In a surprising turn of events, they cement their love for holiday heroine Lacey Chabert, crown Brendan Penny as king of Hallmark's service and care professions, and freak out over the 3/3 Hanukkah hit, “Eight Gifts of Christmas.” Stand by for F*ck, Marry, Kill for another double wedding. The Christmas Contest (Candace Cameron Bure, John Brotherton)Making Spirits Bright (Taylor Cole, Carlo Marks)Christmas in Tahoe (Laura Osnes, Pat Monahan, Kyle Selig)Christmas at Castle Hart (Lacey Chabert, Stuart Townsend)Time for Them to Come Home This Christmas (Jessy Schram, Brendan Penny)Eight Gifts of Christmas (Inbar Levi, Jake Epstein)Thanks to Pietro Lazatin for our music and Paola Lazatin for our cover artFollow us on Twitter: @makeithallmark and on Instagram: @butmakeithallmark
We had a great conversation with Actress | Producer | Entrepreneur Lisa Durupt on The Chris & Sandy Show.. We talked about many things from family, marriage, acting, sacrifices to a whole lot more!Durupt will next be seen in the film Time for Them to Come Home for Christmas alongside Jessy Schram and Brendan Penny. Executive produced by Blake Shelton, it is a continuation of the “Time For” movies inspired by his 2012 song, “Time for Me to Come Home.” The movie will premiere as part of the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Miracles of Christmas slate on November 27th. Durupt has made a name for herself as a fan-favorite on Hallmark Channel and has co-starred in various movies for the network with Nikki DeLoach including The Perfect Catch, A Dream of Christmas, and Reunited at Christmas. She also brought her talent to the crime series The Chronicle Mysteries as Gina DeSavio. The movies, which also star Alison Sweeney, aired on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.
This week I get to interview actor Antonio Cayonne, star of the Hallmark Movies and Mysteries movie titled "The Vows we Keep". We talk about working with Fiona Gubelman and the rest of the cast of "The Vows we Keep", his career with Hallmark, such as working on Christmas with Evergreen, Taylor Cole and Brendan Penny, as well as representation in Hallmark and his thoughts on being one of the first black leads for Hallmark Channel. The importance of "everyone being at the table"
Our September theme is 'You Have Won Love'. and our first movie is Beverly Hills Wedding. It stars Brooke D'Orsay as Molly and Brendan Penny as Cory. Molly is an overzealous sibling who has taken over her little sister Sophia's nuptials and Cory the best man (and Molly's ex) tries to reign her in, as they are all whisked away to a 'dream wedding' in Beverly Hills. In this episode we take a tour of bad boyfriends and Los Angeles. We discuss the merits of honeymooning with your brother and whether the newly engaged couple pushed their beds together before the proposal (gasp). There are plenty of twists, turns and bad renditions of the Weezer song. So join us in SoCal, we'll try to avoid the traffic on our way to a Beverly Hills Wedding. Episode drops September 7th.
The first episode in our Augustation Libations series is Autumn in the Vineyard. This month our movies have a strong alcohol content. We are obviously intoxicated with Rachel Leigh Cook because this is the second movie in a row that we are doing with her, along with the dizzyingly handsome Brendan Penny. In this episode we discuss making dresses out of crime scene tape, when to ask a llama for advice and how to win a winery by planting flags and peeing in corners. We are uncouth as f*ck because this was one of the earlier episodes that we did, but it's still a tipsy good time. We hope you join us to drink in ALL the juices of Autumn in the Vineyard.

Mary and Sarah do a Valentine's Day special Ep with returning guest host, Bettina as they watch BEVERLY HILLS WEDDING. When small-town wedding photographer Molly’s baby sister gets engaged, she enters the budget-conscious couple in a contest and wins a dream wedding – an all-expenses-paid, celeb-worthy event at a historic Beverly Hills hotel, thrown by “planner to the stars,” Terrence Roquefort. It all seems perfect but when the engaged couple seems uneasy with the new plans, and maid of honor duties bring Molly closer to the best man, her ex-boyfriend Cory, she reconsiders whose dreams she is trying to fulfill. Starring Brooke D'Orsay and Brendan Penny.
Love is in the air! Hallmark Channel's "Love Ever After" line up kicks off with "Beverly Hills Wedding" starring Brendan Penny as Cory and Brooke D'Orsay as Molly. Listen in as Megan and Wendy recap and review this brand new movie. Plus, the two reminisce about another television show with a similar title. Email the show at meganandwendy@gmail.com. What is Beverly Hills Wedding About? "Beverly Hills Wedding" stars Brooke D'Orsay as Molly who jumps into wedding planning for her little sister Sophia. Things go sideways when Molly enters and wins a fancy wedding through a sweepstakes entry. Will Molly and celebrity wedding planner Terrence Roquefort bulldoze Sophia and Jordan into a lavish wedding? How does Molly's ex Cory play a role in the planning process? Will Molly eventually put aside her utter annoyance with Cory? Spoiler alert: it all works out wonderfully in this solid 3/4 star Hallmark feature. One of the best lines in Beverly Hills Wedding. This is Cory's response when wedding planner Terrence Roquefort tells him and Jordan that they are "straight out of central casting." News and Notes about Beverly Hills Wedding There are conflicting reports about where exactly Beverly Hills Wedding was filmed. From one source, the movie was filmed throughout the cities of Beverly Hills and Santa Monica, California. Another source claims it was filmed in Canada and British Columbia. There were city shots of both Beverly Hills and Santa Monica used throughout the movie, yet, at no time were the actors ever in those shots. If we were betting women, we'd conclude this movie was filmed entirely in Canada. Bring on the wedding cake! This is a great scene in Beverly Hills Wedding. Mentioned in this episode We couldn't help but notice the terribly dated font used in the opening credits. Megan was able to capture the graphic when she snapped this photo! Are we the only ones who hated the font used in the opening credits of Hallmark Channel's Beverly Hills Wedding? Yay for great music! We loved the cover of Weezer's Beverly Hills. It gave us all the music montage feels. Did you know that we are hard core Beverly Hills, 90210 fans? We're written a lot about the show here over the years. See our Ultimate Guide and our night at the Peach Pit Pop Up. We're still looking for that clip of Donna Martin declaring that Jeremy Jordan is "alright." Missed the Countdown to Christmas reviews? Writer Valerie Loftus joins Alan and Jeanne to talk about Pride, Prejudice, and Mistletoe, a 2018 Hallmark movie starring the Queen of Christmas, Lacey Chabert. It's not really based on Pride & Prejudice at all. Instead it's a heartwarming tale of an investment expert who goes home for Christmas to help her mother organise a charity event in their huge stately home. Her old debate team nemesis is a chef now and gets brought in to help with the event. Can Lacey run the charity event, and fall in love, AND stave off a hostile takeover from her business partners? Hell yeah! Pride, Prejudice, and Mistletoe stars Lacey Chabert and Brendan Penny, was written by Nina Weinman based on a book by Melissa de la Cruz and directed by Don McBrearty. Our chosen charity for this episode is Dogs Angels Dublin, which rescues unwanted dogs from harrowing situations and provides care for them until they find new, loving homes. Valerie Loftus is @valerieloftus on Twitter. Her first book Thanks, Penneys, is out now and it's very funny and you should buy it for people.
