We talk about the current scenario, his journey, his phenomenal studio, and his love for music. To top it all off we also have a special appearance by his cute dog, Ella! About BLOT! BLOT! is a live electronic music project based out of Delhi, India. Straddling music and art, party & performance, Gaurav Malaker is the producer and DJ at the helm of the project. Since its start in 2007 with Thiruda (Avinash), BLOT! has slowly edged away from more minimal sounds into mastery of a warmer and more emotive sound that straddles techno and deeper side of modern house. The producer has delivered an inspiring run of music releases in his career spanning a decade, as well as immersive audiovisual sets and innumerable art installations both in India and abroad. With a full-length album released on Universal Music in 2013 as well as a more recent release on iconic label Diynamic Music, he is one of India's most sought-out producers and performs at club and festival dates all over the country to an extremely loyal fan base, which is rivaled by few. BLOT!'s club act evolves continually. The producer has a hands-on approach to his gigs, and his current preoccupation with warm, analog sounds and classic synthesizers have resulted in a slew of recent productions that are deep and delicate in equal measure, warm tracks with delicious chords and big basslines that are destined for the dancefloor, but at home anywhere. Malaker was also recently voted into the GQ 50 Most Influential Young Indians list and has performed at legendary venues and festivals across the world including Tresor and Bar25 (Berlin), Nuits Sonores (Lyon), and at London's South Bank Centre. In 2014 BLOT! won the VH1 Soundnation award for Best Electronic Act, following up with a double win at the MyFav Awards 2016, for Artist of the Year and Best Techno DJ. He has also scored advertisements for iconic brands and films, BLOT! is also one of the names responsible for co-founding the interdisciplinary creative festival UnBox and underground electronica label Qilla Records. BLOT! was previously awarded a grant by the Wellcome Collection to research and collaborate on Medicine Corner, a program of performances, film, and cultural activity based on informal health care practices from 2016-2017. Born in 1980, Marcus was 15 years old when he became infected with electro music and subse- quently got his hands on a turntable. Biography: Goshva You will always recognize him, you can’t choose but respect him.He is on business for more than 6 years. He raised his own unique style during the time and had already presented it to thousands of clubbers around USA, England, Germany, Australia, Netherlands, Ukraine, Russia and Kazakhstan.In a company with Dj Sender he was in a helm of today’s clubbing culture of Ukraine and its capital in particular. The concept of the DJ FM radiostation, Ferry Corsten and Paul Van Dyk radioshows start, resident and author radioshow Minimalchik on Kiss FM – everything assisted for the proper musical upbringing of the new electronic listeners generation. From the day DJ Magazine was launched in Ukraine DJ Goshva was served as PR Director. He uses his organizing aptitude for the good of Ukrainian music-lovers – performances of world stars, such as Ambivalent, Tiefschwarz, Shlomi Aber, Anja Schneider, Andrea Bertolini, Format B, Pascal FEOS, Andy Moor, Paul Thomas, D Ramirez, Kanio, Alex Gaudino, Electrixx, Fuzzy Hair, Dubfire, Sebastien Leger, Alex Kenji, Audiojack, David Amo and others were held thanks to his activity. He also took part himself in such notorious events as Global Gathering Ukraine, took part in ADE (Amsterdam), WMC (Miami), SWMC (Sochi), EMC (Kiev), SeeMee (Sofia) musical conferences. Avowed around the world Ukrainian Dj has been resident of the Kazantip festival for 5 years already and keeps gladding his fans every summer with fresh musical oddities. In 2009 he released a track in co-author with Drive D - a vinyl record that became a true sensation of the Diynamic label. After the release they performed on a celebrated Diynamic party in Amsterdam. The composition was supported by such musicians as Sasha, Satoshi Tomiie, M.A.N.D.Y., Paul Woolford, Guy Gerber, Stephan Bodzin and soon fastened in the Beatport top-20 for a long time. Since 2009 he starts cooperating with well-known Ukrainian tech-project iO – he helps it with the world-stage advancement and together they push further their musical ideas to every continent. Serious, responsible and influential, sociable and outstanding at the same time – Dj Goshva always has its own point of view about any question concerning musical show-biz. House DJ & Producer, was born in Paris in 1986. His first approach with the DJ'ing world came aged 12 influenced by the great masters of house music like Kerri Chandler, MAW, Lil'Louis, Mr. G, Ricky Morrison, Paul Johnson, Todd Terry, Derrick Carter & Pete Heller. Julian started to produce one year ago simply because he wanted to transform his ideas into music and to develop a new & original sound. He can define his personal style that blends underground sounds nearby to old skool sonorities with most glamorous elements of old-style house. In April 2010 he release his first hit track "Satisfaction" on Diynamic Music which the home of an impressive roster including Ost & Kjex,Solomun,David August, Uner & Coyu to mention a few the tune was a overnight success which was played and charted by many great artists even getting to number 7 in the beatport House Chart.
