Families should understand their school's stance and decide what's best for their specific situation.  Who Benefits the Most From Outside Counselors?: Students aiming for competitive schools, students without strong school counselor support, and those needing additional advocacy may benefit most from outside counseling. Counseling can make a huge difference in the college admissions process. While school counselors are dedicated and doing their best, their priorities and responsibilities extend beyond just one student's success. That's why it's crucial for families to take control of their child's college journey. If you have the resources, consider investing in outside counseling or dedicating time to independent research and strategic planning. Don't rely solely on your school counselor—proactively seek the best guidance to maximize opportunities. Most importantly, keep pushing forward! The world is such a confused place. For many, discussing evil spirits is fascinating, as looking into dark mysteries beyond our world can be a thrilling and adrenaline-packed ride. For Christians, such conversations are entered into with a fear and respect, as we are speaking of dark and evil things beyond our realm and understanding. It is therefore with caution that we approach this subject. The Bible clearly teaches us that demons do exist, and they are opposed to God and His righteousness. Further, we know this topic is far too easily glorified and dramatized. The specific focus of our present conversation will be to better understand how the Bible defines and separates demonic possession and influence from the serious mental health challenges that are so prevalent today.

Aristotle writes about three different kinds of friendship in the Nicomachean Ethics. It's not uncommon to hear talks about friendship, and how of the three kinds, the best/truest kind of friendship needs to be focused on. We even have some episodes about that very thing. But what Joseph noticed recently is that we're suffering not just from a lack of virtuous/true friends. We're suffering, too, from a singular lack of all three kinds of friends.
