us struggle to serve others if what we are doing doesn't directly benefit us. Too many times we catch ourselves serving in order to receive something back. How many times have you served and been searching for a good feeling? You know what feeling I'm talking about. It's the feeling you get when you watch the sunrise with someone close to you. It's that thing that happens in your chest when someone says "I love you.". It's that buzz in your head when a whole room of people applause for you. It's Dopamine. Dopamine is a reward chemical that goes off in our brain when something good happens. It's there to reinforce the feeling of "This is good." or "This feels good.". So often we catch ourselves not wanting to serve others unless we have that hit of dopamine. It's so important that we are able to serve others without needing anything in return. Yes, even a little head buzz from your brain enjoying a compliment. It's not to say that any of that is bad! It's not. Encouragement is needed. Love is needed! Gifts are amazing to receive. But you have the ability to serve well without those things. This week SEND IT by repositioning your yes and your heart to serve well!
What will you be bringing to the table in 2021? There will still be things you wish were better, relational conflicts and ongoing frustrations but how will you handle them? Will you complain about them or will you ask yourself "what am I bringing to the table to help fix this problem of mine?". You can either bring a good attitude to each and every day or you can bring a bummer attitude to every day and complain about things. This year be a solution maker. Bring your best! Bring something to the table! This year SEND IT by bringing your best to the table in 2021!
One of Australia's fastest off-road riders, Mr Daniel "Chucky" Sanders is bout to compete in his first ever Dakar rally.we managed to grab some of his time while he was stuck in hotel quarantine to have a chat with us about his journey to the start line of one of the Biggest motorcycle races in the world.

This surprise bonus episode is about Ethan Dancing with Rona....that's pretty much it. Send it by giving some blood or plasma if you have the antibodies!
In this episode Nate & Ethan discuss how not making a decision (commitment) is actually still making a decision (commitment). Jesus said "Let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No.’ For whatever is more than these is from the evil one." in Matthew 5:37. A common misconception is that if we don't commit to doing something we are in more control and of our time. We've all heard ourselves and our friends say, "I'll try to be there" for that party or "I'll try to get that done in time." or the overly common "I'll see if I have enough time.". Unfortunately when we say things like "I'll try." we are really saying "I don't want to say Yes and I also don't want to say No. This misconception is the lie that we are able to not make a decision; when in reality we are making a very powerful decision. The reality is that when we say 'No' to one thing we are actually saying 'Yes' to something else. However, many times we don't know what that other thing is or we haven't given a name to that other thing and so we make powerful decisions with little strategy or little conviction on how it will affect us. This week SEND IT by being intentional of what decisions you are making. Either do it or don't do it. But know what you are saying yes to! SUB SEND IT: Decide what you are doing and then KEEP THAT DECISION. Don't upgrade it or try to find a better decision. Stay committed to your commitments.
In this episode Nate discusses his experience dancing with Rona! Nate had a pretty serious and yet humorous experience getting Covid and so we had to discuss it! Here's how you SEND IT this week. Send it by thinking about other people more than yourself. The people around you are in a completely different economic and physical situation than you are so think about others more than yourself when taking precautions.
Whether you realize it or not every single day we have to manage the three Me's in our world. Here are the three Me's: How you see yourselfHow others see youHow God sees you In other words every single day you are juggling the thoughts and opinions that come from you, others and God. In this episode, Nate Thompson & Ethan Bricker discuss how to manage all of those opinions and focus your attention on the opinion that matters most; God's opinion. SEND IT this week by asking God what his opinion is of you!
Ever said, "I just love waking up to a hot fresh cup of feedback?" Yeah.... me neither. This week Co-Hosts of Full Send Living, Ethan Bricker & Nate Thompson discuss the importance of receiving feedback even though it can be painful sometimes. Most people don't enjoy receiving feedback. We typically didn't grow up seeking it out and usually don't enjoy hearing someone's experience of being around us. We'd rather stick our head in the sand and just pretend everyone loves us and that everything we are doing is amazing! However, feedback is one of the most valuable commodities that we can receive. It helps us see our blind spots. It encourages the things we are doing well. It reveals the areas that we can improve on and gives us a road map of how to get improve. Feedback and teachability is one of the best things an individual can seek out in the people that are closest to them. This week SEND IT by asking someone you love and trust for feedback. Ask them this question: "What is it like being on the other side of me?"
When the Lord speaks to you what do you do? Do you shrink back? Or do you allow His voice to call you into something great? Georgina Thompson is a woman with hundreds (probably thousands) of stories of her hearing the voice of God, taking action and seeing people encounter Jesus for the first time. Georgina is a giant in the faith. She is also Nate Thompson's mom! In this week's episode we had the privilege to sit down with Georgina and talk about the importance of following God's word and hearing his voice every day. This week send it by asking God what he is asking you to do....then do it!
The 2020 pandemic has had so many of us out of our routine. We've been spending so much time at home and disengaged from what life used to look like that we barley remember what normal is anymore. In this weeks episode co-hosts Nate Thompson & Ethan Bricker talk about the importance of reengaging with life after the covid-vacation (not so much) that had us all wondering "what's going on?". It's so easy to just continue to stay in this disengaged day to day mindset because of all that has happened this year. It's easier to stay isolated away from what your heart is longing for. It's easier to not keep pursuing your dreams. But easy never got you anything worth while! Times may be hard but we want to call you back into a reengagement with life and community! Don't just let 2020 beat you down! Choose today to take control of your attitude and the effort that you put in to 2020 so that you can walk out of this year as a victor and not a defeated disengaged person! How do you send it today? Take control of your attitude and your effort and reengage with life!
Have you ever seen a quick 30 second sound bite online that determined your entire view on a massive topic? Yeah me neither....Of course you have! In this weeks episode of Full Send Living, Ethan & Nate discuss the topic of a 30 second sound bite determining our views on topics. Our world is FULL of media that is designed to convince us to believe a specific belief system in little tiny bite size videos, photos and posts. These sound bites have created division, increased tension and most of all created ongoing debates that don't lead to changed people. Whether you are on social media or not these media posts have affected every single one of us in some shape or form. This week send it by taking inventory of the sound bites you've been holding on to and what you need to let go of!

