The Subs take a look at Secret Origins 37, featuring the origin of the Substitute Heroes. They also discuss the recent Arrowverse Crossover, as well as the Fall Finale of The Flash. (Spoilers start when we mention them, and end at minute 42)

This years event, titled Elseworlds brought our heroes from The Flash, Arrow, and Supergirl together to defeat Dr John Deegan as he rewrote reality in the form of a Freaky Friday situation where Oliver is Barry and Barry is Oliver! Unbeknownst to them, it was all part of a test from The Monitor who is assembling a team to help him defeat the Anti-Monitor in the Crisis on Infinite Earths, announced at the end as next seasons (2019) Crossover Event. Elseworlds introduced us to Kate Kane (Batwoman) and Lois Lane as well as teased some big things to come for both women! Cody Runnels - He's Runnels here, not Rhodes, in the opening credits.That's likely because he doesn't actually own the trademark to "Cody Rhodes," his stage name with the WWE. In the comics, the Dominators assemble a coalition of extraterrestrial races to invade Earth, with the goal of eliminating the threat posed by metahumans. Unknown to their allies, the Dominators intend to harness the metagene and create their own army of metahumans.
