In this thought-provoking episode of the Moonshots Podcast, hosts Mike and Mark delve into one of the most influential personal development books ever written: Joseph Murphy's The Power of Your Subconscious Mind. This timeless classic reveals the incredible power of the subconscious mind and how it can be harnessed to transform one's life, achieve success, and find true purpose. The episode begins with a powerful mindset shift as Joseph Murphy explains the importance of self-perception and the role of the “I AM” principle in shaping our reality. By reframing how we think about ourselves, we can plant the seeds of confidence, positivity, and success in our subconscious mind. The discussion then moves to understanding what the subconscious mind is and how it works. The team at Always Improving explains the value of cultivating a positive subconscious and how tools like ikigai can guide us to live with clarity and purpose. Murphy's insights make it clear that our inner mind holds the key to unlocking our potential and that aligning our thoughts with our goals can lead to profound success. From there, Mike and Mark explore actionable strategies for reprogramming the subconscious. Drawing on wisdom from Four Minute Books and Always Improving, they explain how to use techniques like visualization, the placebo effect, and active communication with the subconscious mind. These practical tips will help you tap into your hidden potential and steer your life toward fulfillment and achievement. The episode concludes with a powerful call to action from Joseph Murphy: focus your energy and attention on what you want to achieve, and watch your subconscious magnify those desires into reality. Whether you're seeking personal growth, professional success, or a more profound sense of purpose, Murphy's insights provide a roadmap for turning dreams into reality. This episode is a must-listen for anyone who wants to unlock the extraordinary power of their subconscious mind and take control of their destiny.

There are about 9.84 BILLION search results for A.I. - which we mostly think stands for "artificial intelligence." ChatGPT is the latest, greatest, coolest, trickest A.I. It is pretty spectacular. For mere mortals like me, I don't know how A.I. improvement could even be measured, but I do know there's a data gap that is a constraint. A.I. needs high-integrity data. I'm intrigued by artificial intelligence, but I'm far more obsessed with a different A.I. Always Improving “Always dream and shoot higher than you know you can do. Do not bother just to be better than your contemporaries or predecessors. Try to be better than yourself.” ― William Faulkner We all have default behaviors driven by default viewpoints or approaches to life. One of my major default behaviors spawns from a default viewpoint that things can always be better. Not in some, "let's give it time and it'll sort itself out" kind of a way - but in a "what can we do to improve this?" kind of a way. It's how I see the world. It's also how I see most things. It's a default because I'm not consciously trying to do it...it's more of an auto-pilot thing for me. Years of self-introspection and self-examination taught me that I did a poor job of properly communicating this for too many years. The power of others - seeing how others view things - proved most helpful so I could see things more clearly. Through my eyes, it looks and feels like the never-ending quest for improvement based on my belief and optimism that just about anything can be made better! It hasn't got anything to do with dissatisfaction necessarily - although I admit I can be dissatisfied with the status quo. It doesn't look or feel critical to me either. The most helpful thing to me was learning the power of personality traits, specifically my own personality traits. Part of my personality that drives my passion to ALWAYS IMPROVING is summed up in a phrase I've seen when studying about those of us who lean toward perceiving or judging. Making Things as They Ought to Be That typifies my life for as long as I can remember. The judgment comes in my view of how things ought to be - that's where that perception comes in. The contrasting personality trait tends to be more reactionary and flexible, taking things as they come. Their default behavior makes it harder for them to focus on one thing at a time. This is the fifth episode in a five episode series entitled: Best SEO Companies: 17 Best SEO Company Characteristics In this episode, we discuss the final five characteristics of the best SEO agencies: 1. Quality. Cheap SEO can come back to bite you. It goes without saying that you should always work only with those who provide the highest quality services. 2. Control. You should demand as much control over your campaigns as possible, understanding that you should also have the humility to take the advice from the experts. 3. Risk-free. Beware of guarantees, especially if it relates to specific rankings, but having a guarantee that you get your money back if [fill in the blank] does not occur is a good idea. 4. Timeliness. In business, time is always of the essence. Nowhere is time your enemy than in SEO. 5. Always Improving. SEO is a fluid industry. How would you feel if you were ready to go to the Olympics (for the sixth time) and you just got word that because of COVID-19 it was postponed for a year? It takes so much focus and energy to accomplish goals - how do we respond when the goal line gets moved? When I heard the news about Tokyo getting pushed to 2021, I called my friend beach volleyball great, Kerri Walsh Jennings to just check on her state of mind. After visiting on the phone I asked her if she would be willing to come on and talk about it for the show. We got into how she is still so determined and excited to play. What I found fascinating was here is a person who knows how to win and has done it a lot (heading to her sixth Olympics with 3 gold medals and a Bronze in her pocket), but that is how this season has been about changing some of her internal and external techniques. Kerri's ability to see that even though something has worked for a while that it may not be working any more. We got into marriage, kids, parenting and attitude towards age. We recorded on line and had some patchy audio so bear with us on a few spots. I hope you are all safe and sane during the quarantine. Enjoy. Produced by Dear Media.