THE WIVES ARE HERE! Back by popular demand Lydia Bricker & Katie Thompson join their husbands Ethan Bricker & Nate Thompson to talk about the importance of remaining best friends in your marriage. The irony is that before marriage no one wants to be put in the friend zone by a person they are pursuing. While the opposite is true in marriage. Within marriage it's extremely important to constantly pursue a deeper relationship with your spouse by doing things that best friends would love to do together. Having a healthy friendship in marriage is invaluable as it fosters stronger unity and helps you learn new things about your spouse. This week SEND IT by initiating an activity that your spouse likes to do!
We talk Trevor Bauer making waves across Major League Baseball yet again by upsetting the establishment with custom Free Joe Kelly cleats and his “Send It” tee, his dominant performances on the mound this season and how the Cincinnati Reds are embracing all of it. So. Many. Blisters. This weeks episode Co-Hosts Ethan Bricker & Nate Thompson and friends Brad Sundberg and Kevin Fleming talk about what their experience was like hiking Pictured Rocks and the national lake shore trail in the Upper Peninsula. Let's just say their experience was way different than they expected. Weight is an important thing when backpacking. Take it from Ethan, don't carry hot sauce on a hike. You don't need it. It's not worth the blisters and back pain after 20 miles of hiking. Lots of small items like hot sauce add up to a lot of poundage. Be like Nate. Don't research anything and just go with your gut. It'll work out better for you!
There's something for everyone in our latest current events episode. That's right sometimes we talk about the news. This week we go over Olives, money printing, nudist lifesavers, hoaxes and more. Got something you want us to cover....SEND IT!! Thanks for listening!

In this week's episode Co-Hosts Ethan Bricker & Nate Thompson talk about their expectations for their trip to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. They will be going on a 45 mile hike at Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore trail for 3 days and they really don't know what they are doing! Nate & Ethan give you the before hand expectations before the trip and the next episode of Full Send Living will be the recap of how the trip actually went. Carrying nothing by backpacks with a tent, food and water they will go into the wilderness of Michigan and hopefully survive. I guess we will find out in the recap episode if they both make it! Let's just hope they don't get eaten by a bear or fall of a cliff! This week SEND IT by getting outside with your friends. Go walk through the woods. Go to a national park. Do something to get outside and be in the wild!
In this week's episode of Full Send Living Co-Hosts Ethan Bricker & Nate Thompson discuss the topic of starting strong and finishing strong. It's often easy to set yourself up for failure by not preparing yourself to start something strong. It's usually even easier to just give up on that thing you were working towards because of the challenges that come up along the way. Ethan & Nate give some great practical guidance on how to set yourself up to succeed in the starting phase of your project and how to continue to have the motivation to finish whatever you have started with excellence! Your ideas are too awesome to give up on! Your future success depends on your ability to start things right and finish them the right way. This week SEND IT by being consistent with what you can control. THAT'S YOU. Pick two areas in your life (one professional & one personal) that you can improve on. Create a system of how to start the day well. Prepare yourself ahead of time so that you can attack your day and the day doesn't attack you!
A rare Coronavirus watch (3:43), as Pat might have a scare and Nick L contemplates an upcoming trip to the great state of Florida. We welcome Josh Appel (https://twitter.com/JoshAppel) onto the show.