It is a true honor to have one of Hollywood’s most prolific and accomplished composers on the Dream Big Podcast this week. James Newton Howard has composed music for over 120 films, including the Academy Award-nominated scores for Defiance, Michael Clayton, The Village, The Fugitive, The Prince of Tides, and My Best Friend’s Wedding, and Academy Award-nominated songs for Junior and One Fine Day. Our Big Dreamers can learn so much from Eva’s interview with James. For instance, James famously wrote 3 hours of music for King Kong in just 5 weeks. It takes an incredible work ethic and dedication to pull off such a feat on a tight deadline. James also shares the importance of teamwork and all the incredibly talented people involved in a major Hollywood production. As we often say, you can’t accomplish your Big Dreams alone. And James shares that even after his prolific 30+ year career in Hollywood, he is still striving to improve his craft with each and every project. Big Dreamers don’t believe in perfection and are always looking to grow. There are so many nuggets to be learned! Enjoy the interview :) For our show notes, visit DreamBigPodcast.com/165

This week I am going back to an episode from a few months ago called Nicki Just Wants to be a Good Ally. I am not really fixing, but adding to the conversation of misogyny in Queer Culture. When I did that first episode I didn't understand what a big issue it is to be femme or embracing your female nature is to queer persons and why for years and even to some point now feminine attributes have been expected to be hidden from others. What to do and what not to do when leading creatives God's not surprised. Grace always wins. Music never stops being powerful. God's responsible for tomorrow. I'm responsible for today. --------------------------- *New Episode Every Tuesday* --------------------------- Thank you for listening to the Learner's Corner Podcast. We hope you'll join us for next week's episode. Until next time, keep learning and keep growing. As someone that grew up in southwest Ohio but started comedy in Pittsburgh, the allure of becoming a Queen City comedian has always been something I've toyed with. With clubs like Go Bananas and Funny Bone taking the time to invest in the local comedians of Dayton and Cincinnati, along with my family still being based there, a move certainly has its pluses. While Joe Shelby recently relocated to New York City, his roots in the 'Nati brought him into Pittsburgh for a Two Day World Tour with fellow comedian Chris Siemer. I worked with Chris last November during the Stand Up Erika Owen Fundraiser in my hometown of Springboro. We discuss the different stages of their careers, working in Cincinnati together, Joe's time in Los Angeles and New York City, and when Chris opened for the very special Katt Williams, a story that may go down as one of my all time favorite moments. In other news, when we reached 100 episodes earlier this year, I've tried to make it a point to ask each guest the same question every episode: "What steps can we take towards improving our mutual experience here on the planet?"Now moving forward through the second half of this year, that part of the podcast will be referred to as "Always Improving" and it will be brought to us each week by our Western Pennsylvania friends and new sponsors at Greenbriar Treatment Center. If you know someone struggling with drug or alcohol addiction, you can call Greenbriar confidentially at 800-637-HOPE or online a Greenbriar.net. With addiction recovery, detoxification, halfway houses, and both inpatient and outpatient rehab services they are finding ways to restore hope and recover lives throughout the region. 1-800-637-HOPE (4673) Garrett Titlebaum: It's Nice To See He's Working RSS

In 2004, Moses Sabina joined his brother, Alec, and they embarked on a gastronomic tour, eating their way across America's finest diners, barbecue fests, soul food joints, and fish frys. Their goal was to learn how a good neighborhood restaurant becomes a food institution. Today, Moses and his brother have spent the past decade practicing what they've learned with their restaurant, Hot Suppa, located in Portland, ME. In this episode we will discuss: Always trying to make things better for guests and employees. Running a "neighborhood restaurant." The desire to work for the independent restaurants. Independent v. Corporate company mentality. People-dependant businesses v. Systems-dependant businesses. Working with family. Owning real estate is important for building equity. Taking the time to establish your concept before you put its in motion. The importance of choosing the right market for your concept. Not having financial room for error can help you take your time in establishing a business. You need to be at your restaurant, especially in the beginning. Finding your life-balence. Making people happy through hospitality everyday.
